Ole Miss vs. LSU Women's Soccer Punches Thrown During Wild Fight ... Three Players Ejected

Published

All hell broke loose during Ole Miss and LSU's women's soccer match on Sunday ... with players throwing punches before getting ejected.

The madness unfolded during the second overtime of the close match ... when LSU's Maya Gordon and Ole Miss' Ramsey Davis were trying to gain possession of the ball ... and Gordon took issue with Davis grabbing her by the waist in defense.

That's when fists started to fly -- Gordon and Davis threw a series of punches at one another, with some shots appearing to connect with their intended target.

Unfortunately, that wasn't the end -- LSU player Rammie Noel sprinted across the pitch to insert herself into the fracas ... seemingly dragging Davis down to the ground by her hair.

Coaches were able to restore some semblance of order ... but Gordon, Davis, and Noel all received red cards and were ejected from the match for their actions.

Cameras showed a visibly upset Gordon crying as she exited the field ... while being consoled by what appears to be an LSU staffer.

In the end, the Tigers lost 3-0 ... and all three involved players reportedly received one-game suspensions.

Uriah Hall Advises Le'Veon Bell To Keep Boxing ... Ignore The Haters!!!

Published

Despite losing in the ring on Saturday, Uriah Hall is advising Le'Veon Bell to continue fighting, telling the former NFL star to ignore the haters telling him to quit!

If you missed it ... Bell -- who last played for the Bucs and Ravens in 2021 -- fought the ex-UFC star on the Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva card at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

Bell and Hall went at it for four founds ... and Le'Veon lost by unanimous decision.

The trolls went after Bell following the loss, saying the sport of boxing is way out of the running back's league ... but Hall hopes Bell ignores the haters.

"Don’t you dare listen to the naysayers," Hall said on Sunday in a IG post, "and don’t you dare give up on your dreams."

"Only dare to do great things 👊🏿"

Bell thanked the former middleweight MMA fighter for the advice and for getting in the ring with him for his first professional fight.

"It was truly an honor to share the ring with you bro," the 3-time Pro Bowler said, "nothin but the upmost respect from me ✊🏾 true class, elite fighter, even better person 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾"

GONNA BE A CHAMP

This loss for Bell surely doesn't mean his pro boxing career is over ... in fact, Bell told us his goal is to ultimately become a champion.

"Honestly, I'm trying to be the best, Bell told us last week, "I wanna be a champion at some point."

We're rooting for you, Le'Veon!!!

IT'S ALL LOVE

Diddy's ultimate transformation into Heath Ledger's Joker this Halloween was so well done, his antics almost baited an actor into fighting him on the street!!!

The Bad Boy Records mogul was making his rounds in Los Angeles over the weekend ... when he almost came to blows with actor Michael J. Ferguson, who plays "2Bit" in 50 Cent's "Power" series.

You can see things get tense between the two, though it's unclear what the problem is. Michael is surrounded by plenty of Diddy's entourage, some of who are wearing the same clown masks as Joker's henchman from "The Dark Knight" ... but Michael doesn't back down.

Diddy cackles like a madman and it appears Michael doesn't recognize him, but challenges him to step. Finally, Diddy breaks character ... revealing his real voice ... causing Michael to laugh and the two men to embrace as cooler heads prevail.

Diddy invited Michael to cool off further at his after-party ... as he's all about spreading "love" these days ... much like his interaction with Tyler, The Creator earlier in the evening.

Tyler called Diddy's performance "next-level" ... mirroring reactions from the likes of Tamar Braxton, who 👑 him king of Halloween, to his own son Quincy, who couldn't believe the entire fight almost happened!!!

Blueface's GF Chrisean Rock Takes Back DV Claims ... Blames Herself

Published | Updated
UPDATE

12:54 PM PT -- Chrisean Rock is reversing course, taking back her claims of an attack at the hands of Blueface and now saying she was "on a bad trip" ... and that he actually rescued her.

UPDATE
Chrisean Rock Insta
EVERYBODY'S FINE
UPDATE

Chrisean says she blacked out and was trying to jump out of their car on the highway, and that Blueface was pulling her back into safety. She also says she was the one hitting him. In other words, she's completely changing her tune on what happened here.

Blueface's girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, appears to have accused him of domestic violence -- capturing the alleged aftermath on camera ... and it echoes of Rihanna and Chris Brown.

