JoJo Fletcher's runner-up on her season of "The Bachelorette" can't figure out how Lincoln Adim got on the show, because the screening process probes for past crimes.

We got Robby Hayes Wednesday in Venice and asked if 'Bachelorette' producers need to do better background checks on their contestants ... in light of the fact Adim's sex crime arrest 2 years ago didn't raise any flags.

As we reported ... Adim had been convicted of and sentenced for indecent assault and battery days before Becca Kufrin's season premiered in May. He'd been accused of groping and grinding on a woman during a 2016 cruise. He must now register as a sex offender.

Robby is dumbfounded on how Lincoln slipped through the cracks. He's been through the process, and told us the pointed questions every contestant has to answer ... including the ones about arrests. He says Becca deserved to know about Lincoln and producers need to tighten up the background checks.

Lil Scrappy's friend, Ca$ino Roulette, got the worst of it when they got into that horrific car accident in Florida earlier this month, and now he's preparing to sue over his extensive injuries ... TMZ has learned.

Ca$ino's attorney, Brett L. Schlacter, tells us ... Ca$ino sustained life-altering injuries and is "lucky to be alive." He feels Scrappy was negligent and reckless when he fell asleep at the wheel. Surveillance video of the crash shows they're both damn lucky.

We're told Roulette was in ICU for 3 days following the accident and is now home in South Carolina recovering from his injuries -- broken ribs, concussion, bruised lungs, liver and kidneys -- and 2 major surgeries to repair his ruptured large intestine.

Schlacter says Ca$ino's pursuing legal action to cover medical expenses, and to get compensation for life-altering injuries and significant wage loss.

Lil Scrappy tells us he has no recollection of falling asleep, but admits he might have overdone it by driving too much in one day.

Justin Bieber's head of security lucked out BIG time in his DUI case from last year -- avoiding any felony charges after allegedly injuring 2 cops and fleeing the scene.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, Bieber's chief bodyguard, Michael Arana, ended up pleading guilty to misdemeanor reckless driving. The 2 misdemeanor charges of DUI and 2 felony charges of fleeing the scene that he was originally facing were dropped.

We're told prosecutors lacked sufficient evidence to prove he'd actually left the scene of the accident. He had already pulled over -- just 150 yards from the impact -- when cops arrived on the scene. They never chased him.

You'll also recall, Arana refused to submit to a breathalyzer or blood test. Sources say Arana didn't show signs of impairment at the scene, so prosecutors dropped the DUI charge.

Jay-Z struck a deal on his debut studio album with a music biz veteran -- agreeing to pay him royalties -- but about 10 years ago the checks stopped coming and the guy wants his money ... according to a new suit.

Raynard Herbert claims he used his connections to help land Jay's Roc-A-Fella a distribution deal in 1995, which led to an agreement where he'd get 1% of sales on the famed "Reasonable Doubt" album, which he also claims to have helped master.

According to the docs ... everything was going fine with the arrangement until November 2008, the last time Herbert claims he got paid.

He says he reached out to Jay-Z's peeps in May 2010 to inquire about his missing royalty checks, and also update his address ... to no avail.

Herbert claims since then, he's not been paid his contractually promised 1% on "Reasonable Doubt." He's suing to get what he believes he's owed ... plus damages, interest and extra fees.

'Bachelorette' contestant Lincoln Adim pulled the wool over the eyes of producers during background checks for the show ... according to Warner Bros.

The studio behind the reality show just released a statement about Adim, who, as we reported earlier, was convicted last month of indecent assault and battery on a woman. However, he'd been arrested for the incident way back in May 2016.

WB says, "No one on the 'Bachelorette' production had any knowledge about the incident or charges when Lincoln Adim was cast, and he himself denied ever having engaged in or been charged with any sexual misconduct."

The statement continues, "We employ a well- respected and highly experienced third party who has done thousands of background checks consistent with industry standards to do a nationwide background check in this case. The report we received did not reference any incident or charge relating to the recent conviction - or any other charges relating to sexual misconduct."

"We are currently investigating why the report did not contain this information."

Jamie Foxx doesn't appear to have a worry in the world after being accused of slapping a woman with his penis nearly 16 years ago ... that much is clear in his body language.

Foxx was heading in to tape "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Wednesday in L.A. when he flashed the surfer's classic "hang loose" sign.

We broke the story ... a woman filed a police report with Vegas PD last week claiming Foxx hit her in the face with his genitalia in 2002 after she refused to perform oral sex on him. Jamie has vehemently denied the accusation ... and is vowing to pursue legal action against her.

For the 2nd time in his life, ex-MLB star Milton Bradley has been convicted of domestic violence ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The 40-year-old former All-Star was initially charged with misdemeanor spousal battery stemming from a January incident at his L.A. home. He was facing up to a year in jail.

