Meryl Streep and Martin Short were at the center of some swirling dating rumors online -- but one of them is coming out to shut it all down ... saying there's no romance here.

A rep for Short tells TMZ ... Martin and Meryl are NOT dating, and are just very good friends -- nothing more. The reason he's even having to deny him and Meryl are a thing is because this online account floated the unsubstantiated claim, saying they're the "real deal."

This follows the two stars hobnobbing at the Golden Globes this weekend -- where they were seen hanging out together quite a bit and looking a little cozy in photos.

Of course, Meryl recently came aboard as the newest big star on Marty's hit show "Only Murders in the Building" -- so that's how they're recently connected in showbiz, but they've been friendly for years now. Fact is, they're some of the biggest stars in the game.

The news of them possibly being a couple obviously got a lot of people excited -- 'cause, fact is, they're both unattached and single ... something we just recently learned about Meryl.

Remember, she announced late last year that she and her longtime husband, Don Gummer, had been separated for years now ... noting they were no longer romantically involved. It was very Will Smith/Jada Pinkett -- so yes, Meryl is technically on the market, as is Marty.

He was famously married to the love of his life, Nancy Dolman, for years before she tragically died of ovarian cancer in 2010. Martin has continued to refer to her as his wife, even now.

T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have put their intimate side on display ... 'cause they're out here talking about what kinda sex stuff they're into, in and out of the bedroom.

The couple took a compatibility test on the latest episode of the "Amy & T.J." podcast, which came with some NSFW questions -- and OkCupid's global head of communications, Michael Kaye, laid out for them the kinky things it revealed they're into.

Michael told T.J. and Amy they "both enjoy sex more than foreplay," and that they're "into post-workout sex and shower sex." On its face, it sounds like they're banging a lot!

They also learned they're both more into "cuffs over ropes" in the bedroom -- obviously taken back, Amy playfully said her parents don't even know her that well ... but to be fair, parents aren't researching these kinda things about their kids.

Overall, the 2 scored an 84% compatibility rate -- which, according to Michael, was "really high" ... so take that for what you will.

As we reported, the former 'GMA3' anchors broke their silence last month about their former spouses forming a relationship together -- using the podcast to say they won't be joining the "toxic" chatter surrounding them.

On the latest episode, Michael told them they weren't aligned on the idea of jealousy working with a relationship -- T.J. didn't think so, while Amy thought a small amount of jealousy is healthy.

Lukas Gage is digging the new cast from his HBO series ... and seemingly taking a dig at his estranged husband, Chris Appleton, too.

We got the "White Lotus" star Friday afternoon at the DOGPOUND in West Hollywood and our photog asked him about the hit franchise's new faces.

Lukas says he's especially stoked about Leslie Bibb and Parker Posey, who he says is about as close to a Jennifer Coolidge type as possible.

Of course, there's no replacing Jennifer -- she was the fan favorite for the first two seasons but her character won't be back for a third -- but Lukas says Parker is a great addition nonetheless and he tells us why the show doesn't need Harry Styles' star power.

Other 'Lotus' castings include Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Dom Hetrakul and Tayme Thapthimthong.

Lukas looks pretty fit ... a classic case of post-breakup hotness.

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kyle Richards continues to show she's into women amid rumors she's dating country singer Morgan Wade after separating from hubby Mauricio Umansky.

In a sneek peek of an upcoming 'RHOBH' episode, Kyle is sitting around a table having drinks with her castmates, including Dorit Kemsley and Crystal Kung Minkoff.

Seemingly out of the blue, Kyle asks if the other housewives would ever date a woman. While taking a sip from her glass, Dorit almost spits out her wine in shock over the question Kyle posed.

Minkoff throws the words back at Kyle, asking, "Would you?" Kyle thinks about it for a moment before nodding and giving a short, yet revealing response, "Yup."

In another scene from the trailer, Kyle seems anxiety-ridden over an obscure decision she must make, while staring at her phone with Morgan next to her. Biting her lip, Kyle says, "I'm so anxious. I really don't know if I can do it."

But, Morgan has Kyle's back, telling her, "You got it."

In February 2022, Kyle and Morgan met in person after first communicating over social media, quickly becoming friends and hanging out all the time. Speculation began to grow the two were an item as Kyle's marriage to Mauricio hit the skids.

Talk about drama. We'll have to see how all of this shakes out.

Jayden looked happy and relaxed with his girlfriend ... the pair frolicked in the water, built sand castles and topped up their tans on lounge chairs.

The GF fit in seamlessly with the rest of his family ... as K-Fed was joined by his wife, Victoria Prince, and their other kids.

From a distance, it seemed like a picture-perfect family outing ... though Jayden's mom, Britney, was, of course, absent ... as they've been estranged for at least 2 years now.

The time apart was clearly making the singer nostalgic as she welcomed the new year by posting a couple of throwback snaps of her sons ... who previously made it clear they don't want a relationship with her, for now, at least.

