Fashion designer Jerry Lorenzo says Gucci's got a serious problem -- either the brand's too dumb to realize it's promoting hateful imagery ... or it's doing it on purpose.

We got the founder of streetwear label Fear of God outside Delilah in Weho Friday night, who compares the Italian fashion house's recent blackface sweater blunder to a popular scene in the 1995 film "Casino" ... and it's pretty great.

Jerry's take is Gucci's at fault no matter how you slice it, because it's either not socially conscious of how an item like this would be perceived ... or it's flat-out being racist intentionally.

And, it's a bad look regardless.

Lorenzo thinks Gucci will recover, though -- despite calls for a boycott by Spike Lee and T.I. -- because that's just the nature of the news cycle these days.

What's the best way to highlight the features of models like Emily Ratajkowski and Bella Hadid ... well, for one fashion designer, the answer is covering their amazing bodies and making them look like loofahs.

Yes, somewhere under all that fabric lurks the smokin' hot bods of Emily, Bella and other gorgeous models walking the runway Friday at the Tomo Koizumi show.

You never know what you're gonna see at New York Fashion Week ... and we gotta admit, we weren't expecting to see the world's hottest supermodels covered up and looking like they're ready to take the runway to the shower.

Oh, and notice the short hair ... no word on if Edward Scissorhands was consulting.

3:17 PM PT -- T.I. just weighed in on the controversy, saying he's going to stop buying Gucci and also calling on people to boycott the brand. The rapper says he's been spending seven figures on Gucci for several years, but that ends now.

T.I. went on a long rant, saying he's not accepting Gucci's apology and accusing the company of purposefully being disrespectful and racist. He ended his rant by saying, "I Don't Give a F*** if I gotta wear Target brand s***."

Spike Lee's had it with Prada and Gucci's racist blackface blunders ... so he's boycotting the luxury brands until they hire some black designers to keep them in check.

The "BlacKkKlansman" director announced he's no longer going to wear either Prada or Gucci Friday in wake of yet another blackface controversy from the Italian Fashion houses. If you missed it, Gucci got dragged this week over an $890 blackface sweater.

Spike says he's done with both brands "Until They Hire Some Black Designers 'To Be In Da Room When It Happens.''' He added ... "It's Obvious To Da Peoples That They Don't Have A Clue When It Comes To Racist, Blackface Hateful Imagery. WAKE UP."

Gucci apologized for its ridiculously offensive balaclava jumper and says it's been pulled from all stores. It also vowed to increase diversity across the company ... but Spike's clearly taking a wait and see approach.

As for Prada, you might recall its high-end Manhattan shop put a purse in its window in December with this "Sambo" figurine attached. It was also quickly pulled after cries of racism.

Still, both incidents beg the question ... who the hell's watching the shop???

Spike thinks he knows the answer, and says more black staffers have to be on board to help end the "coonery and buffoonery."

We reached out to both brands -- Prada has no comment and Gucci has yet to reply.

Pusha T is just like his partner in music, Kanye West, because we've learned he just signed a new partnership deal with Adidas that will line the rapper's pockets with stacks of cash.

Our sources say Pusha T is signing a new multi-year deal with the sportswear company, and we're told it's worth millions of dollars.

Pusha T and Adidas will continue working together developing products and content ... and it's the next big step for the rapper in his longstanding relationship with the stripes.

As you know ... his good buddy Kanye also hooked up with Adidas -- after Pusha, for the record -- and Ye famously said he's the "single highest paid person in footwear" ... claiming he's pulling in more cash than even Michael Jordan!

Pusha and Adidas started working together back in 2012, but the Grammy-nominated rap artist is gearing up to make an even bigger splash. Adidas says Pusha will be heavily involved with their EQT footwear series.

Kourtney Kardashian's dialing her fashion all the way back to the Renaissance period ... a shout out to Leonardo da Vinci that may or may not have him rolling in his grave.