CR started an Instagram Live Saturday night that shows her breaking down and complaining following some sort of altercation she says went down in the car -- one she alleges resulted in her getting hit in the face, and being left bloodied.

Chrisean never points the camera at whoever it is she's talking to, and never really names anyone specific either ... but based on the voice on the other end and the back and forth they're having on Twitter right now -- it seems to be Blueface whom she claims did this.

The footage is upsetting ... Chrisean is visibly shaken and cries at multiple points in her clips -- which have since been scrubbed from her page. She tells the man she's talking to that he's "too comfortable" and alleges he struck her because she was texting another guy.

At one point, Chrisean defends herself against somebody accusing her of being suicidal. Sounds like she might've tried exiting the vehicle as it was moving after whatever happened ... but she insists she isn't, and just wanted to remove herself from the sitch.

Chrisean posted a photo showing off alleged injuries that she claims she sustained from this -- including a busted lip, bloody nose and a black eye. She's deleted that post too, though.

We've called around L.A. to see if any police reports were taken over this or if anyone was arrested -- but neither appears to have happened yet. On the bird app, Blueface and Chrisean are chirping at each other ... with Chrisean repeating lines she mentioned in the video, including calling Blueface a "weird ass n****," among other cryptic tweets about anger.

As you can imagine, a lot of her fans are devastated over this ... believing she may be the victim of DV and pleading with her to report this and, more importantly, to leave Blueface.

8/2/22
LATE NIGHT FIGHT

Violence has erupted between and around them several times before ... which is exactly why Lizzo's costume of Chrisean was found not to be funny by many. Namely, a good amount of folks believe she's on a dangerous life path with this guy ... and encouraging/mocking their toxic behavior (even in jest) isn't the move, especially by a mainstream celeb.

Ditto for a reality show documenting their obviously turbulent life together. We've reached out to Blueface's camp ... they had no comment.

Jake Paul I'm 6-0, Bro!!! ... Beats Silva, Calls Out Diaz, Canelo

Published | Updated

Jake Paul just went toe-to-toe with former UFC champion Anderson Silva -- and WON -- coming away with his hand raised in an incredibly impressive bout on Saturday.

The Problem Child and Spider beat each other up for eight rounds ... but neither fighter could finish with a knockout.

Jake, however, had the lone knockdown of the fight in the 8th round ... after a short right to Silva's head.

Paul got the dub via unanimous decision in Phoenix ... and now the former YouTuber-turned-superstar says he wants to go up against Canelo Alvarez or Nate Diaz.

Jake grabbed the mic after the win ... saying Diaz is a b*tch and he'd love to add him to his list of victims.

He also went after Canelo ... saying he wants a piece of the boxing champ, too.

But when it came to Silva, the two showed nothing but respect for each other after the fight ... with Jake explaining how much Anderson has meant to him over the years.

Jake gave a message to the haters, too ... saying people will always find a reason to doubt him.

The fight was insanely close -- but ultimately, Jake landed more significant punches.

Jake Paul -- 6-0.

Whether you like it, or not.

Jimmy Uso clearly believes another Johnson is going to be dominating in WWE rings for a long, long time ... telling TMZ Sports after seeing The Rock's daughter make her debut this week, he's convinced she's going to be a STAR.

Simone Johnson made her first-ever mark in a WWE ring on Tuesday ... revealing herself as "Ava Raine" on NXT and cutting a promo that had the crowd in attendance going wild.

Uso told us out at LAX this week that he was blown away by the 21-year-old's chops ... saying he thinks it won't be long before she's a household name just like Dad.

"The sky is the limit," Jimmy said. "She's got the workhorse in her like we all do. It runs deep in the blood, and I'm excited for her future."

"I can't wait to see where this takes her."

Uso says if/when she gets called up from NXT to the main roster ... he'll have no issues taking her under his wing -- because, after all, they are basically family.

"Anyway the family can get it, I'm all for it," said Jimmy, who wrestles in a group called "The Bloodline" with his brother, Jey, and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, who is Dwayne Johnson's cousin. "I'm ready to see what she can do. I'm ready for her to pop off and represent the bloodline."

"We are all family. We all look out for her. She has the whole squad side on her side."

Kamaru Usman I Wanna Fight Edwards In London In Early 2023 Crowd Will Be On My Side!!

RUN IT BACK IN 2023

Kamaru Usman is planning to fight Leon Edwards in early 2023 -- in the Brit's home country -- but the Nigerian Nightmare ain't concerned about going into enemy territory ... 'cause he says the crowd will actually be on his side.

