Frank Ocean was the hotly anticipated Sunday night headliner at Coachella 2023, but he put on a lackluster performance that left many of his fans disappointed.

Eyewitnesses tell TMZ ... the singer kicked things off on a sour note, arriving for his first concert in years an hour late at 11 PM to close out the first week of Coachella. Complicating matters, Frank was hard to see on the dimly lit stage and the low-hanging lighting fixtures often blocked him from the view of the audience, who watched most of his show on large screens.

Things continued to go downhill from there. We're told Frank was lethargic throughout his limited set, so much so he couldn't sing at times. His pre-recorded vocals would play over the sound system, but he couldn't bring himself to mouth the words.

And, for some reason, Frank didn't play his most famous tunes, such as "Thinkin Bout You," cranking out other songs that were less recognizable.

Overall, it seemed, the show was disorganized with plenty of downtime and gaps of awkward silence, leaving the crowd annoyed.

Frank even wrapped up his one-hour performance with an unenthusiastic one-liner ... “Guys I’m being told it’s curfew, so that’s the end of the show.”

21 Savage is coming off a very busy weekend in the desert ... hopping on the bill last minute for the 2023 Revolve Festival, as well as assisting in Metro Boomin's star-studded Coachella set!!!

TMZ Hip Hop obtained video of 21 on Sunday blazing through his hits such as "A Lot," "No Heart," and hit Drake feature "Knife Talk."

Fans at Revolve -- a festival going down about 30 minutes from Coachella -- were notified of 21's performance just moments before he took the stage, inducing pandemonium that carried on throughout his 10-song set.

On Friday, 21 also specialized in the element of surprise during Metro Boomin's Coachella performance on the Sahara stage.

21 not only performed a solo set similar to his Revolve performance but also rocked the mic alongside The Weeknd and Diddy for their "Creepin' (Remix)" ... which has been climbing up the Billboard Hot 100!!!

Metro also spiced up his set with other superstars such as John Legend, Future, Don Toliver and legendary producer Mike Dean playing the keys ... arguably making him the producer to beat this generation!!!

The Southern California sun beat down on the Indio Desert for the third and final day of week 1 of the Coachella Music and Arts Festival ... but the celebs dug deep and found the willpower to brave the heat to go out with a bang with big performers like Bjork, Dominic Fike ... and the ever-illusive FRANK OCEAN!

While it took a little more energy to get up after two crazy days at Coachella, Bella Thorne shared a selfie lounging around in a puuuuurfect crochet Hello Kitty bikini ... While James Charles took a knee on day three in a pair of couture khaki fatigues.

If you were bopping around all the private parties you might have thought you showed up to the desert on the wrong weekend ... because lots of influencers were giving some serious Stagecoach vibes with lots of ranch-infused fashion. Olivia Culpo, Ming Lee Simmons and Paige Taylor all had on the same rootiness tootiness trend topped off with a kitschy cowboy hat.

But, make no mistake, the Coachella stages were still heavily infused with Hip Hop influence. Kali Uchis commanded the Main Stage during her Sunday performance and shocked viewer by not only bringing out Don Toliver for a surprise cameo ... but Tyler, The Creator as well!

Hip Hop hotties also made their mark on week 1. Saweetie popped on the Sahara stage alongside her musical peer Latto and was also spotted posing in The VIP with Rae Sremmurd's Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee. Last, but not least, was GloRilla's much-anticipated performance where she was seen rocking a bright camo style that would make anyone red with envy.

Kendall Jenner and her guy Bad Bunny are clearly enjoying each other's company ... because they were spotted getting pretty close to each other as Coachella wrapped its first weekend.

The model and Puerto Rican rapper seemed to be in great spirits Sunday in Indio -- Kendall was all smiles as she kicked it with BB, who was rocking a bandana over his mouth.

The couple got tons of looks from the massive festival crowd while walking the grounds.

They're clearly beyond the point of denying dating rumors, even though we'd already seen plenty of evidence for the last month that they were an item.

As we reported, Kendall was looking like Bad Bunny's number 1 fan Friday night during his headlining performance ... dancing like no one was watching, which of course, they were.

They've been spotted out for sushi together in WeHo, at an Oscars after-party and even riding horseback together -- now after their fun weekend in the sun we can say the lovebirds are Coachella official.

