Diddy Horrified Hotel Apologizes For Calling Him Cheapskate

Published | Updated

The Dream NY knows where its bread is buttered ... it's now groveling -- BEGGING for forgiveness after its own bar slammed Diddy for stiffing its waitress on Super Bowl Sunday.

Honchos at Dream say they are "embarrassed and offended" by the Facebook post of an employee who works at The Bar inside the hotel. The employee tore the rap mogul a new one, saying, "Thanks Sean Combs aka P. Diddy for leaving no tip on Super Bowl Sunday."

We just found out ... the employee responsible for the post -- like the Broncos -- got sacked.

This is disastrous for the hotel, because Dream is a mecca for rappers, and Diddy is one of their Gods.

The Hotel execs say, 'We look forward to welcoming you back soon."

We called Diddy. No word if he's accepting the mea culpa.

Warren Sapp to Creditors: You're Not Taking My Surf Board!

Published | Updated

You can't separate a man from his surf board ... even during an extreme financial wipeout ... at least according to Warren Sapp who BOUGHT BACK his old board in the middle of his bankruptcy crisis.

We broke the story ... a trustee seized Sapp's most valuable possessions to sell off as part of his bankruptcy case in 2012 -- including his huge Air Jordan collection and other personal items.

But according to new docs, filed on January 31, 2014 ... Sapp managed to scrape together enough cash to buy BACK several items that were seized ... including his surf board, his University of Miami Hall of Fame ring and his High School championship ring.

There's more -- Sapp also bought back his pool table, golf clubs, sound system, computer stuff and several pieces of sports memorabilia.

In total, Sapp paid $7,812.50 to buy back his old stuff -- and the money went toward paying back his creditors to whom Sapp owed millions of dollars.

So, where did Sapp get the cash to buy back his stuff? Any money that he's made in a contract he signed AFTER declaring bankruptcy is off-limits to creditors ... so, he can stay afloat.

Bankruptcy -- it's gnarly, dude.

'Nick & Norah's' Star Allegedly Kicked GF, Broke Her Cell Phone, Threatened to Kill Her

Published | Updated

The gay singer from "Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist" didn't just brutally attack his real-life GF before his double arrest in December ... he also destroyed her bedroom and threatened multiple times to kill ... this according to the police report obtained by TMZ.

Rafi Gavron's GF told cops, the December 14 argument was triggered by Rafi's cocaine problem -- he demanded money from her and she refused ... so he went ballistic.

The GF said she hid her money and credit cards in her bedroom. In retaliation, Rafi punched her with both fists and slapped her across the face several times, then pushed her to the ground and kicked her in the stomach.

The GF says it wasn't over ... Rafi destroyed her bedroom, ransacking her dresser and closet and then kicking her mirror, breaking it. When she tried to phone police, she says Rafi grabbed her phone, threw it on the ground, shattering it to pieces, and repeatedly threatened to kill her.

The girlfriend says she managed to escape and ask a neighbor to phone police ... but Rafi took off in her car. She was taken to a nearby L.A. hospital with minor injuries, including marks on her legs and back.

As we reported, Rafi was subsequently pulled over in his girlfriend's car and arrested for DUI. Hours later he was released from jail hours and immediately arrested AGAIN for domestic violence.

Sportscaster Sex Tape Jayne Kennedy's Ex-Hubby Suing I Didn't Leak Our Sex Tape!!

Published | Updated

Leon Kennedy -- who co-starred in a real life sex tape with legendary sportscaster Jayne Kennedy back in the '80s -- is suing the people behind Ebony magazine claiming they falsely ID'd him as the man who leaked the infamous XXX footage to the media.

In case you're unaware, the sex tape featuring Leon and Jayne is widely considered the grand-daddy of the celebrity sex tape ... since Leon was a big actor at the time (starring in a ton of blaxploitation flicks) and Jayne was a commentator on "NFL Today."

They divorced in the early '80s ... and years later, the sex tape mysteriously surfaced (you can still find the footage online ... it's super grainy).

Recently, Ebony magazine published an article in which Leon claims he was wrongly fingered as the source of the leak.

Leon -- now an ordained minister who preaches around the globe -- is furious claiming the mag straight up lied when it wrote that he "viciously leaked" the tape. He insists the tape was stolen by an unidentified 3rd party and distributed without consent from Leon or Jayne.

Now, Leon is now gearing up to file a lawsuit against Ebony ... and he's out for blood.

Leon says the story has damaged him both professionally and emotionally -- and now, he wants more than $1 MILLION to make things right ... including $4,546.05 for out of pocket medical expenses caused by stress and anxiety from the article.

We reached out to Ebony magazine -- but were unable to reach anyone for comment.

2014 Olympics Budweiser BAILS on Sochi We're Not Comfortable There

Published | Updated

There's no Bud for you, Sochi ... TMZ Sports has learned Budweiser has decided to NOT throw its traditional Winter Olympics party this year and it's all because the company is not comfortable with the situation in Russia.