His wife told responding officers Bradley roughed her up and fled the home by the time cops arrived.

Now, we've learned Bradley struck a deal with prosecutors in which he agreed to plead no contest to domestic battery and, in exchange, he was sentenced to 36 months of probation.

He is also required to complete 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling and pay various fines and fees. Bradley was also sentenced to 2 days in jail, but got credit for time served.

As part of his probation, Bradley is also not allowed to own or possess a firearm.

Cardi B's got no time to sit and answer a bunch of questions from lawyers -- not when she's in the homestretch before she pops out her first kid!

In new legal docs ... Cardi says she's "in her final month of pregnancy and about to give birth," so she needs to push back the date of a scheduled deposition. Lawyers wanna grill her for the lawsuit a guy filed, claiming she copied his back tattoo and used it for album art.

The rapper's legal team struck a deal to move her depo date from July 25 to September 7 ... so she can get a couple months of motherhood under her belt before the grilling.

For the record, Cardi defended the album cover saying the man suing isn't a match -- and neither are his tats ...

We don't know her exact due date, but as we first reported ... it's sometime in the first week of July.

1:36 PM PT -- A law enforcement source tells us ... during the alleged incident, Lincoln grabbed the woman's hands and placed them on his own chest and stomach. We're told he then allegedly groped her breasts and grinded up on the woman. It all happened on a ship called Spirit of Boston.

A contestant on the new season of "The Bachelorette" -- who's still in contention -- became a convicted criminal charged with a sex crime just a week before the premiere.

Law enforcement sources in Suffolk County, NY tell TMZ Lincoln Adim was convicted of indecent assault and battery on May 21 from an incident that occurred in 2016. Adim was accused of groping and assaulting a woman on a cruise that year.

Crazy enough, his sentence was handed down right before the new season aired on May 28. Adim was sentenced to a year behind bars, with that term being suspended for a two-year probationary period. He also has to stay away from the victim, and attend 3 AA meetings per week for those 2 years.

If he doesn't comply with the judge's terms, he'd have to serve out a year in jail. If he does ... he can avoid that. Oh, and he's also expected to register as a sex offender.

2:22 PM PT -- According to the docs -- obtained by TMZ -- the order was filed by Stan's former attorney, Tom Lallas. Lallas claims that Morgan took control of Stan's home in February and moved him to a condo in June ... he says Morgan has isolated Stan from friends and family members.

As for the incident with the gunmen, the docs claim on May 30 cops and adult protective services conducted a welfare check on Stan. Lallas says Morgan arrived to Stan's home during the welfare check but was kept out of the home by security guards. The docs claim Morgan then made a false 911 call telling cops 3 unidentified burglary suspects (the detectives) were inside with Stan and had locked everyone else out.

A judge has granted the order -- which says Morgan must stay 100 yards away -- and a hearing is scheduled for July 6.

1:33 PM PT -- Keya tells TMZ, "I have taken great care of Stan Lee for the past many years, and have never had a problem directly with Stan. I have a fantastic relationship with him for the past many years as he has stated countless times on the record and I literally saved his life once."

He continues, "This is a witchhunt by his daughter and her lawyer against me because she cannot stand the fact Stan likes me so much. I will 100% prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the allegations against me are false. And I will definitely take legal action against anyone who is making up these lies. The truth will come out."

Stan Lee has gone to court to ask for protection against his presumably soon-to-be-ex-business partner and friend, Keya Morgan.

Lee was granted a restraining order in Los Angeles on the heels of Morgan's arrest on suspicion of filing a false police report. It was reported Morgan may have lied when he called cops after two suspected gunmen allegedly showed up at Stan's Hollywood Hills home on the night of May 31 demanding money.

The case type of the newly filed docs is "Elder/Dependent Adult Abuse Prevention."

Morgan's been a constant fixture at Lee's side over the last year -- helping create videos with the Marvel legend at his home -- and accompanying him to conventions.

Stan's had a rough year ... battling pneumonia as well as money issues. He filed a BILLION dollar lawsuit last month against POW! Entertainment claiming the company took advantage of him and stole his name.

Conor McGregor has boarded a jet and is returning to the United States ... where he's scheduled to appear in an NYC courtroom to face charges for his attack on a UFC bus back in April.

McGregor is facing several criminal charges -- including felony criminal mischief -- for the April 5 incident at Barclay's Center when he threw a steel dolly at a UFC bus.

Several people were injured in the incident -- including multiple UFC fighters and staff.

Conor spent the night in jail and eventually flew back to Ireland.

