Rick Ross 'Boss' Conferences Are My Thing ... Threatens Lawsuit To Defend Brand
-

Rick Ross says his "Boss" brand is being copied, threatening to sue the woman behind an upcoming kid's event unless she changes the name to something that doesn't give off that Maybach Music glow.
Rozay's team sent out a warning shot to Tiffany McIntosh of "I’m the Biggest Boss Conference" ... after accusing her of using a couple of his biggest hits -- singles "The Boss" and "Push It" -- to promote her conference designed to shape children into entrepreneurs.
The legendary rapper also notes he has his own "Boss Up Conference" that went down this past September, and Ross insists her conference is likely to cause confusion that he's sponsoring her event.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
According to the letter, Rozay says he wants to solve the matter amicably -- and spare Tiffany the litigation hassle, but only if she takes "Boss" out of her conference title and stops using his music to promote it.
Tiffany's event also has a celebrity connotation -- with scheduled appearances from Master P, Romeo Miller and Vivica Fox ... but Rozay wants his name, brand, and music kept out of it.
Ross said he wants his demands met by October 5th ... but we're told Tiffany does not intend to make the changes and plans to go forward with the event as is. Ross' legal counsel tells us they'll evaluate the situation accordingly if there's a failure to comply.
We could be headed for a showdown of bosses ... in court.

Three Teens Drive At 123 MPH Insane Crash in Stolen Maserati Flips Over, One Dead
Three Florida teens stole a Maserati and drove at warp speed to elude cops, until the car flipped over and crashed, killing one of the occupants, this according to a new police video.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office released helicopter footage, tracking the teens' every move from start to finish during Sunday's INSANE wreck in St. Petersburg.
In the video, the teens are seen walking up to the parked Maserati and slipping inside the unlocked vehicle, not knowing they're being watched from above. The police were in the area on an unrelated robbery call and saw them acting suspiciously.
The kids take off in the car and drive down the street first at a moderate speed as two police SUVs begin to follow them, trying to pull them over.
Suddenly, the Maserati zooms off, hitting speeds of 123 MPH ... leaving cops in the dust. Over the radio, a sergeant orders the SUV officers not to pursue the fast-moving car.
About 20 seconds later, the Maserati loses control and hydroplanes across the road, hitting a curb and flipping over onto the hood as debris flies everywhere.
15-year-old passenger Mario Bonilla died at the scene. Driver Keondrick Lang, also 15, and passenger Malachi Daniels, 16, were hospitalized. Both are expected to survive.
Police say Lang now faces a murder charge, which can be applied under Florida law whenever someone is killed while committing a felony.

Kanye West BLM Fires Back ... 'White Lives Matter' Shirt Hurts Real People
-
Exclusive
11:42 AM PT -- Author and activist Marc Lamont Hill came on "TMZ Live" Tuesday to discuss Kanye West's "White Lives Matter" controversy -- and he's shooting down the notion that the guy gets a pass because of his mental health.
Kanye, by his own admission, deals with bipolar disorder -- and has even said he sometimes doesn't take his meds -- but MLH says that alone can't be an excuse for what Ye's saying in regards to Black Lives Matter or what many consider outrageous behavior.
Essentially, Marc's saying he believes this is how Kanye feels at his core ... and to him, it's a major disappointment. The reason he thinks Kanye is a lot more stable and cogent than some might give him credit for is because of all his successes -- something Marc doesn't think someone with a truly debilitating mental illness could do. It's an interesting theory.
Bottom line ... Marc thinks Kanye's trying to have his cake and eat it too -- especially when he picks and chooses when he wants to lean into his Black identity, and it's a bad look from Marc's POV.
The Black Lives Matter movement is going after Kanye West for the controversial "White Lives Matter" shirt he wore to his YZY Show, saying it's nothing but a stunt to hurt folks fighting for justice.
In a statement to TMZ, BLM says ... "While some may see Kanye and Candace's stunt as a distraction, we recognize that it harms thousands of families fighting for justice for their loved ones killed by state-sanctioned violence."
BLM's also ripping Candace Owens -- who also wore the shirt -- for what they view as spreading "toxic confusion" ... claiming the shirts, and phrasing, can be "used to legitimize violent assaults on Black people."
Kanye should know better, BLM says, telling us ... "Kanye knows very well that 'white lives' have never been targeted for oppression. Black folks, in contrast, are at the bottom of virtually every economic, social, and political measure because of centuries of individual and institutional racism."
For his part, Kanye says he wore the "White Lives Matter" shirt at his fashion show because he thinks BLM "was a scam."
Naturally, BLM disagrees ... they say the movement will benefit everyone in the long run because "when Black people get free, everybody gets free."

