SoFi Stadium 49ers Fan Out of Coma After 5 Weeks ... Following Parking Lot Beatdown

Published

Daniel Luna -- the 40-year-old 49ers fan who was brutally beaten in the SoFi Stadium parking lot during the NFC Championship game -- is out of a medically-induced coma 5 weeks after the incident, his family announced this week.

Luna remains hospitalized, but the hope is he will be able to return home later this month. His current condition was not disclosed, according to CBS LA.

As we previously reported, Inglewood mayor James Butts claims surveillance footage of the parking lot altercation shows Luna (wearing a Niners jersey) shove a Rams fan from behind. Butts says the Rams fan appeared to retaliate by pushing Luna and punching him in the face ... causing him to fall to the ground.

WE'VE IDENTIFIED A SUSPECT

Stadium security then discovered Luna injured and unconscious in the parking lot about 30 minutes after the NFC title game kicked off ... and he was transported to a nearby hospital.

The suspect -- 33-year old Bryan Alexis Cifuentes-Rossell -- was arrested after he was eventually tracked down via surveillance footage that started in the SoFi parking lot.

On Wednesday, the L.A. District Attorney announced Cifuentes-Rossell is being charged with one felony count of battery with serious bodily injury.

Cifuentes-Rossell is due in court in August.

Report: Jerry Jones Sued By Woman ... Claims Cowboys Owner Is Her Dad

Published

A woman is suing Jerry Jones ... reportedly alleging the Dallas Cowboys owner is her father, and claiming that he paid a small fortune years ago to keep everything quiet.

The lawsuit was filed in a Dallas County court on March 3, records show. Documents in the case, however, have since been sealed.

ESPN says it obtained a copy of the lawsuit prior to its sealing ... and the outlet reports the woman, Alexandra Davis, alleged in the docs that Jones "courted" her mother, Cynthia Davis Spencer, in 1995.

Alexandra reportedly claims Jones pursued Davis Spencer while she worked in Little Rock, Arkansas for American Airlines ... and had Alexandra a short time later.

Documents reportedly show Jones, who's now 79 years old, denied he was the father ... but nonetheless paid Davis Spencer $375K "in exchange for confidentiality" when Alexandra was just a 1-year-old.

Alexandra also claimed in the docs, per ESPN, that Donald Jack, an Arkansas lawyer and Jones' friend, set up trusts for Alexandra and her mom to keep "Jones' paternity a secret."

ESPN reports that in her suit, Alexandra, now 25 years old and living in Washington D.C., is asking the court to recognize her as the NFL owner's daughter. She's also reportedly asking to be free of the agreement that she says Jones and her mom agreed to when she was an infant.

Alexandra reportedly said in the docs that she "has lived her life fatherless and in secret and in fear that if she should tell anyone who her father was, she and her mother would lose financial support, or worse."

"[Alexandra] has had to spend her entire life hiding and concealing who her real father is," Alexandra's attorney added in the lawsuit, according to ESPN. "Defendant Jones' only role in Plaintiff's life to date other than to shun her, has been to coerce her from ever disclosing his identity."

We reached out to both Alexandra's attorney and Jones' attorneys for comment ... but so far, no word back from either yet.

Jones bought the Dallas Cowboys in 1989. His net worth is reportedly $10.7 billion.

Seahawks' Rasheem Green DK Could Take Tyreek Hill In Race ... I'm Confident In My Teammate!!!

Published | Updated

At least one person thinks DK Metcalf could take Tyreek Hill in a sprint ...

Seahawks defensive lineman Rasheem Green tells TMZ Sports he's confident his teammate would beat Hill if the two ended up racing this offseason.

"I might have to take DK," Green told us last week outside of JLT Performance GYM. "I like DK."

No word yet on if the two NFL stars have actually set something up -- but they've both been vocal about making sure it eventually goes down.

STILL GOT SPEED

Remember, DK told us last month he'd dust Hill -- and the Chiefs wideout responded a short time later on Twitter essentially telling him to bring it on.

DK's battling a foot injury, so the race wouldn't be able to happen for at least a few months -- but check out Green's evaluation on the potential tilt, he seems to think his Seattle buddy will win it.

So, when that foot heals up ... let's get to a track ASAP!?

Carson Wentz Traded To Washington

Published | Updated

Another NFL QB is on the move ... the Indianapolis Colts have agreed to trade Carson Wentz to the Washington Commanders.

Adam Schefter just reported the news ... saying the Colts will receive "a package of picks" that will include third-rounders for the signal-caller.

