L.A. Dodgers '88 World Series Tommy Lasorda Jersey Hits Auction From Epic Gibson HR Game
-

A piece of Dodgers history just hit the auction block -- the jersey Tommy Lasorda was wearing during Kirk Gibson's 1988 World Series homer!!!
Yep, the folks at Lelands Auctions say they've authenticated the #2 jersey as the same one Tommy wore as he came jumping out of the dugout at Dodgers Stadium on that legendary Oct.15 night!
Gibson's home run has widely been regarded as one of the top moments in World Series history ... he was badly injured, could barely walk -- but Lasorda sent him up to face Dennis Eckersley in the bottom of the 9th anyway.
The Dodgers were down 4-3 to the Oakland A's in Game 1 of the Series -- and on the 7th pitch of the at-bat (with 2 strikes), Gibson -- using only his upper body -- casually flicked his bat at Eckerlsley's slider.
The ball sailed over the right-field fence, sealing the win for L.A. -- and sparking the Dodgers to eventually win the whole Series.
Now, 32 years later, the white #2 Dodgers jersey that Lasorda wore (and later autographed) while making one of the most BRILLIANT managerial decisions in the history of Major League Baseball is up for grabs.
Lelands says the jersey has been photo-matched for authenticity -- and still has its original Rawlings 'Size 46' tag in the neck!!
Oh, and if you're wondering what happened to the home run ball ... NOBODY KNOWS ITS WHEREABOUTS!!
Seriously, it's one of the great mysteries in sports -- look it up!

Ex-NFL Pro Bowler Selling $5 Mil Cherry Farm And Leaving CA ... Over COVID Protocols
-
Exclusive
Did you know ... ex-49ers Pro Bowl center Jeremy Newberry became a cherry farmer after retiring in 2009?
It's true!
Did you also know ... he's SELLING his cherry farm for $5 MIL because he's sick of the strict COVID protocols in California and has decided to move to another state?!
That's also true!!
Here's the deal ... Newberry has listed his 40-acre cherry farm property located in the Bay Area, which also features an amazing house with a gym and game room!
There's also the backyard which has a basketball court, miniature golf and an amazing pool with fire pits!
The place is incredible -- and Jeremy has run his Newberry Cherry business out of it since 2019, selling his delicious cherries on the property and hosting events!
So, why move? We spoke with Newberry who told us he feels the COVID protocols in California are WAYYY over the top and it's depriving his kids of a normal childhood.
"We're going to move somewhere where our kids can actually go to school, go participate in sports. Somewhere in the country that's open. I kinda feel like these kids are getting deprived from their childhood because everything's locked down."
Newberry added, "What is the future of this state? Are they gonna go back to school next year? Are they gonna go back sometime later this year? We're going on almost a full year now where these kids haven't been in school, haven't been allowed to do any extracurricular activity, any football, any dancing, anything. It's time to give them a childhood that they deserve."
So, where are they looking to move? Idaho -- where Newberry feels the COVID protocols are more relaxed and a better fit for his family.
Still, Newberry hopes his cherry farm finds a new owner who will appreciate it the way he did.
"The cool thing about that property if someone were to buy it, and farm it, it will pay for itself. You can make enough farming where you can live there for free and probably put something in the bank."
"So, that was a tough decision to let it go is because it makes me good money and it's not a lot of work to take care of."
The property -- listed by Deneen Vornhagen of Delta Ranches and Homes Inc -- is on the market for $4.98 million!
The 44-year-old former center -- who is also an NFL analyst for KPIX 5 -- played for the 49ers from 1998 to 2006 -- earning 2 Pro Bowls and 1 All-Pro. He also played for the Raiders, Chargers and Falcons.