Will Smith is happy to be just another fan in a sea of 'em at Coachella, having a damn good time cheering his 2 youngest kids -- Willow and Jaden -- who were performing at the festival.

Will proudly showed off his view of the stage Sunday ... he was smack in the middle of the packed crowd there to see the dynamic Smith duo inside the Mojave Tent.

He was grinning from ear to ear as 22-year-old Willow performed her solo set, and her 24-year-old brother joined her onstage.

It was a really cute moment for the siblings, who had a huge embrace before rocking out together. Jaden even rocked a "Willow's brother" shirt underneath his leather jacket.

Of course, this is one of the first times we've seen Will in a huge crowd of folks since the infamous 2022 Oscars. Much better outcome this time around.

Ariana and her new Coachella arm candy are doing more than just dance -- they're straight up making out ... which seems to signal that she has, indeed, turned the page.

Check out this footage, obtained by TMZ, that shows AM and Daniel locking lips in the dark of night ... during what seems to be one the final sets of the evening. They're totally in sync with one another, and eventually you see Ari wrap her arms around this fella.

Sure enough, he goes in for the kiss ... not just once, but at least twice it seems. And yes, she certainly kisses him back -- pretty passionately, too.

Ariana Madix seems to have moved on from Tom Sandoval with a new man -- getting awfully close and cozy with him down at Coachella ... and not trying to hide it either.

The "Vanderpump Rules" star is out in the desert with a bunch of other stars this weekend, and she's been documenting what she's been up to -- but, more importantly, who she's with ... and it looks like she's been hanging out a lot with some fitness trainer dude.

His name is Daniel Wai ... and he's all over Ariana's IG Story. Likewise, she's all over his as well -- and they were dancing the night away for Day 2 ... even posing for a sweet selfie.

Looks like Dan's rolling with her crew of friends, but in any case -- they definitely seem to be an item. Ariana threw up a photo earlier on Friday that showed her holding hands with someone ... and while you can't see the person's face, all signs point to Danny Boy.

The guy's got a somewhat decent social media presence -- about 15,000 followers -- and he's certainly about his craft ... with tons of clips and pics of him working out in the gym.

Meanwhile, we actually know what Tom was up to this weekend ... or at least on Friday. The dude was out at the NAMM Show at the Anaheim Convention Center ... which was basically a big music showcase, where artists could peruse equipment and instruments, and connect with other fellow enthusiasts. As you can see, Tom was worming his way around.

No sign of Raquel Leviss anywhere ... but he seems to be enjoying himself as well. Of course, we've seen him get a move on with his life ... refocusing on his band and touring.

So ... all's well that ends well???

Leonardo DiCaprio was back in the desert this weekend trying to be as low-key as possible -- but his typical incognito look gave him away ... as did the 2 beauties he was hanging with.

The actor was spotted out and about late Saturday night and early into the wee hours of Sunday as Day 2 at Coachella came to a close. While the Empire Polo Club might've closed its gates following the headliners' sets ... there was another party to hit right next door.

Of course, we're talking about Levi's and Tequila Don Julio's Neon Carnival -- which was hosted just a stone's throw away at the Desert International Horse Park in Thermal, CA ... basically, a mini-Coachella.

As we just mentioned ... Leo was in good company -- hanging out with a couple of young women as they all got nice and snug amid the packed crowd. LDC was rocking his usual black baseball cap and COVID-friendly face mask ... which he pulled down in this rare instance. He also eventually lifted his head enough to see that gorgeous face of his.

Hey, bud! Good to see ya.

Looks like DiCaprio was with some friends for this outing too -- and by the looks of his smile ... he was having a ball. Remember, he's a Coachella regular ... having made appearances for the past several years -- and he's usually rolling with a hottie or two.

While he may have been the biggest star on the scene Saturday ... he was far from the only famous person hitting up the Neon Carnival on the late night -- there were lots of others.

Just to give a sense of who else popped in ... Lil Nas X, Janelle Monae, Camila Cabello, Metro Boomin, Lil Baby, Future, Teyana Taylor, Shay Mitchell, Anderson .Paak, Coi Leray, Olivia Culpo, Glorilla, Yo Gotti ... and a helluva lot more. A who's who, really.

Day 2 of Coachella had a terrifying incident when an acrobat fell from high above the stage and crashed in a heap upon the ground.

The acrobat was performing for around 5 minutes when her leg appeared to slip, causing her to slam to the ground, between 2 speakers. It's unclear if she suffered an injury in the air or simply lost her grip on the aerial silks.

