Nipsey Hussle's Bodyguard Assaults The Game's Manager ... It's a Wack Attack!!!

Published | Updated

Nipsey Hussle's former bodyguard went after The Game's manager during the rapper's set Sunday night ... apparently over some disrespectful comments made about Hussle.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ ... Nip's bodyguard and close friend, J Roc, attacked Wack 100 backstage at the Rolling Loud Festival while The Game was performing.

We're told J Roc punched Wack several times in the face, then took off. Video of the aftermath shows an angry Wack having to be restrained from going after J Roc by venue security.

Wack's already responded to the incident by posting a video showing closeups of his face -- without any visible injuries -- and saying ... "Whooping Wacks ass takes more than words it takes a action !"

He adds ... "Next time you send a motherf***er, don't send one who knows how to run, send one who knows how to fight."

As for why there's bad blood between the late rapper's camp and The Game's ... it seemingly stems from Wack 100's recent comments about how Nipsey Hussle's not a legend. Wack told us it's nothing personal -- it's just about numbers ... and he doesn't think Hussle's stack up.

Game made it clear his manager doesn't speak for him, but regardless ... J Roc wanted to send Wack a message.

Quality Control CEO 'Pee' Lira Galore's Lying About Abuse!!! My Parenting's Been Fine for 8 Months

Published | Updated

Lira Galore is a liar, and a forgetful one at that, according to Quality Control CEO "Pee" Thomas ... who's firing back at his baby mama's claims he's abusive and an unfit father.

First off, Pee flat-out denies Lira's allegations he was physically abusive to her a handful of times ... including while she was pregnant with their baby girl. Further, he says Lira's motives for suing him and making the abuse claims are suspect ... and he points to his track record of caring for 8-month-old Khaleesi.

In docs, obtained by TMZ, Pee says, "It must be questioned as to why she allowed him unsupervised visitation with the parties' daughter and waited so long to file this monetary claim."

Also, in denying the abuse allegations, "Pee" claims he's been the victim of Lira's rage. According to the docs, he claims Lira was "physically violent towards him" when she was abusing various drugs.

TMZ broke the story ... Lira filed a $15 million lawsuit against Thomas, accusing him of the abuse. She included photos of her alleged injuries suffered at his hands.

Lira's not backing down .. in fact, she's also filed a motion of her own, asking the judge to force Pee to pay for her attorney. She says she's already racked up a $19k tab, and wants $20k right now from the record exec behind Migos and Cardi B.

The judge has not ruled on that motion yet.

Juice WRLD's Rolling Loud Tribute Ends in Prayer ... Words from GF, YBN Cordae

Published | Updated

Juice WRLD was properly honored Sunday night at Rolling Loud, where his girlfriend and at least one of his rap friends shared some kind words of remembrance.

At one point during Day 2 of the L.A. music festival, a DJ brought out Juice's GF, Ally, who told the crowd what she loved most about JW ... his ability to turn any negative into a positive, and his adoring love for his fans. Sounds like she was fighting back tears too.

Rapper YBN Cordae also spoke during the onstage tribute, and said he felt people use the word "brother" too much without much thought. He says Juice was a true brother to him, as well as a counselor and healer to everyone in the crowd. The audience seemed to agree.

Juice's reported music video director, Cole Bennett, was another person who got on the mic ... and he said while many go underappreciated while they're alive, he insisted Juice wasn't one of them. The tribute ended in one of his songs, "Lucid Dreams," and collective prayer.

DEDICATED TO MY BROS

You'll recall ... rapper Tyla Yaweh was another Rolling Loud performer who paid tribute to Juice WRLD during his set. He was one of a few expected to shout out JW at the show.

TMZ broke the story ... Juice WRLD died last week after suffering a seizure at Chicago's Midway Airport. Witnesses told cops they'd seen Juice ingest a bunch of pills at some point during the feds' search of his private jet, which resulted in drugs and guns being found.

He was 21. RIP

Aqua Coachella Would Be Dream Come True We're Around in 2020, So ...

Published | Updated

Aqua's got a New Year's resolution that will surely have their legion of fans fired up ... a gig at next year's Coachella.

Singers Lene Nystrom ('memba her?) and Rene Dif and keyboardist Soren Rasted tell TMZ ... the band's set its sights on playing at Coachella next April ... which would be about 2 months before the Dutch-Norwegian band kicks off its '90s nostalgia tour.