Kanye West Responds to 'White Lives Matter' Heat ... 'Black Lives Matter was A Scam'
3:11 PM PT -- It appears Kanye and Gabby have made nice, Kanye says the two of them met for 2 hours and then grabbed dinner. Kanye writes, "We apologized to each other for the way we made each other feel. We actually got along and have both experienced the fight for acceptance in a world that's not our own. She disagreed, I disagreed, we disagreed."
9:21 AM PT -- Gigi Hadid isn't here for Kanye's attack on Gabriella, writing in a comment, "You wish u had a percentage of her intellect. You have no idea haha ... If there's actually a point to any of your s*** she might be the only person that could save u. As if the "honor" of being invited to your show should keep someone from giving their opinion ..? Lol. You're a bully and a joke."
Kanye West seems to be saying he wore a "White Lives Matter" shirt because, in his mind, Black Lives Matter is nothing but a racket.
Ye took to IG to respond to all the blowback he's been getting -- and it's been A LOT -- over a shirt he and his Yeezy models were rocking during his fashion show Monday ... which had the controversial message plastered across the back.
Ye says, "EVERYONE KNOWS THAT BLACK LIVES MATTER WAS A SCAM NOW ITS OVER YOU'RE WELCOME."
What he's referring to, it seems, is the fact that a small handful of BLM executives who've been caught in alleged scandals over the past couple years -- including one honcho accused last month of siphoning $10 million from donors, and another who's been accused of using BLM funds to buy a house.
Candace Owens -- who was also on hand Monday for Ye's show, wearing the shirt too -- has been one of many critics on the right who've latched onto this, despite denials from the BLM execs ... and it would appear Kanye's skeptical too.
There's more ... KW also went after one specific person who criticized him because of his fashion choice/political statement -- a contributing editor for Vogue named Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, who called his shirt "dangerous" and "irresponsible" in a well-thought-out analysis.
His response was more simple, and quite frankly childish ... making fun of her wardrobe. He posted a photo of her, roasting her shoewear, saying -- "I KNOOOOOOW ANNA [Wintour] HAAAATES THESE BOOTS."
Kanye went on to say ... "This is not a fashion person. You speak on Ye. Ima speak on you. Ask Trevor Noah."
Gabriella doesn't seem to have responded to Ye's barbs just yet ... but she was far from the only blue checkmark to have blasted him for his stunt. Kanye was trending all day because of it -- with many recalling other controversial statements, including his infamous suggestion, while on "TMZ Live," that slavery was a choice ... not to mention all the MAGA stuff from over the past few years.
10/3/22
At any rate, it looks like Kanye is sticking to his guns. Not only was he wearing the shirt, but there are photos online from the Yeezy show that depict other people -- including models of his -- who were rocking it on the runway.
Just another day in the life of Kanye West. 🤷🏽♂️