The woman was motionless as members of the acrobatic team scrambled to help her. She had no movement at all.

Paramedics arrived quickly and placed her on a backboard. She appeared to blink as they took her away, which is good news.

The crowd was stunned, with some folks trying to get the DJ to stop playing music. A young girl was so traumatized by what she saw, she fainted.

No word on the condition of the acrobat.

Kylie Jenner was among the many who hit up Coachella this weekend with friends, but the one person not in her orbit was the guy she's rumored to be seeing ... Timothee Chalamet.

The beauty mogul and reality TV star was seen wading through a crowd Friday night and rushing to a VIP area where she could catch Bad Bunny's headlining set ... alongside her sister, Kendall, and other pals in tow -- including Saudi Arabian model Fai Khadra.

You've probably seen this dude hanging out with Kylie and Kendall a lot over the past several years -- and that's because he's a good buddy of theirs ... aka, not a new flame.

Despite the fact that he seems to be guiding Kylie through the chaos -- and even reaching for and touching her hand at one point -- we know there's nothing romantic going on with these two ... it's just platonic, and there are no clear signs of PDA outside of that anyway.

Of course, with that now being established ... it leads to the obvious observation -- Timmy's absence amid a massive rumor mill surrounding these two ... namely, him and Kylie.

As we've reported ... there's been a ton of speculation and gossip about him and Kylie recently dating -- and considering we've seen her car at his place just this past week ... there may, in fact, be some truth to the matter.

Add in the fact they went on a covert mission to grab tacos in the heart of L.A. a full week-plus ago -- in broad daylight, no less -- and that's just more smoke to this would-be fire.

Shawn Mendes reunited with his old flame at Coachella ... one Camila Cabello.

We haven't seen them together since their split more than a year ago, and not much is known about what was behind the breakup, but here they were Friday, chatting it up in a clip posted by KIIS FM on Twitter.

The couple, who broke up in November 2021, seemed pretty chill with each other ... she says something to Shawn and he responds with drink in hand.

They both looked great ... Camila wore a white bustier top and Shawn was rocking a tee with a bandana.

Now here's the thing .... the woman lots of folks think Shawn is dating was nearby -- 51-year-old Dr. Jocelyne Miranda. They've been together A LOT in recent months, so there's definitely smoke. She's his chiropractor, but it looks much more than professional.

Love the Coachella drama!!!

Bad Bunny and Post Malone were fan faves at the kickoff of Coachella on Friday night ... but their performance suffered a brief hiccup, although it didn't put a damper on the mood.

Bunny brought Post out on stage during his two-hour show in the hot desert of Indio, CA, and the packed crowd just went berserk.

The superstars were playing acoustic guitar versions of Bunny's hits, "La Cancion" and "Yonaguni," when Post's mic suddenly went dead.

Check out video, obtained by TMZ, showing Bunny singing into a mic -- which was working just fine -- as Post was strumming his guitar, which was barely audible due to the technical difficulties. But, the two just kinda laughed it all off as the sea of fans began singing a capella to fill the unusual void on stage.

Despite their best efforts, they couldn't get Post's mic back up and running, and he made a graceful exit as Bad Bunny polished off his near-perfect set.

At another point during Bad Bunny's performance, there was another slight mishap. Post was dancing around the stage and took a little spill, but recovered nicely.

All in all, it was an exceptional performance by the two musical giants. And this surely won't be the last time we see them working together.

Amanda Bynes has been released from a mental hospital more than 3 weeks after she was first admitted for treatment ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to Bynes tell us she was released Monday from the facility in Southern California after both Amanda and the medical staff determined she was ready to get back to her day-to-day life.

As we first told you, Amanda will start outpatient treatment to make sure she stays on the right path, working with doctors and specialists for the help she needs moving forward.

Our sources say Amanda will live in her own home, as she was before the hospitalization, and keep much of the independence she earned after 9 years in a conservatorship.

TMZ broke the story ... it was last month when Amanda was spotted naked and roaming the streets early morning near Downtown Los Angeles.

A witness tells us it was Amanda who flagged down a nearby vehicle, signaling she needed help. From there, Amanda called 911 and let operators know she was under some sort of psychosis and needed assistance.

