Justin Bieber and his newly blonde girlfriend, Selena Gomez, seemed to be sticking to their follicle roots by going on a quick date after church.

The Biebs and Selena hit up the Montage hotel in Bev Hills Wednesday after attending the Hillsong Church, where services are held inside the hotel.

Selena scurried inside when she saw photogs and Bieber followed shortly thereafter.

The pair have become the faces of Hillsong, although other celebs also attend, including Kourtney Kardashian, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and Hailey Baldwin.

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle It's Gonna Be a May Wedding

Published | Updated

Meghan Markle's gonna be a May bride ... she and Prince Harry announced the month and location of their wedding -- and Harry's got history there.

Kensington Palace says the royal couple will walk down the aisle in May 2018 at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. They didn't say the date yet.

Looks like they opted for May because April is Kate Middleton's due date for her and Prince William's third child. As for the Chapel ... that's where Harry was christened way back in 1984.

Best part of the announcement ... "The Royal Family will pay for the wedding."

Big relief for the Markles.

BRAND NEW FIGHTER

Sergey Kovalev says God saved him from a potentially deadly accident -- and now, he's vowing to show fans the "real Krusher" in his return fight this weekend.

"I said very big thanks to the God for save my life," Sergey told TMZ Sports. "I still healthy, and now he gave me opportunity again."

FYI, the boxing star recently revealed he got into a crazy car accident in Russia after his back-to-back losses to Andre Ward -- skidding into a dense forest off a 2-lane highway ... but miraculously avoiding direct impact with any trees.

Kovalev told us that close call led him to a monastery in Greece -- where he got clean in the body and mind, and got over his gut-wrenching defeats at the hands of Ward.

So -- expect a new-and-improved Krusher when he faces Vyacheslav Shabranskyy on Saturday.

Donald Trump LaVar Tweets Prove He's Sick ... Says Deepak Chopra

Published | Updated

Donald Trump's Twitter hate against LaVar Ball and others is proof that he's sick and unfit to be president -- so says alternative medicine guru Deepak Chopra.

"I feel he’s in a lot of pain and suffering. He probably never got validation from his parents ... so he needs to be validated every day, every hour, every minute," Deepak told TMZ Sports.

With that said, Chopra says there's only 1 logical thing for Trump to do.

"Relinquish the presidency ... for his health, and the health of his family, and health of the country, and the health of the world."

Deepak added that he feels sorry for POTUS -- and is willing to help him with a week of private meditation on the house!!

Sounds better than fighting Big Ballers on social media ...

Justin Bieber God's Rules of the Road Count to 18 and Then Flip a B****

Published | Updated

Justin Bieber must've felt holier than thou hugging it out with his pastor for 18 seconds ... but it didn't last, 'cause he became a sinful L.A. driver soon after.

We got Bieber leaving a church service at the Saban Theatre in Bev Hills Wednesday, where he gave one of his pastors, Judah Smith, a big bro hug on the way out. And by big, we actually mean long as hell ... like 18 seconds long ... ALLIGATOR seconds at that.

Seems like Justin got a lot out of the embrace, but whatever Godliness he felt quickly faded as he drove off ... 'cause the Biebs did a super illegal U-turn getting outta there.

Remember, Justin: WWJD? Walk ... probably.

Pope Francis This Lambo Is Blessed to Move!!!

Published | Updated

Pope Francis is officially the most overqualified used car salesman -- but God, does he have a sweetheart of a deal for you on a Lamborghini!!

The Pope was gifted a special edition Lambo Huracan, which he's putting up for auction through Sotheby's -- but not before bestowing a papal blessing on the exotic whip.

The $200k ride seems fairly blessed already -- zero to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds on 600 horses -- but the Pope's word has to get ya out of a few tickets, no? Plus, auction proceeds go to charity.

So, what's a Pontiff gotta do to get you in this thing today???

William H. Macy Wahlberg Should be Proud of Porn Role ... In 'Boogie Nights'

Published | Updated

Mark Wahlberg doesn't need God's forgiveness for playing a porn star in "Boogie Nights" because there's nothing wrong with porn ... so says William H. Macy.

Wahlberg, a devout Catholic, said in a Chicago Tribune interview this week that his Dirk Diggler role was up there on his list of poor career choices. It's a pretty far out statement considering the role turned Wahlberg from rapper to Hollywood A-lister.

Macy played Wahlberg's co-star Little Bill in the '97 film and when we got him at LAX Thursday he praised Wahlberg's work in the film ... as did a random dude in the airport security line.

