6:01 PM PT -- A spokesperson for New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says their office is "deeply familiar with Harvey Weinstein's years of egregious sexual abuse, and recently filed a civil rights lawsuit against him alleging severe and persistent abuse of employees at The Weinstein Company." They add the AG is committed to a full, fair and independent review of the Manhattan D.A.'s handling of the Weinstein case.

Harvey Weinstein skated after NYPD recorded him asking a model to watch him shower -- and NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo wants to know why.

Gov. Cuomo is directing the state's Attorney General to review how Manhattan D.A. Cyrus Vance, Jr. handled the 2015 sting operation ... where cops wired a model named Ambra Battilana, who claims Weinstein groped her breasts during a business meeting.

On the recording, first obtained by the New Yorker, Weinstein refers to the alleged groping, saying, "I'm used to that" ... and then begs her to come into his room. She refused, and he got pissed. Despite the recording, Weinstein was not charged. The D.A. said "the audio was insufficient to prove a crime."

Meek Mill wants Pennsylvania's Supreme Court to do some simple math ... which he believes should add up to his immediate release from prison.

Meek's attorneys filed docs Monday requesting he be released from prison on bail while he awaits a hearing to overturn his 2-4 year prison sentence. He points out the Philly D.A.'s Office has said it would not oppose his release on bail ... due to a wide-reaching police corruption case involving Meek's arresting officer, Reginald Graham.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Meek says his initial conviction was based on Graham's perjured testimony. Team Meek lays out the laundry list of allegations against Graham, including performing poorly on a polygraph test (not related to Meek) ... and stealing money from a crime scene.

The other part of the equation is Judge Brinkley, who Meek's team has called out for allegedly making inappropriate comments, including asking the rapper for a shout-out on a song he was doing with Nicki Minaj.

Meek's new docs include the Philly's D.A. statement that it's likely his conviction would be overturned. Basically, he's asking the PA Supreme Court ... what more do ya need to spring me?

Mark Salling had alcohol in his system when he hanged himself, and apparently took steps to evade authorities just prior to the suicide ... TMZ has learned.

According to the results of Salling's autopsy ... he had at least a 0.08% BAC -- which means he was just at the point of legal intoxication. The toxicology report also shows he was not on any other drugs.

The report describes the death scene -- Salling was hanging by a nylon rope which was tied to a branch a little over 6 feet above the ground. The coroner says it was wrapped around his neck five times.

The autopsy also notes Salling had attempted to kill himself months prior by cutting his wrists. His wrist incisions were about 2.5 centimeters and 6.5 centimeters on each hand, according to the coroner.

The last time the former "Glee" star was seen alive was with his father watching television at their family home at around 11:30 PM. His mother discovered he was missing right after midnight. Salling had ditched his ankle monitor and left it down the street from his house.

He was scheduled to meet with the probation officer in his child porn case the day he died.

Trey Songz surrendered to LAPD to face a felony domestic violence charge early Monday morning ... TMZ has learned.

The singer turned himself in, with his attorney Shawn Holley, for the alleged incident involving a woman he was out with in L.A. last month during NBA All-Star weekend. He was booked at 6 AM, and released shortly after 8 AM. He posted a $50,000 bond.

Songz is accused of brutally beating Andrea Buera at a Hollywood Hills party where she claims he was upset because she was talking to another man.

Right around the time he surrendered for booking, Songz tweeted, "I am being lied on and falsely accused for someone's personal gain."

Buera claims Songz beat her so badly, she suffered a concussion and had to go to a hospital for treatment. She claims several people at the party witnessed the alleged beating.

One of 2 women who came forward accusing Steven Seagal of sexual assault claims he raped her when she was in her late teens and took her virginity.

Regina Simons was flanked by her attorney, Lisa Bloom, at a news conference Monday when she claimed Seagal invited her to his home 25 years ago for what he called a "wrap party" for "On Deadly Ground." She claims no one else was there, and Seagal took her into a bedroom, kissed her neck and then raped her.

Regina added she'd never been naked in front of another man before, and when it was over ... she claims Seagal offered her money. The second accuser, Faviola Dadis, accused Seagal of sexually assaulting her when she was 17.

