Remember when Mark Wahlberg bet big money on the Cleveland Browns to win 6 games this season, and everyone laughed in his face??

Welp ... ya should've listened to the man, 'cause the movie star is lookin' like a damn genius now that Baker Mayfield and co. have secured 7 wins this season!!

Of course ... when we spoke with Marky Mark back in July, the Orange and Brown were coming off an 0-16 season, and still had Hue Jackson as head coach at the time, so 6 wins seemed nearly impossible.

But, Wahlberg's faith in the rookie QB paid off big ... and although he never revealed just how much he wagered, you know he ain't wasting his time with small bets.

At the time, Wahlberg told us he made 2 other big NFL bets -- picking both the Eagles and Patriots to get back to the Super Bowl ... and both of those bets are still alive!

Antonio Gates ain't sure he wants to hang up his cleats after this season ... 'cause the Chargers legend tells TMZ Sports he's having way too much fun to quit football!!!

A.G.'s 38 years old and it's clear he's WAY past his prime ... but when we got the tight end out in Bev Hills -- he says he's not ruling out playing another season in 2019.

"I'm having a lot of fun now. More fun than I had in my whole career to be honest with you."

It's interesting ... considering Gates has just 28 catches and 2 touchdowns this season -- but the Chargers are 11-4 and do still have a shot at the AFC's No. 1 seed.

Sounds like all that winning has Gates -- who nearly retired before THIS season -- thinking about playing another year with Philip Rivers -- even if he ain't ballin' like he used to.

"Right now, I'm just enjoying the moment, man. We in the postseason, we got a chance to the playoffs and win the championship. And, after that, I'll just see how it goes."

Bebe Rexha is calling out a married football player in a big way ... telling him to stop hitting on her.

Bebe doesn't say if he's an NFL player, but the intimation is certainly there -- she says he has an obligation to be a role model, so presumably he's somewhat famous.

The singer posted, "Do you ever have that one guy that always comes in and out of your life ... And they are cheaters waste your time." This makes it sound like she's hooked up with him before.

Bebe makes it clear the guy has a family -- a wife and 3 kids. She says he texted her, "When will I see you my friend!" ... to which she responded, "I'll be performing on new Year's Eve. On NBC. Happy New Year's my friend."

Apparently the NFL player asked when he could see her again in person, and she said, "I'll be performing in San Jose in January."

Short story ... she's one step from naming the guy if he doesn't back off. We're guessing he got the message.

Sam Darnold learned a brutal rookie lesson Friday -- if you don't take care of your offensive lineman ... YOU GET YOUR WHEELS JACKED!!!!

At least, that's according to Jamal Adams ... who says the Jets QB's Christmas gifts to his O-Linemen were so trash -- the big fellas literally ripped the front wheels straight off his whip!!

Crowell had been having a solid first year with New York -- logging 685 rushing yards and 6 touchdowns -- before a foot injury ended his season a couple weeks ago.

When a team gives you a guaranteed 3-year, $84 MILLION contract, you better give them a win in the playoffs -- at least, that's how Greg Jennings feels about Kirk Cousins' big contract.

The ex-Vikings WR tells us it doesn't seem like the QB's contract has been worth it to Minnesota based on the team's 8-6-1 record ... but there's more to his deal than wins and losses.

Jennings says what Cousins brings to the team in terms of leadership and other off-the-field qualities is valuable ... but the bottom line, he needs to get to the playoffs and win!

Antonio Gates disagrees with LeBron James saying NFL owners have a "slave mentality" ... 'cause the TE says players know what they sign up for and make a great living doing it.

Of course, LeBron went off on the NFL on his HBO show, "The Shop," last week, saying, "In the NFL they got a bunch of old white men owning teams and they got that slave mentality ..."

"And, it's a little like, 'This is my team. You do what the f*** I tell y'all to do. Or, we get rid of y'all.'"

When we got Gates out in Bev Hills ... he told us he ain't buying what LBJ's selling -- saying NFL players know what they're getting into when they ink their contracts.