How the band's gonna get it done is TBD ... but it's making a strong case for itself well ahead of Coachella announcing its highly-anticipated lineup. And, if it helps, the band -- famously known for its 1997 worldwide hit, "Barbie Girl" -- will be in the neighborhood.

Aqua recently announced it's making pit stops in 5 cities in Canada next June. Aqua's headlining and they'll be joined by fellow Dutch Eurodance group Vengaboys and Ace of Base's Jenny Berggren.

Aqua's undoubtedly excited to get back onstage next year but they make it crystal clear -- they've set their sights on Coachella. Check out the vid ... Lene tells us they'd fit in PERFECTLY 'cause, y'know, all the sex, drugs and rock & roll.

The group's ambitious goal is NOT far-fetched. Remember, a precedent's been set after 'NSYNC (sans Justin Timberlake) performed with Ariana Grande this year during weekend one.

Aqua -- which hasn't performed in the U.S. since the late '90s and teases about possible new music in the horizon -- is no stranger to syncing up with Lance Bass & co. -- they not only toured together, Lene says 'NSYNC's one of the bands they traveled with the most in the 90s.

So ... your move, Coachella.

DEDICATED TO MY BROS

Tyla Yaweh got the crowd going Saturday at Rolling Loud by dedicating part of his set to the passing of Juice WRLD and XXXTentacion.

People crammed into the Banc of California Stadium in L.A., where he played Juice's "Armed and Dangerous." TMZ broke the story ... Juice died last Sunday after suffering seizures.

The tributes didn't end with Juice. Tyla said, "Let's also turn up for my brother, XXXTentacion," and the crowd was more than happy to oblige.

And, then there was a caution ... Tyla noted he and most people in the crowd were young, and he wanted them to understand the dangers of drugs, urging the crowd to stay healthy.

Nick Cannon Til Em Responds, I'm Gonna Run it Back ... Diss Track on Repeat!!!

Nick Cannon
FIRIN' THE CANNON

Nick Cannon just can't get enough of his diss track aimed at Eminem -- playing it back-to-back-to-back (and then some) -- and vibing to it harder than anyone else in the room.

Nick's been busy shooting new episodes of 'Wild 'n Out' in Atlanta this week ... and we got some footage from behind the scenes. Nick took control of the DJ booth one day, and our sources say he played "The Invitation" -- his Eminem diss track -- at least 20 times.

We're told Nick not only played the track on repeat for his VIP guests, staff and cast members, he also played it over the speakers for the audience on the main stage.

Our sources say the 'Wild 'n Out' staff is confident Eminem will eventually take the bait, and come on the show -- and 'Invitation' will become an anthem for their battle.

Important to note ... we're coming up on a week since Nick fired the first shot, and still nothing from Em -- so, the 'WnO' crew better not be holding their breath.

As we reported, Nick dropped not one, but TWO diss tracks this week. "The Invitation" took a homophobic shot at Eminem, saying, "I heard your chauffeur got a video of you suckin' c**k." Another verse, referencing Mariah Carey, "My baby mama killed you off a decade ago, You're still crying about it bitch, now who really the ho?"

Marshall hasn't said much, other than a couple tweets, back at Nick. In one, "U mad bro? Stop lying on my d**k. I never even had a chauffeur, you bougie f**k."

Our sources say Nick's got the door wide open for Em if he wants to move the feud to the 'Wild 'n Out' stage.

Offset 28th Birthday Does Not Disappoint ... Cardi B Cheers on Stripper During Lap Dance!!!

Published | Updated

Offset and Cardi B had way more fun than you Friday night ... at least that's a safe bet!

There was a pretty spectacular party in downtown L.A. in celebration of the 28th birthday of the Migos member.

Where to start. Lots of strippers. A bank safe full of bills ... it's a combination that never fails. Offset got a lap dance as his wife cheered both him and the stripper on. The forecast was rain and plenty of it, due in large part to Offset's tried-and-true technique.

As for eats ... Popeyes chicken sandwiches for starters.

BTW ... Migos has partnered with Uber Eats and Popeyes to launch a "Migos Menu" with different deals named after each member. The promotion was launched after Quavo posted an Instagram video of himself selling Popeyes Chicken Sandwiches from his car for $1,000 a pop!)

When the party ended, Cardi shows us a floor littered in $1s.

Happy birthday Offset, and way to throw a party!!!

As you know, Justin pulled the plug on the last one before it ended ... and it seemed like he was really struggling. It looks like the ship has now righted itself.

Should be a good year for the Biebs.

Jamie Foxx was in the mood to go, go, go to town on a bottle of tequila with Lil Jon ... because that's just how he does 52!!!