Colin Kaepernick's jersey from his NFL debut with the 49ers just sold for a whopping $128k ... the highest price an NFL jersey has EVER fetched at auction.
The jersey is from Kap's rookie debut on October 2, 2011 -- when he came in for Alex Smith for one snap against the Philadelphia Eagles ... which is why the jersey is so clean!
Kap handed the ball off to Frank Gore -- and then went back to the bench. The 49ers won the game 24 to 23.
Of course, Kap's career took off the following season -- he started 7 games and then became the full-time starter in 2013. The rest is history.
Kaepernick signed the jersey from his rookie debut -- inscribing it with the message "2011 game worn rookie jersey" -- and then gifted it to family friend and reporter, Aaron Prince, who put it up for auction in 2019.
The item made its way to Julian's Auctions in 2020 -- where it sold at a high profile event for $128,000 to a buyer whose identity has not yet been revealed.
Julian's claims it's the highest price ANYONE has ever paid for a game-used NFL jersey, EVER.
As we've previously reported, Kap memorabilia has been HOT in with collectors over the past few years ... a combination of interest in Kap as an athlete AND as a social justice icon.
There were more cool items at the auction -- including the NBA jersey given to Michael Jordan on the day he signed with the Bulls in 1984 ... that went for $320,000.
And, a high school basketball jersey worn by Barack Obama in 1979 at Punahou School in Hawaii sold for $192k!
By the way, Obama's jersey number -- 23!

Boosie Badazz Suing Zuckerberg for $20 Million!!! Claims IG Ban Was Racist
Boosie Badazz is taking his beef with Mark Zuckerberg to court ... he says Instagram banned his account because he's Black, so now he's suing over it.
The Louisiana rapper claims he was the victim of racial discrimination when IG put him in social media timeout back in August, and he says he's suing the multi-billionaire Facebook and IG owner for $20 million.
Boosie told Vlad TV the IG ban caused some of his business ventures to tank. He says the $20 million figure is what he lost when his original account was deactivated. It doesn't appear he's actually filed the suit yet.
Remember ... Boosie made a plea to Mark "Zuckinberger" this summer when his IG shut him down for repeatedly violating certain policies. If you followed Boosie on the 'gram, you know his old page was bootylicious ... although IG's never said exactly why it deleted his account.
Boosie thinks Zuck might be holding a grudge and trying to get revenge because he mispronounced his name in an epic rant.
As for the racial element ... Boosie claims he's being discriminated against because of his skin color, saying there's a lot of other folks -- presumably white -- who got their Instagram pages back after being banned for way worse stuff.
Boosie's since made a new account but he's still not happy. He says he can't go live on his new page and it's "f******* up my income."

Elizabeth Taylor didn't make the cut in "The Chanukah Song," but she famously converted to Judaism in 1959, and now ... a couple mementos of her faith are hitting the auction block.
Two menorahs belonging to the iconic "Cleopatra" star will be on display for the upcoming Jewish celebration at the J Greenstein Gallery in New York ... then will go up for grabs in January.
We're told the menorahs were originally purchased after her death at the Julien's of Hollywood estate sale when they sold her property.
The larger one is expected to fetch $15,000 - $20,000 at the auction, with the smaller one expected to go for up to $8k.
If you aren't aware ... Taylor was one of the biggest movie stars in the world when she converted, and not just because she married a Jewish man. She was reportedly very devoted to her faith for decades until she passed in 2011.
She wasn't the only celeb at the time to famously become Jewish either -- Marilyn Monroe and Sammy Davis Jr. did as well.
Jonathan Greenstein -- founder and president of J. Greenstein & Co. -- says along with Taylor's menorahs, the upcoming auction on Jan. 17 will feature items representing "over a hundred years of Jewish heritage, from 1700s Eastern Europe to Hollywood in the middle of the 20th century."