"I would love to go to England and do this in England," Usman told Babcock when they sat down for the "TMZ Sports" TV show (airs weeknights on FS1), adding, "I gotta lot of fans in England, a lot of my Africans, a lot of my Jamaican fans in England so I think it only makes sense."

Lots of fans in England ... as in, the crowd will be split 50/50, we asked.

"No, I think I have more fans in there than he would but it is what it is, going to the UK, doesn't matter. They don't help you fight. You gotta fight me. You gotta fight the Nigerian Nightmare when you're in there so that doesn't really make a difference for me," 35-year-old Usman said.

Of course, Kamaru lost his title to 31-year-old Edwards at UFC 278 in August. Usman was cruising, on his way to a relatively painless title defense ... that's until Rocky landed a perfectly placed head kick that turned the lights off for the champ.

Prior to the loss, Usman won 19 fights in a row ... many against the UFC's best, including Colby Covington (twice), Jorge Masvidal (twice), and many others. He also previously beat Edwards in late 2015.

After the fight, the internet did what the internet does ... and there were memes galore. Usman handled the loss graciously.

"I started wrestling in high school and I lost a lot until I started winning. Then I went to college wrestling and then I lost until I did win and then I started fighting, then I lost and started winning," Kamaru says, making the point ... everyone loses. It's how you bounce back.

And, after over 20 minutes of fighting this summer, Usman says both he and Edwards know who's the superior fighter.

"Leon and I know who the best welterweight in the world is."

Conor McGregor, Tommy Fury, Nate Diaz, KSI ... Logan Paul?!?!

Jake Paul says he'd actually consider going to war with his own blood in the boxing ring after he beats up on Anderson Silva on Saturday ... telling TMZ Sports he's ready to set up some MASSIVE fights.

Of course, the Problem Child and Spider will be squaring off in the ring in Phoenix just hours from now ... but we couldn't help but ask who he's eyeing after this weekend's big event.

Paul says there will be people lining up to fight him after he comes away with the W ... and if his brother, Logan, ends up being one of them, Jake says he'd entertain the idea!!

"Heck, I could fight Logan Paul," Jake said. "Why not?"

Now, Jake and Logan's mom has previously been adamantly against it ... but as both guys continue their own respective careers, fans have been dying to see it.

TALE OF THE TAPE

Jake is 5-0 -- potentially 6-0 after Saturday night -- but Logan has yet to win in a pro fight. He did go up against Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout, though ... and folks were impressed with how he was able to hold his own.

Can we set this up already!?!?

Anderson Silva Cleared to Fight Jake Paul After 'Knockout' Scandal ... Boxing Commission Says

Published

Anderson Silva's fight with Jake Paul is still on -- the MMA legend has been cleared to compete in the boxing match, an Arizona athletic commission ruled Thursday night.

The big last-minute meeting was called after the website MMA Weekly posted an interview with Silva ... where the 47-year-old MMA G.O.A.T. admitted to being "knocked out" twice during a training session before the fight.

Anderson, who speaks English as a second language, quickly issued a statement saying he inadvertently used "knockout" instead of "knockdown." He also revealed the interview was almost 2 weeks old, despite just being released this week.

The Commission could've pulled Silva's license at any time ... so the meeting was a huge deal not just for Anderson.

Chairman Scott Fletcher said he was "completely comfortable" letting Silva fight ... after coming away satisfied with how well Anderson spoke when answering questions.

Commissioner Dr. Ara Feinstein, who's also a surgeon and ringside physician, reviewed Silva's neurological report and MRI, and saw no issues with the results.

"I was NEVER knocked out in sparring," Silva told us after the scandal broke, continuing ... "I misspoke in that interview as I sometimes do when interviewing in English and exaggerated the normal back-and-forth action that occurs in sparring."

"This sparring session I referenced was in early September. The interview with MMA Weekly was done on Sept. 13 and, for some reason, just released this week. So, it wasn't recent."

Meanwhile, Paul didn't seem phased by the meeting, saying he had "no concern" Silva would be banned from fighting this Saturday on Showtime PPV.

Chris Redd Brutal Attack Caught on Video ... Cops Look for Suspect

Published | Updated

SNL's Chris Redd was leveled by a single punch in front of about a dozen shocked onlookers outside the Comedy Cellar in NYC, and the SCARY attack was caught on video.

