Ravens Rookie Zay Flowers Gift For Dad After Draft ... A Brand-New Mercedes!!!

DOIN' IT FOR DAD

Forget Rookie of the Year ... is new Ravens wideout Zay Flowers already the Son of the Year?!?

Baltimore's first-rounder sure made a great case for that accolade this week ... buying his dad a new car as a thank-you present following April's NFL draft!!

Flowers' agent, Eric Dounn, said the 2023 Mercedes Benz GLE 450 was the first thing the former Boston College star picked up with the new marketing money he got after the Ravens took him with the No. 22 overall pick ... and, check out the video, Poppa Flowers was clearly elated with the present.

In the footage, you can see Willie Flowers smiling ear-to-ear while looking at the new car before he shared an emotional handshake and hug with his 22-year-old son.

Of course, Willie had every reason to be jacked for the gift ... the luxury car can cost right around six figures with all of the bells and whistles on it.

"Dream was to always buy his dad a car!" Dounn said when sharing the news of the present earlier this week. "He DID just that."

Zay has always spoken highly of his Dad ... recently telling the Ravens' team website that he gets all of his work ethic from the way he watched Willie raise him and his siblings.

According to Dounn, Zay's NFL contract has yet to be finalized ... so there's still a ton more money coming in for the wideout.

Maybe a nice house for Dad is up next??? Stay tuned!!!

Lamar Jackson I Got PAAAAAAAID!!! ... Inks $260 Million Deal To Stay With Ravens

Lamar Jackson isn't going anywhere -- the superstar quarterback just agreed to a humongous 5-year, $260 million deal to remain with the Baltimore Ravens ... making him the highest-paid player in NFL history.

The team announced the news on Thursday ... saying they were FINALLY able to reach a number that would satisfy both sides after months of heated negotiation.

Of course, Jackson revealed back in March he had requested a trade out of Baltimore ... after the team placed a nonexclusive franchise tag on the former first-round pick.

At the time, Lamar claimed the Ravens were not "interested in meeting my value" ... but it's safe to say that's no longer the case.

The monster deal includes $185 million in total guaranteed money, according to reports.

NOT GOING ANYWHERE

Jackson shared his immediate reaction via the Ravens' Twitter account ... saying, "You know, for the last few months, there's been a lot of he say, she say. A lot of nail biting, a lot of head scratching going on."

"But for the next five years, there's a lot of flock going on. Let's go, baby!!"

Sorry, Jalen Hurts -- your reign as highest-paid lasted just a few days. But, at least you have $255 million to use to wipe your tears.

Odell Beckham Jr. Named In Assault Investigation ... WR Denies Allegation

Odell Beckham Jr. has been named as a suspect in an assault investigation after a woman went to police claiming the NFL superstar put his hand around her neck in an L.A. hot spot, but the Ravens WR claims the allegations are bogus.

Law enforcement tells TMZ Sports the alleged incident went down at Delilah several weeks back ... when a woman says 30-year-old OBJ went up to her and grabbed her throat with light pressure.

However, a rep for Odell told us they weren't aware of any investigation and hadn't been contacted by police. They also vehemently denied Beckham Jr. did anything wrong.

Our sources say after the alleged altercation, both the woman and Odell remained at the venue throughout the night without further incident.

A few days later, police met with the accuser and she filed a report.

We reached out to Delilah for comment. John Terzian, owner of the L.A. hotspot, told us  ... “We were contacted about an investigation and reviewed the videos, the claim is false.   There is no evidence of this person even being in the area where she claims the incident occurred.”

The allegations come just days after OBJ was announced as the newest star wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens ... inking a one-year deal worth up to $18 million.

DENYING THE ALLEGATIONS

Odell -- a first-round pick in 2014 -- is slated to make his big return to the field this season -- he missed all of 2022 after tearing his ACL in the Los Angeles Rams' Super Bowl win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Odell Beckham Jr. Judge Denies Nike's Request ... To Dismiss Multi-Mil $ suit

Odell Beckham Jr.'s on a roll ... days after securing a lucrative one-year contract with the Ravens, a judge denied Nike's request to dismiss OBJ's lawsuit against the sportswear giant, ruling the case can go forward.

