Cardi B knew Offset had a tendency to talk to side chicks, but the fact he apparently made a play for another female rapper, who's also Latina, hit way too close to home ... TMZ has learned.

Offset was linked to rapper Cuban Doll when his alleged text messages leaked. The messages were to a woman named Summer Bunni, and mentioned a possible threesome with CD. We're told those messages, released Monday, put Cardi over the edge ... and she pulled the plug.

Sources close to Cardi tell us the "Bodak Yellow" rapper wasn't just pissed about cheating, but potential cheating with a rapper, who some people think tries to copy Cardi's flow. Not well, though ... we gotta say.

For anyone thinking Cardi's bluffing just to scare Offset, we're told she seems deadly serious. It's not just a warning. As we reported, she shocked fans Tuesday night with the breakup video.

She followed that up by posting the first photo of their daughter, Kulture.

Offset and Cardi had jointly decided to keep their 5-month-old daughter out of the spotlight, partially for her safety.

We don't know that it was, but the decision to finally reveal Kulture -- right after the split -- kinda feels like a dig at Cardi's future ex-husband.

Amal Clooney's got her hands full ... with her bundled-up twins, their teddy bears and even a go bag for her little girl.

It's kinda crazy that Cardi decided to put this out now without much pomp and circumstance ... considering she made such a big fuss about hiding the baby's face for so long.

Of course, she dropped the pic less than 24 hours after announcing she and Offset are done in a video posted Tuesday night.

Best way to change the conversation -- if that's what she's trying to do -- is show off your gorgeous kid.

Travis Scott isn't taking any chances with "wifey" and daughter on the road -- he's deploying extreme security measures that would make President Trump feel safe.

Sources close to Travis tell TMZ ... anytime Kylie Jenner and Stormi come to one of his "Astroworld" concerts, Travis brings in 5 or 6 additional security guards to run a battery of Secret Service-style maneuvers.

We're told the "Sicko Mode" rapper has them conduct thorough sweeps of the dressing room and backstage areas for more than an hour. The guards also confer on best exit routes for Trav and the fam in the worst case scenario.

Our sources say it's a night and day difference from when Travis is alone on the road. Even Kylie and Stormi's itinerary is kept under lock and key -- known ONLY to their bodyguards and management.

It's a ton more work and effort, but we're told the team looks forward to the tour visits because Travis is in a much better mood when Stormi and Kylie join him.

Lil Baby's showing he's a real hands-on dad ... especially when it comes to giving his son the bling he deserves.

The Atlanta rapper wanted to do something special for his 3-year-old boy, Jason, as sort of a late birthday/early Christmas present ... and also to celebrate his new album dropping. So, we're told he went to Icebox with a $25k budget and they went to work ... and so did Lil Baby.

We're told the rapper wanted 2 pieces for his boy -- a "Baby Jason" pendant and a smaller "Jason" one -- and he personally wanted to be a part of making it.

Lil Baby stopped by the shop and they showed him how to set some of the diamonds. When it was all said and done, his son was dripping in 7 carats of VS diamonds and 14 karat white gold ... hanging on rope gold chains.

With just days to spare, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are announcing they struck a custody agreement to avoid battling it out in front of a judge.

We broke the story ... Angelina and Brad were set to go to trial December 4, and they seemed miles apart on custody demands for their 6 kids. She wanted sole physical custody, and he wanted 50/50 joint custody.

On Friday, Angelina's attorney, Samantha Bley DeJean announced, "A custody arrangement was agreed to weeks ago, and has been signed by both parties and the judge." She added the agreement is "based on the recommendations of the child custody evaluator."

The terms are confidential, but the bottom line is ...there will be no trial next week.

There's still plenty more to be decided in their bitter divorce -- like property settlement -- which could get ugly considering they didn't have a prenup when they got married.

1:30 PM PT -- Taylor has been released from jail after paying the $5,350 in back payments ... TMZ Sports has learned.