Fish Tales Winning Fishermen Could Be On the Hook for Felony Theft
The scales of justice may collide with a different set of scales, because 2 fishermen who were caught red-handed cheating to win nearly 29k in a fishing competition are now in the crosshairs of the law.
Chase Cominski and Jake Runyan -- who allegedly stuffed their winning catch with weights -- are in big trouble. The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office in Ohio tells TMZ, "My staff will be meeting with officers from the Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources today regarding the matter. I take all crime seriously, including attempted felony theft at a fishing tournament."
Prosecutor Michael O'Malley added, "These individuals will be held accountable."
Pro Fishing Repeat Champs Accused of Stuffing Walleye with Weights
Cominski and Runyan seemingly won Friday's competition with 2, 7-pound walleyes ... but there were suspicions, so the fish was cut open. That's when everyone saw the fish were stuffed with lead weights and fish fillets ... nearly doubling their actual weight.
These guys had a history of winning these competitions, and their competitors were pissed. You hear the outrage from the crowd.
Runyan was asked on camera if he had anything to say for himself, but he was mum.
Officials say they will be persona non grata at these tournaments for the foreseeable future.

Rams' Bobby Wagner Destroys Smoke-Bomb-Toting Field Invader ... During 'MNF'
Rams star Bobby Wagner gave security guards a hell of an assist during "Monday Night Football" ... knocking the snot out of a fan who had invaded the field with a smoke bomb in the middle of the game.
The wild scene happened just before halftime of L.A.'s loss to the Niners in Northern California ... when a protester hopped over Levi's Stadium railing and began running wild on the turf.
The man -- holding a smoke bomb that filled the air with pink fumes -- managed to evade stadium staffers for several moments ... until he made his way over to the Rams' sideline.
10/3/22
That's where Wagner buried his shoulder straight into the dude's chest -- leveling him to the grass. Security guards were then able to pile on the guy ... and he was removed without further incident.
The Manning brothers -- Peyton and Eli -- found the whole situation pretty funny while they were in the middle of broadcasting the action ... but Wagner said afterward he had legit concerns that the fan had nefarious intentions.
"We don't know what they're carrying in their pockets," the 32-year-old told media members.
"That's just keeping it safe," he added. "You don't know what that fan got or what they're doing."
Animal rights group Direct Action Everywhere took credit for the scene after the game ... explaining the man, and another protester who had been taken down before reaching the pitch, had hit the field in order to raise awareness for a trial involving the alleged theft of pigs from a factory farm.
RELEASED: Alex and Allison, the 2 activists who disrupted tonight’s NFL game, have been released from police custody. Alex, who was tackled by Bobby Wagner, has a burn on his arm. Otherwise, they’re a bit beaten up but in good spirits. pic.twitter.com/svajBkuDz3
— Direct Action Everywhere (@DxEverywhere) October 4, 2022 @DxEverywhere
The org. said the protesters were cited by police and ultimately released from custody. It added that the man who was tackled by Wagner suffered a burn on his arm.
9/9/22
This is not the first time members of the org. have disrupted a football game -- earlier this year, two people wielding the same smoke bombs interrupted the Rams vs. Bills game on the NFL's opening night.

Kanye West 'White Lives Matter' Shirt ... At Yeezy Fashion Show
1:47 PM PT -- Turns out Ye was also joined by controversial conservative Candace Owens at the show, who also wore a shirt with the same message.
Kanye West is stirring the pot again ... this time wearing a "White Lives Matter" shirt at his Yeezy fashion show.
The Yeezy head honcho was on hand Monday in Paris for a showcasing of his Season 9 collection, and during the show -- Ye was seen rocking a black T with a very clear "White Lives Matter" message on the back. The lettering is bold and in white without context.
10/3/22
The front of the shirt features images of Pope John Paul II and the message, "We shall follow your example."
The show started about an hour late, and featured a kids chorus, including his daughter North that sang while the models walked.

— Photos Of Ye (@PhotosOfKanye) October 3, 2022 @PhotosOfKanye
Kanye described the new collection as something you can "pull on and pull over" ... dubbing it the future of clothing. He also ranted a bit -- musing about how Elvis would fare in 2022 if he was alive, and saying "You cannot manage me" for good measure.
Before the show came to an end, a new song with Kanye and James Blake played through the speakers ... and everyone cheered.
Remember, Kanye wore a red MAGA hat for a while back in 2018 ... even sporting it at The White House when he met with Donald Trump.

