If you're looking for an apology from Tyra Banks for "America's Next Top Model's" controversial practices, you'll be waiting a long time ... and Adrianne Curry-Rhode loves that about her.

Adrianne, who won the first cycle of the '00s reality competition, shared a video Monday saying that Tyra "will not bend the knee and I respect that."

The way Adrianne sees it ... Tyra genuinely is not sorry, so why should she apologize?

"America's Next Top Model" creator and host Tyra Banks is finally adding some context to why the show documented Shandi Sullivan's "drunk shower sex" ... which the Season 2 contestant says was sexual assault.

To catch you up ... Shandi opened up about her experience on the reality show's second season -- AKA Cycle 2 -- for the new Netflix docuseries, "Reality Check: Inside America's Next Top Model."

Fans will remember one of the show's storylines seemed to suggest Shandi had cheated on her boyfriend during a wild night of drinking ... but Shandi says the sexual encounter occurred without her consent.

Former "America's Next Top Model" star Lisa D'Amato ain't smizing no more ... she's using some very choice words to describe Tyra Banks while accusing her of trying to one-up her with a new Netflix doc tied to the infamous modelling series.

Lisa was on "TMZ Live" Tuesday ... labeling Tyra a "slimy little snake" and claiming that even though she isn’t officially listed as producer on "Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model," she’s all over it BTS to soften accusations of mistreatment while dodging accountability.

It gets messier... Lisa claims Tyra caught wind of her own 'ANTM' exposé set to air on E! in March -- and rushed to lock down Netflix so she could get her version out first on Feb 16th.

Just a day after ABC dropped Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews leading into season 29, TMZ has learned the former supermodel is strutting her way into that role.

In addition to smizing in front of the camera, Tyra will also be an Executive Producer of the show. We've learned she was in talks with the network long before ABC cut ties with Tom and Erin.

On Monday, Tom announced the show would be continuing without him, and said his 15 years hosting were the "most unexpected gift of my career." ABC and BBC released their own statement about Tom and Erin's departures ... saying the show is embarking "on a new creative direction."

Sources close to Tom tell TMZ the news came as quite a shock to him, and he was only informed of his departure this week.

The pair had been co-hosting together since 2010, after Erin was a contestant on the show -- but now, as Daily Mail first reported, the "America's Next Top Model" creator will be stepping into that glittery, disco-balled arena.

Dustin McNeer -- best known for appearing on cycle 22 of "America's Next Top Model" -- has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman believed to be his girlfriend ... TMZ has learned.

Cops arrested McNeer Wednesday in Charlotte, NC after a 21-year-old woman reported him for domestic assault the day before ... according to police docs.

The model turned bodybuilder was booked on 2 misdemeanor charges -- one count of assault on a female, and one count of injury to personal property. Sources close to the situation tell us the female is McNeer's GF.

Cops say she told them the incident happened on November 8, and she suffered minor injuries, but did not get any medical treatment. She also claims her iPhone was also damaged during the alleged confrontation.

McNeer's being held on a $500 bond.

Dustin appeared on 'ANTM: Guys & Girls' in 2015 and finished in 7th place. He's since moved on to the world of bodybuilding.

Renee Alway -- a finalist on cycle 8 of "America's Next Top Model" -- was arrested for domestic violence just over a year after she was released from prison.

The former model was busted by cops in Palm Springs, CA this past week on a laundry list of felony charges. According to her inmate profile, Renee was booked for assault with a deadly weapon (not a firearm), 2 counts of infliction of corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, terrorist threats, a prior felony conviction, and a violation of parole.

In case you'd forgotten ... Renee was released from custody in August of 2018 after having served 5 years of a 12-year prison sentence in California.

That prison sentence was from her June 2013 arrest, when she got into a 6-hour standoff with police after being spotted wandering around a vacant home while carrying a gun.

That became at least her fourth arrest that year, and it resulted in a gnarly mug shot, and later ... a shaved head in court. Renee's 'ANTM' season aired way back in 2007 -- she ended up placing 3rd behind Jaslene Gonzalez and Natasha Galkina, respectively.
