Nothing could be more on the nose than breakout actor Darren Criss singing the signature song from Lady Gaga's "A Star is Born" at a bar. Seriously ... this dude's talented.

The lead star from the FX series 'The Assassination of Gianni Versace' -- a role that won him tons of accolades this past awards season -- took the stage early Saturday morning at Tramp Stamp Granny's in Hollywood ... a piano bar that he has an ownership stake in.

Check it out ... Darren takes on the role of Bradley Cooper with the first verse and does pretty damn well. Then, a female companion gets onstage for Gaga's verse ... and absolutely kills it. We're told Darren went on to sing "A Whole New World" too, all impromptu.

It's been about three months since the Academy Awards wrapped up, where "Shallow" won Best Original Song ... but people still seem to be completely enamored with the movie, and the tune.

Take the WWE wrestlers who sang it in the ring a couple months back, or Billy Porter taking a whack at it in January. Now, Darren and co. are doing their own rendition.

2:45 PM PT -- The Aventura Police Department -- which is a stone's throw away from Sunny Isles, where NBA YoungBoy was reportedly shot at -- tells TMZ ... another shooting happened in their jurisdiction, and investigators are looking to see if it might be related to what went down at the Trump Beach Resort.

NBA YoungBoy and his crew were reportedly on the receiving end of bullets on Mother's Day outside the Trump Beach Resort near Miami ... and at least one person was killed.

Shots rang out Sunday near the beachside hotel, where YB and his entourage were later identified as being on the scene. It's unclear at this point what NBA YoungBoy's exact involvement might've been -- but multiple eyewitnesses say someone opened fire on him.

We got video of the immediate aftermath, and it looks like a frenzied scene as people rush to attend to the alleged victims. We're told the prominent black vehicle seen here had NBA YoungBoy and co. inside. Our sources also say YoungBoy was staying at the Trump resort.

Lots of folks are reporting that YoungBoy was NOT shot himself, but many others suggest his girlfriend, Kay Marie, was injured with a gunshot wound. The only thing cops are saying at this point is that one person was left dead in the shootout -- we're working on getting more.

Other reports suggest that YoungBoy's security gunned down the alleged shooter. It's unclear if that's actually the case, but somebody was definitely taken away in a stretcher. It looks like YoungBoy was left standing on his own two feet by the end of it.

Crazy enough ... YoungBoy's in town to perform at Rolling Loud Sunday night. No word on if he'll take the stage at this point, we'll keep ya posted.

Kanye West is remembering his late mom, Donda West, with a very special Sunday Service ... and the tribute was truly touching on Mother's Day, from start to end.

Ye was live streaming his weekly spiritual event Sunday, which was being filmed in the same fisheye lens he used during his big set at Coachella a few weeks back. It began with the rapper making his way to the stage with Tupac's "Dear Mama" track as walk-up music.

Fitting ... seeing how he followed with his own shout-out to his mom in "Hey Mama." Kanye rapped the song all the way through, keeping his eyes closed through most of it.

Donda was a crucial part of Kanye's life until she passed away in 2007 due to complications from a surgery she'd undergone at the time. It left Kanye an emotional wreck for years to come -- and her death even served as a catalyst for his mental breakdown in 2016.

Of course, Kanye and Kim have had multiple children of their own in the years since ... and just welcomed their fourth kid -- a boy -- last week via surrogate.

Big Boi knows how to give his son -- and his fans -- what they want in one shot ... gifting his boy a new whip for graduation, and linking up with his OutKast counterpart to boot.

BB was celebrating his son, Cross "The Boss" Patton, for crossing the finish line at Woodward Academy in Atlanta, GA -- where he's leaving with a football scholarship to play at the University of Oregon as a running back in the fall.

To mark the moment, Big Boi handed Cross the keys to a brand spanking new Tesla ... which he was clearly ecstatic to be getting behind the wheel for.

That wasn't the only surprise though -- Andre 3000 showed up to get in on the festivities as well, even posing for a pic with the graduate and his longtime partner in rhyme.

Lil Wayne bailed on Rolling Loud after festival security insisted on frisking him.