H.S. Football Cali School Kicks Players Off FB Team Over 'Slave Auction' Video

Several H.S. football players in California were booted from their team after filming a racist prank where they sold their Black teammates at a "slave auction," TMZ Sports has learned ... and now the team has been forced to forfeit the entire year over a lack of eligible players.
Once the district got word of the video, made by members of the River Valley H.S. (CA) FB team, which was apparently meant to be funny, they acted swiftly ... kicking off the offending players for violating the student-athlete code of conduct.
"Re-enacting a slave sale as a prank tells us that we have a great deal of work to do with our students so they can distinguish between intent and impact," Yuba City Unified School District Superintendent Doreen Osumi wrote.
"They may have thought this skit was funny, but it is not; it is unacceptable and requires us to look honestly and deeply at issues of systemic racism."
Osumi said the students will be disciplined, but it's as much about teaching, too ... "education, honest, open discussions and instruction will guide our students to realize that their choices and actions have consequences."
The superintendent said the district is working to make sure the student body can learn from this situation -- adding she sees this as an opportunity for students to be more "aware, thoughtful, and considerate of others."
“When students find humor in something that is so deeply offensive, it tells me that we have an opportunity to help them expand their mindset," Osumi said.
River Valley hadn't exactly gotten off to the best start. They were 0-6, according to Max Preps. Football season in California usually kicks off mid-August, and with the playoffs, can go through mid-December.
Once all the discipline is handled, the plan is to field a team for the 2023 H.S. football season.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Rips Kyrie Over Alex Jones Video ... Sponsors Should Drop Him!!!

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar says Kyrie Irving has done something "more destructive, insensitive, and just plain silly" than his COVID-19 vax stance ... going off on the NBA superstar for sharing a controversial Alex Jones video on social media.
The Brooklyn Nets guard came under fire last month after reposting a 2002 clip of the "InfoWars" host ranting about a New World Order that would release plagues into society for financial gain ... which featured the caption "Alex Jones Tried To Warn Us."
Kyrie Irving just posted a video clip entitled “Never Forget - Alex Jones Tried To Warn Us” with Jones claiming back in 2002 that a “New World Order” would release “plagues upon us…” pic.twitter.com/sz2Ps7Fbrn
— Tommy Beer (@TommyBeer) September 15, 2022 @TommyBeer
Irving's Jones endorsement came weeks after the talking head apologized in court for claiming the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax ... so the timing was a bit odd to say the least.
Now, KAJ is weighing in on Irving's actions ... saying if it weren't for young basketball fans, he'd be "dismissed as a comical buffoon."
"Alex Jones is one of the most despicable human beings alive and to associate with him means you share his stench," the Lakers legend said on his website.
"When I look at some of the athletes who have used their status to actually improve society-- Colin Kaepernick, LeBron James, Muhammad Ali, Bill Russell, Billie Jean King, Arthur Ashe, and more -- it becomes clear how much Irving has tarnished the reputations of all athletes who strive to be seen as more than dumb jocks."
Abdul-Jabbar says people shouldn't just scoff at Irving -- there should be action -- and he wants those outraged to write to the All-Star's sponsors to demand they cut ties with him.
"Irving does not seem to have the capacity to change, but we have the capacity to keep fighting against his brand of destructive behavior."
FYI -- Irving's deal with Nike is most likely up after this season, but KAJ points out he still has deals with Pepsi and 2K Sports.
Abdul-Jabbar says no one should feel guilty for it, either ... pointing out Irving has made $230 million in his career.

