Kanye West's father, Ray West, is battling cancer ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to Ray tell us he's been diagnosed with prostate cancer -- not stomach cancer as has been widely reported. We're told Kanye dropped everything to help his dad upon hearing the news.

Ray is currently being treated in L.A., and sources say he's responding well. We're being told that, for now, it looks like he's going to be okay.

The diagnosis comes just over 10 years after the death of Kanye's mother, Donda, to whom he was very close and whose death helped trigger his mental breakdown in 2016.

Ye and his pops were spotted grabbing lunch at Nobu Malibu in March ... a rare sighting of the father and son together.

XXXTentacion's memory was alive and well this weekend in Florida after 2 of his contemporaries brought his mother onstage to pay tribute to the slain MC.

Lil Pump and Smokepurpp were performing Saturday night in Miami for the Lit Up Music Festival, when at one point they brought out a surprise guest ... X's mom, Cleopatra Bernard. She came out flashing an 'X' sign with her arms and received a huge round of applause.

The rappers played X's hit song, "SAD!," over the loudspeakers and let the track run mostly uninterrupted. It was an emotional moment for sure as Cleo maintained her 'X' stance.

As we've reported ... a third suspect, Robert Allen, was arrested last week in connection to X's killing in June. A grand jury indicted him for first degree murder and armed robbery.

We got the former light heavyweight champ out at LAX and he told us now that his days in the Octagon are done ... he wants a career in movies.

Of course ... he's already gotten started on that dream -- playing a role in Mel Gibson's upcoming flick, "Boss Level."

But, Rashad's got his eyes on a bigger prize ... and it includes possibly playing a relative of Rod Tidwell himself.

She's only a few days old, but Lonzo Ball's brand new baby girl already has a job -- she's going to work for LaVar's new BABY BALLER BRAND ... so says the Big Baller himself.

We spoke with LaVar Ball at his BBB pop-up shop at Sole Play in Atlanta where he told us he's happy to be a grandpa -- but he ONLY goes by that title at Lonzo's home.

Otherwise, he only wants to be known as "The Big Baller CEO in the mix."

Our photog suggested LaVar launch a baby line to cater to the new kid, but Ball said he's already got a newborn line in the works and, as soon as Baby Ball is ready, "she's a worker."

Shareef O'Neal knows it's hard following in his NBA superstar dad's footsteps ... but says Bronny James is thriving under that same spotlight ... sharing a touching message to LeBron's oldest son.

ICYMI -- LBJ recently revealed he regrets naming Bronny after himself because of all the pressure that comes with it ... admitting it was an overreaction to not having his own father growing up.

Shaq's son reflected on Bronny's journey so far on Thursday ... praising Bronny for dealing with the heat like a pro at just 13 years old.

"Bronny ... One kid I can relate to a lot ... we both kind of have it the same way , being the son of an NBA legend isn’t easy and to get all of this at a young age is a real challenge to adjust to."

Shareef says he struggled with the hate when he was Bronny's age ... admitting he'd sometimes choke when getting heckled. But, he makes it clear the Lakers superstar's son seems poised enough to tune out the negativity.

Tina Turner did what no parent should ever have to do ... bid a final goodbye to their child when she spread her son's ashes off the California coast.

The legendary singer posted this tweet early Friday morning and said, "My saddest moment as a mother. On Thursday, July 19, 2018, I said my final goodbye to my son, Craig Raymond Turner, when I gathered with family and friends to scatter his ashes off the coast of California."

She went on to say, "He was fifty-nine when he died so tragically, but he will always be my baby."

As we first reported, Tina's firstborn son, who was in the real estate business, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his home in Studio City, CA on July 3, 2018.

Cardi B's baby is her number one priority right now, and because of that ... she's canceling her Bruno Mars' tour gig this fall.

Cardi just made the announcement, saying she thought 6 weeks would be enough time for her to recover mentally and physically after giving birth to her baby girl ... but she "underestimated this whole mommy thing."

She adds she thought she'd be able to bring Kulture on tour, but doctors told her it's not healthy for her baby to be on the road ... and she's not ready to leave her behind.

Cardi says it's been the hardest decision to make, but thanked Bruno for his support and understanding.

Bruno replied to Cardi with a heartfelt message, saying, "You are absolutely doing the right thing," adding, "We love you Cardi and we will play Bodak Yellow every night in your honor."

Nancy Grace thinks the lack of self-control and recklessness shown by Jenelle Evans during a fit of road rage could land her in legal hot water ... and even cost her her child.

We got the 'Crime Stories' host at LAX and asked for her take on the "Teen Mom 2" star whipping out a gun in her car with her 8-year-old son beside her. Nancy blasts Jenelle for putting her child in danger ... and believes it might lead to criminal charges and her kid being taken away.