It's the second time in the last year that Wentz has been traded -- you'll recall, the Philadelphia Eagles sent him to Indy in March 2021 for draft picks as well.

Wentz had an up-and-down year in his one and only season with the Colts. Battling injuries, he started 17 games and threw for 3,563 yards, 27 TDs and 7 INTs. Indianapolis ended up missing out on the playoffs following a devastating Week 18 loss to the Jaguars.

Wentz will now be the presumed starter in Washington, as Taylor Heinicke will most likely fall into the backup role.

As for Wentz's potential in D.C. ... TMZ Sports spoke with his former tight end in Indy, Mo Alie-Cox, just days ago outside of JLT Performance Gym in Los Angeles, and he told us he was confident Wentz still has the goods to get a team to the Super Bowl.

The trade marks the second time this week that a big-name QB has swapped squads ... the Seahawks just sent Russell Wilson to Denver on Tuesday.

Russell Wilson One Of The Worst Trades in NFL History ... Says Jeweler Ben Baller

WORST TRADE IN HISTROY

The Russell Wilson trade to the Broncos shocked a lot of people ... but it pissed off famed celebrity jeweler Ben Baller ... who calls it one of the worst trades in NFL history.

Ben -- a huge Seahawks fan -- spoke with TMZ Sports just hours after the trade that sent the 9x Pro Bowl QB and a fourth-round pick to Denver in exchange for 3 players, 2 first-round picks, 2 second-round picks and a fifth-round.

"One of the worst trades in NFL history," Ben said Tuesday in Studio City, "and definitely the worst trade in Seahawks history."

Ben's also not too fond of swapping Wilson for QB Drew Lock ... saying there's no way the former Mizzou star is a starting QB.

FYI, Lock has started 21 games for Denver since 2019 -- throwing 25 TD's (he also ran for 5), and 20 interceptions. He's been sacked 33 times.

"C'mon bro. Like if he suits up, I'm gonna throw tomatoes at this guy," Ben said.

The 49-year-old basically says he wants anyone but Lock ... and even throughout a few potential Wilson replacements.

"I'm hoping that we may pick up Deshaun Watson, somehow someway we manifest that. I'd rather have Geno Smith. There's no way that Drew Lock is gonna be QB1 for us," Ben says.

"How do you replace a Hall of Famer?!"

Ben believes the 33-year-old QB could bring the Lombardi Trophy back to Denver -- something that hasn't happened since 2016 with Peyton Manning.

"I think so, bro," Ben tells us, "It's not far-fetched."

Sorry, 'Hawks fans.

LOW CAL' AND LOCAL

From Super Bowl champion ... to champion of beers?!

Troy Aikman tells TMZ Sports he's gunning to do just that ... explaining he's hoping his new, ultra-healthy beer line he's launched shakes up the booze industry.

The Dallas Cowboys legend and three-time SB winner is still super fit at 55 years old ... and when he set out to create a new line of suds recently, he wanted to make sure it matched his healthy lifestyle.

So, Troy tells us he spent loads of time perfecting the ingredients and the taste -- and he ultimately came up with "Eight" beer, which he says is now one of the best products on the market for health nuts looking to enjoy the occasional glass or two.

"It's a lifestyle brand is what it is," Troy said of the beer. "I work out. I'm very mindful of my health and wellness and what I put in my body, but yet I also feel that there are moments in life -- times with friends and family -- that need to be celebrated."

"This beer doesn't compromise all the hard work and effort that's put in during the week, and that's why I like it."

Troy tells us there's no adjuncts in the booze -- it's free of corn, rice, syrups and extra sugars -- saying it's made of simply "100 percent organic grains."

Troy says the can -- which has a cool design that's a nod to his old jersey number -- comes with just 90 calories and 2.6 carbs.

Aikman says the beer is only available in a few restaurants and bars in Texas for now -- though it'll hit store shelves in the Lone Star State beginning in April.

And, if it all goes well after that, Troy tells us his fingers are crossed that it goes nationwide at some point.

"I sure hope we do," Aikman said. "I hope we do. That'd be a good conversation."

Full interview airs tonight on the "TMZ Sports" TV show on FS1 ... where Aikman talks the Russell Wilson blockbuster trade, Calvin Ridley's suspension for betting on football, and Aaron Rodgers returning to the Packers.

Aaron Rodgers Spotted Again W/ Shailene Woodley Touch Down In Palm Beach

Published | Updated

If there was any doubt Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley were back together, this should erase it -- the couple was seen Monday after landing in south Florida, walking side-by-side away from a private jet.