The reality star stepped out Friday in NYC wearing this catsuit with the famous image of Mona Lisa plastered from neck to toe. She also flaunted some old-school Doc Martens. So, maybe she's going for a grunge look ... elevated even further by a trench coat.

Kanye West was a forgery victim and the cost is huge ... nearly $1 MILLION ... sources tell TMZ.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ, a guy Ye knew secretly contacted Philipp Plein, who is staging a big New York Fashion Week event this coming Monday. The guy misrepresented himself to Plein as Kanye's rep and began negotiations for Kanye to perform ... at a STEEP price.

Plein apparently fell for it hook, line and sinker, and they made a deal wherein Kanye would supposedly pocket 7 figures and, in return, he would perform at the NYFW show.

It gets worse. We're told the guy forged Kanye's name on the contract and then had a $900,000 advance wired to an account ... which the guy promptly cleaned out.

Kanye's not performing at the show, and Plein is now out a pretty penny.

As for the guy who committed the alleged fraud ... we're told he's a former friend and associate of G.O.O.D. Music.

We have not been able to reach Plein for comment, but it's a good bet he'll take some sort of legal action.

Cam Newton and Odell Beckham teamed up Wednesday night ... for fashion!!

The superstar quarterback and the All-Pro receiver hit Harlem's Fashion Row Special Event during New York Fashion Week on Wednesday ... and yeah, they looked as swaggy as ever.

Cam donned a tan trench coat, a black hat, sunglasses and a bandana ... while Odell killed it in what appears to be a fit inspired by Dwayne Johnson's infamous fanny pack pic (sans fanny pack).

We know what you're thinking ... but this ain't a preview of a possible NFL trade -- both guys are locked into long-term deals with the Panthers and Giants.

Roger Stone ain't letting his federal indictment keep him from a fresh 'do, and he just happened to be at the salon at the same time as Oscar winner Marlee Matlin. God, his hair's famous.

Marlee couldn't resist snapping this shot Wednesday morning where you clearly see President Trump's former campaign adviser posted up mid-styling sesh, rocking a smock. As she put it, "Sometimes you see the most unexpected people at the salon. #Nowords"

As you know, Roger is big into fashion and he's no stranger to snazzy outfits -- although he might be limited to orange jumpsuits in the future.

Stone's salon trip comes on the heels of his arrest during an FBI raid at his Florida home, and indictment by special counsel Robert Mueller.

Roger famously stumped for money after his arrest, claiming he didn't have the dough to pay off his mounting legal bills -- but it looks like he's got enough cash to get his hair done!

2/5 10:43 AM PT-- PETA held a protest outside CBS Tuesday morning in NYC, holding the network responsible for airing Big Boi's fur-lined Super Bowl performance.

Big Boi's Super Bowl halftime performance is drawing penalty flags -- not for the music (see Maroon 5) -- but for his fur coat, which PETA wants to take off his back and donate to the homeless.

We've learned PETA fired off a stern letter Monday to Big Boi, even addressing him by his real name -- Antwan -- like a disappointed parent. In the letter, the animal rights group tries to convince the Outkast rapper to retire all of his furs and switch to faux.

PETA says it knows exactly what to do with Big Boi's luxury fur -- which it believes to be fox -- offering to distribute it to homeless shelters in America or Syrian refugees.

Taking it a step further, PETA says it's sending him a "gorgeous" faux fur for him to flaunt.

PETA tells us a coat the size of Big Boi's costs an estimated 25 red foxes their lives, and points out the animals are electrocuted or have their necks broken ... purely for fashion.

We've reached out to Big to confirm his coat was genuine fur, but no word back. PETA says it hasn't gotten a response from him yet either.

Conor McGregor is BACK in America -- this time, no violence ... just cuteness!!

The UFC superstar and his 1-year-old son, Conor Jr., just arrived at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, in matching purple suits ... and they're both STYLIN'!!!