Sean Avery has been involved in yet another spat with his neighbors ... this time he was so irate over the way they parked their cars on a street near his home, he threatened to snap their windshield wipers.
TMZ Sports has learned ... the dispute all went down last Thursday in Hollywood Hills, when the former NHL player confronted a couple people, including teenagers, over some vehicles that were stopped on the street.
Avery -- who said he was house-sitting for someone who lived on the block -- was clearly livid with everyone, explaining he believed the cars were parked illegally. He demanded they move them at once.
The neighbors, though, weren't happy with the way he approached them about it all -- and a massive argument in the street ensued for several minutes.
At one point during the feud, Avery said, "The next time one of you guys parks your cars there, I'm going to snap your windshield wipers off. One-hundred percent. One-hundred percent. Ask around!"
He later added to one of the men who was filming the squabble, "Dude. You're too f***ing short to actually, like, try and challenge anyone. Just shut up."
Multiple times during the argument Avery called some of the men an offensive term for little people.
MARCH 2021
We're told the tiff eventually died down without further incident. Cops were not called.
NHL's Sean Avery Busts Man's Car Mirror In Heated Dispute, But Claims He's The Victim
Of course, this is not the first time Avery has been filmed being upset with someone near his home ... just last year, he broke a man's car mirror after he claimed the guy hit him while he was jogging in the street.
Avery was known as one of the most physical players in the NHL during his 10-year career ... logging 1,533 total penalty minutes.

Kim Kardashian Charged by SEC for Crypto Promo Agrees to Pay $1.26M
Kim Kardashian failed to tell her followers she was paid to promote a crypto asset -- a mistake that's now cost her $1.26 million and charges from the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The SEC made the announcement Monday ... Kardashian was allegedly paid $250,000 to post about EMAX tokens on Instagram, a crypto asset offered by EthereumMax. Kim's post also included a link to the EthereumMax website where her followers could buy the tokens.
Kim has already paid $1.26 million in penalties, disgorgement and interest to the SEC ... and has cooperated in the SEC's ongoing investigation.
SEC Chair Gary Gensler says, "Ms. Kardashian's case also serves as a reminder to celebrities and others that the law requires them to disclose to the public when and how much they are paid to promote investing in securities."
As for how Kim's fine breaks down ... there's a $1 million penalty and the remaining $260,000 includes about how much she made for posting the promotion.

Comedian Under Fire Responds to Cruise N-Word Joke Backlash

4:41 PM PT -- 10/2 -- Rob O'Reilly tells TMZ ... there's more to the story about him getting canned over his use of the n-word during a cruise standup comedy set -- and the big picture, according to him, is that most of the crowd was actually on his side for this.
He says the crowd that night consisted of mostly African-Americans, and he also says the joke he made was race-related, not racist. While he denies using the n-word multiple times -- he seems to be admitting he might've used it once ... but goes on to say that while everyone else found it funny, 2 audience members did not -- and they're the ones who made a stink.
Rob tells us all he did was remind them about what the host of the show had told the audience at the beginning -- that if you're easily offended, leave -- and when he realized they were at a crossroads with the hecklers ... he suggested they bounce, which they did.
The video was posted, though, and the rest is history -- Rob insists he wasn't fired for what he said, but more so because someone tattled with an out-of-context POV. One last thing -- Rob says he believes in an unspoken contract between comedians and folks who come to their shows -- namely, that a comic is allowed to say things that you obviously wouldn't say in a private conversation ... and that comedy, by its nature, caters to that concept.
He also acknowledges some of his old tweets don't look great in 2022, but also says he's a victim of cancel culture ... which doesn't' allow for personal growth.
Rob also says that since this story took off, he's been subjected to a lot of hateful and vicious messages from people online ... which is why he scrubbed his socials.
A white comedian is in hot water after being accused of using the n-word multiple times during his performance on a Carnival Cruise.
A woman, who was a passenger on the ship, posted a short clip on TikTok last week that's since gone viral ... showing comedian Rob O'Reilly onstage -- but the video by itself isn't what's upsetting.
The on-screen caption reads, "So on Carnival Cruise right now and they are perfectly fine hiring someone who uses the N-word multiple times in his show and when the issue was raised he said and I quote ‘if you’re offended get tf out.'”
He was met with mostly cheers when telling those offended to leave -- but you can still hear some people in the crowd clearly still upset.
She didn't capture his alleged use of the slurs on camera, but she eventually posted an update, clarifying they weren't allowed to record during O'Reilly's set -- a common regulation at comedy clubs.
She was so offended, though, when he used the n-word "casually" during the performance ... so, she snagged the quick clip and called him out online.
Carnival has responded to the incident ... saying the company doesn't tolerate what went down -- adding O'Reilly's been booted from all upcoming performances and is no longer welcome on Carnival cruise ships.
Rob has quite the resume, up to this point -- he's appeared on "Last Comic Standing," "America's Got Talent," and was even a correspondent for "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
People online were applauding the TikToker for calling out O'Reilly -- some have even found old tweets of his ... mostly ones that joke around about race.

