Charlie Wilson has no doubts whatsoever Kanye West's upcoming album is in good hands with Ty Dolla $ign as co-pilot, because according to Uncle Charlie ... Ty's voice is golden as his!!!

TMZ Hip Hop linked with The Gap Band leader at LAX, where he told us all of Ye's existing backstories -- antisemitism, public tirades, lawsuits -- will have no bearing on the quality of his new music.

We broke the story, Kanye and Ty$ were holed up good and tight in the studio last month, with Ye cranking out 10 songs in a week's time.

They're currently shopping the album but unlike Charlie's projection ... so far, major record labels are giving the impression Ye's antisemitic rhetoric left a lasting stain.

Larry Jackson's indie distributor Gamma counts Snoop Dogg, Usher and Rick Ross as clients, and still remains a viable option for the project.

As for CW, he last appeared on Kanye's 2019 "Ye" album, and tells us he's not a part of this new one. Charlie admits he and Ye lost contact, but says with Ty$ on board, it'll be a win for the project.

Jada Pinkett Smith and her daughter Willow aren't letting all their family's recent drama ruin their appetites ... or their good vibes, apparently.

Jada and Willow went out to dinner Tuesday at Il Mulino Prime in New York City's SoHo district ... and it looks like they had a rocking good time.

The mother-daughter duo was laughing and smiling as they booked it out of the swanky Italian steakhouse ... where they were likely celebrating the release of Jada's memoir, "Worthy."

Jada and Willow certainly had a lot to talk about over dinner ... as you know, Jada's been spilling all sorts of family secrets during her media blitz for the book -- and even if Willow knew most of the tea, the public reaction to it certainly new to them.

As we reported ... Jada had a lot to say about Willow's dad, Will Smith ... like the fact they've been separated for 7 years and pulling off the charade of presenting themselves like a committed couple.

Jada also spilled her guts about Tupac Shakur, revealed she's had suicidal thoughts, detailed her experiences with psychedelic drugs and dished on Chris Rock ... among so many other things.

Logan Paul is closing the Dillon Danis chapter of his life ... saying he's no longer considering taking an MMA match with his nemesis after easily handling him in the ring.

Remember, Paul initially said back in September he was down to scrap in Danis' territory if the former Bellator fighter showed up to their Oct. 14 fight ... and the two shook hands on it to seal the deal.

Now, Maverick is backpedaling on his promise ... saying an MMA rematch is not gonna happen -- even though he's confident he'd "beat his ass."

"No, and you know why?" Logan said on his "Impaulsive" podcast. "I said I would if he gave me his whole purse, which is not gonna happen, obviously."

"Bro, he doesn't deserve the platform," he continued. "We saw what kind of person he is. I walked into the arena to boos, I left to cheers. No one likes that dirty fight s***, bro. You came to box, like, respect the sport. Respect me as an opponent. Back up your words. Are you a man?"

"You can't talk that much s*** for three months. You can't try to ruin someone's life and then come in there with that kind of performance."

Paul is referring to the incessant social media attack Danis unloaded leading up to the fight ... something that led to his fiancée, Nina Agdal, filing a lawsuit and restraining order against him.

Many believe Danis didn't put his money where his mouth was ... and for that reason, Logan's out on dealing with the guy in the future.

The Utah Jazz have stopped selling a shirt that prominently features Michael Jordan's "Jumpman" logo ... this after fans complained the imagery brought up some painful memories for them.

The tee showed Jordan's famed silhouette jumping over Jazz lettering ... something Utah backers seriously frowned upon, given everything MJ did to them during his time with the Bulls.

You'll recall, while starring for Chicago in the 1990s, he beat the Jazz regularly ... including twice in NBA Finals matchups.

So, when some supporters saw the grey shirt being sold in the team's store -- they complained relentlessly -- and, according to Salt Lake Tribune reporter Andy Larsen, the Jazz ended up pulling the item quickly over the backlash.

As for how the shirt came about in the first place, following the NBA's partnership with Jordan Brand years ago ... teams all over the league -- not just the Jazz -- began rolling out the generic design with the "Jumpman" logo on them.

The Chargers fan who blew up on social media for displaying a roller coaster of emotions during "Monday Night Football" is putting all speculation to rest ... adamantly denying she was a paid actress or AI bot -- she's just that crazy about her team!!