Things between them went from bad to worse when Brit blasted the teens, calling them ungrateful freeloaders.

However, her new post seems like she's ready to extend an olive branch for a reunion.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are really feeling the love now -- this video of them kissing to ring in the New Year also shows him saying "I love you" to her ... in the view of Swifties, that is.

However, we've checked with a few professional lip readers -- some who've testified in high-profile court cases -- and they tell TMZ ... the video is far too blurry to confirm the public declaration of love.

So, we'll never know precisely what sweet nothings the NFL star whispered to the singer while packing on the PDA -- unless they reveal it -- but, it wouldn't be all that weird if they did exchange 'I love yous" ... they've been dating at least 6 months now.

It's also not clear where they rang in the New Year -- but a fellow partygoer shared the clip ... and it looks like others at the bash respectfully left the two to get on with their smoochin'.

NFL announcer Tony Romo may need some cue cards to remember the relationship status of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce – 'cause he thinks they're married!!!

Here's what happened ... Romo was doing the play by play with fellow commentator, Jim Nantz, during the Kansas City Chiefs' 20-14 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day. Taylor was back in her VIP suite for the game at Arrowhead Stadium cheering on Travis – her boyfriend, of course, and the Chief's tight end.

But, Romo got it all twisted when Taylor's image flashed on the TV screen, accidentally calling her Travis' WIFE!!

Check out the video posted on Instagram ... Taylor, wearing a Santa hat with Travis' number "87" on it, stands up to root for her beefy lover on the field.

Romo then blows it, but soon catches himself and corrects his mistake, saying, “And his wife loves it, I mean, girlfriend.”

Nantz doesn't let Romo off the hook, pointing out, “You’ve been down this road before."

Unfortunately, Romo has. While calling the Chiefs game against the Buffalo Bills last week -- Romo made the same boo-boo.

Once again, the camera panned on Taylor clapping in the audience when Romo said, "As you see, Kelce’s wife, Taylor Swift, in the audience." He caught his blunder there, too, quickly adding, "I'm sorry. Girlfriend!"

Another broadcaster quipped, "Not yet," while chuckling at Romo's gaffe.

Tori Spelling might've found new love for Christmas -- 'cause she was hanging out with a mystery stud during last-minute shopping ... and he seems to be cool with her kid too.

The '90210' star was out at a mall just outside of L.A. Friday, and she was rolling with her teenage daughter, Stella, whom she shares with estranged husband Dean McDermott. The two of them had company here ... some middle-aged dude who was part of the pack.

He was seen chatting up Tori and Stella inside the building, especially TS ... staring deep into her eyes. Eventually, he left with them too -- and drove away with Tori riding passenger.

No word on who this guy is, or what his relationship to Tori might be -- there's no sign of PDA here or anything, so it could just be a pal or maybe even a relative. Still, considering everything going on with her these days ... it's interesting to see a new face in the mix.

Remember, Tori just recently talked about experiencing her first "single mom Christmas" ... this in the wake of her splitting with Dean earlier this year. Now, she's not so alone, it seems.

The fact Stella was with them for this outing also speaks to a familiarity that might explain something -- namely, this guy might not be a romantic partner ... 'cause you'd figure Mama Bear wouldn't bring around a fresh fella like this without some groundwork being laid first.

They eventually both left the bar together. She told her friends something as they congregated outside the bar and then walked over to Tom. The 2 walked off together on the sidewalk.

Tom's back to being Tom, with the Scandavol seemingly as old as stale bread. He was out this past week belting out songs during karaoke night at the Foxfire Room in L.A. BTW, his song choice was clearly intentional -- "Loverboy" by Billy Ocean!

It seemed earlier this year Scandoval would be like a Scarlett letter on Tom, but as is usually the case ... all the anger went away. There were so many others this year who diverted fans away from Tom.

The downside for Tom ... with the Scandoval ancient history, it takes heat away from the show that lined his pockets with lots of loot.

The biggest benefactor of the cheating scandal ... Tom's ex, Ariana Madix who has cashed in big time and raised her profile.

Patrick Mahomes says Travis Kelce's boo, Taylor Swift, is seeing a lot of love from the Kansas City Chiefs... 'cause according to him, she's basically a teammate!

The Chiefs' QB had glowing things to say about the singer during a chat on "CBS Mornings," admitting the guys kinda kept their distance from the romance when it first started ... but they all quickly opened up to her.

Patrick says a few jokes about Travis' new relationship just came with the territory -- but adds the entire gang has since welcomed her with open arms, claiming she's an honorary member to them.

PM gave TS a rave review, too ... saying she's "top tier" and is even part of Chiefs Kingdom.

He also says he's loving how well Taylor's been getting along with his wife, Brittany Mahomes -- they've been like white on rice from the get go.
