With all the fights in the NBA lately, we had to ask WNBA legend Chamique Holdsclaw if there was ever a female baller she just didn't mess with in the women's league.

And she definitely produced a name.

First off, Chamique was no cupcake ... 6'2", 172 lbs and was a 2-time rebounding champion during her legendary career. Bottom line -- she was a beast.

But Holdsclaw tells TMZ Sports ... the baddest chick she ever played against was Yolanda Griffith -- 7-time All-Star, WNBA champ and the '05 Finals MVP.

And according to Chamique, she'd rough you up hard if you got in her way.

Al Michaels thinks the Pats have what it takes to beat the Jags and make it to another Super Bowl ... with or without their legendary quarterback.

We got one of the voices of 'Sunday Night Football' at Madeo Restaurant in Weho Friday night, and talked shop about some NFL matters. Al suggests it's no sure thing Tom Brady plays Sunday due to his hand injury, but even if he's out New England can prevail ... because there's no 'Tom' in 'team.'

Venus Williams didn't look like someone who just got knocked out of the Australian Open, because she seems relaxed as can be with her BF.

37-year-old Venus, who lost on the opening day of the tourney, took a stroll with Nicholas Hammond on Hamilton Island in Queensland, Australia.

Venus and Nicholas seemed oblivious to the entourage that followed them.

They started dated pretty recently. Nicholas, who's 25, was Venus' plus one at little sister Serena's wedding.

Hammond is the heir to the TV Guide fortune.

He's a legend in Minnesota ... and that's why Adrian Peterson was all about giving his former team a pump-up speech before the NFC Championship game!

The NFL superstar spoke with TMZ Sports ... telling us why he's truly excited and happy for Minnesota's success, despite the fact he now plays for the Arizona Cardinals.

And if the Vikings can ultimately win the Super Bowl, AP says he wouldn't turn down a ring from the team if they offered him one ... saying, "That would be awesome ... I did help build that stadium a little bit!"

1:45 PM PT -- Anderson has been released from Broward County Jail on $7,200 bond.

3:20 PM PT-- Anderson was arrested at gunpoint, as captured on video by witness Spencer Blount.

The footage is only a few seconds long, but shows Anderson lying face first on the ground while the officer shouts orders at him from behind, gun drawn.

Here's what NY Jets WR Robby Anderson allegedly told a police officer while he was being arrested for going 105 in 45, according to the officer:

"He was going to find my wife, f*ck her and nut in her eye."

It's all described in the police report obtained by TMZ Sports.

According to the Sunrise Police Dept. in Florida, an officer clocked Anderson in his Jaguar going 105 mph in a 45 mph zone early Friday morning.

The officer says Anderson was driving like a maniac -- "all over the roadway and failed to maintain a single lane."

When the cop eventually got Anderson to pull over, Robby refused to cooperate -- saying he wanted to speak with his lawyer right away and physically resisted when the cops tried to put him in the squad car.

But the craziest part of the story ... when Anderson was being transported to the police dept., the police report says, "that when he got out he was going to find my wife, f*ck her and nut in her eye."

"He continued to make other verbal threats towards my family. Based on his statements it was clear that he intended to sexually assault my wife."

"He also began to brag about how much money he has and how all I was doing was trying to do is 'Ruin his fun.'"

Anderson is facing 9 total charges including resisting arrest, reckless driving, speeding and something called, "harm public servant or family."

According to his booking sheet, Anderson is listed at 6'3", 160 lbs.

24-year-old Anderson was a STUD with the Jets in 2017 -- hauling in 63 catches for 941 yards and 7 TDs.

UFC interim lightweight champ Tony Ferguson says he's not worried about Conor McGregor's championship status ... promising he'll destroy "McNuggets" after beating Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Tony and Khabib faced off at the UFC 222 & 223 news conference in Boston -- where Khabib promised to break Tony's arm when they face off in the Octagon on April 7.

Dana White was asked several times if he will be stripping Conor of the lightweight title he won by defeating Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 ... but White isn't saying.

TMZ Sports has obtained Roy Halladay's autopsy report -- in which the coroner lists the cause of death as blunt trauma and drowning ... but points out the MLB star had morphine in his system.

The 40-year-old died in a single passenger plane crash in the Gulf of Mexico back in November. As we previously reported, Halladay was flying in an erratic pattern shortly before the crash.

The toxicology results show Halladay had zolpidem (the generic name for Ambien), as well as morphine in his system at the time of the crash. The tests also came back positive for amphetamines.

One source familiar with the autopsy tells us the results are consistent with someone who uses Rx medication.

One thing of note ... the FDA lists on its website that more than 50 ng/ml of zolpidem "appears capable of impairing driving to a degree that increases the risk of a motor vehicle accident."

Halladay's blood tested positive for 72 ng/ml.

The autopsy report notes that morphine can be found in the system as a result of heroin use -- however sources tell us there is no indication Halladay had been using heroin or any other "clandestine drug."

The report also shows Hallday suffered a subdural hemorrhage in the crash -- along with multiple rib fractures and lung, liver and spleen injuries. He also had a leg fracture.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Dept. reported at the time that Roy was the only person aboard the ICON A5 light-sport aircraft when it went down.

The 8-time MLB All-Star was a pitcher for the Phillies and the Blue Jays and a two-time Cy Young Award winner during his 16-year career.. He's one of only 2 players in MLB history to throw a no-hitter in the playoffs. He also pitched a perfect game for the Phillies in 2010.

1:00 PM PT -- Reports that Pele collapsed and was transported to a hospital are "fake news," Pele's rep told Reuters.

“He just didn’t want to make a long and stressful trip to London, in and out of who knows how many planes and airports,” said Jose Fornos Rodrigues. “That’s all.”

Soccer legend Pele was rushed to a hospital in Brazil early Thursday morning after collapsing ... but doctors seem confident he'll be okay.

So far, it appears the 77-year-old's medical episode is being chalked up to exhaustion.

Pele was set to host a dinner in London with the Football Writers Association on Sunday -- but the FWA now says he will not make it for obvious reasons. The FWA also issued a statement about Pele's health.

"In the early hours of Thursday morning, Pele collapsed and was taken to hospital in Brazil where he has undergone a series of tests which appear to point to severe exhaustion."

"He remains on fluids while doctors monitor his recovery. Thankfully, there is no suggestion of anything more serious than exhaustion."

Draymond Green told Nick Young he needed to "expand [his] horizons" ... so he took his NBA teammate to see the play "Hamilton."

Yep ... it was bros' night out at the CIBC Theatre in Chicago (since the guys were in town after playing the Bulls).