NBA's Paul Pierce Sued By His Weed Guy I Built Your Grow House and You Stiffed Me!!!
-
Exclusive

NBA legend Paul Pierce is being sued over an alleged marijuana deal gone bad -- accused of screwing over the guy he hired to build and run his grow house!
"The Truth" is being sued by Kenneth Johnson -- who's been described as a "master grower" when it comes to cannabis.
In his suit, Johnson claims Pierce hired him back in 2016 to "design and develop a warehouse to cultivate cannabis from inception to completion."
Johnson claims Pierce offered him $10,000 per month -- and required him to move out to L.A. ... not a bad gig, right!?
But, soon after they got started, Johnson says Pierce cut his pay to $4,000 -- claiming they couldn't afford the full rate until after there was product to be sold.
Johnson claims things got worse from there ... claiming Pierce and his company "cut corners" and didn't even get the weed plants into the warehouse until late 2018.
Even then, Johnson claims Pierce refused to pay him his promised $10,000 monthly rate -- insisting they wouldn't have the funds until after the first marijuana harvest.
Things finally came to a head in Nov. 2019 -- Johnson claims he still wasn't getting his full pay so he left the company ... while Pierce's operation still owed him more than $42k in unpaid wages!
Now, Johnson's suing for back pay -- plus unpaid overtime, missed meal period violations and more.
The weed biz ... it ain't all fun and games!
We reached out to Paul's reps for comment -- so far, no word back.

Daymond John Warner's Shaking Up the Movie Game ... But Theaters Ain't Dead Yet
-

Warner Bros' plan to stream new movie releases will not only rock the theater industry, but also impact the U.S. economy ... according to Daymond John.
The "Shark Tank" star joined "TMZ Live" Friday to break down Warner's game-changer -- streaming its blockbuster 2021 films on HBO Max, while also releasing them in theaters. He says it's a big win for movie buffs and distributors like WB.
But, he can already see how it will shift the economy as a whole because he's lived through it. Remember, "Trolls World Tour" was released on demand, and in theaters earlier this year -- and you gotta see how that ended up costing him $200. He explains why the cash is spread out to more companies when ya go to a theater, as opposed to staying home to watch a new movie.
No more how ya slice it, though ... It's bad news for movie theater owners.
The big chains, along with independent theaters, are worrying about how Warner's streaming plan will cut into their already plummeting revenues -- but Daymond tells us why there's still hope for them to survive ... in the long run.

Luminar CEO Austin Russell Self-Made Billionaire at 25 ... 'Sup, Kylie Jenner???
The founder of Luminar Technologies -- a potential major player in self-driving cars -- is snatching the crown Kylie Jenner once wore ... now that he's the world's youngest self-made billionaire.
Austin Russell's only 25, but he's worth a whopping $2.4 BILLION after his company's stock market debut Thursday ... which saw its share price soar to $22.98, giving the company a market value of about $7.8 billion.
Russell owns about a third of that, so do the math ... and yeah, the dude's balling. Forbes dubbed him the world's youngest self-made billionaire, and his wealth is expected to climb even more Friday along with Luminar's stock price.
As you'll recall, Forbes had previously given Kylie that title in August 2018, but earlier this year -- after some forensic accounting -- determined she actually came up about $100 mil short.
Of course, Kylie's "self-made" status was also called into question, but that doesn't seem to be the case for Russell ... who dropped out of college in 2012 to start Luminar.
AR's company's pretty cool ... it makes a device called lidar scanners that use lasers to give autonomous cars a 3-D view of the road and surroundings. The company's already struck deals with Volvo, Daimler Truck and Intel’s autonomous vehicle unit ... and is projected to start raking in billions annually.
For now, though ... it's given a 25-year-old dropout serious bragging rights.