"I don't know all the owners -- I know my owner. And, my relationship with my owner has been phenomenal. And, it's sports. You know what I mean? You get paid to play."

Gates added, "We all know what we sign up for."

As for the differences between the NBA and the NFL ... Antonio says he does hope one day his league can guarantee contracts like LeBron's -- but he still doesn't see NFL owners having a "slave mentality" at all.

Dez Bryant is all about the wheel routes now ... 'cause dude's using a scooter to get around these days after that devastating leg injury back in November.

The ex-Cowboys superstar blew out his Achilles just hours after inking a deal with the Saints last month ... and the injury's expected to keep the WR off the field for the next year.

The company says they're accepting offers for the 2019 luxury Class “A” Forest River Georgetown 377XL motorhome -- valued at $195k -- complete with an autographed mini fridge AND the original renter's contract signed by Mr. Dangerous himself!!

Not only does the lucky bidder get the cool piece of Browns history, they get a whip with ALL the bells and whistles -- a Furion fireplace, Corian tile countertops, three slideouts, heated and massaging theater seating.

A rep for the company tells us they'll listen to ALL offers in order to get the whip to a rightful owner -- but if Mayfield is interested in buying it, they're down to work out a deal.

TMZ Sports has obtained footage of the moments cops captured ex-NFL wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham during a raid on a Missouri home Wednesday night.

In the footage, you can see several members of the Springfield PD's Special Response Team announcing their presence and getting ready to serve a search warrant on the home.

Cops say they spotted the former Philadelphia Eagles player trying to flee out of a window -- but they were able to catch him and take him into custody.

Officials say officers found 1 pound of marijuana in Green-Beckham's backpack along with several vials of THC oil.

Once inside the home, cops say they found 7 more pounds of weed -- but arrested another man in connection with that.

You can see cops walking Green-Beckham out of the home and escorting him into a waiting cop car.

FYI, 25-year-old DGB is listed at 6'5" and 215 pounds ... so, it's pretty easy to spot him in the video.

He was later taken to a nearby police station where he was booked and posed for a mug shot.

Green-Beckham had a TON of potential as a football player -- which is why he was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the 2nd round of the 2015 NFL Draft ... but off the field issues torpedoed his career.

Marquette King says his music career is about to take off ... tellin' TMZ Sports if he hadn't been an amazing punter -- he'd already be bigger than Chris Brown!!

The former Raiders and Broncos punter began making beats back in high school ... but says tinkering with music on long flights during his NFL career made him a master musician.

So much so ... Marquette says he feels like if he had picked music over punting a long time ago -- he'd already be a superstar in the entertainment world.

"If I woulda started my music before I started my punting career, I woulda been Chris Brown. Chris Brown and Justin Bieber, they wouldn't even want to see me, dawg!"

Josh Gordon's substance abuse issues run deeper than weed ... so says Dr. Drew, who tells TMZ Sports he believes the WR is dealing with something far more serious than pot.

Gordon announced Thursday he's stepping away from football to focus on his mental health -- but the NFL says he violated the league's substance abuse policy, once again.

Dr. Drew says it just can't be a weed issue that the Patriots WR is dealing with ... telling us Josh is most likely hooked on something much more powerful.

"I'm certain a lot of people think, 'Could this be cannabis? Could this be pot?' There's no way they'd be this harsh with him if it were."

"It's gotta be something more here. What he's talking about and the way he's talking about it, it sounds like he's really struggling with something more serious."

Dr. Drew says he's happy Josh is taking time away from the game to get sober ... but warns if Gordon returns too soon -- it could be dire for the superstar wideout.

"It's a high-risk game for him to be in the NFL. If he returns to work too early, it's definitely a risk to his sobriety."

BTW ... Dr. Drew also ripped the NFL for it's handling of players with mental illnesses -- telling us Roger Goodell and co. need to learn a lesson from the NBA.