Nike initially filed docs claiming there were no grounds for the case and asked a judge to throw out the suit on February 28. After reviewing the motion, a circuit court judge in Multnomah County, Oregon (where Nike's headquartered) denied the motion to dismiss, according to court records.

Of course, it doesn't mean OBJ has won the case. A defendant asking the court to throw out a lawsuit is pretty standard, and it's a difficult motion to win, but the bottom line is it's a win for the star WR.

We broke the story in November ... 30-year-old Odell accused the Swoosh of screwing him out of millions of dollars by suppressing shoe sales that would've triggered an automatic lucrative contract extension.

Beckham Jr. also said Nike withheld money he was rightfully owed for what they deemed footwear and glove violations (customizing Nike products).

At the time he filed the lawsuit, Odell issued a statement to us, reading in part ... "Unfortunately, Nike did not honor its commitments. Throughout our partnership, I have kept my promise and fulfilled my obligations to the brand. I am extremely disappointed that I’ve had to take these measures to ensure Nike fulfills their obligations and promises."

Beckham Jr. continued ... "Today, I'm taking a stand not just for me, but to set a precedent for all athletes who have dedicated their life to the sport they love – especially those who don't have the means to stand up for themselves. We are held responsible for fulfilling our obligations under our contracts, but we also have to hold powerful companies like Nike accountable for honoring their commitments too."

All told the Pro Bowler says Nike shorted him around $20 million ... and Odell wants his cash, and now it looks like his attorneys will get their day in court.

On the field, Odell is the newest member of the Baltimore Ravens, signing a contract worth between $15 and $18 million earlier this week.

Assuming he isn't traded, Beckham Jr. and Lamar Jackson will form one of the most dangerous duos in the entire NFL.

Odell Beckham Hopes Ravens Can Get Lamar To Stay ... 'I'd Love To Work W/ You!!!'

MUTUAL EXCITEMENT
Baltimore Ravens

Odell Beckham Jr. is officially a Baltimore Raven ... and the star receiver wasted no time making a pitch to keep Lamar Jackson in town following the QB's trade request.

The Super Bowl champ opened up on why he signed a one-year contract with B-More during Thursday's introductory presser ... saying Jackson was a big part of his decision.

"It's the elephant in the room," the 30-year-old said. "It wasn't about so much money, it wasn't about anything. It was about they showed they wanted me."

OBJ even partied with Lamar once his next move was announced ... which came after a phone conversation that Beckham says was full of excitement.

"I don't know if he called me [or] I called him or whatever, but he was just like, obviously truzz, but he was just excited about it," Beckham said.

Of course, there are some concerns that fans won't get to see the dynamic duo hit the field together ... considering LJ asked Baltimore to trade him last month.

The Ravens placed a nonexclusive franchise tag on the former MVP ... which gives him permission to talk with other teams.

But, Beckham has "faith and hope" that it will all work out ... and sent a message to his buddy.

"Lamar, I don't know if you're watching, I would love to get to work with you," Beckham said. "I'll talk to these guys over here and hopefully, that gets done."

OBJ also provided an update on the ACL that he tore in Super Bowl LVI ... saying, "I feel great now. I'm still in my process of getting ready for September."

Odell Beckham Jr. Parties With Lamar Jackson At LIV ... After Signing With Ravens

UPDATE

8:22 AM PT -- Odell Beckham Jr. was living it up this weekend ... sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ Sports OBJ celebrated his new deal with the Ravens with a lavish dinner at the famed steakhouse Prime 112 in Miami Beach.

UPDATE

Our sources tell us ... that Odell met up with his new QB, Lamar Jackson, at the steakhouse, where they dined until almost 1:45 am with a group of seven people.

UPDATE

Of course, OBJ previously partied it up with Israel Adesanya on Saturday at E11EVEN after the UFC Champ knocked out Alex Pereira in the main event of UFC 287 at the Kaseya Center.

Odell Beckham Jr. and Lamar Jackson are already connecting off the field ... the two NFL superstars hit up LIV nightclub in Miami Beach after OBJ signed a multi-million dollar deal with the Ravens.

OBJ and LJ were seen on video in the famed MIA nightclub ... partying it up as music played in the background, and they were greeted with a sign that read, "Welcome Lamar & OBJ."