Merrianne Do achieved overnight fame for her animated expressions while supporting Justin Herbert and the Chargers during their 20-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys at SoFi Stadium ... and many were quick to accuse her of being planted by the team or league for manufactured clout.

TMZ Sports spoke with the internet's newest celebrity ... and she says the truth is, she's your average fanatic who's super passionate about her squad.

"I wish I was being paid," Do tells us. "If [the skeptics] only knew this is how I am every day. My kids are like, 'Mommy this is how you are at my flag football game, why do they think you're getting paid?' I'm like. 'I know, but they don't know me.'"

As it turns out, it's true -- Do and her husband are truly diehard Charger fans -- the two have season tickets in the second row ... and if they aren't sittin' there, they're posted up in the cabana suites.

"We are diehard fans," she says. "It's always been like this. People that know me know that I've been this crazy football fan all my life."

The internet sleuths have been quick to try and poke holes in Do's explanation ... even posting pics of her in Minnesota Vikings gear -- but she has a reason for that, too.

"I grew up in Minnesota before moving to California almost 20 years ago," Do says. "I don't think you have to be a single-team fan. I love my Chargers and I'm not gonna deny my Vikings. At the end of the day, yes, I've been a Vikings fan, I've been through that journey as a Vikings fan and still am, but I'm here in LA for the past 20 years."

Long story short, Do didn't get a cent for her viral moment ... but knowing how internet fame works, that could all change.

"To anybody that thinks this is paid, I am not paid, I'm still eating my ramen noodles."

Blueface pulled the ol' George Washington cherry tree defense when confronted about his mom wanting to set him up with Megan Thee Stallion -- and, in the process, seemingly let it slip they once were a thing.

The Hadids are receiving death threats over their support for Palestine -- and it's gotten so bad they've been forced to take action ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell us ... every member in the Hadid household -- including Gigi, Bella, Anwar and even their parents, Mohamed and Yolanda -- have gotten ominous messages that have made them fear for their lives.

We're told these death threats are coming through multiple mediums ... including emails, social media and even their own cell phones.

Our sources tell us phone numbers of several Hadid family members have been leaked online over the past week -- in other words, they've been doxxed -- and they've had random people hitting them up with horrific sentiments ... including graphic descriptions of how they would carry out the Hadids' executions.

It's forced the hand of the Hadids, whom we're told have all had to change numbers to avoid the ongoing threats. It's gotten so bad, our sources say Mohamed -- the patriarch -- is considering going to the FBI.

Gigi broke her silence in the wake of the Hamas attack -- which came across as measured and nuanced, but her latest remarks have drawn the ire of Israel itself.

That disgust appears to have manifested into blind hatred ... and it's having real-world effects on the family.

Other members of the family have yet to address the Israel-Palestine issue publicly.

A Cornell University professor is in hot water for calling the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel "exhilarating" and "energizing" -- his words, and the crowd's reaction to them, are downright ugly.

Russell Rickford -- who's an associate professor of history there at the Upstate NY Ivy League school -- made the inflammatory remarks over the weekend at a pro-Palestine rally ... which were also caught on camera and circulated on social media.

Cropped versions of this clip have been making the rounds, but even in its full context ... what Rickford says here is pretty despicable. Take a look for yourself -- he starts by saying that Palestinians have been living in oppression for a long time, and that what Hamas carried out two weeks ago (an outright onslaught of innocents) gave them renewed hope.

He says the Hamas attack allowed the Palestinian people a chance to finally breathe -- and makes the bold claim that by doing what they did ... they've "shifted the balance of power."

Bottom line ... this all amounts to a justification for the terrorism, and it sounds like most of the crowd that was on hand was backing him -- chanting "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free." Of course, his remarks have also drawn outrage on the other side.

Amid the outcry ... Cornell has yet to respond, nor has Rickford himself. Many are calling for his job ... but it's unclear if anything's going to happen on that front.

On the opposite coast, however, a different professor from a separate prestigious school is singing a different tune on this issue -- UC Berkeley law professor Steven Solomon is now calling for students who preach Professor Rickford’s brand of discrimination to be blacklisted.

He wrote an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal arguing as much ... saying that law firms should not hire Berkeley grads who've spewed "hate, dehumanization or anti-Semitism toward Jews" --  which he says some of his Berkeley students have been doing.

