Pro Baseball Players Charge At Fans In Stands ... After Alleged Beer-Throwing Incident

Published

A pro baseball game turned ugly Thursday night ... when players charged at fans in the stands after some spectators allegedly threw beer at them.

The wild scene all went down in a Frontier League game at Yogi Berra Stadium in Little Falls, NJ ... when the New Jersey Jackals vs. Sussex County Miners tilt had to be paused due to a near-brawl in the stands.

The incident was all captured on video ... and it's crazy -- 'cause players from both teams bum-rushed at spectators, nearly igniting a huge fight in the seats.

You can see in the clip, players were all the way up in the 2nd and 3rd rows, getting in the faces of fans ... and it appeared the guys were just moments away from letting fists fly.

Fortunately, other players were able to hold aggressors back ... and play resumed without any real, major tiffs blowing up.

As for why it all happened ... it was $1 beer night at the stadium -- and one witness said a fan had no problem throwing some suds at players during a break in the action -- 'causing the athletes to explode.

In the end, cooler heads prevailed ... and the Miners ended up winning a wild one, 15-14.

Blue Origin Flight Will Make History ... Youngest & Oldest Space Travelers!!!

Published | Updated

Jeff Bezos lost the billionaire space race to Richard Branson, but his trip will still be historic ... because it's carrying both a teenager and an octogenarian into space.

As you've probably heard ... the Amazon honcho's rocket company, Blue Origin, is scheduled to launch into space aboard the New Shepard rocket July 20. When it does, its first paying customer -- 18-year-old Oliver Daemen -- will go down in the record books as the youngest space traveler ever.

Blue Origin announced the Dutch teenager would join Jeff and his brother, Mark Bezos, on the flight because the original $28 million winner of the company's auction for the spot chose a later mission "due to scheduling conflicts."

That person remains anonymous, but Oliver is the son of Somerset Capital Partners CEO Joes Daemen ... who paid for his kid to replace the original winner.

Meanwhile, the person who will pilot Blue Origin's rocket with the 3 men aboard is 82-year-old Wally Funk ... who will become the oldest human to go to space.

Funk was part of the Mercury 13, a group of 13 American women who in the early 1960s underwent similar studies as NASA’s Mercury 7 astronauts to determine if they could handle space travel ... but they never launched.

If all goes according to plan, Wally will finally get there, and when she does she will break the age record set by John Glenn, who returned to space in 1998 at the age of 77. Daemen will break the youth record set by the Soviet cosmonaut Gherman Titov, who was 25 when he blasted into orbit in 1961.

Courtney Stodden Chrissy's a Bully Playing the Victim

Published | Updated

Courtney Stodden is tired of Chrissy Teigen talking like she's a victim of cancel culture -- they say she's really just a bully trying to score sympathy points.

Here's the deal ... Chrissy recently vented on social media, saying she's the newest member of the "cancel club" in the wake of her cyberbullying scandal, but Courtney sees that as BS ... because, as they tell us, "cancel club" isn't even a real thing.

On the other hand, Courtney says normalizing bullying definitely is real, and that's their concern -- despite Chrissy's online griping, if bullies don't suffer consequences they'll never change.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

As you know, there's a long history between Courtney and Chrissy ... with Courtney claiming Chrissy bullied the hell out of them back in the day and even allegedly told Stodden to kill themselves.

You'll remember, back in June, Chrissy said she'd be privately reaching out to "people I insulted" to apologize for past conduct -- but we're told she still has not contacted Courtney or their team. She's also still blocking Courtney on Twitter.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

One celeb who has apologized to Courtney for previously making fun of her is Jason Biggs ... who  recently sent them a DM as an olive branch.

CS tells us they're "done with the games" and they just want to focus on bigger issues, not on Chrissy feeling like she's unfairly being canceled or victimized.

Bottom line for Courtney ... just be nice, Chrissy.

'Jackass' Star Sean McInerney Gets Emotional Over Shark Attack Scary New Vid of the Bite!!!

Published | Updated

To say the "Jackass" star known as "Poopies" had a crappy time filming a "Shark Week" special is a huge understatement -- a shark attacked him, and although he survived ... it's taken a huge emotional toll.