Odell was visibly into the moment, enjoying himself after inking the one-year, $15 million deal (which could reportedly go up to $18 million).

The more pressing question is ... how does Lamar feel?

Remember, the 2019 NFL MVP revealed he asked for a trade earlier this month after failing to reach a lucrative, long-term deal with the Ravens.

You've got to imagine Jackson loves the idea of bringing in a top-tier wideout like Odell ... and judging by the fact they're partying together on night 1, it appears that's the case.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Before hitting LIV, OBJ, wearing a Ravens hat, announced the news on social media ... dressing his son, Zydn, in Jackson's No.8 Ravens jersey, with the word "Flock" as the caption.

Jackson publicly congratulated Beckham on signing with the Ravens ... posting a photo on IG of the two on what appears to be a FaceTime call with the caption, #TRUZZ.

Ravens fans have already started daydreaming about what an LJ-OBJ connection could look like on the field ... assuming Jackson's changed his mind on wanting out of Baltimore.

Lamar Jackson Rips Critics ... For Saying He Sat Out Games Over Money

Lamar Jackson says he did NOT sit out games last year as a negotiating tactic, and if anyone suggests he did, the NFL MVP most definitely will not hesitate to check fans online.

That's what happened Tuesday night as fallout from news of 26-year-old Jackson's trade request continues, with some now accusing Lamar of intentionally missing games as a way to either protect his health, or show his value, and in turn receive a huge new contract.

Something Lamar says is absolutely not true.

"I don’t remember me sitting out on my guys week 1 vs jets To week 12 vs Broncos. How come all of a sudden I sit out because of money in which I could’ve got hurt at anytime within that time frame," Jackson said on Twitter.

"When we know the Super Bowl been on my mind since April 2018."

Jackson added, "Let’s get real. I rather have a 100% PCL than go out there and play horrible forcing myself to put my guys in a bad situation now that’s selfish to me."

Of course, LJ missed the last five games of the 2022 season and the Ravens' Wildcard game against the Bengals after spraining his PCL on December 4.

The Ravens were 8-4 in games Lamar played, and 2-3 without him. They finished the season 10-7.

One fan Tweeted back at Lamar, reminding him he previously said he wanted to be a billionaire, to which Jackson responded, "Who doesn’t want to be a billionaire? Whattttttt."

Not everyone's going at Jackson. Deion Sanders reached out to the former first-round pick and advised him to ignore the haters.

"Stop explaining Yourself to fools and allow fools to be fools," Sanders said in a retweet on Wednesday.

"A brother trying that's strong, believes in himself and willing to stand for what he believes will always be misunderstood & judged by fools of all ethnicities."

As far as Jackson's trade request, Ravens HC John Harbaugh told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero it's all business and he hasn't reached out to him about the tweet yet.

"Lamar's got a good heart," Harbaugh said on Monday. "If he needs me, I'm here for him."

Meanwhile, Robert Kraft says he got word from Meek Mill that Jackson wants to be a Patriot.

Lamar Jackson Get Me Out Of Baltimore!!! ... Requests Trade From Ravens

Lamar Jackson just dropped some bombshell news -- the NFL superstar announced he requested a trade from the Baltimore Ravens earlier this month ... claiming the team is not interested in paying him what he deserves.

The former MVP shared his intentions via Twitter minutes ago ... giving his fans a direct update on his NFL future.

"As of March 2nd I requested a trade from the Ravens organization for which the Ravens has not been interested in meeting my value," Jackson said Monday. "any and everyone that’s has met me or been around me know I love the game of football and my dream is to help a team win the super bowl."

"You all are great but I had to make a business decision that was best for my family and I," he added. "No matter how far I go or where my career takes me, I’ll continue to be close to my fans of Baltimore Flock nation and the entire State of Maryland. You’ll See me again"

Of course, Jackson's contract situation has been a hot topic this offseason ... with the Ravens placing a nonexclusive franchise tag on the former first-round pick, which allows him to sign an offer sheet with another team.

Lamar made it clear he wanted to be locked in long-term with a big payday ... but that didn't happen.

As it turns out, Ravens coach John Harbaugh was speaking with the media as Jackson sent out the tweet ... and he said he expects Lamar to be a Baltimore Raven come Week 1.