And, much like the other driver in the road rage incident ... Grace says the situation could have been much worse, and it's ridiculous Jenelle didn't use better judgment as a parent.

Jacksonville Jaguars training camp opens up on Thursday -- but Jalen Ramsey won't be there ... because he'll be taking care of his newborn baby!!!

The 23-year-old star cornerback just broke the news ... essentially telling his squad he won't report to camp until he feels mom and baby are healthy enough to be on their own.

Model Karlie Kloss is down for the count ... she's engaged to Jared Kushner's baby brother, Joshua.

The face of Estée Lauder and Adidas announced Tuesday she said "yes a million times over" after Joshua popped the question. The 25-year-old model and the 33-year-old entrepreneur have been dating for around 6 years.

Joshua, of course, broke ranks back in March when he joined hundreds of thousands at the nation's capitol advocating for gun control. Karlie was also at that march. Joshua, whose brother Jared is a Trump senior adviser, also attended the Women's March in January 2017.

Unclear how Karlie and her soon-to-be sister-in-law Ivanka Trump will get along -- especially after Karlie said she voted for Hillary Clinton -- but one thing's for sure ... safe to say Karlie and Joshua won't argue about politics.

Cardi B is joining the chorus in the rap community over Offset's arrest and subsequent gun charges -- calling it a targeted attack from the hip-hop cops ... and vowing to stick with her man no matter what.

Sources close to the "I Like It" rapper tell us she's squarely in her husband's corner regarding his recent Georgia arrest, for which he was booked on two felony gun charges. We're told she's been echoing Offset's lawyer's claim that he was pulled over for doing nothing more than being a rich, successful black rapper.

Our Cardi sources say she's also been doubling down on what the attorney told us ... that the guns found by police did not belong to Offset, adding he doesn't own any firearms. We're told she doesn't believe he broke any laws.

We broke the story ... police say they pulled Offset over for crossing a double yellow line, but his attorney, Drew Findling, says that was just a bogus excuse to bust him. Cardi agrees.

Oh, and get this ... sources say Cardi's been telling friends she wouldn't leave Offset even if he were sentenced to prison.

Offset's been charged with two felony gun charges as well as some misdemeanors, so the possibility of jail time is certainly there on paper.

Bindi Irwin ushered in her 20th year of existence on this Earth celebrating at HER happiest place on Earth ... the zoo!!

Steve Irwin's daughter was all smiles celebrating her birthday Tuesday at the Australia Zoo. She posed in front of a pretty cool cake and next to her little brother, Robert, and her mom, Terri. And just like her 18th birthday celebration, this bash, too, was a total croc!!

Juelz Santana enjoyed a little QT with his daughter this weekend ... starting with a manicure/pedicure but not before a judge signed off on it.

The rapper -- who is under house arrest following an airport gun bust in March -- requested permission from a judge to leave his house so he could spend the day with his daughter, Bella, for her birthday.

It's interesting ... we haven't seen court records where a judge sets specific times on when a house arrestee can get his nails done, shop at American Girl Place and then attend a birthday party ... but, that's exactly what these docs lay out.

In docs, obtained by TMZ, Juelz's day started at 10 AM Saturday for manicures/pedicures at a nail salon in Englewood, NJ. Dad and daughter later hit up the American Girl Place in Manhattan at 2 PM presumably to spoil Bella with a fancy doll. They were then off to a family member's house in Totowa, NJ where they partied from 6 PM until 10 PM.

TMZ cameras were rolling when Pam and Adil pulled up to The Ivy Sunday in Bev Hills and witnessed the first official introduction between Adil and Pam's mom, Carol. Pam beamed with pride introducing Adil, who looked dapper even in a t-shirt.

Sharon Tate's sister, Debra Tate, has had a change of heart over Quentin Tarantino's upcoming flick about the Manson Family ... after a face-to-face with the director.

Debra tells TMZ ... Quentin reached out to her to break the ice and address her concerns over his project -- "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" -- and was able to arrange a meeting recently.

Debra says she voiced her concerns and he heard her out, then explained the movie's plot ... which made her feel much better. She says she now believes Tarantino has honorable intentions ... "This movie is not what people would expect it to be when you combine the Tarantino and Manson names."

Debra's also pleased with the movie's new release date, which was bumped up 2 weeks in 2019 so it no longer coincides with the 50th anniversary of the murders ... which she thought was "tacky and exploitative."

She still has reservations, though ... but says she's going to meet with Quentin again to read the script and hash it out. But, she's on board for now ... even enough to see the flick.

The film stars Margot Robbie, Leo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt and is about a TV actor and his stunt double trying to make a name for themselves in Hollywood. Tarantino has publicly called it a movie about 1969, not just Charles Manson.
