DDG Busted for Wild Lambo Ride ... And Felony Gun Possession

Published | Updated
UPDATE

7:07 PM PT -- Update: DDG has been released on $35,000 bond and is expected in court on June 28th, 2022.

DDG may not be moonwalking in Calabasas for a while ... we've learned he got hauled off to jail for gun possession, but the arrest started with an alleged joyride.

Law enforcement sources tell us LAPD pulled over the 24-year-old rapper and YouTuber Monday for reckless driving. We're told he was cruising in a Lamborghini at the time.

Cops ended up searching the vehicle and say they found a gun, leading to his arrest for felony possession of a concealed weapon.

DDG -- who's dating singer/actress Halle Bailey -- is currently being held on $35,000 bond in Valley Jail. As of now, it's unclear if they'll ticket him for reckless driving or submit the incident with the gun charge.

We’ve reached out to DDG’s reps … we’ll let you know what we hear back.

'Tiger King' Star Doc Antle Indictment Unsealed ... Allegedly Laundered $500k+

Published | Updated
UPDATE

7:32 AM PT -- 6/7 -- Doc's attorney Ryan L. Beasley tells TMZ ... "The government appears to be grandstanding on the issue of bond because of all the media coverage.

UPDATE

"I have never in my 20 years of practicing federal law witnessed the government move for detention on a case such as this. He should have been offered something. Asking for Detention is inappropriate under the circumstances."

UPDATE

"The government agreed to an unsecured bond for one of the codefendants in this case who is facing the exact same penalties.  Codefendant: William “Bill” Dallas. He got a $75k unsecured bond."

UPDATE

"Doc has no criminal record, has lived in SC with his family for decades, and owns/operates a thriving business in SC that employs over 22 people on any given day. There is no reason to believe that he is a flight risk or danger to the community. This sounds like PETA pulling the strings of the DOJ."

Doc Antle has been mixed up with some shady business dealings involving huge sums of cash that crossed over into illegal territory -- at least according to federal prosecutors.

The 'Tiger King' star's federal indictment was unsealed Monday -- this after he was arrested by the FBI last week in South Carolina -- and his charges are spelled out clear as day. He's facing 2 money laundering counts ... and is accused of having laundered upwards of $500k with an employee/business partner of his who was in on the alleged plot.

Per the docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Doc and this employee, Andrew Sawyer, were soliciting people as early as 2019 to help launder money through a check-writing scheme in which they'd get cash upfront and write a check back to the person ... minus a fee for helping clean the money.

The feds allege Doc and Sawyer had a 15% washing fee ... and that the guys laundered around $505,000 between February and April of 2022. The FBI says they had 2 undercover informants working the case -- and claim to have tons of incriminating audio recordings and tapes of both men.

We'd already been told his bust had to do with alleged money laundering, but now we're getting the full breadth of the case -- and it's pretty insane. They make Doc sound like a regular white collar crook ... albeit one who lives in a lot of greenery.

As you know, Doc runs a wildlife preserve down in Myrtle Beach ... where he houses a ton of different animals in a zoo-like environment. Unfortunately for him, the operation there has also been the subject of much scrutiny since he was put on the map via 'Tiger King.'

In fact, Doc had previously faced criminal charges on the state level for alleged wrongdoing at the Myrtle Beach Safari -- Virginia's AG hit with an indictment of their own, alleging he was trafficking lion cubs across state lines ... which Doc denied at the time.

He's also gotten heat from PETA for letting celeb guests swing by and interact with the animals on a very personal level. Still, PETA never had any real power to make him change his practices.

Doc's due to show up in court on Monday to hear the charges against him -- although, it's unclear if he's going to enter a plea or not. The first count carries a max sentence of up to 20 years in prison.

DRINKS ON DRAKE

Drake is smoother than whiskey ... generously picking up the tab for two women from Detroit after swigging down a couple of shots with them!

In case you missed it, the 6 God went viral after schmoozing it up with a couple of ladies in the Motor City. We spoke with Brittney Keara, the woman who filmed the interaction, and she said Drake was as courteous as ever.

Brittney tells us Thursday she was enjoying happy hour with a friend at a local seafood restaurant when Drizzy strolled in with a couple of bodyguards.

We got new video of the interaction where Drake initially turns down Brittney's drink offer, saying he was heading to the airport for a flight ... but she says he ended up coming back to the bar and taking up the offer.

Brittney orders a shot of Jack, but tells us when the camera was off Drake upgraded her to a shot of Johnny Walker. Classy move. He also covered the tab.

We're told Drake explained he was in the city for business and chatted Brittney and her friend up with some friendly small talk. For what it's worth, Brittney made it clear she had a husband!!!

