Ben Affleck I'm a Real Climber!!!

Published | Updated

Ben Affleck doesn't need silly things like house keys or a gate code to get into his home ... as long as he's got his limbs and agility, he'll be just fine.

Ben had to channel his inner 'Batman' -- sorry for the bad memory -- when he arrived home Thursday following a dog walk with GF Ana de Armas, only to find they were locked out ... so he scaled the security fence and saved the day.

Check out the gallery ... it's not every day you see a huge celeb breaking into his own home.

Ben shimmied up the gate with relative ease, then hopped down on the other side and stuck the landing like a Russian gymnast. Ta-da!!!

Next thing you know, Ben's opening the door from the inside like a gentleman, and whisking Ana and the pups back inside.

We've seen Ben go the extra mile for Ana before, like the time he played Instagram boyfriend down in Costa Rica ... so she's got herself a keeper.

Tom Cruise Learn How To Use That Space Toilet!!! ISS Advice From Astronauts

Published | Updated

Tom Cruise is getting valuable outer space tips before he films aboard the International Space Station, and famous astronauts say boning up on toilet science is super important!!!

Retired astronauts Scott Kelly and Roy Bridges Jr. tell TMZ ... Tom's going to go through loads of training before blasting off to the ISS. Now, this might sound like a joke, but they agree the john will be a key part of his studies. They say it's no space cakewalk when nature calls in zero gravity.

As you know ... Tom is set to boldly go where no action star has ever gone before, going into orbit to film a new flick, and partnering with NASA, as well as Elon Musk's SpaceX.

Scott's commanded the ISS on 3 expeditions, and spent more time in space than any human being ... so he knows what he's talking about when he says Tom needs to move slowly aboard the ISS. It's common for most newbies to puke. Again, not pretty in zero-G.

On the positive side -- we think -- he adds, the only thing on Earth that compares to space travel is going over Niagra Falls in a barrel while you're on fire.

Roy, who piloted the Space Shuttle Challenger back in 1985, tells us Tom's body is in for a shock -- blood rushing to his head instead of his feet, due to the ol' zero-G.

Scott and Roy also told us what kind of training Tom can expect before getting on the ISS ... like how to move around safely, how to get in and out of the capsule, how to wear a spacesuit, how to make food AND get it in his mouth, plus how to sleep and clean himself -- think birdbath.

Oh, and we're told Tom's also gotta learn how to prepare for a space emergency, like space debris pummeling the ISS ... and how to survive an ocean splashdown when he comes back to Earth.

Sounds like TC's got his work cut out for him ... but this space mission is definitely possible!!!

Tom Cruise Making Out-of-This-World Movie ... Confirmed by NASA!!!

Published | Updated

Tom Cruise is set to boldly go where no actor's gone before -- like, for real -- by making a movie in space, and NASA's fully on board for the project.

Yep, Mr. 'Mission Impossible' is going into orbit!!! NASA's Jim Bridenstine, says they're "excited to work with Tom Cruise on a film aboard the International Space Station." As for why the space agency would be down for this -- Bridenstine says, "We need popular media to inspire a new generation of engineers and scientists to make @NASA's ambitious plans a reality."

Translation: Tom onboard the ISS is the best PR we'll ever get!!!

The news comes on the heels of reports that Cruise and Elon Musk's SpaceX were in the early developmental stages of partnering with NASA on an action-adventure flick.

Now, we know the Space Station's involved, but it's unclear how Musk's company will factor in -- maybe they'll be responsible for delivering Tom to the ISS. BTW, the movie reportedly is NOT a 'Mission Impossible' flick.

As you know, Cruise likes to perform his own stunts, so it seems like he'll be adding astronaut to his resume.

Talk about pressure to get it right the first time. Reshoots will be pricey!!!

Elon Musk & Grimes Welcome First Child Together ... His 6th Boy!!!

Published | Updated

Elon Musk is having himself quite a week -- he put 2 homes on the market, he's potentially shooting a movie in space with Tom Cruise, and oh yeah ... he had a baby with his girlfriend, Grimes.

The Tesla honcho revealed the news on Twitter Monday evening by first replying to a tweet by saying the birth was a few hours away, then following it up by tweeting ... "Mom & baby all good."

Soon after, he responded to a request for a baby pic with a shot of him holding his newborn son ... which he claims shall be named "X Æ A-12 Musk." He also posted one later of his kid with some "savage" face tattoos via social media filters.