Sasha Obama TikTok Millions Await ... If She Wants It!!!
-
Exclusive
- 12.9K shares
Sasha Obama already comes from a very influential family, but if she ever decides to break out on her own as an influencer ... the sky's the limit.
That's what the CEOs of 2 leading influencer-marketing agencies believe anyway, telling TMZ the former first daughter could amass 1-2 million followers on TikTok in her first week ... if not her first day.
Joe Gagliese of Viral Nation tells us, Sasha would be an overnight success story if she joined the popular social platform ... and could reach 10 million followers in a year easily if she posted content consistently.
He also says he could see her making $5-8 MILLION per year -- just off endorsements -- if she signed on with his agency, but they haven't tried to recruit her ... yet.
Joe says they'd be stupid not to try to get her as a client though, because she presents herself in a very "brand-friendly" and classy way ... which he says leads to better business deals. To top it off ... Gagliese believes the youngest Obama clearly has a lot of talent.
Likewise, Mae Karwowski of Obviously tells us, Sasha could rake in a few mil a year with the right brand deals, and she'd be able to charge top-dollar -- six figures immediately -- for pretty much any brand of her choosing.
Mae says Sasha has a cool, mysterious cache because she's kept such a low profile ... so she thinks there's a lot of pent-up interest in her that would result in high demand if she gets on TikTok.
As we reported ... Sasha's not on TikTok yet, but sent the internet into a tizzy this week just by appearing in one with her college friends.
Karwowski points out Sasha may not be ready for attention like that, or even want to seek out the limelight that comes with being an influencer ... it's her call to make.
If she does, though, Mae predicts the Obamas will help her do it in a smart, methodical way ... which is the right way when you're poised for macro-influencer status.

DECEMBER 2020
7:51 AM PT -- Good news for Hannah -- she's being allowed to break her lease with no fees or penalties.
The company managing the apartment building tells us Hannah's December rent will also be waived, and she'll get her security deposit back if she vacates her unit before Dec. 24.
Hannah Viverette -- the woman whose TikTok recording captured the moment a man allegedly busted into her home -- says she's now stuck between a rock and a very scary hard place due to the ordeal.
Hannah tells us the man who was arrested for stalking after entering her apartment Sunday night still lives in her building. He bailed out of jail after his arrest, and she says his eviction date is still a couple weeks away.
DECEMBER 2020
Hannah says she's frightened to live there and has been staying in a safe place since the incident -- but she's desperate to move out for good and find a new permanent home.
Problem is, she claims her apartment complex in Maryland won't allow her to break her lease -- and says she's already dealing with enough hardship as a single mom who lost her job due to the pandemic.
Her attorney, Symone Redwine, tells us she believes what happened to Hannah is grounds for her to immediately terminate her lease without penalty ... and she's talking to the complex to try to make that happen.
As we reported ... Angel Moises Rodriguez-Gomez was charged with 2 counts of burglary, second-degree assault, stalking and malicious destruction of property.
Hannah tells us she also filed for a restraining order a few days after the incident because she was told it would help expedite the process of him getting kicked out of the building. She says his eviction date, as of now, isn't until mid-December.
We reached out to the housing complex, but no word back so far.

10:27 AM PT -- 12//3 -- G Herbo has surrendered to authorities in L.A. ... federal law enforcement sources confirm with TMZ.
6:58 PM PT -- A rep for G Herbo tells us, "He (G Herbo) maintains his innocence and looks forward to establishing his innocence in court."
They continue, "Herbo has legal representation in Massachusetts via Prince Lobel, whose team has reached out to the US Attorney’s office in Massachusetts to make arrangements for Herbo's appearance. G Herbo will appear in Massachusetts whenever he is required either in person or via Zoom."
G Herbo and his associates perpetrated a massive fraud to go on fancy vacations, fly on private jets and even buy "designer puppies" ... so claim the feds.
According to a new federal complaint, G Herbo -- along with his music promoter and other members of his crew -- allegedly conspired to defraud numerous businesses with stolen credit cards over the course of a 4-year period.
In docs, obtained by TMZ, the feds claim Herbo specifically conspired to get a private villa in Jamaica back in July 2017 by contacting music promoter Antonio Strong to arrange it and provide a stolen credit card to pay for incidentals.
What's more ... the feds allege the rapper was in cahoots with Strong to use an alias and a stolen credit card to purchase 2 "designer puppies" from a luxury pet store. The feds allege the other defendants also scored private jet charters to fly women, private yacht charters, exotic car rentals and luxury hotel and vacation rental accommodations.
Herbo's been charged with 1 count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and 2 counts of aiding and abetting aggravated identity theft. Antonio was also slapped with several counts, including wire fraud ... and was arrested back in September, but it's unclear if Herbo has plans to surrender.
His attorney provided a "no comment" when reached by the Chicago Tribune, which first reported the story.
The news comes on the heels of Forbes naming Herbo to its 30 under 30 list in the music category. The publication praised the rapper for his recent music success and launching a youth mental health initiative.