Wayne was set to headline the Audiomack Stage in Miami but pulled the plug after security was unrelenting, insisting that he go through a "mandatory" security check.

Wayne reached out to fans on social media, apologizing, but standing firm ... "I do not and will not ever settle for being policed to do my job."

He then told the fans they could still see him ... at the scheduled afterparty at STORY nightclub. We know he showed up for the party.

He also plugged his summer tour with Blink 182.

It was a pretty wild night. Kodak Black was arrested earlier in the evening at Rolling Loud after law enforcement executed arrest warrants ... the rapper was wanted for state and federal offenses involving firearms. It's unclear if he was armed at the time of his arrest.

The show continued after Lil Wayne bailed ... Lil Baby performed after Wayne's scheduled set and it doesn't appear people in the audience bailed on the festival.

R. Kelly's daughter says her college days got cut short because he stopped paying tuition, but he claims he thought there were no bills to pay ... because she wasn't enrolled.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ ... Joann Lee, aka Buku Abi, was attending a California art school until last Fall when she tried signing up for classes for the next semester but got denied because of an unpaid bill.

Kelly's on the hook for Joann's tuition and education expenses until she turns 23 -- per his child support agreement with ex-wife Drea -- but her side claims he cut her off without warning last year ... and she was forced to drop out.

We're told Kelly also stopped paying for the apartment Joann was living in while going to school so she had to move out, and she had to pay for her own books for a while because he stopped doing that too.

The singer tells a different story, though.

Kelly's Crisis Manager, Darrell Johnson, tells us ... Kelly's requirement to pay for her education is predicated on him receiving billing statements and proof of expenses ... and he claims he never got them.

Kelly allegedly believed Joann chose to drop out of school and that's why he stopped getting bills. Johnson says Drea never produced any documentation or proof that Joann got kicked out of school either.

Our sources say Joann wants to return to college and will be seeking financial support from her father. Whether or not he's got the money is another story.

As we reported ... Kelly just ponied up the back child support he owed Drea this week to avoid another trip to jail, but he was informed he still owes $32k in interest. And, he currently owes just over $20k per month to Drea in support.

It should be noted -- R. Kelly and his daughter's relationship is beyond strained already. Joann referred to him as a "monster" in January following the release of the "Surviving R. Kelly" docuseries, and says they've been estranged for years.

Michael Jackson would have been proud because his oldest son is now a college grad.

Prince Jackson graduated Saturday from Loyola Marymount University in L.A., snagging a degree in business administration.

TJ Jackson, who has been a surrogate parent to Prince, Paris and Blanket since Michael's death in 2009, was on hand and said, "Prince, it's been a long road but you did it. Keep learning, keep growing and keep giving back! So so proud of you. I love you."

Prince rode his motorcycle to the ceremony at the Loyola campus.

Michael's kid attended the famous Buckley School before attending college. Buckley turned out tons of celebs, including Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Matthew Perry and Rashida Jones.

Cardi B got a surprise this weekend, on the eve of her very first Mother's Day ... and it brought her to fake tears!!!

Offset surprised Cardi in Miami, where she was performing at the Rolling Loud festival with 10-month-old baby Kulture and 2 Birkin bags. As you know, Birkin's are reserved for people who make 8 figures or more per year.

Her reaction ... "Soooo happy. I feel like the luckiest person in the world."

Cardi followed up with words of inspiration, saying, "Enjoy your day everyone. If you having a bad day keep your chin up and pray to God to see brighter days! Even if you feel like bad s**t keep happening back to back. Keep on having faith in your prayers."

By the way, if Kulture and Birkins weren't enough, she chowed down on fried Oreos at Big Pink, a fav with the Miami breakfast crowd.

She and Offset have had a rocky year ... breaking up and then making up in a big way.

Kodak Black was grabbed by cops backstage at a popular Miami music festival before his scheduled performance ... and it's all because of warrants stemming back to firearms charges.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the rapper pulled up at Rolling Loud Saturday -- where he was to take the stage -- and both local and federal agents were waiting. We're told officers from Miami Dade and ATF were armed with both state and federal warrants.

Kodak was arrested on the spot and hauled off to the police station.