The baby is the first for Grimes and the sixth for Musk. He has five sons -- a set of twins and a set of triplets -- from his previous marriage to author Justine Wilson.

As we've reported ... there hasn't been a dull moment with Elon the past week or so, especially on Twitter. He's been pushing to "free America now" amid the coronavirus pandemic, and has vowed to sell "almost all physical possessions" and not own a house.

He seems to be walking the walk too ... because he just put a pair of his Bel-Air mansions on the market this weekend.

As for that movie in space with Tom Cruise ... the actor and Musk's Space X are working with NASA on an action-adventure flick that would actually be shot in outer space, according to a Deadline report.

It's apparently in the early stages of development ... just like Musk's newborn son.

Like we said -- never a dull moment.

Tom Hardy Latest Makeup Still Proves He Ain't No Capone

Published | Updated

Tom Hardy is trying his best to look like the late Chicago kingpin, Al Capone -- but it's becoming clearer with every new shot and still photo that comes out ... they're not a match.

You might've heard about the new movie Tom's starring in called 'Capone,' in which he plays the titular character ... mostly portraying him in his twilight years when he was in failing health and supposedly losing his mind before he kicked the bucket. It's supposed to come out this year -- promotional material's been released and all. Looks decent enough.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

The only problem ... Tom doesn't look much like Scarface himself, despite how much makeup they put on him, and how much hair they make him lose up top. The latest example of that is this test shot that was released -- showing Tom as really, really old AC.

He's made to appear like an elderly man -- and whether Capone might've looked anything like this in his final days or not (there aren't too many photos of him in the 1940s, when he died at age 48) ... it still feels a little hokey, assuming Tom appears like this in the film.

The pic also seems to further prove TH simply doesn't bear much of a resemblance to Capone at all -- which was made clear in the newest trailer for the flick. Some have pointed out that Hardy's Capone comes off as more of a monster movie character than a mobster. The face isn't round enough, the balding isn't quite right ... it's just not a great fit.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

That's not to say Tom doesn't do a kick-ass job playing him -- which we're sure he does. And hey, not every biopic gets it down to a tee with the look ... it's usually more about the spirit of the person an actor is tasked with capturing, and Tom may very well do that here.

In any case ... here's hoping Tom makes Neville Brand, Rod Steiger, Paul Muni, Jason Robards, Stephen Graham, Robert De Niro and all the other guys who took a stab at it proud.

Robin Wright Fun in the Malibu Sun

Published

Robin Wright made the best of the coronavirus pandemic Saturday by taking a trip to the beaches of Malibu with her brood and a few friends.

Robin and daughter, Dylan, hit the sand with some friends, as her husband, Clement Giraudet, hit the water with his board and took advantage of some pretty decent waves.  FYI, L.A. was ridiculously beautiful Saturday.

Robin and Dylan snacked as they watched Clement, a Saint Laurent exec and an accomplished surfer, shred the gnar.

Face masks were not in the picture, and it seems unlikely all of them were quarantining together, although it's possible.

Robin and Clement secretly tied the knot in France 2 years ago.

'Sopranos' Star Joe Pantoliano Hit by Car, Rushed to Hospital

Published
UPDATE

7:21 PM PT -- Joe is home and recovering! He says he has "a severe head injury and some chest trauma" but is looking good, and is appreciating the positive vibes everyone is sending his way.

UPDATE

Here's to a speedy recovery!

Joe Pantoliano is in a Connecticut hospital after he was struck by a car while out for a walk ... TMZ has learned.

Joe's wife, Nancy, tells TMZ ... the 'Sopranos' star was walking with family Friday in their neighborhood when a Porsche skidded across the road and hit him. She says the Porsche had been t-boned by another car.

Nancy says Joe was sent flying a couple feet backward into an old wooden fence. He suffered a gash on his head, plus injuries to his left leg and a shoulder.

EMTs quickly arrived and rushed Joe to a hospital where he's being treated and waiting on the results of a CT scan.

The good news ... Joe's wife thinks he's going to pull through. We're also told both drivers in the crash stayed at the scene, and police are investigating.

Joe posted a video of a rainbow in his neighborhood Friday, and family members say that was shot shortly before his walk.

Again, sounds like Joe got super lucky ... so the rainbow is pretty appropriate.