Conor is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan -- he became with friends with Jerry Jones in 2018 -- but since they're not in the big game, unclear who Conor will be rooting for.

One thing's for sure ... Conor ain't missing an opportunity to flash his mug at the biggest sporting ever of the year!!

Kanye West handed over all his MAGA hats -- apparently boxes of 'em -- to his pal GLC, and according to the rapper Ye's never wearing it again ... but it wasn't all bad.

The G.O.O.D. Music rapper sat down for "The Red Pill Podcast with Van Lathan" and insists Kanye gave him his word he'll stop demonstrating his support for President Trump by wearing the hat. GLC says they had a convo about it a few weeks ago.

That's interesting ... because on New Year's Day, Kanye went on a pro-Trump rant that ended with him praising the MAGA hat and vowing to wear it when he performs from now on.

GLC suggests he's had a change of heart and although he seems pleased Kanye's decided to stop wearing it, he points out there was a major silver lining to his friend putting on the hat.

Watch ... we're thinking Kim Kardashian, Alice Marie Johnson and thousands of prisoners might agree.

Forget diamond Super Bowl rings ... Sean McVay's smokin' hot GF is opting for crystals for Sunday's big game -- 'cause she just got a custom jacket made with 4,000 of 'em in it!!!

TMZ Sports has learned Veronika Khomyn hit up Leah Miller at Bella Artistry to have a one-of-a-kind piece made to cheer on her BF during the Rams-Pats game ... and the fit came out GREAT.

We're told, the satin bomber jacket was hand-cut and hand-sewn ... and had 4,000 Swarovski crystals hand-placed into it.

The jacket also features a "Mob Squad" patch and a whole bunch of Rams logos ... and, in total, took about 14 HOURS to complete.

We're told similar jackets run for around $1,000 ... and Khomyn completed the outfit by adding a custom Rams hat that featured 600 crystals hand-set into it!!!

"Bad Girls Club" star Tanisha Thomas couldn't resist a good fight at her friend's wedding reception.

The incident went down over the weekend in Maui after ex-'BGC' star Amber Meade and Alen Aivazian tied the knot. At the reception the bride, rather than throwing a bouquet at all the single ladies, subbed in an Ophidia mini Gucci round shoulder bag -- valued at around $1,400.

Check it out ... the winner at first appears to be Amber's junior bridesmaid/niece, Madelyn Sherod. But, her bounty was short-lived because a woman snatched the bag from behind. That's when Tanisha tries her hand at some street justice ... tackling the woman to get the purse back, to no avail.

After the dust settles ... you see Amber embrace the bag snatcher. We're told the Gucci bag bully woke up with some bruising ... but added it was worth it.

He looks like he's straight outta "Kingpin" ... but pro bowler Kyle Troup is very much the REAL DEAL -- and when he hit a strike in a PBA tourney, he busted out one of the grooviest celebrations ever.

Troup -- sporting the kind of afro that would make Bob Ross proud -- was competing in the Lubbock Sports Open over the weekend ... when he started throwing rocks in the 2nd frame.

Out came the hair pick -- fused with some swaggy dance moves -- and it started the momentum that turned the match his way.

The 25th SAG Awards is in full swing, and if you take a peek behind the scenes ... you'll see everyone was dressed to the nines and beyond for this thing.

Tons of actors were on hand Sunday for the award show honoring folks in the SAG-AFTRA union, and nobody skimped on the swank -- including Michael B. Jordan (who wore a colorful Louis Vuitton harness over his tux), Lady Gaga who dazzled in a white gown, Viggo Mortensen who killed it with maroon ... and lots and lots of other stars who brought out their best outfits.

Some other standouts ... Chris Pine in the classic all-white tux, Sandra Oh who donned a gorgeous red gown, Darren Criss who sizzled in silver and, frankly, the entire "Black Panther" cast ... who looked absolutely incredible together in the front row.