Taylor Swift clearly has a major hold on her fan base, 'cause the pants she wore on her first public single-girl outing have already sold out ... with some fans already looking into a deeper meaning behind her fashion choice.

Taylor wore a pair of "Butterfly-patch Cropped Jeans" from a brand called Area out in NYC Monday night. The pants, which come complete with a bedazzled butterfly on the leg and retail for $673, were still available online early Tuesday morning. However, Swifites were quick to track down the item, causing the pants to sell out from multiple retailers in a few hours.

Like just about everything Taylor does, her fans even hunted for clues in the singer's fashion choice -- believing the butterfly may symbolize rebirth and starting over.

As we reported, Swift wasn't alone for her night out in NYC's West Village, joined by pal Jack Antonoff and his fiancée, actress Margaret Qualley.

It's been less than a week since news broke about Taylor's relationship with Joe Alwyn coming to an end after 6 years together -- and the public outing in NYC was certainly a rare one -- only time will tell if Taylor's deciding to come out of her cocoon a little bit more.

Before the world even knew Raquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval were a thing, he was comfortable enough to bring her home -- making the bold decision to bring her around his friends and family -- an offer his loved ones shut down ... TMZ has learned.

Check out the photo, obtained by TMZ, showing Tom and Raquel posing in front of the Apotheosis of Saint Louis in his hometown on December 29. We're told the two spent time together there ... Tom even brought her to hang out with some of his closest friends.

Our sources say Tom's family knew Raquel was with him in town, but had no interest in meeting her. We're told they thought it was inappropriate for him to bring another girl home while he was still with Ariana -- and they didn't support his seemingly new, secret relationship with Raquel.

As for his friends, our sources say Tom told them he was trying to break things off with Ariana right before the trip, and they were going to therapy together.

After the hometown visit, the two drove to Chicago for one of Tom's shows, but Raquel didn't attend out of fear she'd get recognized.

TMZ broke the story ... Tom and Raquel have continued to be an item even after the two were both roasted on the "Vanderpump Rules" reunion show. In fact, they grabbed dinner together at Musso and Frank Grill just hours after taping wrapped.

There's nothing like a familiar face for Taylor Swift in the wake of her split from Joe Alwyn ... as she's getting by with a little help from her pal and longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff.

T. Swift hit NYC's West Village Monday night for a bite at Via Carota, and, apparently, has no issues being the third wheel ... now that she's single. She dined with Jack and his fiancée, actress Margaret Qualley.

The timing of the trio's night out for some Italian is interesting for a couple of reasons. First, Taylor's hardly looking super sad -- at least on the outside -- which might support the theory her breakup from Joe didn't go down all that recently.

Secondly, freshly heartbroken folks rarely wanna hang out with freshly in love couples ... like Jack and Margaret, for instance. They got engaged last May after about a year of dating -- so, again, we'd guess Taylor wouldn't be in the mood to catch up on Margaret and Jack's wedding plans ... IF she and Joe had just broken up.

As we reported, news of Taylor and Joe's demise, after 6 years of dating, leaked over the weekend, but they hadn't been seen together in public in a long time -- and some fans noticed he hadn't been at any of her Eras Tour shows either.

So far, neither is saying exactly when they split ... or who called things off.

Of course, TS and singer/songwriter Jack have worked together for years ... he's co-written or co-produced several dozen of Taylor's tracks. Who knows, maybe they hashed out her next great breakup song while breaking bruschetta!

Millie Bobby Brown and her boyfriend Jake Bongiovi are officially taking things to the next level ... the young couple's announcing their engagement.

The "Stranger Things" star shared her big news Tuesday morning by posting a pic of Jake -- the 20-year-old son of Jon Bon Jovi -- hugging her. It looks like the shot was taken moments after he popped the question, because his now fiancée is rocking a stunning diamond ring on her left ring finger.

19-year-old Millie's caption for the engagement post included a quote from Taylor Swift's song "Lovers" -- "I've loved you 3 summers now, honey, I want 'em all".

Jake and Millie have been together since 2021 when they initially met on IG. They became friends IRL, and have been inseparable since.

JB, who happens to be the spitting image of his pops, also made sure to share the special moment with his followers -- the caption on his 2 photos simply read, "Forever 🤍".

It's unclear when exactly the engagement went down ... there had been recent speculation because Millie was seen potentially wearing the diamond ring in another photo, not too long ago.

Well, turns out that rumor is true. Congrats!
