Diddy's former President of Bad Boys Records, Harve Pierre, is slamming the gang rape lawsuit that named him as a defendant ... and he's telling us he won't stand for his name being sullied.

In a new statement obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Pierre says, "This is a tale of fiction. I have never participated in, witnessed, nor heard of anything like this, ever. These disgusting allegations are false and a desperate attempt for financial gain."

He continues, "I will vigorously protect my reputation and defend my name. Those who know me recognize that these claims are not true."

Pierre stands accused of enticing a Detroit minor back in 2003 into hopping on a private jet to hang with him and Diddy for a NYC recording session ... where she claims the men sexually assaulted her in the studio bathroom.

The suit also claims Pierre sat back and smoked crack cocaine from a Pepsi can as the assaults took place. The details alleged by the Jane Doe accuser are heinous and vicious ... but Pierre adamantly denies any of it is true.

Diddy has maintained his innocence throughout the multiple lawsuits he's faced -- including the one he quickly settled with ex-girlfriend Cassie in November.

DJ Quik was honored as part of Los Angeles radio station KDay's 40th celebration last night -- and he made sure the audience could smell the flowers he was getting, reminding them of all the iconic tracks he's produced for other artists!!!

TMZ Hip Hop got this video of Quik performing Thursday night in L.A., where he put on a brave face for the crowd — he and his family buried his brother Gerald Ray earlier in the day -- but the original Bompton rapper explained why his late sibling would understand.

Quik had his son David Blake Jr. spin through a barrage of his personal hits, along with tracks he lent any bit of studio time to get 'em done -- 2Pac and Snoop Dogg's "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted," Kendrick Lamar's "King Kunte" and 50 Cent's "If I Can't" ... to name just a handful of the classic he played.

He also showed love to YG's super platinum "My Hitta" single -- which Quik says he engineered and recorded but never officially got credit for doing it.

Tha Dogg Pound helped Los Angeles fill in the gaps after the city's faced criticism for lacking Hip Hop 50th celebrations -- but Kurupt and Daz Dillinger were front and center for KDAY's 40th anniversary!!!

The iconic L.A. radio station pioneered the city's rap movement and DPG's admitted, over the years, they owe KDAY big time.

Unlike other Death Row artists back in the day, they didn't have major-label distribution, but their 1995 project, "Dogg Food," still became the first indie rap album to top the Billboard 200 chart.

We got footage of their performance last night ... the West Coast duo appeared lively as they and DJ Battlecat ripped through familiar tracks such as "Who Ride Wit Us" and "Cali Iz Active."

All that West Coastness brought out the ultimate fan in Luenell, who was in the front row rapping along line for line with DPG!!!

She later threw on her Nipsey Hussle jacket and posed for pics with the crew backstage -- nothing but big pimpin' baby!!!

Some of Tom Petty's personal items, which recently hit auction, have been returned to the late musician's family ... after claims many of the pieces were stolen.

In a joint statement from Tom's family and RR Auction, they say, "All concerns regarding the recent offering of personal clothing and items of the rock star have been resolved without litigation."

The Petty family says it's grateful the auction house "facilitated the safe return of the items" -- which they add have been returned to the family's "secure archives" ... and say they don't think RR Auction knowingly committed any wrongdoing.

What's more, the family's showing gratitude by allowing some items to actually be auctioned off -- noting they fully support the upcoming sale, which has lots to offer like Tom's hats, jackets, and signed photos.

As we reported, Tom's fam said in May that the products being put up for auction were stolen, coming from the singer's former home in Encino, CA -- and his family was looking into "pursuing swift legal action" against RR Auction.

Kevin Costner is apparently rebounding after his split from Christine Baumgartner because he and Jewel are now a thing ... sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ.

These pics were shot on Richard Branson's Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands ... where the 2 of them were part of a tennis fundraiser for the Inspiring Children Foundation. Jewel is the founder of the org, and Kevin was a guest.

Here's what we know. The 2 flew to the Caribbean together and hung out a lot for more than a week. As one source put it, "There was definitely something going on. They were flirty, and when they were together, it was like they both just lit up."

One source added, "You could tell they were trying to be discreet, but anybody who saw them could tell something was going on."

Jewel had mentioned Kevin on social media, talking about the event, writing ... "it's an incredible time, and one I use to relax, rest and play w my son! @kevincostnermodernwest was kind enough to mentor our kids this year."

They played doubles with Sir Richard, who, as she says, "plays a mean game!"

We're told the 2 also flew back together.

As we reported, Kevin, 68, recently settled his bitter divorce from Christine after 18 years of marriage. Jewel, 49, split from her husband Ty Murray, back in 2014. One source told us Jewel is "picky," adding, "She wants a good man, and Kevin fits the bill."

Our sources say the relationship is "rather new," but everything we're hearing is that they are definitely a thing.

Common and Jennifer Hudson are talking about a powerful, romantic, soulful collab -- not necessarily a wedding, at this point -- but musically, he'd love to make something together.

The topic came up last night as Common pulled up at LAX, where a photog asked him about the odds of his GF and him hitting the studio anytime soon.

Common says the chances are high, but he's not willing to say exactly when -- he approaches music like relationships ... the records have to happen organically!!!

Keanu Reeves' home has once again been targeted ... law enforcement sources say burglars in ski masks broke into his place and fled the area before officers arrived.

We're told the actor's L.A. home was burglarized Wednesday evening ... with LAPD responding to an anonymous call about a possible trespasser at his property at around 7 PM. Cops arrived on the scene, and conducted a search, but found no one.