Joe played Ralph Cifaretto on 'Sopranos' from 2001 to '04. He also played Captain Howard in the 'Bad Boys' flicks ... and costarred in huge movies like "The Matrix," "Memento," and "Risky Business."

More importantly, he's just a really good guy. Here's to a speedy recovery.

Sam Lloyd -- best known for playing kooky lawyer Ted Buckland on "Scrubs" -- has died.

Lloyd was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in January 2019 -- just weeks after he and his wife, Vanessa, welcomed their first child, Weston. After a year and a few months, he succumbed to the disease.

"Scrubs" creator Bill Lawrence paid tribute to the actor Friday, saying ... "Thinking a lot about Sam Lloyd today. (Ted). Truly such a kind, sweet guy. He will be missed by so many."

Along with playing Ted, Lloyd was known for his roles on "Desperate Housewives," "Happy Together," "Shameless," "The West Wing" and "Modern Family." He also had guest spots on "Spin City" and "Seinfeld," and notable credits in films like "Galaxy Quest" and "Flubber."

The actor was also working on his own musical for over a decade before his brain tumor diagnosis -- called "With Pam & Gil."

Lloyd was 56.

Drew Barrymore, Walmart Sued You're Not Creative ... You Jacked Our Designs!!!

Published | Updated

Drew Barrymore and Walmart are getting dragged into more than a pillow fight ... they're getting sued for allegedly copying a fabric design studio's patterns to sell pillows.

Rule of Three Studio just filed a lawsuit against Drew and Walmart for copyright infringement ... claiming the actress and big box store straight-up ripped off the fabric design studio's work and tried to pass it off as their own.

In the suit, obtained by TMZ, the fabric designer claims Drew copied their intricate Turkish Plume patterns, slapped it on pillows and sold it at Walmart in the Flower Home By Drew Barrymore collection.

The fabric designer claims Drew was bragging about coming up with patterns that aren't her own ... the studio thinks it's rich Drew hawked the pillows by saying, "One of the things I’m most proud of is that every single one is completely our own and original—we created each print that we developed for the line."

According to the docs, the fabric designer says it released its Turkish Plume pillows way back in 2015, and it wasn't until last year that Walmart started selling the Barrymore collection.

Rule of Three Studio is fed up with seeing their allegedly stolen designs on Drew's products ... the fabric designer is suing to stop sales and for all the profits from the design, plus additional damages.

BTW ... the studio says their pillows retail for between $315 and $565.

We reached out to Drew's camp ... so far, no word back.

Harrison Ford Improperly Crosses Runway ... Tower Operator Pissed

Published | Updated

Harrison Ford was told to hold short of the runway at a SoCal airport because another plane was on the runway ... but the actor still crossed and the tower operator was alarmed.

Harrison had just landed at the Hawthorne Airport Friday when he left the runway for the taxiway ... and he taxied to the other end of the runway. There was another plane a few miles behind him that was practicing touch-and-go landings.

Listen to the audio between Harrison and the tower. You hear the tower operator tell Ford, "Can you hold short on runway. Traffic on the runway."

It's apparent the 77-year-old pilot didn't hear it, because he accelerated onto the runway and began crossing. You then hear the tower operator angrily say Harrison ignored his instructions, and the actor profusely apologizes, saying he heard the exact opposite -- that he was cleared to cross the runway.

Important to note ... there was no danger of a crash. The other plane was 3,600 feet away from Harrison when it hit the runway and, since the guy was doing touch-and-goes, he was up in the air long before reaching the other end of the runway where Ford was located.

An FAA official tells TMZ, the incident is under investigation.

A rep for the actor tells us ... "Mr. Ford crossed the airport's only runway in his aircraft after he misheard a radio instruction from ATC. He immediately acknowledged the mistake and apologized to ATC for the error. The purpose of the flight was to maintain currency and proficiency of the aircraft."

Fact is ... Harrison was getting his license updated so he could participate in more relief efforts. Over the years, he's flown humanitarian missions in Haiti, he's worked with Operation Smile, and has helped rescue stranded hikers in Wyoming.

"I'M THE SCHMUCK"

Of course, this is reminiscent of another hiccup a few years ago at John Wayne Airport when he mistakenly landed on the taxiway, which was dangerous. He admitted as much at the time, calling himself a "schmuck" on the radio.

There was another incident, but frankly, Harrison pulled a Sully of sorts when his engine failed -- no fault of his -- and he was able to put the plane down on a golf course without injury to anyone.