Bobby Shmurda Has Epic Night At Rangers Game ... Trolls Lightning Fan!!!

Published | Updated

"Hot Boy" rapper Bobby Shmurda was ice-cold to a Tampa Bay Lightning supporter during the New York Rangers game on Wednesday -- trollin' the fan by waving an NYR towel right in his face!

The hilarious moment happened during Shmurda's epic night at Madison Square Garden -- when the Brooklyn rapper was in the stands cheering his face off for the Rangers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Video shows Shmurda was gettin' his dance on ... and then he turned to a TB fan sittin' right behind him, and waved a "No Quit in New York" Rangers' towel in the guy's grill.

To his credit, the fan took the trollin' in stride -- responding with nothing more than a thumbs down.

Bobby had a hell of a night during the game in between going crazy for big plays -- taking a bunch of photos with fans both inside and outside of the venue.

ROWDY FOR THE RANGERS

TMZ Sports has learned this was Bobby's first-ever hockey game ... and he attended it after getting invited by Icy Ventures -- a talent management company (founded by Josh Stone and his brother Troy Stone as well as NHL agent John Osei-Tutu) whose focus is to bring hip-hop culture to the sport.

"Bobby’s energy could not be contained," Troy told us of Shmurda's night. "Fans were shocked to see such a high-profile rap artist in the building for a Ranger game."

"Bobby was so excited he started taunting the opposing team’s fans, which lead to a viral moment which the NHL has desperately needed."

Troy added, "The experience for Bobby couldn’t have gone better as he saw the Rangers win and got to witness a real NHL fight.”

Shmurda wasn't the only rapper at MSG ... Fat Joe also pulled up in his red and blue gear supporting the Rangers -- and they both went home happy, as the Rangers won easily, 6-2.

This is awesome!!!

USC basketball recruit Aaliyah Gayles graduated from Spring Valley High School this week ... just months after the hoops star was shot 10 times at a house party.

Gayles -- the no. 8 ranked player in the 2022 class -- held her diploma high after she made it across the stage in a wheelchair on Tuesday ... something her father, Dwight, says she worked her "tail off for."

"Words can't even describe the feeling I feel," Dwight told TMZ Sports on Wednesday.

CHEERING FROM THE CROWD

"It wasn't easy but she did it. I can't be more happy for her. God is good!"

Of course, this is a special moment for the family and Gayles ... after the 5-foot-9 guard was shot 10 times at a Las Vegas house party on April 16.

Despite the serious injuries, Dwight told us back in April that his 18-year-old daughter -- who committed to USC last August -- will still play basketball for the Trojans.

Her father also provided an update on her recovery ... saying, "It's going very well."

"Doing some physical therapy. Getting back to normal one day at a time. Baby steps."

In her last year of high school, Gayles averaged 13.8 points, 4.9 rebounds 3.5 steals and 3.3 assists per game ... leading the Grizzlies to the state tournament.

The 5-star recruit was also the first Vegas player to be named a McDonald All-American since 2010.

But, getting to go across the stage and receive her diploma has got to be her proudest moment.

Congratulations!!

Jussie Smollett First Film Since CHI Attack on The Way Mona Scott-Young and BET+ Standing By Him

Published

Jussie Smollett's new project will hit the streaming screen for his first time since the actor was allegedly attacked in Chicago ... and he's got a super-powerful Hollywood friend in his corner.

Jussie and Monami Productions head Mona Scott-Young were spotted out in NYC earlier this week. Sources with direct knowledge tell us the two met to discuss Smollett's upcoming "B-Boy Blues" -- which was announced will stream on BET+.

Mona tells TMZ, "“B-Boy Blues is a beautifully bold, funny, heartwarming bro-mance and I was thrilled to partner with Jussie to help this wonderful film gain greater exposure."

Believe it or not, Jussie had actually started work on the project prior to the 2019 hate crime hoax -- but it had been delayed for obvious reasons.

Our sources say Mona agreed to be involved in "B-Boy Blues" back when it first launched, and wanted to remain on through the end -- despite what Jussie had experienced personally.

We're told Mona has played a significant role in getting the movie onto BET+ and out to audiences for Jussie -- who directed and produced the project.

As for "B-Boy Blues" -- it's already won awards, including the Narrative Feature Fan Favorite Award at the 2021 American Black Film Festival -- and will be released as part of BET+'s Pride Month programming.

Of course, Jussie was sentenced and began serving a 5-month sentence behind bars back in March, but was released a week later while his legal team appeals. He had been found guilty on 5 of 6 felony counts against him, for lying to Chicago police about being the victim of a racist, homophobic attack.

