Ex-NFL star T.J. Houshmandzadeh Sues Weed Club Owners ... You Jacked My $200K!!
Former Cincinnati Bengals star T.J. Houshmandzadeh claims he got bamboozled into fronting hundreds of thousands of dollars for a bogus weed business.
The retired WR filed suit against two men -- Damien Marzett and John Wiegman -- for allegedly convincing him to invest $200K into construction for their new dispensary under false pretenses.
In the docs obtained by TMZ Sports, T.J. claims Marzett and Wiegman approached him in 2015, trying to get him to fund a new weed club in L.A. ... which they said would make hundreds of thousands of dollars a month.
He also claims they signed a contract to pay him back interest of $180K by Dec. 2017 if he floated them the dough.
Well, he says he paid ... but never saw any of that money by the due date -- and eventually learned they didn't even have a license to operate a weed club in the state.
He wants a judge to make them fork over the $380k he says he's owed ... plus damages.

U.S. Air Force Airmen in Charge of Nuclear Weapons ... Trippin' on LSD
Now this will scare the crap out of you ... a group of Air Force airmen responsible for guarding nuclear weapons were heavy into LSD and cocaine.
The jaw-dropping revelations just surfaced ... and not because the government wanted it known. Turns out one of the airmen screwed up and posted a big enough hint on social media to raise eyebrows, and through a series of Freedom of Information Act demands, the Associated Press got the story.
The service members were part of the 90th Missile Wing, responsible for one third of the 400 Minutemen 3 missiles tucked away in silos across the northern Great Plains.
The LSD use was especially problematic, because it's an hallucinogen that can permanently mess up the brain. As the Air Force noted in a dozen court marshals during the scandal -- which went down in 2015 and 2016 -- LSD has "profound effects" from even a tiny amount, causing "paranoia, fear and panic, unwanted and overwhelming feelings, unwanted life-changing spiritual experiences, and flashbacks."
One of the airmen who was tripping said during a bad acid trip, "I'm dying! ... When is this going to end?" Another talked about how much he enjoyed the drug, saying, "Minutes felt like hours, colors seemed more vibrant and clear."
It wasn't just a random guy dropping acid. This was a full-blown drug ring.
Disciplinary action was taken against 14 airmen. Two accused airmen were acquitted and 3 others were not charged. Others served time in jail.

Ariana Grande is lashing out at anyone who thinks Mac Miller's car wreck and DUI is somehow her fault because, as she puts it ... she's NOT his mother or his babysitter.
Ariana responded to one Twitter troll in particular ... saying she had cared for Mac and tried to support his sobriety for years, "But shaming/blaming women for a man's inability to keep his s**t together is a very major problem."
Mac has talked about his struggles with the bottle in the past, and Ariana says it was definitely an issue while they dated. She says, "Of course I didn't share about how hard or scary it was while it was happening but it was."
MAY 2018
TMZ broke the story ... Mac smashed up his G-Wagon, and got busted for DUI ... one week after he and Ariana announced their split.
She says she'll continue praying for Mac to figure out his problems, but adds ... it's absurd to expect any woman to "stay in a toxic relationship" just because Mac wrote a song ("Cinderella") about her.

3 Doors Down Matt Roberts' Doctor Acquitted In Overdose Death
The doctor who prescribed drugs to 3 Doors Down guitarist Matt Roberts -- before his apparent overdose -- is not guilty in his death.
The jury returned the verdict on Dr. Richard Snellgrove, who'd been indicted back in 2016. Prosecutors claimed he improperly prescribed controlled substances to Matt leading up to his death in August 2016.
Snellgrove's attorney presented text messages that showed Matt had been dabbling in street drugs in addition to his Rx meds, and argued his death couldn't be pinned strictly to Snellgrove. Prosecutors claimed Snellgrove had been prescribing meds under multiple aliases ... even though he knew they were for Roberts.
The jury bought the defense's version ... Snellgrove's off the hook, criminally. He is still fighting the wrongful death lawsuit filed by Matt's estate.

Rose McGowan Hires Attorney Jose Baez ... In Cocaine Possession Case

McGowan and her previous lawyer had said she was framed, because 5 hours passed between the time she got off the plane and the cleaning crew found the wallet. What's more, McGowan's previous lawyer suggested Harvey Weinstein might be behind it all out of revenge.
Baez tells TMZ, "I think she's absolutely 100% innocent in this case and we're looking forward to showing that in a court of law." He added, "She's absolutely 100% determined to clear her name."