In the past, Budweiser was known for hosting huge parties -- like the Club Bud bashes during the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver and at the 2006 Olympics in Turin.

But we've learned ... the King of Beers has decided it won't be throwing a similar party at the '14 Games ... at least, that's the plan for now.

In fact, we've seen an email from a Budweiser rep which says the company does not want its U.S.-based representatives in Sochi ... and the message is clear -- the terrorist threat is simply looming too large.

A rep for Anheuser-Busch confirms to TMZ Sports ... there will be no Club Bud in Sochi -- but the rep didn't give a reason for why the company is not throwing the party.

Diddy to Waitress Here's Your Tip Bet On Seattle

Published | Updated

Diddy and his entourage rang up a $200 tab at a NYC bar during the Super Bowl ... then STIFFED their waitress on the tip ... according to the bar which is now publicly shaming the multi-millionaire.

Employees say on Sunday Sean Combs and his friends were at The Bar located in the Dream Hotel ... and when the bar manager asked Diddy if he was receiving good service ... Diddy said everything was A-ok.

But when it came time to pay ... staffers say Diddy left a giant goose egg for gratuity.

Now The Bar is calling him out ... ridiculing him on its Facebook page -- "Although [Diddy's] Net worth is in the millions, he felt it necessary to stiff a hard working young girl for $40 bucks. What a gentleman....!!!"

Of course it's possible Diddy thought, for once, someone else in his entourage would pick up the tab. We've reached out to him ... so far no response.

Paul Walker Will Had BIG Mistake But In Death It All Works Out

Published | Updated

Paul Walker's will was poorly drafted ... making it SEEM like he wanted his mom to wrestle parental control of his daughter from his baby mama-- yet in a strange twist of events, the will now reflects exactly what Paul would have wanted.

Paul's will was drafted back in 2001 ... and it makes his mother Cheryl the legal guardian of Meadow. It reeks of a family feud because there's no mention of Meadow's mother Rebecca Soteros.

The guardianship clause doesn't make sense ... because at the time the will was drafted Meadow lived with her mom in Hawaii .... and sources close to Paul say he was happy with the arrangement when he signed the will.

Now the twist of fate. Three years ago Meadow moved to Southern California to live with her dad and Rebecca stayed in Hawaii. Meadow wants to continue living in So. Cal. and Rebecca is fine with it ... she will continue to live in the Aloha state.

So now it makes complete sense for Paul's mom Cheryl to become the guardian of Meadow.

As TMZ first reported ... Paul's father -- executor of the will -- has petitioned the court to make Paul's mom guardian of Meadow. Cheryl will also be the trustee of Paul's $25 million estate -- which will eventually go outright to Meadow.

So ... Father did know best.

DMX Yes, I Agreed to Fight George Zimmerman But I Wanna Talk Money First

Published | Updated

Hold off on placing your wagers ... money has become a big snag in George Zimmerman's boxing match against DMX -- the rapper's rep tells TMZ, contract negotiations are STILL ongoing ... so the fight isn't official ... yet.

The rep Domenick Nati tells us, DMX verbally agreed to "beat Zimmerman's ass" ... IF and when he sees the terms of a contract ... which hasn't happened yet. Once an agreement has been finalized, we're told DMX will officially be down for the bout.

As we reported last night, the boxing promoter behind the fight released a statement, announcing DMX would face George Zimmerman in a 3-round match.

Zimmerman plans to donate any money he makes to charity ... but our guess ... DMX won't be so generous.

Lane Kiffin I CAN'T STOP LOSING IN CALI Coach Takes Hit in Real Estate Deal

Published | Updated

Lane Kiffin must really be in a hurry to get the hell out of CA ... 'cause TMZ Sports has learned, the 'Bama bound coach just got HOSED on the smaller of his two West Coast properties.

The Crimson Tide's new offensive coordinator had plunked down $825K for the 1,813 square foot townhouse back in 2006, when he was an O.C. for USC.

But a few months after he got the chop from SC last year, Lane put the pad up for sale.

The 3-bedroom El Segundo condo ain't exactly as nice as the $5 million Manhattan Beach mansion that USC helped him buy ... but it's not too shabby as a second home for a college football coach.

Kiffin was originally asking $745,000 for the place ... but according to our friends at Realtor.Com, Lane ultimately let it go for $737,500 -- taking a $87,500 loss.

Winning never really was Lane's specialty in SoCal.

Philip Seymour Hoffman made multiple cash withdrawls from a supermarket ATM -- totaling $1200 -- the day before his death ... this according to law enforcement sources.

TMZ has confirmed Hoffman withdrew the money in six transactions inside the Manhattan supermarket.

Also ... police did not find the infamous "deadly heroin" in Hoffman's apartment. The mix of the powerful painkiller fentanyl and heroin caused dozens of deaths on the East coast this year ... but it was not among the drugs scattered around the apartment.

Hoffman's autopsy results are expected soon ... though toxicology -- which will reveal what drugs were in his system -- will take longer.