Chris Jericho My Niece Was Brutally Beaten In Bullying Incident ... Wrestler Pleads For Help

Published | Updated

Chris Jericho says his niece was seen on video being brutally punched and kicked in the face last week ... and now, the wrestling superstar is pleading for officials to do something about it.

The AEW talent explained the situation on his Twitter page on Sunday night ... saying his niece has been "incessantly bullied" at her middle school in Florida "for months."

Jericho says the bullying took a violent turn just a few days ago ... when she was beaten up in a street.

In the clip Jericho shared to his social media, you can see a girl being socked in the face multiple times -- before she was continuously kicked and punched while bystanders looked on.

Jericho says despite his family's efforts to get officials involved, "nobody did anything to help" -- and he pleaded with school reps to "take action."

He added in a message to TMZ Sports that his niece is "physically ok. But, mentally she’s hurting."

"She's scared to go to school," the 51-year-old wrestler said. "This could've been avoided as the family approached the school a few times prior but nothing was done."

"We need to spread awareness so that the schools do a better job of protecting our kid's mental health and safety. ALL kids. Not just the ones with famous uncles."

We reached out to cops for comment, but they told us they have not been made aware of the situation.

We also reached out to a spokesperson for Hillsborough County Public Schools ... but so far, no word back yet.

"It's pretty exciting," Aztek said. "it'll be my first pair of shoes being worn in a major fight!"

This ain't the first time Rollie got customs kicks featuring Prince ... last year, Aztek painted the cover of the 1984 song, "Erotic City", on his Air Force 1s.

Prince -- who sold over 150 million records worldwide -- would be proud. RIP!

Nipsey Hussle The Marathon Continues ... Growing!!! Estate Drops Cannabis Doc

Published

Nipsey Hussle's family is making sure the cannabis empire he'd started to build still comes to fruition, despite his tragic death.

On Friday, the estate dropped a new documentary titled "The Marathon Cultivation" which chronicles the grind Nip and his brother Samiel Asghedom endured in creating their favored Marathon OG marijuana strain.

The doc also serves as the official announcement of the upcoming opening of their dispensary The Marathon (Collective), which opens on June 18 in Los Angeles.

TMZ Hip Hop attended the screening last week … Sam greeted the crowd, detailing some upcoming plans -- including getting Nip a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this summer.

All Money In artists J. Stone, Pacman da Gunman and BH -- along with some other family members -- were also at the event.

The 40-minute film features a well-placed cameo from Snoop Dogg, who sang the product's praises when Nipsey hand-delivered him a special package.

Nip was shot and killed on March 31, 2019, and his alleged killer's murder trial is set to begin on June 2.

According to legal docs, prosecutors in Osceola County, FL reviewed the May incident, and determined the case wasn't suitable for prosecution.

In the arrest report, Wave's GF accused him of bursting into their home, and choking her until she couldn't breathe because he thought she was talking to other men. The woman, who shares 2 kids with the "SoulFly" rapper, called cops, but Rod had left the scene by the time they arrived.

He was later pulled over and arrested, and even shared a cryptic video of himself surrounded by police cruiser lights.

Jorge Masvidal Allowed To Inspect Colby's Watch ... After 'Folex' Claims

Published | Updated

Jorge Masvidal will be allowed to inspect Colby Covington's watch to see if it's a phony Rolex ... the UFC star's attorney tells TMZ Sports a judge just granted their motion to see the timepiece up close.

Covington had alleged Masvidal banged up the watch -- which Colby says is worth around $95K -- during an attack in Miami last month ... but Jorge and his legal team say they have doubts it's a real Rolly.

In fact, Masvidal and his attorney, Bradford Cohen, were so skeptical ... they filed a motion earlier this month asking a judge to allow them to closely view it.

In the docs, Cohen said he believed the watch was a "Folex" composed of aftermarket and fraudulent parts -- and wasn't worth anywhere close to the $95K Colby said it was.

According to Cohen, a judge just granted the motion at a hearing on Thursday morning ... paving the way for Masvidal and the legal team to look at it soon.

As for the other motion, Cohen filed earlier this month -- the one in which they asked a judge to order Colby to submit to a physical exam following claims he suffered a "brain injury" in the alleged attack -- Cohen tells us a hearing regarding that motion has been set for a later date.

As we reported, Masvidal is facing felony charges of aggravated battery and criminal mischief after Covington told cops he injured him and scratched up his Rolex outside of Papi Steak on March 21.

Masvidal has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

42 Dugg Arrested No-Show for 6 Mo. Prison Sentence ... Could Get Years Now!!!

Published | Updated

42 Dugg's patented "Free Dem Boyz" slogan now applies to himself as well. The Detroit rapper -- who's signed with Lil Baby and Yo Gotti -- was reportedly arrested the moment he got off a plane from Memphis.