The old adage "There's no such thing as bad publicity" is ringing true for TRUE Kitchen + Kocktails ... because all's very well after its recent twerking controversy.
The Dallas restaurant's owner, Kevin Kelley, tells TMZ ... the joint's been inundated with requests to dine there since he gained some notoriety for his anti-twerking speech earlier this week.
He says TRUE's been a reservation-only business since they opened 5 months ago, and they're all booked up now for the foreseeable future. More importantly, Kelley says sales have remained strong in wake of what went down ... and he has no plans to change anything up.
The owner tells us ... "I'm glad the public has had a chance to decide what they do and don’t want in their restaurants. The effect on our restaurant has been overwhelmingly positive."
He adds that former Dallas Cowboy Dez Bryant's been a supporter, and says ... "We’ve received an outpouring of support that we did not anticipate online and in person. This lets us know the public believes in our vision for the restaurant and they will support a concept working to fill a void in our communities."
In case you missed it ... Kelley received both praise and backlash for his stance against twerking in his restaurant, and doubled down -- it's just something he doesn't want at his establishment.

Elvis Presley Honeymoon Crib Hits Market (Again) This Time for $2.5 Million!!!
-
Exclusive
- 4.3K shares
Wanna live like the King of Rock and Roll? It's possible for whoever snatches up the home where Elvis and Priscilla Presley enjoyed their honeymoon ... but it'll cost a pretty penny.
The so-called Elvis Honeymoon Hideaway in Palm Springs has hit the market again for a cool $2.5 million. The crib's famous because Elvis leased the pad in 1966 for a year for $21,000, which sounds like an incredible deal ... but in '66 that was a handsome sum.
It's the same house where Elvis and Priscilla were supposed to get married on May 1, 1967 ... but the press got wind of the plan so they jettisoned that plan and had a quickie-wedding in Vegas.
The newlyweds certainly kept busy in the house ... exactly 9 months after beginning their honeymoon in Palm Springs, on February 1, 1968, Lisa Marie Presley was born.
The house was really futuristic ... dubbed the "House of Tomorrow."
The home was restored in the '90s ... though it maintains clean mid-century elements like rock walls, a floating fireplace and terrazzo flooring. The 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom pad has 5,000 square feet of living space ... not to mention tons of outdoor space that includes a cool pool.
This house was on the market a year ago for $3.2 million ... and the price has dropped roughly a dozen times since it first hit the market with a $9.5 million price tag in 2014. Turns out the house was in escrow several times but none actually closed.
Scott Histed of Bennion Deville Homes holds the listing.
BTW, another fun fact ... it's believed Elvis' '1968 Comeback Special' that aired on NBC was planned during the many months the singer spent there.
Goes without saying ... whoever gets this will own a piece of history.

Anthony Davis To Sign $190 Million Deal ... to Stay with Lakers
-
Breaking News
Nice little Thursday for Anthony Davis ... who's expected to sign a 5-year, $190 MILLION contract to remain with the L.A. Lakers.
The 27-year-old free agent will sign the deal at some point today, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski ... putting the Lakers in a great position to repeat as NBA champs.
Davis will make $32.7 million this season and enjoy annual increases that will pay him $43.2 in the 5th year of the deal.
There was some concern Davis could leave L.A. for another market -- but in the end, the money and the opportunity to build on a solid first season with LeBron James proved too enticing.
It also helps that LeBron and Davis are repped by the same agent, Rich Paul.
Remember, those 3 went to dinner at Nobu in Malibu back in October ... presumably to talk business.
The news on Davis' deal comes after word that LeBron is signing a 2-year, $85 million extension to stay with the Lakers.
Good luck to the rest of the NBA ...
