Harvey Weinstein Banned for Life from TV Academy

Published | Updated

Harvey Weinstein just got another lifetime ban handed down to him -- this time it's the TV Academy who's saying he's persona non grata ... for the rest of his days.

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences held a hearing Monday and its governing board voted to expel Weinstein from the Academy for life. His former company, The Weinstein Co., has produced a number of TV shows over the years -- most notably, perhaps, being "Project Runway."

In a statement, the Academy says it supports those women speaking out against Weinstein. They go on to say they're horrified by the widespread claims of sexual misconduct in the biz and are conducting a review of their membership codes of conduct.

The Academy finishes by saying ... "We are determined to play a role in protecting all television professionals from predatory harassment, ensuring they are able to practice their craft in a safe environment."

Weinstein has already been banned from the Producers Guild of America, and is under investigation by a handful of law enforcement agencies.

Meek Mill Violated Probation ... He's Going Back to Prison!!!

Published | Updated

Meek Mill's most recent arrests didn't sit well with the judge, who's sending the rapper to prison for a minimum of 2 years for violating probation.

Meek was in a Philadelphia court Monday when the judge ruled he'd violated probation from his 2008 drug and weapons case by getting busted for a St. Louis airport fight ... and his reckless driving arrest in NYC.

Even though both cases were dropped, the judge said the arrests alone were violations -- and gave Meek 2 to 4 years in prison. He was immediately remanded into custody.

Didn't help Meek's case that he'd previously violated probation in 2015. He got off with house arrest for that one. No such luck this time.

Johnny Depp Could Lose Homes to Repay $5 Mil Loan

Published | Updated

Johnny Depp could see 5 homes vanish from his portfolio as his ex-business managers try to get him to pay back a massive loan.

The Management Group filed docs Monday to force a sale of Depp's properties -- all of which are in L.A. -- in order to cover the $5 million TMG says it gave the actor in December 2012.

In the docs, TMG says it agreed to bail out Johnny when he owed that huge chunk of change to City National Bank ... thereby saving him from an embarrassing financial collapse. TMG says the 5 houses were collateral for the loan, and since he's stopped paying ... they want the properties.

Depp's beef with TMG started in June when he sued the company claiming it mishandled his money, and took out loans in his name ... to the tune of $40 mil.

As for the foreclosure -- first reported by Deadline -- a judge still has to sign off before TMG can give Johnny the boot.

Deion Sanders DESTROYS Tony Romo ... 'You Ain't Won Nothin'

Published | Updated

Deion Sanders destroyed Tony Romo. There's really no cute or punchy way to put it. The guy opened up his Hall of Fame mouth and ate the soul of Romo live on television.

It happened because Tony dissed Deion's tackling ability again, calling out Chiefs player Marcus Peters for not sticking his nose in a hit and saying MP "makes Deion Sanders look good in tackling."

Prime obviously had enough, 'cause he used his platform on "NFL GameDay," and pushed Romo off it ... here are some highlights.

"You're 2-4 in the playoffs, you ain't won nothing."

"I got a gold jacket that I didn't buy. Dak says hi, and bye." (That one had to hurt.)

"19 interceptions in 2012! You threw to everyone but me!"

BTW, we got Deion out a couple days ago and asked him about people (Romo) ribbing him about his tackling. If you look at him closely, you can see the storm brewing.

No response from Romo yet, but take our advice and don't throw over there.

Soccer Star Jozy Altidore Tunnel Fight with USMNT Teammate ... Police Involved

Published | Updated

A heated altercation between Jozy Altidore and his ex-USMNT teammate Sacha Kljestan escalated into a full-blown war during halftime of an MLS game this weekend -- with yelling and cussing and police ... and it was all caught on video.

It all went down at halftime during Sunday's match between Jozy's Toronto FC and Sacha's NY Red Bulls, where things were already chippy in the 1st half.

Jozy claims Sacha tried to "pull up on me while my back was turned" -- and TFC coach Greg Vanney says he was "ambushed" by 5 or 6 New York Red Bulls players in total.

Sacha's got a different take -- claiming Jozy's the one who started the fight by shoving him into a wall.

Either way, the video is crazy -- you can see players like Michael Bradley trying to keep the peace as cops and stadium security rush in to maintain order.

Both Jozy and Sacha were ejected from the game. The Red Bulls ultimately won the game 1-0.

His last tweet before the crash was about his nominee for Federal Reserve Chairman.