But Tuesday, McGregor posted a photo in front of a private jet -- presumably the plane he'll take to return to the U.S.

McGregor is reportedly working on a plea deal with prosecutors -- and, since he's facing 7 years in prison if convicted, it's in his best interest to cut a deal.

12:18 PM PT -- Kim was just greeted at a residence in Memphis by Alice, who gave her a giant hug.

Kim Kardashian West and Alice Marie Johnson are only hours away from meeting face-to-face for the very first time after months of letters and phone calls.

Sources tell us Kim and her attorney, Shawn Holley, are currently on a private plane from L.A. to Memphis. We're told Kim will meet with Alice and her family at what's sure to be an emotional gathering to talk about Kim and Shawn's efforts that eventually got Alice out of prison.

As we reported -- Kim and her legal team have been in talks for months with Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump about Alice's situation. She traveled to the White House last month to meet with President Trump to talk prison reform and Alice's case, and a week later 45 commuted her sentence.

TMZ broke the story, Johnson -- who was sentenced in the '90s to life without parole for her involvement in a drug ring -- wrote Kardashian a heartfelt thank-you letter after learning she was working to set her free late last year.

We spoke with Alice last week, just a day after her release, who told us she's more than prepared to help Kim with cases just like hers in the future.

Jamie Foxx is being accused of slapping a woman with his penis nearly 16 years ago, and although she's now gone to police ... Foxx says it's an "absurd" lie, and he's going after her, legally ... TMZ has learned.

The alleged assault happened in Las Vegas back in 2002. According to law enforcement, the accuser told cops last week she and a friend were attending a party at Jamie's place when he tried to get her to perform oral sex. She claims when she refused, Jamie struck her in the face with his penis.

The accuser tells us ... after the alleged assault, one of Jamie's friends told her she had to get out of the house. She claims she went to a hospital the next day when she got back home to L.A. to get treatment for a severe panic attack.

Law enforcement sources tell us Vegas PD lists the case as an open investigation. However, the statute of limitations has long since run -- it's 3 years in Nevada.

Jamie's attorney, Allison Hart of Lavely & Singer, tells TMZ ... "Jamie emphatically denies that this incident ever occurred, and he will be filing a report with the Las Vegas Police Department against the woman for filing a false police report against him. The first time [Jamie] became aware of this woman's absurd claims about an incident that supposedly occurred 16 years ago was when TMZ contacted his representatives [Tuesday] about this story."

Hart adds, "The alleged incident was not reported to law enforcement in 2002, or at any other time in the last 16 years until last Friday because the incident never happened."

8:57 AM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell us Farrah got physical with the security guard after he'd asked her to leave when she got into a verbal altercation with some guests. Cops say the man reported she hit him in the face with her forearm, grabbed his ear and pushed his head as he tried preventing her from reentering the hotel. Officers noted Farrah displayed signs of intoxication during their investigation. The guard suffered minor injures and didn't go to the hospital.

7:13 AM PT -- Farrah was booked at 1:48 AM PT ... she's being held on $500 bail.

Farrah Abraham got busted at The Beverly Hills Hotel for fighting with an employee ... TMZ has learned.

The ex-'Teen Mom' and sometimes porn star was at the schmancy hotel Tuesday night and, according to law enforcement sources, she got into an argument with a male employee ... a hotel security guard. We're told things got heated, she was asked to leave and refused ... and that's when she allegedly struck the guard.

Not shockingly, we're told alcohol might be involved. A source tells us Farrah was heard playing the "I'm a celebrity" card -- yelling things like ... you should know who I am.

TMZ Sports has obtained the 911 call made by the woman who claimed Kareem Hunt shoved her at his apartment ... telling the operator, "I was assaulted and I need help."

Back in February, cops in Cleveland were called to Hunt's residence by a 19-year-old woman who said the Pro Bowl RB roughed her up.

"I was assaulted and I need help."

The operator asks the woman who assaulted her, and she responds ... "I think his first name is Kareem."

She goes on to say he's a 5'10" black male with a medium to heavy build.

As for Hunt's side ... he VEHEMENTLY denied touching the woman, and his friends told cops she was actually the one to go crazy after he asked her to leave his place ... with her screaming "F**k you, n*****!"

T.I. will need to dive into his own pockets to pay the unpaid wages of his restaurant employees who lost their jobs when it closed its doors.

Tip just settled with 9 of 11 employees who went after him after his Scales 925 shut down in 2016. Each will get $8,333.33 in unpaid money ... totaling about $75,000. The rapper is also on the hook for another $25,000 in attorney's fees -- do the math and it's right around $100,000.

As for his part -- T.I. claimed he wasn't a bad restaurant owner -- he says he put a manager in charge who siphoned money to line his own pockets.