38-year-old Rodgers and 30-year-old Woodley were photographed getting off the PJ in Palm Beach ... where we're told they only stayed for about 5 hours, before departing on the jet.

It's unclear why they were in town.

Aaron and Shailene aren't exactly packing on the PDA -- there's no hand-holding, kissing or even smiling -- but let's be real, they've been inseparable in the weeks following reports of their breakup.

AR and SW attended David Bakhtiari's wedding together (Aaron officiated the ceremony). They were also recently seen at a food market in Los Angeles.

Throw in Aaron's mushy Instagram post a few weeks back ... and it's clear the couple has rekindled their romance.

Arron and Shailene began dating in mid-2020 ... shortly after Rodgers broke up with Danica Patrick.

The back-to-back NFL MVP shocked many people when he announced they were engaged during the NFL's award show in 2021.

It's unclear if the engagement is back on (Shailene isn't wearing a ring -- but she often didn't when they were known to be engaged) ... but it's probably safe to say they're at least boyfriend and girlfriend.

Russell Wilson Traded To Denver Broncos

Published | Updated
UPDATE

11:25 AM PT -- The Broncos are reportedly sending 3 players -- Lock, tight end Noah Fant, and defensive lineman Shelby Harris -- plus 2 first-round picks, 2 second-round picks and a fifth-round pick to Seattle in exchange for Wilson and a fourth-round pick.

Russell Wilson's days in Seattle are over ... the Seahawks have just agreed to trade the star quarterback to the Denver Broncos.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero just broke the news ... saying the 'Hawks received a "massive haul" of draft picks and players to make the move.

The Broncos celebrated the impending deal with a hilarious Tom Hanks "Wilson!" GIF just minutes after the report dropped.

Unclear on how many first-rounders the Seahawks will receive in the deal or which players will be sent over for the quarterback ... but Pelissero reported QB Drew Lock will be at least one of the players headed to the Pacific Northwest in the trade.

Wilson was initially picked by the Seahawks in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft ... and he went on to become arguably the franchise's best QB ever.

The 33-year-old won one Super Bowl with the team and made nine Pro Bowls ... and he also piled up a 104-53-1 record in 10 seasons.

Wilson had said just days ago that he was happy in Seattle -- explaining during an interview with "Today" that he thought the city was "great." Wilson, though, had reportedly been looking into a trade for a while, reportedly at one point targeting the Bears, Cowboys, Raiders and Saints as possible next destinations.

No word yet on how his wife, Ciara, feels about the move ... but somebody needs to check on huge Seahawks/Russ fan Joel McHale ASAP!!

Aaron Rodgers Back With The Pack!!! ... Not Retiring After All

Published | Updated
UPDATE

11:50 AM PT -- Aaron Rodgers is breaking his silence on his return to Green Bay ... saying he's "very excited to be back" ... but shutting down several details surround the deal.

UPDATE

"Hey everyone, just wanted to clear some things up," Rodgers tweeted. "YES I will be playing with the @packers next year, however, reports about me signing a contract are inaccurate, as are the supposed terms of the contract I 'signed.'"

UPDATE

Rodgers didn't specify the correct numbers ... but it's only a matter of time until we find out.

Breathe easy, Green Bay ... Aaron Rodgers is coming back.

The star quarterback's BFF Pat McAfee just announced the news ... saying, according to sources, Rodgers is slated to return to the Packers for at least the 2022 season.

McAfee said the 38-year-old seriously considered retirement -- but ultimately chose to return to Wisconsin after all.

McAfee added that reports of a new, mega, 4-year, $200 MILLION contract for the QB were "not accurate" -- though the ex-NFL player did not elaborate on what Rodgers' new deal (if there is one) will be.

As we reported, Rodgers had been feuding with Green Bay brass prior to the 2021 season -- upset over a variety of personnel moves -- and many felt it would ultimately be his final one in the green and yellow.

But, the two sides appeared to build a bridge throughout the 17-game season ... and Rodgers seemed much happier with the org. in recent months.

Rodgers is coming off his second straight MVP award -- and his recommitment to the team is expected to sway star receiver Davante Adams to return as well.

Antonio Brown Kanye West And I ... 'Extremely Serious' About Buying Denver Broncos

GUNNIN' FOR A GRAMMY

Antonio Brown says he and Kanye West are dead serious about their efforts to buy the Denver Broncos ... telling TMZ Sports they're working hard to get a real deal done.