Macy stopped short of calling "Boogie Nights" his favorite flick, but sounds like he thinks Walhberg nailed the role.

Christian Ponder I Blamed God ... For Sucky NFL Play

Published | Updated

Former NFL QB Christian Ponder says he had a pretty powerful excuse for some of his bad NFL Sundays, 'cause when he had a tough day at the office, he'd blame God.

Ponder and his wife, sports reporter Sam Ponder, sat down at Liberty University Convocation when Christian opened up about how far he's come in his walk with the lord.

"With my faith going into the NFL, I honestly would think if I pray and get into the bible I'm gonna play well on Sunday."

What happened when Christian didn't cut it on the field? Best to let him explain ...

"When I played well I was like, 'God's awesome.' When I didn't play well it was almost like I blamed him for not playing well."

Christian went on to say he's in a better place spiritually now, a more even and fulfilled place with his maker and thanks Sam in part for that awakening.

Still, let's hope his fantasy team does well this weekend, just in case.

Mike Epps Hey Kevin, Jesus Died for Our Sins ... Now Keep It In Your Pants!

Published | Updated

Mike Epps has some sage advice for Kevin Hart from a spiritual outlook, and also on a physical tip.

We got the comedian Wednesday at LAX, where he reflected on Kevin's sex tape extortion scandal ... saying he -- like other rich, famous men -- has to keep an eye out for vultures.

Then he dragged Jesus into it, and reassured Kevin it's okay to screw up every now and then. Mike's best advice though comes on the heels of his own divorce.

Pay attention Kev, here's the Epps' golden rule to dodging messy breakups.

It's simple, but perhaps too late.

Gennady Golovkin won't guarantee he's gonna kick Canelo Alvarez's ass when they step in the squared circle Saturday night ... 'cause he ain't God.

TMZ Sports talked to GGG and C.A. leading up to their superfight this week in Las Vegas ... and asked each boxer how they visualized themselves winning the bout.

Alvarez said he was preparing for a KO ... while Golovkin's response was interesting.

"Right now it's a 50/50 fight. It's a very dangerous fight. I'm not God."

It's true, he's not God ... he's got a better right hook.

Justin Bieber In the Dark Over Selena's Transplant Surgery

Published | Updated

Justin Bieber did not reach out to Selena Gomez to comfort her as she underwent kidney transplant surgery ... because he had no idea it was happening.

Separate Justin and Selena sources tell us Selena did not share the news with Justin because they have had no connection or contact in a long time.

As you know, they're members of the same church -- Hillsong -- but they never interact with each other. We're told the church has actually facilitated keeping them separate.

As one source flatly put it, "They don't talk. Period." It's unclear if Justin and Selena feel this way, but people around them are annoyed the public thinks there's still a connection between the 2. One source says, "It was a childhood thing. They've both had other relationships. It's over."

ALL ABOUT FAITH

Darryl Strawberry says there's only one thing that saved him from the despair of drug addiction ... God ... telling TMZ Sports it was the man upstairs who was finally able to pull him from his habit.

We got Straw out in NYC and asked him what finally helped him kick the notorious cocaine addiction that derailed his MLB career, and the World Series champion's answer was simple.

"My faith, my faith in God, and my wife, Tracy."

Straw chronicles his struggles kicking the white stuff in his new book "Don’t Give Up on Me: Shedding Light on Addiction," but it's clear the former All-Star has his head on straight now.

Even still, he says there's one holy duty that he still won't perform as a man of God, because he's too scared.

Selena Gomez My Faith in God Got Me Through Kidney Failure

Selena Gomez was scared, as anyone would be, as she dealt with failing kidneys and Lupus, but her faith in God is what gave her the strength to handle it ... sources close to the singer tell TMZ.

Our sources say God has become the most important thing in Selena's life, and as scared as she was, she was resigned to the fact that her fate was in God's hands.

Selena, we're told, prayed a lot but also knew she had the power to heal herself by aggressively seeking a transplant. As we reported, Selena was on a kidney transplant list and ultimately received the life-saving organ from her best friend, Francia Raisa.

Pope Francis The Shining

Pope Francis needs prayer, and a bag of ice.

The Pontiff could have used a little divine intervention before banging his head on his Popemobile.

One minute he was Popin' it up with the masses, and the next he took one to the eye.

The good news ... he got up and kept doing his Pope thing.

You can't keep a good Pope down.