But, we're told police were back there again around 1 AM when an alarm sounded on the property ... and this time officers say multiple men in ski masks were spotted on security cams smashing a window and entering the house.

According to our sources, the culprits took one firearm from the home before making a run for it. It's unclear if anything else was taken, but Keanu was not home at the time.

Detectives are still looking at videos from the home and around the neighborhood for more clues. We're told one thing they're specifically looking into is whether the first call to cops was made by someone scoping the house.

The 'John Wick' star's home has been at the center of similar attempts in the past ... with two back-to-back intruders in 2014 -- and he was also granted a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker who he says showed up at his home earlier this year.

Witnesses at the season 2 premiere Wednesday night of Amazon's "Hollywood Houselift with Jeff Lewis" tell TMZ ... the "RHOC" star held onto a clear cup filled with water as she mingled in a crowd of more than 100 guests at the Sunset Tower Hotel.

They also say Shannon seemed to be in great spirits, with no man in tow ... only her girlfriends.

Remember, we broke the story ... Shannon vowed to get some treatment following her DUI bust in Sept.

She was arrested over an alleged drunken car ride ... zipping through a Newport Beach residential area before crashing into the property, which was all caught on surveillance footage.

Cops booked her on 2 misdemeanors, and sources close to Shannon told us she was taking responsibility and accountability for her arrest by enrolling in an outpatient behavioral wellness program with an alcohol component.

Post Malone has become so synonymous with the Dallas Cowboys -- he's now joined the famed "88 Club" group text that includes Drew Pearson, Michael Irvin, Dez Bryant and CeeDee Lamb!!!

Pearson revealed the eyebrow-raising fact to TMZ Sports this week ... saying Post has demonstrated so much love to Dallas over the past few years that he and other Cowboys legends have now opened their arms -- and their text messages -- to the "Congratulations" crooner.

It's, of course, a huge deal ... because the "88 Club" has long been limited to Dallas players who have starred while wearing jersey No. 88 -- and only those players.

But, Pearson explained Post has just become that good of a friend and that big of a fan.

"Our honorary guy on the '88 Club' is Post Malone," Pearson said.

Pearson then told us Post actually chimes in on their group chat during games ... saying, "You know he's going crazy!" while watching the action on his TV screen.

"He's on the group text with us," Pearson reiterated. "He's a big fan."

Post has professed his love for the Cowboys for years -- but most recently, he's really kicked things up a notch. In October, he opened up a Dallas-themed Raising Cane's ... and a month later, he helped design a Cowboys clothing line as well.

The divorce drama between Iman Shumpert and Teyana Taylor is heating up ... he's now calling BS on her claim he made her feel endangered when she was with him.

According to court documents, obtained by TMZ, Shumpert says Teyana never proved he made her feel endangered, despite making the claim in recently filed divorce papers. Iman wants the court to take action, and to remove Teyana's accusations from the documents.

To get specific, Teyana put something called "cruel treatment" as grounds for the couple's divorce, which is defined as "willful infliction of pain bodily or mental ... [that] reasonably justifies apprehension of danger to life, limb, or health."

Iman says that's nonsense, and the only grounds should be "irretrievable broken bond." He wants the "cruel treatment" grounds thrown out.

What's more, Iman says despite Teyana's claims, he's never been irresponsible when it comes to the care of their two daughters, seven-year-old “Junie” Tayla, and three-year-old Rue Rose.

The new filing from Iman is just another chapter in what's already become a nasty custody battle. As we reported, Teyana first filed the divorce docs using only the couple's initials in an attempt to keep everything private from the public.

However, Iman blew the lid off the secret when he filed a motion asking the court to attach their full names to the documents ... and allowing the public to know what was going on.

Forest and Keisha tied the knot back in 1996 after meeting on the set of the 1994 film, "Blown Away" ... their other daughters are 27-year-old Sonnet and 32-year-old Autumn.

In an interview with Ebony years ago, Keisha said of Forest, “I had seen him in ‘A Rage in Harlem,'" and “Right away, I thought Forest had a gentle soul and a nice spirit.”

It was back in 2018 when Forest filed for divorce from Keisha after more than 20 years of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.

Keisha was only 51.

"Succession" star Alan Ruck might be out of the woods with cops for his pizza shop truck crash, but he's being dragged to court by the driver of one of the vehicles he collided with before driving through a building.

According to a lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Horacio Vela says he was stopped at a red light at the intersection of Hollywood Blvd and La Brea Ave Halloween night. Vela claims Ruck was waiting directly behind him in his 2023 Rivian truck in the line of traffic.

Without warning, Vela says Ruck slammed into the back of his Hyundai while the light was still red, pushing him into oncoming traffic and causing Vela to collide with another vehicle.

As we reported ... Ruck's vehicle continued on, slamming into Raffalo's pizza and causing significant damage.

Vela says he suffered, "severe injuries and damages" as a result of the crash ... and was immediately taken to the hospital by ambulance to get checked out.

While he doesn't get specific ... Vela also states the crash left him with "property damage, costs of past and future medical care, pain and suffering, mental anguish, emotional distress, and other consequential damages."

Video from the crash showed Ruck's Rivian accelerate without warning while it was stopped at a red light, cops say he was not under the influence of any drugs or alcohol ... and chalked the whole thing up to an accident.

We got Ruck out following the crash, but he didn't say much.