Katy Perry to Santa Barbara One Round, On Me! ... Crowd Runs to the Bar
Katy Perry treated her hometown to free booze at a concert this weekend -- but might've spoken too soon ... 'cause much of the crowd went runnin'.
Katy performed Saturday night at the Santa Barbara Bowl for what she dubbed 'Witness: Coming Home' -- a benefit show to help relief efforts for the wildfires and mudslides in the area earlier this year. All ticket sales were donated, including Katy's cut.
Toward the end of the performance, Katy offered to buy the entire audience "all drinks" on her dime, per eyewitnesses. True to form ... many in the SB crowd immediately hit the bar.
You can hear Katy try to call them back in to catch the rest of the show, but it was too late. Santa Barbara Bowl's general manager, Rick Boller, tells TMZ that her offer amounted to about one free drink per person to anyone who swung by. No word yet on the total tab.
BTW ... we're told Katy did the concert completely free of charge, too. She forewent her booking fee through promoter GoldenVoice. Atta girl.

David Wells 'Disappointed' Over Robinson Cano
Yankees legend David Wells ain't exactly thrilled with the whole Robinson Cano scandal ... telling TMZ Sports he's disappointed over Cano's 80-game suspension.
Cano was popped for taking a banned substance -- though he INSISTS it was a prescribed medication and NOT a performance enhancing drug.
But, not everyone is buying Cano's excuse ... considering the substance he took can be used as a masking agent for PEDs.
So, when we saw Wells in NYC, we asked if he was disappointed.
"Of course," he said ... noting, "I'm glad I'm not playing anymore."
We asked to explain his comment ... "Because 5 innings is a quality start."
He's definitely throwing shade at the new generation of MLB players -- essentially calling them soft.
We also asked about the Yanks vs. Red Sox rivalry ... Wells says it's good, but not like it used to be.
"Now they hug when they have a fight!"
BTW, props to Wells who hosted the Perfect 33 charity event Thursday night raising funds to support underprivileged kids and military families.

Mac Miller's DUI Arrest No Nikes on My Feet ... But, Sweater's on My Face Leaving Jail
Mac Miller walked out of jail Thursday morning not wanting to talk about his DUI arrest -- and, apparently, not wanting folks to see his face either.
We got Mac leaving the slammer in Van Nuys late Thursday morning, where just hours earlier he had been locked up for allegedly crashing into a power pole and fleeing the scene ... all while drunk.
Our camera guy asks the hard questions. Why did he allegedly bail from the crash site? How much had he had to drink? What did he say to cops to get a glowing suspect review? And is this in any way related to his recent split from Ariana Grande?
Mac was having none of it ... although, we did get a groan out of him. Talk about no comment.
Ariana just tweeted, "Pls take care of yourself."

Tallmadge Wakeman D'Elia died on Cinco de Mayo in St. Petersburg, FL after his vape pen ignited a fire in his bedroom. The autopsy results just came out and reportedly showed the e-cig not only exploded and sparked the blaze, but it also made a "projectile wound" in D'Elia's skull.

Robinson Cano Suspended 80 Games ... for Banned Substance
-
Breaking News
Seattle Mariners superstar Robinson Cano -- one of the best players in baseball --has accepted an 80 game suspension after testing positive for a banned substance.
However, Cano insists he did NOT take steroids or any other performance enhancing drug ... he insists he made a simple mistake when taking a prescribed medication.
"Recently, I learned that I tested positive for a substance called Furosemide, which is not a performance enhancing substance," Cano said in a statement.
"Furosemide is used to treat various medical conditions in the United States and the Dominican Republic."
"This substance was given to me by a licensed doctor in the Dominican Republic to treat a medical ailment."
"While I did not realize at the time that I was given a medication that was banned, I obviously now wish that I had been more careful."
The issue ... Furosemide can be used as a masking agent to hide PEDs -- and that's why it's banned.
The 35-year-old is currently nursing a broken hand which he suffered Sunday when he was hit by a pitch while playing against the Detroit Tigers.
MLB says he will be allowed to start serving his suspension immediately, despite the injury.
The 2nd baseman -- an 8-time All-Star -- is in the middle of a 10-year contract worth $240 MILLION. Many people believe he was headed to the Hall of Fame ... but this could derail that.
Cano adds, "I would never do anything to cheat the rules of the game that I love, and after undergoing dozens of drug tests over more than a decade, I have never tested positive for a performance enhancing substance for the simple reason that I have never taken one."