Faviola says the alleged assault happened in 2002 at Beverly Hills W Hotel. She claims Seagal pinched her nipples, slid his hand under her bikini and touched her vagina during an audition.

Bloom wouldn't say if they'll sue Seagal, but all legal options remain open. She added, she nor Regina and Faviola, have spoken to Seagal, but they've reported the incidents to LAPD.

This is the first time Regina and Faviola spoke about the alleged encounters, although it's not the first time Seagal's been accused of sexual misconduct. As we've reported ... Portia de Rossi claimed Seagal put her on a casting couch and unzipped his leather pants.

Charlie Sheen will not go to trial in his legal battle with the National Enquirer -- it appears both sides have reached a settlement in the defamation case.

Charlie sued the Enquirer late last year over a story it published, claiming he raped a then 13-year-old Corey Haim on the set of the 1980s movie, "Lucas." Charlie denied the story, and Corey's mother also said it was BS.

According to docs filed in L.A. late last week ... Charlie's lawyers are asking for the suit to be dismissed with prejudice -- meaning it can't be refiled. That's typically a sign that they've struck a deal. Sources familiar with the situation tell us no money changed hands -- but both sides were fully satisfied with the terms.

Rick Ross returned to the stage for the first time this weekend since his hospitalization, and one of his main orders of business was shouting out his locked up label mate, Meek Mill.

Da Boss performed early Sunday morning at The Light nightclub in Vegas in what appears to be the first show he's done since his heart-related health scare earlier this month.

We broke the story ... Ross was hospitalized in Florida after someone found him unresponsive at his home and "slobbing at the mouth." He was put on ECMO to facilitate respiratory and heart functions, and eventually got sent back home to recover.

Definitely looks like Rick is doing better -- he rapped through a few songs, drank from his double cup ... and, most importantly, led a chant demanding authorities #FreeMeekMill. The takeaway ... Renzel seems to be back to his old self, and he hasn't forgotten Meek.

Boyz II Men singer Shawn Stockman wants everybody to stop hating on Chris Brown ... stat.

We got Shawn Sunday at LAX, and asked him about Lil Dicky's music video for "Freaky Friday" ... where he wakes up as CB. The video also featured Ed Sheeran and Kendall Jenner, both of whom are getting some backlash for supporting Chris, a convicted abuser.

Aside from the 2009 Rihanna case -- where Chris got 5 years probation, 180 days community service and a year of counseling -- there were more recent allegations of abuse from his ex-gf, Karrueche Tran.

That's why ex-Jets star Mark Gastineau's life is in shambles -- so says his ex-wife, Lisa Gastineau.

We got the reality TV star leaving Craig's in L.A., and asked if she had heard Mark's recent radio interview ... where he painfully described how playing football has destroyed his mind and his body.

Lisa wasn't feeling ANY sympathy for her former boo -- saying it all comes down to the K-word. Guessing she still hasn't forgotten about Mark allegedly cheating on her with Brigitte Nielsen back in the day.

FYI -- 61-year-old Mark has previously said he's been diagnosed with dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's ... and now he's in the process of suing the NFL.

Tommy Lee's reached the point of no return -- even if he changes his mind about wanting his son, Brandon Lee, prosecuted for battery ... the case is headed to the D.A.'s office.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. is on the verge of wrapping up its investigation into the incident where Brandon punched his dad during an argument. Tommy claims he got sucker-punched, but Brandon says it was self-defense.

We're told Brandon's been cooperating throughout the investigation. Once the Sheriff kicks the case to the D.A.'s office, Brandon will find out what, if any, charges he's facing.

TMZ broke the story ... Tommy wants to go forward with a criminal complaint, and even got a restraining order against his son. Tommy's fiancee, Brittany Furlan, called 911 after the punch and said Brandon knocked Tommy unconscious.

Former "American Idol" contestant Chikezie Eze has a history of beating his estranged wife, Linda Iruke ... at least according to her, and now a judge is ordering him to stay away from Linda and their kids.

Linda filed docs, obtained by TMZ, saying she was forced to move to a domestic violence safe house in August "because of all the abuse." She says they've been separated since May 2017.