Brown and Ye have become best buds ever since the NFL star was booted from the Buccaneers in January -- and in their newfound bromance, Ye named Brown the president of one of his biggest ventures, Donda Sports.

And, as one of Brown's first actions in the exec role, he said back in February he wanted to purchase the Broncos.

When we got the free agent receiver out in Los Angeles just days ago, he told us the goal is still on their minds, and it's a legitimate one, explaining he and Ye are "extremely serious" about making it all happen.

"Tell Roger [Goodell] to call me," Brown said. "We're working on it ... We're working towards getting it done."

The Broncos just recently went up for sale, and many believe the price tag to ultimately land the team could be around $4 BILLION. If somehow the two are able to get that change together, a sale to Ye and Brown would also have to be approved by the rest of the owners in the league.

In the meantime, while they work on getting a deal in Denver done, Brown and Ye have more immediate goals of rockin' the Rolling Loud music festival in Miami in July.

Brown promised the two would put on a show at Hard Rock Stadium -- and added that he's hopeful his connection with Ye someday leads to a Grammy.

NFL Star Calvin Ridley Suspended Entire 2022 Season ... For Betting On Games

Published | Updated
UPDATE

1:21 PM PT -- According to NFL reporter Albert Breer, Ridley did bet on the Falcons -- but did not bet against them.

UPDATE

Breer added that Ridley placed the wagers between Nov. 23 to Nov. 28 -- over two weeks after he was placed on the NFI list.

UPDATE

1:03 PM PT -- Ridley just tweeted about the ban, admitting he bet $1,500 ... though he insisted he does not "have a gambling problem."

UPDATE

The NFL has just banned Atlanta Falcons star receiver Calvin Ridley for the ENTIRE 2022 season ... after investigators say he bet on games.

The league just announced the suspension ... saying in a statement Ridley bet on NFL games in the 2021 season "during a five-day period in late November."

Ridley was away from the team on the non-football illness list at the time of the betting, the NFL said in a statement.

The league added that an investigation showed there were no signs "that any game was compromised in any way."

"There is nothing more fundamental to the NFL's success -- and to the reputation of everyone associated with our league -- than upholding the integrity of the game," commissioner Roger Goodell said in a letter to Ridley notifying him of the ban.

"This is the responsibility of every player, coach, owner, game official, and anyone else employed in the league. Your actions put the integrity of the game at risk, threatened to damage public confidence in professional football, and potentially undermined the reputations of your fellow players throughout the NFL."

Goodell continued, "For decades, gambling on NFL games has been considered among the most significant violations of league policy warranting the most substantial sanction. In your case, I acknowledge and commend you for your promptly reporting for an interview, and for admitting your actions."

The NFL noted Ridley can apply for reinstatement in February 2023.

Ridley is widely regarded as one of the best receivers in the NFL -- piling up 3,342 receiving yards in just 49 games. He missed most of last season while battling mental health issues.

Richard Sherman Cuts Plea Deal In Trespass Case ... Gets No Jail Time

Published | Updated

NFL star Richard Sherman just cut a plea deal with prosecutors to close out his infamous trespass case ... and TMZ Sports has learned as part of the agreement, he won't have to serve any more time behind bars if he keeps his nose clean going forward.

According to court documents, Sherman pleaded guilty to one count of negligent driving and one count of criminal trespass on Monday.

In exchange, Sherman was sentenced to 90 days in jail, though he was given credit for 2 days time served, and the remaining 88 days are suspended.

Sherman was also sentenced to monitored supervision for 24 months, and he was also ordered to pay a $500 fine for speeding in a construction zone.

As we reported, Sherman had been facing multiple criminal charges after he allegedly drove drunk, crashed his car, and then exploded at his in-laws' home in Redmond, Wash. in July.

During the alleged incident, Sherman was accused of trying to violently break into his wife's parents' house ... and then fighting with cops after they confronted him outside of the home.

Cops say they eventually had to use a police K9 to ultimately take him down.

Sherman apologized for the whole ordeal shortly after the incident, saying in a statement, "I behaved in a manner I am not proud of."

"I have been dealing with some personal challenges over the last several months, but that is not an excuse for how I acted."

Sherman went on to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following the arrest, though he was placed on injured reserve in January after playing in just five games.

The future Hall of Famer is currently an NFL free agent.