Our sources say all of the warrants he was arrested on were firearm related.

It's currently unclear if Kodak was armed at the time of his arrest.

Joyner Lucas is ripping the Catholic church for coming out against his controversial music video shot inside a place of worship ... he says they knew what they were getting into, and they profited.

We got the rapper coming out of the Montage Hotel in Bev Hills and asked if he was going to apologize for swearing and chugging booze inside St. Peter's Catholic Church in Worcester, Mass.

Joyner says HELL NO ... he doesn't regret anything because everyone was on the same page from the jump, and the church willingly took his money knowing full well what was about to go down.

Cursing and drinking aren't the only things the church is condemning now ... Joyner's music video also places pictures of President Trump and conservative commentators Laura Ingraham and Tomi Lahren above caskets, while he asks God why Nipsey Hussle, Michael Jackson, Selena, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G. and so many others died young.

The Catholic League had a big problem with that imagery, and they're even bashing Rihanna for sharing the vid ... but Joyner tells us he's not calling for anyone's death and takes issue with his First Amendment rights being trampled when Trump and others spew controversial takes themselves.

It's time for Kanye to give his music 100% to the lord ... that's according to Brandon Jennings, who says Kanye's Sunday Services are SO GOOD, that Ye should think about going gospel for real.

If you don't know what Sunday Services are we'll tell you ... it's where Kanye invites a bunch of famous people to Calabasas for an inspirational praise and worship session ... on Sunday.

It's not exactly church, but when we got Jennings out in L.A. he told us he's been, and it's AMAZING.

"If you love music, go to Kanye's service on Sunday ... for me I love music and it's positive and I see a lot of families there."

Must be really life-changing, 'cause Jennings thinks Kanye should turn in his keyboard for an organ, at least for one record.

"I think he should put out a gospel album, he'll definitely win a Grammy for that."

Kanye's done the gospel thing before -- remember "Jesus Walks?" -- so it's not out of the question.

Talk about a blast from the past -- we got Nicole Richie rapping early 2000s Dr. Dre alongside her hubby, Joel Madden ... and killin' it too.

Lionel Richie's eldest kid hit up the Retro Room in Palm Springs Friday night with the Good Charlotte singer and a handful of pals, where we're told they sat down and had themselves some drinks ... staying for about two hours total. It wasn't just wining and dining the couple did, though -- a little karaoke got thrown in the mix too.

They opted to perform together ... with Nicole taking the lead, and Joel playing hype man for her. In the footage, obtained by TMZ, you can see Nicole rapping along to the Eminem and Dre track, "Forgot About Dre." Check it out ... she does pretty well in keeping up with Slim.

Nicole and Joel are pretty low key these days, but it's always nice seeing 'em out and about ... even if it's not in the heart of L.A. They got hitched in 2010, and have a couple of children together. The simple life, if you will.

Cardi B and Offset don't seem too concerned about alleged attempts on his life out in Georgia -- there's too much $$$ to be made in the state next door ... and they're gettin' it.

The married couple spread out and took the city of Miami by storm in the wee hours of Saturday morning following their performances at the nearby Rolling Loud Festival, where Offset and the rest of Migos headlined ... and Cardi handled her own set solo.

Cardi hit up David Grutman's LIV nightclub to perform at an after-party she'd been booked for, showing up around 3:30 AM, we're told, and going on to rap a number of her hit songs, including "Taki Taki," "Money," Bodak Yellow" and "I Like It."

Check out her outfit of choice too -- looks like she's on a sheer neon trip lately. No complaints here!!!

Meanwhile ... Offset, Quavo and Takeoff were on the mainland at E11EVEN Miami, where they too were hired to perform ... only doing it from the cozy confines of their VIP section. Sources tell us Offset and co. did a few different songs from their actual table in the club's "party pit," and ended up walking out of the joint around 5:30 AM ET.

The all-nighters follow a very scary situation just a couple of days prior -- a car was seen opening fire on an Atlanta studio where Offset was recording Wednesday.

In surveillance footage, obtained by TMZ, you can see someone hanging out the passenger side of the car as shots ring out. Offset wasn't harmed, and cops are currently investigating. One witness on the scene felt as though the rapper might've been a target.