Newly released surveillance footage from the club, obtained by NBC News, shows the exact moment an assailant threw a crushing blow to the face of the comedian, knocking Redd clear off his feet. You can see Chris writhing in pain after the punch.

Redd was on his way inside the venue for his late-night act Wednesday, but he had to take a detour to the hospital for his badly injured nose. Redd's performance was canceled, but, thankfully, he's going to be OK as he nurses two black eyes and a gash to his nose.

TMZ broke the story ... Redd drove up to the Comedy Cellar in Greenwich Village and got out of his vehicle only to be attacked by the assailant. The suspect, who was apparently wearing brass knuckles and a security guard uniform, then ran off. Police do not have a motive for the assault, though the attacker grabbed his chain, it broke into pieces and was recovered.

We're told Chris is cooperating with investigators, but has not been able to identify his attacker and a possible accomplice. Cops have collected surveillance footage in the hopes of identifying the perpetrators.

Le'Veon Bell I Wanna Beat Hall, Be Boxing Champ ... Focused on Fighting, Not Football!

GONNA BE A CHAMP

Le'Veon Bell's decision to box former UFC fighter Uriah Hall has been questioned by many, and while almost everyone expects the former Pro Bowler to get rolled over, Bell tells us that's not how he sees it going ... he's planning to beat Hall's ass, and one day become champ!

"Honestly, I'm trying to be the best," 30-year-old Bell said when he joined Babcock on the TMZ Sports TV show (airs weekdays on FS1), adding ... "I wanna be a champion at some point."

The 5-time All-Pro is fighting 38-year-old Hall on the Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva card on Showtime PPV ... and he's a heavy underdog against the former UFC title contender (Uriah beat "Spider," Chris Weidman, Gegard Mousasi in an MMA cage)

Bell -- who beat fellow NFL star Adrian Peterson in his first pro bout in September -- knows he has to go through tough opponents like Uriah if he wants to be a champion.

"The goal I have set in mind, I have to get in the ring with guys like Uriah Hall. He has a ton of experience, he has a lot of fighting background, and the direction I'm trying to go, I gotta beat guys like that. Step in the ring and beat him and Uriah Hall is the next guy."

And, Bell isn't content with just hanging in there ... he wants to end the night with his hand raised.

"I'm going in this fight like I'm trying to win. I got a mission. Uriah Hall is a guy who's on the route of my journey. He's one of those guys I gotta get through. He's gonna be probably one of the toughest guys I done fought because I done fought obviously, I only fought Adrian Peterson, but I haven't even sparred guys with 17 years of experience like Uriah Hall."

Le'Veon was previously rumored as an opponent of Jake Paul's ... so we asked LB if he was interested in fighting the Problem Child, should they both win.

"Yeah, the interest is definitely there, whether I'm the next opponent or whoever my next opponent is. I don't know. If Jake Paul wanna be fight number 2 professionally for me, that would be perfect."

Bell continued ... "Whatever guys that make sense and they put in front of me, I gotta take those guys out and keep on climbing up the ladder, 'cause like I said, I'm trying be a champion and whoever's in my way tryna stop me from that, I'm definitely willing to fight 'em."

Le'Veon last played NFL football in 2021 with the Bucs and Ravens ... and is still only 30. So, would he play again?

Check out the clip ... Bell says there's almost no chance he'd play again, unless one very particular situation presented itself.

Fight goes down Saturday night!!

Jake Paul I'm On My High Horse!!! ... Before Silva Fight

Published | Updated

The Problem Child looked more like the Problem Cowboy ahead of his fight against Anderson Silva ... 'cause Jake Paul showed up on horseback to his open workout on Wednesday!!

The undefeated boxer -- who's known for his grandiose antics before bouts -- decided to one-up himself in Phoenix ... by doing his best Canelo Alvarez impression and making friends with a foal.

Of course, Canelo is known for his love of animals ... and has showcased his horse-dancing skills over the years.

Paul eventually got off his horse and got to work ... showing off his moves in the ring.

But not only did Paul ride on a horse -- he had several HPs on his wrist, too ... with a Bugatti watch he wore to the open workout!!

TMZ Sports has learned, JP was rockin' a Bugatti Chiron 16-cylinder Tourbillon watch made by Jacob and Co.