"Thinking about Lamar all the time, thinking about him as our quarterback, we’re building our offense around that idea," Harbaugh said. "I’m just looking forward to getting back to football and I’m confident that’s gonna happen."

"I’m pretty fired up about Lamar Jackson," he added. "Lamar Jackson is a great player. Lamar came back in great shape last year, he’s fired up to play. That’s the Lamar I’m looking forward to seeing. Can’t wait to get back on the grass and go to work, and I’m confident that's gonna happen."

Michael Vick No Beef W/ LJ After Injury Comment ... 'We Cool'

HERE TO STAY
TMZSports.com

Michael Vick and Lamar Jackson have zero beef with each other despite the NFL legend's comments about the Ravens QB's injury ... with Vick telling TMZ Sports the two are still tight.

Vick initially raised eyebrows during "Fox NFL Kickoff" on Jan. 13 ... after he said Jackson should've fought through a sprained PCL and played in his team's Wild Card round game against the Bengals.

At the time, Vick said the QB should've slapped a brace on his knee and headed out for his squad ... comments that many, including Robert Griffin III, took as out of pocket, considering everything Jackson had to lose if he suffered a more significant injury in the contest.

Vick, though, tells us he knows Lamar isn't trippin' over it at all ... saying even though the two haven't spoken since he made the remarks, he believes the Baltimore QB knew exactly what he was trying to say.

"We cool, everything is all love," Vick said. "Now, RG3 might have taken it the wrong and his situation was a little different."

"It's a brotherhood at the end of the day and we all speak up for one another and speak out for one another so it's respect. It's love."

As for Lamar's future in Baltimore following the ordeal, Vick clearly believes it should play no role whatsoever going forward. The former Falcons star says Baltimore should re-sign him someway, somehow.

"Baltimore would be crazy to let him go," Vick said. "Good quarterbacks are hard to find, I will say that. Lamar's a guy when you walk into the stadium and you got a chance to win, you know you got a chance with Lamar."

TMZ INVESTIGATES

We also spoke with Vick about a pair of other big name NFL QBs, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers ... and he told us what he thinks will go down with both dudes in 2023.

NFL Cancels Bills-Bengals Game ... Will Not Reschedule

The NFL has decided to cancel the Buffalo Bills vs. Cincinnati Bengals game, the league announced Thursday night ... days after Monday Night Football was postponed following Damar Hamlin’s medical emergency.

The Week 17 game will NOT be made up.

Of course, the game was postponed by the league Monday night after a terrifying incident involving the 24-year-old Bills safety.

The cancellation throws a wrench into the playoffs ... as the Bills-Bengals game had major postseason implications.

In an effort to mitigate any advantage, the league has proposed several options ... including potentially playing the AFC Championship game at a neutral site, removing any home-field advantage.

The issue is the Bills-Bengals game could have determined who was the #1 seed ... important not just because that team would have home field, but also a first-round bye.

There are 3 potential scenarios where the AFC Championship game would be played in a neutral area. Those scenarios depend on Week 18's games, but it's likely a Buffalo vs. Kansas City game would be at a neutral site. There's also a chance a Buffalo or Cincy vs. Kansas City game would be played at a neutral area.

As a result of the cancelation, the Bengals are now AFC North champions.

The Bengals will play the Ravens on Sunday ... while the Bills will take on the Patriots.

The NFL's plan isn't yet set in stone ... the league has called a special meeting tomorrow where the plan will likely be finalized.

John Harbaugh On Lamar's Tweet ... 'So Out Of Character For Him'

UPDATE

12:09 PM PT -- Ravens head coach John Harbaugh called his QB's tweet "out of character" on Monday ... and he said he's now urging the Baltimore star to just stay away from Twitter following games.

UPDATE

"It's never going to be positive," Harbaugh said. "It's not going to be a nice place. I think that's kind of reflected in Lamar's response because what he said was just so out of character for him."

"It's not the way he speaks, it's not the way he talks. It's not the words he ever uses. I've never heard him say things like that before."

UPDATE

Harbaugh emphasized that Jackson has the "biggest heart" and that this incident was just a case of his emotions taking over after being trolled following a loss to the Jaguars.

UPDATE

"He's one of the biggest competitors I ever met."