Dugg, whose government name is Dion Hayes, failed to turn himself in to a West Virginia federal prison camp last month to serve a 6-month sentence for illegal firearm possession ... according to The Detroit News.

The 27-year-old rising star, who was just named to XXL's 2021 Freshman list, hasn't exactly been living like a man on the run. In April, he released his joint album "Last Ones Left" with Collective Music Group labelmate EST Gee, and has been shooting plenty of music videos for it.

Like Pooh Shiesty -- who just got a 63-month sentence -- such legal drama could disrupt what was shaping up to be a promising rap career.

Dave Chappelle Attacker Catches a Break ... No Felony Charges

Published | Updated

Dave Chappelle's attacker seemingly committed a crime, but it won't be enough to charge him with a felony ... so says the district attorney.

The L.A. County D.A.'s Office made the announcement Thursday, saying they've turned the case over to the city attorney, adding, "After reviewing the evidence, prosecutors determined that while criminal conduct occurred, the evidence as presented did not constitute felony conduct."

Our LAPD sources tell us they pushed for a felony charge when they submitted their findings, but the D.A. clearly disagreed.  There has been a war brewing between the LAPD and L.A. County D.A. George Gascón, who has decided not to file charges in cases traditionally have been filed.

As we reported, Isaiah Lee was arrested and booked for assault with a deadly weapon after the attack. Law enforcement sources tell us he pointed a replica gun with a knife attached to the barrel at the comedian as he rushed the stage.

BOO'D AND BROKEN

Lucky for Dave, his team jumped into immediate action, restraining the attacker and pummeling him in the process.

The attacker was seen getting loaded into an ambulance shortly after the attack behind The Hollywood Bowl ... his face was badly damaged and his arm was apparently broken.

Christina Haack Fires Back at Ant ... I'm Not a Crappy Mom!!!

Published

Christina Haack wants everyone to know, she's NOT a bad mom -- despite what her ex-hubby, Ant Anstead, has claimed -- filing docs in hopes of poking holes in his allegations.

In legal papers, obtained by TMZ, Christina says despite what Ant has said, she sees their 2-year-old son much more than "9 full days each month." Christina also has an issue with the fact Ant believes she has essentially used their son for social media clout and sponsored posts.

Christina writes in her declaration, "I have never once commercialized, been paid to use, or used Hudson as a prop or a promotional tool for any television program or product." In fact, Christina claims, Ant's the one who uses Hudson for commercial gain ... she also includes some example posts from Ant to help support her point.

Christina also mentions Ant's concern she ingested hallucinogenic toad venom as an attempt, "to smear my good name and tarnish my image."

As for the COVID situation, where Ant says Christina returned Hudson to his care after her entire family had exposed the two-year-old to the disease ... Christina says she was the only person who actually had COVID, and was asymptomatic.

She tells the court there's no need for an emergency order to grant Ant full custody of Hudson ... and so far, the judge has agreed.

TMZ broke the story ... Anstead went OFF on Christina in docs filed Thursday -- accusing her of being an absent mother, putting Hudson at risk and not providing for him in necessary ways.

He also pointed to an example of Christina driving Hudson in a golf cart without a seatbelt as an example of her reckless behavior ... but Christina submitted a pic of Hudson wearing one around his waist.

At the time, Christina told us, "What Ant is doing deeply saddens me. If this was really about Hudson, as he says, this should have been handled privately with a private judge or mediation, as myself and my attorney have suggested. I have had my share of ups and downs but I am a good mom and I love my children with all my heart and I will always protect them."

The two are set to hash it out in a future hearing.

Reps for the Meme Agency, which represents Ms. Juicy Baby, tell TMZ ... she's stabilized in the ICU and her family is thankful for the fans' well-wishes -- they're asking supporters to keep her in their thoughts.

The cause of her hospitalization is currently unknown, but production sources tell TMZ, over the last 2 years, Ms. Juicy had been focusing on her health ... working out and eating healthy. The sources say as far as they know she had no serious health issues.

The self-appointed Queen of Atlanta took the reality series by storm with her catchphrases like "Jesus Take the Wheel," and "It's Ms. Juicy Baby." Her viral moments have blown up online, with countless memes being created from her famous clips.

As you know, a big brawl went down in February of 2020 with cast members Amanda and Andrea ganging up on Abria ... Ms. Juicy tried to act as the peacemaker, but that went to hell pretty fast.

She ended up getting sent to the hospital as a bloody mess with a big gash -- she needed some stitches and a CAT scan. The fight appeared as part of the show the following year.

Ms. Juicy was close friends with Ashley "Minnie" Ross, who tragically died in a car crash in 2020 ... Minnie was 34 years old.