Ariana Grande as the spitting image of Audrey Hepburn for Givenchy has set off strong feelings from Audrey's son ... who applauds the tribute, but also thinks Ariana should fire her team.

Audrey's son, Sean, tells TMZ ... he's happy with the tribute to his late mother, but he's baffled that Ariana's team wasn't more creative to build something original. Sean says he'd fire her team if he could because all they did was make Ariana a look-alike.

As you know by now ... the French luxury fashion house tapped the "7 Rings" singer as the new face of its 2019 Fall and Winter campaign that'll be unveiled in July. Givenchy announced the news Friday with an Ariana video ... featuring her in a black dress super similar to the one Audrey wore in "Breakfast at Tiffany's." Ariana's also posing kinda like Audrey did in the opening scene.

The double nod to Audrey didn't go unnoticed, and it's also no surprise given Ariana's obsession with the film. She has the movie's famous phrase "mille tendresse" (meaning a thousand tendernesses in French) tattooed on the back of her neck. It's Ariana's favorite movie ... and if you needed more evidence, the opening lyrics to "7 Rings" goes, "Yeah, breakfast at Tiffany's and bottles of bubbles."

Don't get it twisted ... Sean's down with the tribute because it's clear Audrey Hepburn and Givenchy will forever be synonymous because he says Audrey and designer Hubert Givenchy not only collaborated but built the brand together.

It's true ... Audrey's black dress in 'Breakfast' was designed by Givenchy ... as was the wardrobe she wore in "Sabrina," "Funny Face" and "Love in the Afternoon," among others.

Bushwick Bill's ongoing battle with pancreatic cancer is prompting one last hurrah for the Geto Boys ... he's joining forces with Scarface and Willie D for the legendary rap group's farewell tour.

We've learned the Geto Boys are gearing up to announce their final round of shows ... and we're told Bushwick's cancer diagnosis was the catalyst for the reunion.

The Geto Boys are calling their last tour "The Beginning of a Long Goodbye, The Final Farewell" ... and they're donating a portion of the proceeds to pancreatic cancer awareness.

Gigs in Michigan, Ohio, D.C. and NYC are scheduled for the end of this month ... and we're told more shows are in the works.

TMZ broke the story ... Bushwick Bill is fighting stage 4 pancreatic cancer and is undergoing intensive chemotherapy treatments. He was diagnosed back in February, and told us the news came as a complete shock.

His manager, Jakk Swiss, gave us an update on Bill's condition ... telling us he's spending lots of time in the studio, working long nights as he puts the finishing touches on a new single.

Scarface says he's looking forward to performing alongside Willie D and Bushwick for one last go round ... but admits it's gonna be a tearjerker.

Founding member of The Fugees, Pras Michel, is in serious legal trouble with the feds for allegedly funneling millions of dollars worth of campaign contributions.

Federal prosecutors in D.C. slapped the rapper with a 4-count indictment Friday ... claiming he and infamous Malaysian businessman Jho Low conspired to funnel funds from foreign accounts to make political contribution in the U.S. ... reportedly for President Obama.

Although the indictment doesn't mention Obama by name ... it says Pras made the donations for a Presidential candidate in the 2012 election, and specifies dates on which Pras posed for pics with that candidate. According to multiple reports, the candidate was Obama.

Pras has posted pics with Obama ... although it's unclear the date they were taken.

According to docs, obtained by TMZ, Low would send the money to Pras ... who would then recruit friends -- or "straw donors" -- and then divvy up the funds between them ... so they could make smaller donations to political action committees. The feds believe the smaller donations were made to disguise the source of the money ... namely Jho Low, who's also been indicted.

It's illegal for all foreign entities -- not only Russia -- to use money to influence U.S. elections.

As we reported, the feds had filed a civil lawsuit last year against Low, and although Pras' alleged involvement was mentioned in that suit ... he was not a defendant. He told us he was innocent.

Fast forward to Friday ... and Pras is staring down possible prison time. The indictment charges him with conspiracy, false statement and 2 counts of false entry in record.