Lamar Jackson deleted a vulgar Tweet Sunday night ... a few hours after going in on a fan who criticized his play on Sunday.

"When someone asking for over $250 mil guaranteed like [Lamar] ... games like this should not come down to [kicker Justin Tucker]. Let Lamar walk and spend that money on a well-rounded team," a fan wrote on Twitter shortly after the Ravens lost a shocker to the Jaguars.

25-year-old Jackson, clearly emotional, responded ..."Boy STFU y'all be cappin too much on this app mf never smelt a football field," before ending the Tweet with a vulgar term.

The Tweet remained up for about 3 hours before being taken down.

It was a rough day for the Ravens ... who lost a shocker to the 4-win Jaguars. Baltimore's All-Pro kicker, Tucker, attempted a 67-yard field goal for the win as time expired, but came up a few yards short.

Jackson went 16-for-32, throwing for 254 yards and 1 TD. The QB was clearly frustrated after the game, telling reporters ... "Nobody likes losing."

With the L, the Ravens are now tied with the Cincinnati Bengals atop the AFC North at 7-4. Lamar and company will play the Broncos this Sunday.

Neither the NFL nor the Ravens have commented on Jackson's Tweet.

The 25-year-old -- traded from Chicago to Baltimore last month -- showed up with his teammates at a local elementary/middle school to hand out food to 200 families, per WBALTV.

The outlet says Smith and other Ravens pulled their money together to purchase turkeys and side dishes for the families to enjoy on the annual holiday.

Baltimore shared videos Monday of Smith and the team packing boxes of food into cars as families came to pick up the items in time for Thursday's celebration.

Smith and his teammates did more than just hand out birds, though ... they took time to interact with community members -- and Roquan even offered to take a pic with a little kid eager to meet him.

The youngster had the warmest smile as he stood next to the linebacker ... and even said "cheese" while throwing up the peace sign as he posed for the camera.

Lamar Jackson paid a surprise visit to a young fan before the Ravens' big game on Monday -- and the little boy was so moved by seeing the QB in person, he cried tears of joy!!

The heartwarming moment happened just before Lamar beat the New Orleans Saints on "Monday Night Football" -- when the Ravens star snuck into a room to say hello to Landon, one of his biggest fans.

You can see in video of their interaction, filmed by Landon's father, the boy was so shocked to see the former MVP in the flesh -- he ran over to hug him, and wouldn't let go!!

At one point during their embrace, the kid even began crying hysterically.

"He's making my day," Jackson said with a smile. "Wipe your tears, man."

Landon -- who's battling a heart condition -- eventually got to go down to the field with Jackson ... taking a pic with the signal-caller and enjoying the quarterback's talents up close.

He also met several Ravens players on the field ... and even got hooked up with autographs.

Landon's father, Jason Berry, said all of it was made possible after he realized the Ravens would be playing the Saints in New Orleans this year. While residing in Mississippi, he emailed multiple people at the Ravens' and Saints' organizations asking if Landon could meet LJ ... and someone eventually replied.

"My heart melted because I knew I was going to be able to fulfill my son's dream," Berry said in a post about the experience on his social media page, "What an unbelievable experience for Landon (one we know he will NEVER forget)."

Berry added, "What an amazing two days. I can't even put it into words how amazing."

Le'Veon Bell I Wanna Beat Hall, Be Boxing Champ ... Focused on Fighting, Not Football!

GONNA BE A CHAMP
TMZSports.com

Le'Veon Bell's decision to box former UFC fighter Uriah Hall has been questioned by many, and while almost everyone expects the former Pro Bowler to get rolled over, Bell tells us that's not how he sees it going ... he's planning to beat Hall's ass, and one day become champ!

"Honestly, I'm trying to be the best," 30-year-old Bell said when he joined Babcock on the TMZ Sports TV show (airs weekdays on FS1), adding ... "I wanna be a champion at some point."

The 5-time All-Pro is fighting 38-year-old Hall on the Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva card on Showtime PPV ... and he's a heavy underdog against the former UFC title contender (Uriah beat "Spider," Chris Weidman, Gegard Mousasi in an MMA cage)

Bell -- who beat fellow NFL star Adrian Peterson in his first pro bout in September -- knows he has to go through tough opponents like Uriah if he wants to be a champion.