Patrick Mahomes Fake Super Bowl Rings Seized By Feds ... Part Of $345K Bust

Published

A plan to sell counterfeit Patrick Mahomes Super Bowl rings has been thwarted ... feds just announced they seized a bunch of fake K.C. Chiefs title bling in a huge bust in Louisville.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced Monday that officers intercepted a package that they say contained a small fortune-worth of fake Mahomes merch as well as other counterfeit sports memorabilia.

According to the CBP, the package -- which came from China and was heading toward Florida -- contained 30 fake Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl rings, 110 fake Atlanta Braves World Series rings, 10 fake Milwaukee Bucks NBA championship rings and 80 fake Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl rings.

In a photo of some of the seized "jewelry" ... you can see Mahomes' name was engraved on some of the merch, along with his number and the words "Chiefs Kingdom."

The CBP said in total, the package was worth $345,000.

Of course, interceptions like these have become commonplace ... in fact, back in January, feds say they seized 56 shipments of 1,382 fake sports championships and trophies, estimated to be worth around $1 million had they turned out to be legitimate.

NFL's Derek Wolfe Kills 2,000-Lb. Buffalo Arrow Through The Heart

Published

Super Bowl champ Derek Wolfe checked a lifelong dream off his bucket list this week ... by hunting down and killing a massive, 2,000-pound buffalo -- and the pics are gnarly.

The 32-year-old Baltimore Ravens defensive end shared images of the aftermath to his Instagram on Sunday ... holding the buffalo's heart in his hand and showing an arrow going right through the organ.

"Took two arrows to bring this 2000lb beast down," Wolfe said of the kill. "1st at 34 yards and the second a perfect heart shot at 67 yards. A childhood dream came true for me."

Wolfe also posted up-close pics of the damage ... and yeah, there's a ton of blood.

Wolfe is usually known for tracking down quarterbacks -- he has 34 sacks on his career -- but did not play in 2021 due to an injury.

Maybe he'll have his teammates over for a buffalo dinner??

L.A. Rams safety Terrell Burgess brought his mom to tears after surprising her with a brand new SUV -- and the emotional moment was all caught on video!

The 23-year-old pulled up on his mother, Ingrid, over the weekend with the new whip ... capturing the big surprise.

His mom was in complete shock -- saying, "Is this why you're so late today?!" when she noticed the new silver Chevy SUV parked in the street.

That's when the tears started rollin' ... with Burgess' mom asking, "Are you serious?! Oh my goodness!"

"It had 19 miles on it," the former Utah Utes star says, "but we drove all the way over here so kinda bumped up a little bit."

"That's yours. Appreciate you, thank you, love you! That's yours!"

It's unclear exactly how much the SUV cost, but Burgess joked the gift covers future holidays for the next couple of years.

"Happy Birthday! Merry Christmas! Happy Mothers Day for the next 8 years!"

Burgess -- a third-round pick in the 2020 draft -- logged in 18 tackles and 1 pass deflection before suffering a season-ending injury in Week 7 of the 2021 season.

But, you can bet mom will be pullin' up in her new ride to watch her son defend the Super Bowl title with the Rams next year.

Christian Kirk Defends Kyler Murray ... He's A Great Leader

Reports of Kyler Murray being a bad teammate and a poor leader are flat-out false ... so says his Cardinals teammate Christian Kirk, who tells TMZ Sports he loves the quarterback.

Kirk had nothing but nice things to say about the Arizona star outside of JLT Performance GYM in Los Angeles this week ... explaining he has no issues whatsoever with the signal-caller.

"He's a great friend of mine and he's always treated me well and teammates around him well," said Kirk, who's played with Murray in Arizona since 2019. "Every time he steps on the field, he wants to win."

Of course, recent reports have contradicted Kirk ... particularly after Murray scrubbed his social media of Arizona Cardinals-related pics.

Multiple outlets reported the Cards' org. is unhappy with the QB -- hoping to see more maturity, better play and more leadership from the 24-year-old before they give him a monster contract extension.

Kirk, though, made it clear he hasn't seen any of those issues with the QB, saying, "I believe he deserves everything that he's earned and that he has coming."

There's a chance, however, that Kirk won't be able to play with Kyler anymore going forward ... Christian is set for free agency later this month, and rumors are swirling that he could become a Buffalo Bill after he vacationed with star QB Josh Allen last month.

Kirk said the two (who were with Commanders QB Kyle Allen and Panthers QB Sam Darnold as well) had a blast -- and, watch the clip, it sure sounds like he'd be more than comfortable in Buffalo if the Bills snatched him up later this month.