The limited edition is designed with 18k of rose gold, anti-reflective sapphire crystals, and a 30-degree inclined Tourbillon cage. Unsure what Jakey dropped ... but we're told the retail price for this bling is $380k!!!

LOOKIN' SHARP

Silva also had his time to shine during his workout -- although, he did not have a horse.

Paul is now the favorite (-190) to beat Silva on Saturday ... after initially coming in as the underdog.

Silva says he's been training like crazy to prove the doubters wrong ... and after reports he was knocked out twice in sparring (which he says was NOT true), he released a statement confirming he's in fantastic fighting shape.

"I am fit and ready to fight and the only knockout people should be worried about is the one I'm about to deliver to Jake Paul on Saturday night."

One thing's for sure -- there won't be any horsing around on Saturday ... even if Jake's new friend is ringside.

Anderson Silva KO Comments From Sept. 13 ... Meant To Say 'Knockdown'

Published | Updated
UPDATE

9:45 AM PT -- Anderson Silva, through a rep, provided us with a statement addressing the knockout controversy.

UPDATE

"After seeing the reports and concern for me, I'd like to clarify two important things. One, I was NEVER knocked out in sparring. I misspoke in that interview as I sometimes do when interviewing in English and exaggerated the normal back-and-forth action that occurs in sparring."

UPDATE

"Second, this sparring session I referenced was in early September. The interview with MMA Weekly was done on Sept. 13 and, for some reason, just released this week. So, it wasn't recent."

UPDATE

"More importantly, my training camp has been great. I am fit and ready to fight and the only knockout people should be worried about is the one I'm about to deliver to Jake Paul on Saturday night.”

UPDATE

8:54 AM PT -- Sources close to Anderson Silva tell us the boxer intended to use the word "knockdown," but inadvertently said "knockout." They're adamant Silva was never knocked out during the training session.

UPDATE

We're also told the interview was conducted on September 13.

Jake Paul's bad luck could strike once again -- his fight against Anderson Silva might be in trouble ... after the former UFC champ claimed he was knocked out twice during his last sparring session.

47-year-old Spider made the shocking comments in a video posted to MMA Weekly on Tuesday ... saying his workouts leading up to Saturday's fight in Phoenix were so grueling, he was KO'd twice.

"I'm training hard for the win," Silva told Jim Grieshaber. "I'm training with the good boxers, high-level, and five guys come to help me. "And the last sparring with [my partner], he knocked me out two times, and when I finish my training, I talked to my coach and even said, 'Coach, let me tell you something, why the guys knock me out two times?' And the coach said, 'You need to prepare for war, and you prepare for war.'"

Silva's statement caught the attention of the Arizona Department of Gaming -- the organization that oversees professional bouts in the state -- which told MMA Fighting it is "looking into the matter."

Here's the issue -- due to Silva's age, he must undergo rigorous testing in order to be cleared to fight ... which includes disclosing his most recent knockouts and the amount of time he was unconscious.

Silva's coach, Luiz Carlos Dorea, adamantly denied the fighter's claims ... saying he is 100% ready for the fight.

No update has been provided so far ... but Paul is clearly expecting to scrap on Saturday -- tweeting out, "3 days" as he continues to count down to the big event.

If Silva's revelation ruins the fight, it'll be the third time Paul has been left without an opponent ... after Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr. were forced to back out.

Here's hoping it doesn't come to that.

SLAP HAPPY

Dana White's giving fans a first look at his new slap fighting org., Power Slap, and if you like seeing people get knocked out ... this is the sport for you!

The 30-second video ran during UFC 280, right before Islam Makhachev and Charles Oliveira fought in the main event ... and it's intense!

The video features the One Eyed Wolf from Barstool's Rough N Rowdy, and other competitors, in some cases literally slapping the snot out of other athletes.

Power Slap's debut is getting closer. They announced an introductory press conference in November ... and just last week, the Nevada State Athletic Commission voted to license White's org.

The sport has been around for years, but has been mostly underground ... that is until the UFC honcho got involved.

If you've never seen a slap fight ... it's what it sounds like. Two competitors stand across a small table from one another and take turns slapping each other until someone can't continue or they quit.

Slap fighting in the past has sometimes featured big size disparities between competitors ... something the UFC will eliminate with weight classes.

And, UFC exec Hunter Campbell sees an opportunity for huge growth ... much like with the UFC decades ago. The promotion ultimately sold for $4 billion.

"After testing it, it became clear to us that there's massive potential here as a sport, not unlike the early years of the UFC," Campbell told ESPN.