"The goal I have set in mind, I have to get in the ring with guys like Uriah Hall. He has a ton of experience, he has a lot of fighting background, and the direction I'm trying to go, I gotta beat guys like that. Step in the ring and beat him and Uriah Hall is the next guy."

And, Bell isn't content with just hanging in there ... he wants to end the night with his hand raised.

"I'm going in this fight like I'm trying to win. I got a mission. Uriah Hall is a guy who's on the route of my journey. He's one of those guys I gotta get through. He's gonna be probably one of the toughest guys I done fought because I done fought obviously, I only fought Adrian Peterson, but I haven't even sparred guys with 17 years of experience like Uriah Hall."

Le'Veon was previously rumored as an opponent of Jake Paul's ... so we asked LB if he was interested in fighting the Problem Child, should they both win.

"Yeah, the interest is definitely there, whether I'm the next opponent or whoever my next opponent is. I don't know. If Jake Paul wanna be fight number 2 professionally for me, that would be perfect."

Bell continued ... "Whatever guys that make sense and they put in front of me, I gotta take those guys out and keep on climbing up the ladder, 'cause like I said, I'm trying be a champion and whoever's in my way tryna stop me from that, I'm definitely willing to fight 'em."

Le'Veon last played NFL football in 2021 with the Bucs and Ravens ... and is still only 30. So, would he play again?

Check out the clip ... Bell says there's almost no chance he'd play again, unless one very particular situation presented itself.

Ravens Rookies Freak-Out In Haunted House ... 'Get Out My Face!!!'

Ever seen two grown-ass men completely lose it in a haunted house?

Baltimore Ravens rookies Damarion "Pepe" Williams and Kyle Hamilton did exactly that when they bravely inched their way through a scary maze recently ... and it's all on video!!

The defensive backs decided to face their fears at the Bennett's Curse Haunted House out in B-More ... which has been voted one of the scariest in the world.

You can see Pepe and Hamilton try to "make it out alive" while wearing 3D glasses ... and it only took a first few steps in before the two were screaming for dear life.

Keep in mind, these two are NFL players ... but being some of the toughest dudes on the planet couldn't save them in the haunted house.

"Bro, I gotta take these glasses off," 24-year-old Williams hilariously said. "Why the walls coming out at me bro?!"

It became too much for Hamilton as monsters started jumping out of nowhere ... so, he decided to close his eyes and hold on to Pepe.

But, the best part had to be when the two were chased into a corner by a fearsome psychopath in a straight jacket during the asylum-themed portion of the maze.

"Watch out! Watch out!" Pepe yelled, "Get out my face! Don't look at him!"

Luckily, the two made it out safe and sound, but they were clearly stressed out from the whole ordeal.

"It was too dark in there for me," Pepe said. "Never thought I'd see the sunshine again, man."

"It was good, but it was bad," Hamilton added.

Kudos to these two guys for being good sports about it -- that maze looked scary!!

Ex-Ravens Star Jamal Lewis John Harbaugh's Safe ... Job Not In Jeopardy

IT'S NOT THE END
TMZSports.com

The Bills loss was no death knell for John Harbaugh, according to Jamal Lewis ... who tells TMZ Sports despite the bad defeat, the Ravens shouldn't consider canning their head coach.

Of course, a bunch of Baltimore fans felt much differently on Sunday following the 23-20 L ... as the Ravens had all of the chances in the world to pull out a victory.

They were up 20-3 late in the second quarter ... and despite blowing that huge lead, they still had opportunities at the end to pull it out, but didn't. Afterward, people called for Harbaugh's head.

Lewis, though, says it certainly ain't the right time to press the eject button ... telling us, "It was a game I felt like we should've had but as far as Harbaugh's job being taken, no."

Harbaugh has a Super Bowl win on his resume, and he owns a 139-90 record in his tenure as Ravens head man. But, he has yet to advance past the second round of the playoffs with Lamar Jackson -- something fans are heated about.

Lewis, a Ravens legend, is clearly preaching patience here ... saying the loss is "not the end."

"We're still a great football team," he said. "I think we'll learn from those mistakes."

The ex-running back tells us he thinks the team will get back on track this weekend ... when Baltimore takes on Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