Ana de Armas 'Blonde' Film Slammed Anti-Abortion Propaganda???
Ana de Armas' new movie about Marilyn Monroe is being blasted as a pro-life advertisement -- with none other than Planned Parenthood coming out against some mommy-baby scenes.
Caren Spruch, a PP honcho, tells THR ... "As film and TV shapes many people’s understanding of sexual and reproductive health, it’s critical these depictions accurately portray women’s real decisions and experiences."
Planned Parenthood: ‘Blonde’ Is “Anti-Abortion Propaganda” https://t.co/bqIGbFimty
— The Hollywood Reporter (@THR) October 1, 2022 @THR
She's mostly talking about the director, Andrew Dominik, and his depiction of Marilyn's fetus(es) -- which look fully formed in the movie, and which actually talk at one point.
Spurch goes on to say ... "Planned Parenthood respects artistic license and freedom. However, false images only serve to reinforce misinformation and perpetuate stigma around sexual and reproductive health care. Every pregnancy outcome -- especially abortion -- should be portrayed sensitively, authentically and accurately in the media."
You have to hand it to Andrew Dominik, extremely bold to have a scene in “Blonde” where Marilyn’s baby talks to her about her previous abortion like this pic.twitter.com/tQuHtTfgPt
— Katrina Hutchins (@katrinabhaydon) September 28, 2022 @katrinabhaydon
She finishes with this ... "It is a shame that the creators of Blonde chose to contribute to anti-abortion propaganda and stigmatize people’s health care decisions instead."
For those who haven't seen it yet -- Ana, playing Marilyn, is shown as being preggo three different times ... and two of those end in nightmare-like, horrific forced abortions against her will and the third ends in a miscarriage. MM is shown as wanting to be a mother throughout the film, but forces outside her control strong-arm her into losing the babies.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
Dominik, for his part, has defended his depictions of the baby stuff ... saying the feelings surrounding this are only heightened because of Roe v Wade, adding ... "no one would have given a s*** about that if I’d made the movie in 2008, and probably no one’s going to care about it in four years’ time. And the movie won’t have changed."
The movie has garnered a lot of controversy for a variety of reasons. But on this particular issue ... we should note, the whole thing is fiction -- including how Marilyn's pregnancies came to end, or how she may or may not have felt about any them. She is said to have miscarried in real life at least three times during her marriage to playwright Arthur Miller.
Take that for what it is, we suppose.

Pro Fishing Scandal Champs Accused of Cheating ... Stuffing Weights in Walleye
Trouble on the waterfront in Ohio -- a couple of fishermen have been accused of cheating to make their catches seem heavier than they were ... and the video proof is damning.
Chase Cominski and Jake Runyan -- both locals -- were apparently caught stuffing their walleye with weights and other debris ... with things coming to a head on Friday as their fish were being weighed, and then cut open to expose the truth on Lake Erie.
As you can see, tourney officials started pulling out these little metal balls from the insides of the fish that Cominski and Runyan had up for consideration -- some are saying they're made of lead, but in any case ... they seem to have been jammed in for extra poundage.
There are also slices of what some claim are fish fillets -- in other words, these guys are alleged to have cut pieces of other fish and stuffed them inside as well, clandestinely.
Some outlets are reporting that these two fellas were actually the frontrunners of this tournament -- dubbed the Lake Erie Walleye Trail in Cleveland's Gordon Park -- but that obviously came to a screeching halt when everyone caught wind of what had happened.
You can hear the utter outrage from people on the ground ... they were screaming at these guys, demanding answers and even threatening to call the police. Runyan was asked on camera if he had anything to say for himself -- but he stayed silent and just looked on.
— Billy (@Billyhottakes) October 1, 2022 @Billyhottakes
There are reports of the fisherman going on to win other contests in and around the area -- and now, all of the accolades (and prize money) they've racked up are coming into question.
The official event page on FB had a harsh statement, calling out these gentlemen as straight-up cheaters. They write, "Disgusted guys and gals, I’m sorry for letting you down for so long and I’m glad I caught cheating taking place in YOUR LEWT at the same time."
They add, "I can’t think enough to post results, but congrats Tsczyko and French and TOY Hendricks and Ulmer. Same goes to the yak and open winners. I hope you know now that when I say ”you built this LEWT and I will defend its integrity at all costs”, I mean it."