He writes, in part ... "My students are largely engaged and well-prepared, and I regularly recommend them to legal employers. But, if you don’t want to hire people who advocate hate and practice discrimination, don’t hire some of my students." He goes on to state that it is the "duty" of law firms to reject job applicants "if they support discriminatory bylaws or other acts and resolutions blaming Jews and Israelis for the Hamas massacre."

Alicia Keys got dogpiled over a social media post that many took to be antisemitic and sympathetic toward Hamas' attack on Israel ... but she's saying that's not correct at all.

The singer came under a microscope Monday after a since-deleted IG post became the subject of a lot head turns ... and it all had to do with her caption. She threw up a photo of herself in a green jacket, adding ... "What would u do if you weren't afraid of anything???"

She added underneath, "Tell me your truth ... I've had my eyes on paragliding 👀👀"

That alone was enough to spur folks to accuse her of showing support for the terrorism in Israel ... which claimed countless innocent lives. The reason, of course, has to do with the fact that paragliders were used by terrorists that day as an infiltration method.

Like we said ... the backlash was swift and fierce, and tons of people were straight up accusing Alicia of cosigning what happened to all those slain Israelis -- but she set the record straight after seeing all the comments ... and after eventually taking down her post.

In a message later Monday, she clarified ... "The post I shared earlier was COMPLETELY unrelated in any way to the recent devastating loss of innocent lives. My heart has been breaking ... I pray for and stand for peace."

As many people have rightly pointed out ... AK seems to have just been talking about wanting to paraglide, which makes sense considering where she lives down near San Diego. She and her husband, Swizz Beatz, are actually right near a well-known paragliding spot.

Others have also mentioned a controversial decision of hers in 2013 to perform in Israel -- despite some publicly asking her not to. Point is, she clearly meant no harm here.

Por otra parte, otro profesor de una prestigiosa escuela va por el lado contrario. El profesor de derecho de la Universidad de Berkeley Steven Solomon, está pidiendo que los estudiantes que hablan y apoyan a Palestina y condenan a Israel deben estar en la lista negra.

Escribió un artículo de opinión en el Wall Street Journal argumentando lo mismo, diciendo que los bufetes de abogados no deben contratar a graduados de Berkeley que han vomitado odio hacia los Judios, que es como parece interpretar los sentimientos pro Palestina y que algunos estudiantes de Berkeley ya han manifestado.

Él escribe: "Mis estudiantes son en gran medida comprometidos y bien preparados y regularmente los recomiendo a los empleadores legales. Pero, si no quieren contratar a personas que abogan por el odio y practican la discriminación, no contraten a algunos de mis estudiantes."

Bow Wow still hasn't found much hip hop worth championing this year, and he's voicing his complaints about it by pointing a finger industry's lousy, in his words, A&R execs.

The veteran MC launched into a Twitter tirade Monday, questioning if record labels even give a damn about the artists they sign!!!

Bow used a sports analogy to make his point -- a (smart) boxer wouldn't get into the ring without properly training, and he says artists releasing music should be no exception.

Clearly, he thinks the artists & repertoire folks -- who are supposed to find and develop new talent -- are sleeping on the job.

The "Shorty Like Mine" rapper went viral earlier this year for ripping today's crop of music during the BET Awards, but he thinks that message still hasn't gotten through to artists who care about making quality hip hop.

KXNG Crooked literally just told us the same thing Bow's ranting about -- he feels today's record labels are run by clowns, and, as a result, we're all living in a circus!!!

D.L. Hughley doesn't think supermodel Gigi Hadid should be catching flak from Israel for posting about her thoughts about the conflict with Hamas ... and says she's only doing what millions of others have done.

We got D.L. Monday at LAX, and he let us know his thoughts on the backlash Gigi's now facing directly from the State of Israel due to her posting a meme about the "Israeli government's treatment of Palestinians."

According to D.L., Gigi's expressing her views the way she sees it, and has every right to speak out in any way she sees fit -- adding she obviously isn't the only one sharing thoughts and concerns about the conflict.

He also tells us why failing to see humans as the same -- regardless of race, ethnicity or religion -- is why arguments like this never end well.

As we reported, the State of Israel's official Instagram account put Gigi on blast Sunday, claiming she's been "sleeping this past week," adding, "Are you just fine turning a blind eye to Jewish babies being butchered in their homes? Your silence has been very clear about where you stand."