In the docs, Linda says Chikezie -- who finished 10th in season 7 -- once threatened, "Don't make me turn this car around and beat your ass." She says he also threatened to post nude photos of her on the Internet.

She claims the last straw came in January when Chikezie allegedly made a verbal threat. She's not specific about what was said, but says based on prior unreported domestic violence, she believes he's capable of carrying out the threat.

Linda requested, and was granted, a restraining order which requires Chikezie to stay at least 100 yards away from Linda, their kids, and her home and work location.

We've reached out to Chikezie ... so far, no word back.

Kathy Griffin has won a major battle in an ongoing war with her neighbor.

A judge just tossed out a request for a restraining order by KB Homes honcho Jeffrey Mezger, who wanted an order prohibiting Kathy from running audio on her security cameras. Griffin had caught Mezger on audio screaming epithets at her in the past.

Griffin also had her restraining order dismissed by the judge a few weeks ago, so presumably it's now between the 2 of them to try and strike a peace treaty. The original dispute was over noise.

Tomi Lahren's completely fed up with what she believes is an attempt to torpedo President Trump with "salacious garbage" stories.

We got the Fox News contributor at LAX Friday night and asked her about the ongoing scandal involving Stormy Daniels and the Prez ... and it set her off. Tomi tells us she's sick and tired of the nonsense ... because Americans have more important stuff to deal with.

Tomi also has a theory on why the media is even covering the "porn garbage" when it should be focusing on all the good things Trump has done ... and gives us a few examples.

As we reported ... Trump's lawyer fired back at Stormy Friday over breaching the infamous "hush" agreement, and wants to go after her for $20 million.

Aaron Hernandez was gay -- according to several people close to him ... and his private struggle with his sexuality caused him great emotional pain that may have turned him violent.

It's all part of the Oxygen documentary, "Aaron Hernandez Uncovered" -- which features interviews with Aaron's close friends, ex-girlfriends and members of his legal team.

Aaron's college girlfriend, Alyssa Anderson, says she first learned Aaron had a relationship with a man while they were attending the University of Florida ... but he denied it at the time. It was only years later that Hernandez cryptically acknowledged her suspicions were true.

George Leontire -- an openly gay member of Hernandez's defense team -- says he spoke with Hernandez at length about his sexuality and Aaron opened up like never before.

"This man clearly was gay," Leontire said ... "[He] acknowledged it. Acknowledged the immense pain that it caused him."

Leontire added, "I think that he also came out of a culture that was so negative about gay people that he exhibited some self-hatred."

Hernandez never spoke publicly about being gay. He was engaged to a woman, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez, and they had a daughter together.

Aaron was convicted of murdering Odin Lloyd in 2013 -- and there are some law enforcement officials who believe Hernandez executed Lloyd because he knew about Hernandez's sexuality.

Hernandez ultimately killed himself in his prison cell in 2017.

Lil Uzi Vert was supposed to co-star with Rick Ross on a summer show together, but instead they took the money and left fans hanging ... according to a lawsuit.

A Pennsylvania entertainment company just added Uzi as a defendant in the suit it filed against Rick. According to docs, both rappers were supposed to perform on June 10, 2017 at the minor league ballpark in PA. The company says it forked over about $200k to lock it down.

As we reported ... Rick bailed on the show, and the company says he showed really poor form by not canceling until 2 nights prior to the gig. According to the suit, Lil Uzi did the same.

Now Ross and Uzi are both being sued for the roughly $200k in deposit money, plus reimbursement for what was lost by the last-minute cancellation.

We reached out to both rappers ... no word back so far.

Tommy Lee still might not be over getting punched by his son ... but at least it looks like his face is back to normal.

The retired rock star was spotted out in Woodland Hills Friday -- with his fiancee Brittany Furlan -- for the first time since he was allegedly attacked by his son, Brandon, and left unconscious and bleeding on his bedroom floor. Tommy had a smoke in his car while Brittany hopped out with some paperwork.

We broke the story ... Tommy's looking to move forward with his criminal complaint against Brandon for battery -- at least for now.

As we reported ... Brandon insists he was acting in self-defense, claiming his dad was drunk and lunged at him during a heated argument over comments Tommy made about his mom, Pamela Anderson.