Tesla Here's Our Robot of the Future!!! Mocked, Compared to BD's
Elon Musk might need to step it up in Tesla robotics department -- because his signature droid doesn't hold a candle to the ones from Boston Dynamics ... so says Twitter anyway.
The CEO was on hand Friday as his company unveiled some new toys as part of their AI Day -- including a self-controlled humanoid bot that they call Optimus ... which actually trotted itself out on stage and moved around a bit in front of a (mostly less-than-impressed) crowd.
For starters, this thing walked very slowly and gingerly ... and did a little examination of his five-fingered hands, plus a wave, before walking back at tortoise-like speed. It also didn't look all that aesthetically pleasing. EM said this was the first time Optimus had walked alone without a tether, so they were taking it easy ... as he didn't want it to "fall on its face." Oof.
He went on to claim Optimus is capable of doing fairly complex tasks (even now) that humans will eventually be able to ask for on-demand on the market -- but much of Tech Twitter wasn't buying it ... especially as a bunch of BD videos popped up in comparison.
Honestly, Boston Dynamics must be in hysterics right now https://t.co/YmDVT6qAIp
— James Bareham (@Happicamp) October 1, 2022 @Happicamp
The reason ... Boston Dynamics' bots -- especially Atlas -- are VERY advanced, and can apparently do a heck of a lot more than what Elon's creation can at this point. Their videos often go viral, particularly when they do complex dance routines and backflips, etc.
Aside from the mocking, there was genuine disappointment in Elon's demonstration ... with many saying he should've just waited until he had something more flashy to show.
Elon defended his bot, though ... saying others on the market right now are "missing a brain," suggesting his was actually smarter and more self-sufficient. He said they'll be going for $20,000 in about three to five years -- but we'll see if those numbers hold up.

Antonio Brown Exposes Himself to Woman in Dubai ... Poolside Flashing and More
Antonio Brown appears to have exposed himself to a woman in Dubai -- this according to video taken during the Spring.
The New York Post obtained footage of Brown that they say was shot in May of this year, when he was the Armani Hotel Dubai ... and getting handsy with a fellow swimmer in the pool. It's a woman, and in the clip -- AB shoves his bare ass in her face twice.
Video: Antonio Brown exposes himself to stunned guests in hotel pool https://t.co/Nij6RFh6Jl pic.twitter.com/QBMxrmPEyF
— New York Post (@nypost) October 1, 2022 @nypost
He looks to be completely naked in the water, which makes the incident all the more disturbing. Brown is fooling around with the lady, and even lifts her up and dunks her.
Eventually, she swims away -- this while some men off-camera egg him on -- and from a distance ... Brown lifts his penis out of the pool to flash her. The Post cites witnesses, claiming the woman was angry after this ... and even went in to complain about him.
Unclear what, if anything, came from it ... this apparently happened several months ago. At any rate, there's a lot of backlash online right now ... aimed at AB, of course.
Brown isn't playing football this season -- at least for now -- 'cause he's an unsigned free agent. He last played with TB and the Bucs last season, before abruptly signing off.