Hunter also said plans for Power Slap's first event aren't yet set, but they're gunning to lock down a TV deal before the end of 2022.

Jake Paul Warns Bettors Picking Silva ... 'Ya Shouldn't Have Done It!!!'

Published | Updated

Jake Paul is giving those picking Anderson Silva to win on Oct. 29 enough time to reconsider ... telling TMZ Sports they're going to lose all their money!!

We spoke with the Problem Child -- who's currently the betting underdog against the former UFC champion -- about his highly anticipated upcoming bout ... and despite having a ton of respect for his opponent, Paul tells us he's out for blood once they hit the ring.

"I'm knocking this guy out," Jakey P says ... adding the fight won't last past five rounds. "I'm promising everyone that."

"Come back to this interview, everyone, after the fight, and they'll say, 'Wow, he predicted the future,'" he added. "I have a crystal ball in my room and I can see it."

Jake says he's excited to prove people wrong on Saturday night ... and has a message for those putting their hard-earned money on Spider.

"You shouldn't have done it. You should've invested into something else."

"And everyone who bet on me?? Good stuff, man. You're gonna have some dough, maybe a new car, maybe your rent paid."

Jake also dishes on those downplaying the fight considering Silva is 47 years old ... and he explains why it's actually an advantage for Anderson.

We'll find out who's losing their money on Oct. 29.

Dana White Sean O'Malley Can Be UFC's Next Star ... But He Needs To Win!

WINNING IS EVERYTHING

"Suga" Sean O'Malley is already a UFC star, but Dana White says he could reach Conor McGregor-like levels of fame ... as long as he keeps winning in the Octagon!

TMZ Sports talked to the UFC honcho just days before he headed back to Fight Island in Abu Dhabi ... where UFC 280 is going down Saturday afternoon (in the USA). O'Malley isn't shy about his desire to be a global star, so we asked Dana if Suga had what it took.

"100% and it's all about winning those key fights. He needs to win this fight this weekend against Petr Yan. He beats Petr Yan, watch what happens on Sunday," Dana said.

100422-sean-omalley-kal
NEVER TELL ME THE ODDS

"It will be crazy, but yeah, Conor, on his way up, won all of the key fights he needed to win. It's not for a title or anything but Petr Yan is the number-one-ranked guy in the world."

Dana says, keeping with the McGregor theme, a win vs. Petr would be equivalent to Conor's epic KO of Jose Aldo in 2015.

O'Malley is 15-1, with his sole loss coming against Chito Vera in August 2020 (depending on who you ask, the loss was controversial). He's the #11 ranked bantamweight.

As for Yan, he's the #1 ranked 135-pounder ... and while he's coming off a loss to Aljamain Sterling, it was a very close fight.

Speaking of the champ, Aljo is also on the stacked 280 card. Sterling is fighting #2 ranked T.J. Dillashaw.

The guys aren't exactly friends. In fact, we spoke to Aljamain earlier this month, and he called T.J. "Pill.J DillaRoid."

We asked Dana if he felt confident Dillashaw wasn't taking any banned substances.

"T.J. is absolutely positively clean. These guys are all being tested by USADA and when you're coming off what T.J. is coming off of, I'm sure he's getting hard by USADA."

Of course, Dillashaw was popped for a banned substance, EPO, in early 2019. He received a 2-year ban from the sport.

There's more. We also talked to White about the main event, Charles Oliveira vs. Islam Makhachev.

There's a dream scenario amongst many fans. Oliveira beats Makhachev, and then Khabib Nurmagomedov comes out of retirement to avenge his brother's loss.

Possible?! We asked Dana.

"That's hilarious. I love it. Believe me, that would be everybody's dream scenario, including mine if he beats Islam," White said.

Dana also provided some caution to people who think Islam's going to roll right through Charles.

"[Oliveira's] one of the guys that's sort of slips under the radar and people don't realize it. He's on an 11-fight win streak. He's got the record for the most finishes in UFC history, he's got the most submissions in UFC history, tied for overall UFC post-fight bonuses. He has most Performance Of The Night awards in UFC history, most submissions in both UFC lightweight and featherweight history!"

"I mean the guy has records on top of records on top of records! It's incredible."

We also spoke to Makhachev earlier in the week ... and talked about all things Charles Oliveira, backup fighter Alex Volkanovski, and UFC 280.