Jamie hit up Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand in Las Vegas just after midnight Friday -- the official kickoff for his birthday -- and put his heart and soul into chugging the bottle ... with encouragement from Jon and the crowd.

We're told Foxx arrived with a group of about 20 people ready to party with him for his 52nd bday, and they got a VIP table next to the DJ booth ... where Lil Jon was performing.

Shots were flowing, of course, and both guys took pulls straight from the bottle to get things going. We're told LJ got Jamie onstage around 2:45 AM and told the house, "I’ve known Jamie for a long time, and he’s a good, real person. He ain’t down with all that Hollywood BS."

The duo then had some more Don Julio 1942 and danced to Lil Jon's classic track, "Turn Down For What" ... before he popped a bottle of champagne and showered Foxx.

The program included a collage of pictures featuring Juice WRLD. His mother, Carmella Wallace, also paid tribute to her son. His siblings and grandmother also shared some words.

Several staffers and execs from Interscope -- his record label -- attended, as did Juice's friend and fellow rapper, Ski Mask the Slump God.

Taylor Swift Rips Into Scooter Braun at Billboard Awards ... With Mixed Reaction

Published | Updated

Taylor Swift laid into Scooter Braun again -- this time railing on what she calls "toxic male privilege" in the record industry.

Taylor won the Woman of the Decade Award at Billboard's Women in Music event in Hollywood at The Palladium.

Her speech went 15 minutes, and she launched another attack against Braun, who bought Big Machine Records several months ago ... the company that owns Taylor's first 6 album masters.

Taylor repeated her claim that Scooter never contacted her prior to him buying the label, and she said she resented record companies treating a singer's art like a commodity such as a shoe.

She went on to say no one from Scooter's camp has ever contacted her or her team prior to the purchase of Big Machine. As we reported, Braun publicly said a few weeks ago he wanted to sit down with Taylor to resolve things but neither she nor her team ever contacted them.

She went on to say the definition of toxic male privilege is, "Well, he's always been nice to me."

The reaction to Taylor's speech seemed mixed. When she finished speaking about Scooter, she seemed to wait for applause, and it did not come immediately ... and when it did it was less than thunderous.

One female exec in the room said afterward, "The night was supposed to be about inspiration, but it turned into another, 'poor little Taylor Swift.' It's hard to watch someone who's had such incredible privilege ... to complain about their own personal issues."

Juice WRLD's family is breaking their silence on the death of the 21-year-old rapper, shedding light on his battle with prescription drug abuse and his fight to help others beat their addictions.

In an exclusive statement to TMZ, the late rapper's mom, Carmella Wallace, says, "We loved Jarad with all of our hearts and cannot believe our time with him has been cut short. As he often addressed in his music and to his fans, Jarad battled with prescription drug dependency."

Juice rapped about drugs often, something his family says wasn't to promote using ... but instead to help those battling addiction who may have felt alone in their fight.

His mom continues, "Addiction knows no boundaries and its impact goes way beyond the person fighting it. Jarad was a son, brother, grandson, friend and so much more to so many people who wanted more than anything to see him defeat addiction."

DaBaby Hooks Up Giddy Fan with Tickets ... After Gas Station Meetup!!!

Published | Updated
Da Baby
Hug Me, Baby

DaBaby taketh, and DaBaby giveth right back -- at least that's what one ecstatic fan learned when she ran into him at a gas station and freaked the hell out.

Alexandria Coleman tells TMZ ... the rapper hooked her and her friends up with free tickets to a makeup show -- one they kinda got the shaft on, originally.

Long story short, Alexandria says she was supposed to catch DaBaby in D.C. last weekend, but because of his 'SNL' appearance, it got bumped to Sunday night -- which sold out before she could score seats.

So, how's this for a stroke of luck? Alexandria ran into DB by total chance at a gas station as she was driving from D.C. back to Albany, NY. The run-in went kinda as you'd expect -- panicked, but also gleeful.

DaBaby and his team -- whom we're told were already recording some shenanigans -- noticed her pure excitement, and captured most of it on camera. You gotta see the moment they finally came face-to-face in an aisle ... and he ended up cradled in her arms.

They don't call him DaBaby for nothin'.

Alexandria tells us his team promised to get them into the sold-out D.C. show -- and come the day of the show, we're told he snuck them in through the back for the best seats in the house.

Just goes to show ya ... screaming a celeb's name, and making a big fuss MIGHT actually pay off. Or, you could be tackled by a bodyguard. So ... proceed at your own risk.