Sean McInerney got bit while attempting a dangerous stunt -- a wakeboard jump over shark-infested waters -- for Discovery Channel's collab with the "Jackass" guys. It's clear from this footage, and Poopies' own words, he came terrifyingly close to death.

Poopies knows it, for sure -- watch him relive the frightening ordeal he went through as his jump came up short, and he landed in the shark pit. He says a Caribbean reef shark almost immediately clamped down on his hand.

Poor guy broke down crying as he remembered feeling this was gonna be the end for him.

Fortunately, the nearby safety medic sacrificed his own safety, and Poopies is sure that's the only reason he's alive to tell the tale.

He's now dealing with a gnarly hand injury that looks like it's going to take a lot of time to heal -- and the phrase, "jumped the shark" is one Poopies won't be taking lightly anymore.

NJ Man on Racist Rant Judge Rules ... You're a Danger to Your Community!!!

Published

The guy who unleashed that racist tirade on his Black neighbor before getting hauled away by police will remain in custody ... a judge was convinced he's too dangerous to be on the streets.

Edward Cagney Mathews, the NJ man arrested over his viral racist meltdown, appeared Wednesday in Burlington County Superior Court, where the judge ruled Mathews poses a high risk to the community and ordered him to remain locked up ... at least for now.

The judge cited Mathews' extensive criminal history, including 20 prior convictions with one violent conviction ... siding with prosecutors who wanted Mathews to remain in custody.

Prosecutors also pointed to previous allegations that he once smeared feces on a neighbor's car, shot out a window with ball bearing ammo and slashed car tires.

Prosecutors also say police installed a surveillance camera at Mathews' housing development but claim he intentionally avoided surveillance ... and they said he's ramped up attacks against neighbors by throwing rocks at cars and through living room windows.

Mathews' legal team wanted him released with certain conditions -- the judge shot that down, but noted he's got 7 days to appeal.

Amazon Delivery Guy Goes Above and Beyond ... Kills Giant Freakin' Spider!!!

Published | Updated

An Amazon worker not only delivered a woman's package directly to her doorstep despite impending danger ... he freed her to leave her home.

The customer -- who goes by gwenniesanchez on TikTok and says she lives in Texas -- shared her horrifying spider dilemma. The giant arachnid stationed itself on her porch, including spending some time right on top of her doorbell camera.

Waiting for your permission to load TikTok Post.

So, she asked Amazon to leave her package at a different spot because the spider made her too afraid to go out her front door. Gwen also requested, "If you could kill the spider for me that would be amazing."

Well, lo and behold, the Amazon delivery guy took it upon himself to help his customer out ... by taking off his shoe and sending the creature to hell.

Looks like it took a couple whacks -- the spider was massive after all -- but then the dude went on his way.

Gwen is now asking for help in finding the driver so she can thank him. No word yet if she's had any success ... but at least she can use her front door again.

Sir Richard Branson appears to still be on cloud nine -- or whatever number it is at 55 miles above sea level -- and now the trailblazing billionaire's autograph is an even hotter commodity.

The Virgin Galactic boss and newly minted astronaut was making his way to "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" Tuesday in NYC when he got a hero's welcome from a group of admirers ... most of them toting Sharpies and pics of Sir Richard.

He made his way over to greet his fans and sign some photos, telling them his recent voyage was "special" ... and he snapped lots of great photos.

BRANSON BREAKS BARRIERS

Based on what we saw for ourselves Sunday -- when Branson and his fellow travelers launched into sub-orbital space aboard the VSS Unity -- we believe him, and we're pretty jealous.

Of course, Richard might be the first business magnate to fly commercial all the way to zero gravity ... but Jeff Bezos is right on his heels. He's set to take off July 20.

TIME TO LET GO

The Virgin founder didn't have anything to say about beating the Amazon founder in the billionaire space race, but he really didn't have to ... the look on his face says it all.

Branson's warm welcome in New York does pale in comparison to some other astronauts -- the ticker-tape parade for the crew of Apollo 11 back in 1969 was pretty epic.

But, ya know ... that space race was a tad more important, and went a tad bit further than Sir Richard's.