More legal trouble for Jermain Taylor ... the ex-boxing champ was arrested for the second time this month after missing a child support payment ... TMZ Sports has confirmed.

40-year-old Taylor -- once the undisputed middleweight champ -- was booked in Pulaski County jail in Arkansas around 1 PM on Wednesday.

Jermain owes a whopping $54,500 in child support ... and will not be released until he either pays $5,350 in back payments or otherwise satisfies the court.

ICYMI -- Taylor was arrested in Arkansas back in August for allegedly knocking a woman unconscious and holding a knife to her throat.

Prosecutors later indicted Taylor on felony aggravated assault, felony terroristic threats and misdemeanor domestic battery.

Tyrese is not celebrating his recent court win against his ex-wife, but one thing's for damn sure -- he desperately wishes to get on the same page with her when it comes to parenting their daughter.

We got Tyrese leaving Avra Wednesday afternoon in Bev Hills where the singer opened up about a judge ruling he no longer had to cover Norma Gibson's childcare costs when her activities aren't work-related.

For starters, Tyrese says he didn't win. You can tell the subject weighs heavily on him 'cause he pours his heart out ... wishing he got along better with Norma for their daughter Shayla's sake. As you know ... Tyrese has been at war with Norma over custody and other financial issues.

Tyrese says their best option for settling disputes now is L.A. Superior Court -- he even shouts out the address -- but he also openly admits he wishes he and Norma could turn the page on their contentious relationship.

If this isn't the most Mariah Carey move of all time we don't know what is ... 'cause teaching her twins backup vocals is pretty legendary.

Mariah put Moroccan and Monroe to work Wednesday night, teaching them the backup vocals to her 1994 classic "All I Want For Christmas Is You." You can tell the kids have listened to this song once or twice ... they jump on cue when the song starts.

Roc and Roe -- as Mariah's dubbed them -- are definitely into this. You can see Moroccan crack his fingers and dab before putting in some work. Mariah kicks things off before the kiddos jump in with their I's and O's.

Mariah says the kids have been practicing the vocals ... and bravo, 'cause they nailed it.

After Travis Scott wowed the Madison Square Garden crowd -- which included his baby girl -- he got in some QT with Kylie Jenner. Just another Tuesday night for the fam.

The couple was spotted together after Travis rocked MSG as part of his Astroworld tour, and from the looks of it ... no one enjoyed his performance more than their 9-month-old daughter, Stormi. Seriously, she could barely contain herself.

Travis shared the stupidly cute vid of Stormi giggling and bouncing as she watched him on a monitor backstage. She almost seemed to be matching his moves as he performed "Quintana."

Before the show, Kylie posted a pic referring to Travis as her "hubby" ... adding more fuel to rumors they might have secretly wed.

There's a ZERO percent chance LaMelo Ball will follow in his bro's footsteps and play at UCLA next season ... so says LaVar Ball who tells us he's still furious over the way the school treated LiAngelo.

17-year-old LaMelo is playing pretty well at the Spire Institute in Ohio -- and recently dropped 30 points during a game in Atlanta.

LaVar tells us his son is "better than LeBron" was as a teenager -- calling him "unbeatable" and "the coldest person on two feet."

So, where's he gonna play his college ball next year? Definitely not in Westwood.

"Heck no, he won't be at UCLA," LaVar says ... "UCLA? Why? After what they did to my other son? Are you crazy?"

Remember, LiAngelo withdrew from UCLA after the shoplifting incident in China. UCLA had suspended him indefinitely but that didn't sit well with LaVar.

"Suspend him and don't tell him when he supposed to be able to play and all that? No, they ain't behind him like that. One mistake and now you put him to the side and act like he's supposed to come the next year?"

LaVar says he's also upset that UCLA forced LiAngelo to wear #15 when he wore #3 all his life -- "so it started off wrong."

As for LaMelo, Ball says he'll start taking recruiting trips to colleges "when he feels like it."