Victoria's Secret Woman has wild freak-out ... After Being Recorded

Published
UPDATE

3:32 PM PT -- Millburn PD -- whose officers responded to the scene -- has shed more light on what they say happened when their boys in blue touched down on the scene Saturday.

UPDATE

The department says it was actually this so-called "Karen" who initially called cops, and whom the officers first spoke with upon arriving at the Victoria's Secret in the Short Hills Mall. They explain that this woman told them she was having a panic attack due to the other woman, Ukenta, recording her ... which she apparently thought would lead to her losing her job.

UPDATE

The cops then spoke to Ukenta, who they say told them she was recording to protect herself from false accusations -- and then went on to ask the officers to remove the "Karen," which the officers refused to do ... as they say there was no legal precedent to do so based on the circumstances. What they say they did offer, however, was a courtesy escort to Ukenta's car ... which she refused. They also told her she could file a formal complaint if she wanted.

UPDATE

One other important thing of note ... although the cops say Ukenta claims the "Karen" lunged at her, they found no evidence anyone had actually been struck.

UPDATE

Anyway, a couple days later, MPD says Ukenta came in to complain about the actual officers themselves ... as she was unhappy with how they handled the situation. It doesn't appear any paperwork has been filed against anyone at this point, though ... so say the cops, anyway.

UPDATE

The department finishes by saying that, for now, they don't think their officers did anything wrong, and believes they acted professionally to diffuse things. That said, an internal investigation is underway to get to the bottom of it and to see if any punishment is warranted.

UPDATE

11:20 AM PT -- A rep for the Essex County Prosecutors Office tells TMZ ... an investigation is underway over this to determine if any laws were broken -- which includes the conduct of officers who arrived on the scene to deal.

UPDATE

Apparently, there's another video that shows Ukenta talking to the cops, who didn't seem too concerned ... supposedly telling her they couldn't remove the "Karen" if she didn't want to leave the mall.

A woman who's being labeled "Victoria's Secret Karen" broke down in tears and pretended to pass out as she was being recorded by another woman ... who claims the 'Karen' tried to hit her.

This incredible breakdown happened at a Victoria's Secret in Millburn, NJ ... and the woman holding the camera, Ijeoma Ukenta, claims the blonde nearly attacked her right before she started recording.

Ijeoma, who is Black, claims as soon as she started rolling, the woman's behavior changed in an instant -- going from alleged aggressor to playing the full-blown victim. The switch is pretty wild to observe: she falls to the ground and starts crying, complaining Ijeoma is recording her, repeatedly demanding she stop and even chases her around the store at one point.

Interestingly, some shoppers came to the so-called Karen's defense, as Ijeoma continued to record ... something she said she was doing to protect herself from any false claims the woman might make to police. Hilariously, Ijeoma also repeatedly said she was just there for a free panty deal VS was running.

Police eventually showed up, and the woman reportedly told police she was upset about the recording because she was worried the video would be shared online -- it has gone viral -- and she might face repercussions ... such as potentially losing her job.

In the end, neither woman were arrested, but Ijeoma's unhappy with how cops on the scene treated her -- as if she was the aggressor -- and she plans to file a complaint.

"[Dustin Poirier], thanks for getting me paid," Floyd said just minutes after the match.

Of course, the barbs are just the latest in a long-going feud between Floyd and Conor ... as the two have proven over and over again they REALLY don't like each other.

In fact, it was just a few weeks ago that Conor was throwing repeated jabs at Floyd for his whole drama with Logan and Jake Paul.

Unclear if it's all part of a plan to set up an eventual boxing rematch between the two ... but if it is, we're certainly for it.

Sha'Carri Richardson Gunning To Put On 'A Show' After Ban ... Racing In Aug. Event

Published | Updated

Sha'Carri Richardson won't race in the Olympics ... but she has committed to running again in August -- and she says she's now gunning to put on "a show" at the event.

The 21-year-old -- who was left off the Team USA roster this month due to a failed weed test and subsequent suspension -- will compete in the Prefontaine Classic in Oregon on August 20-21.

The event will likely be the first she runs in following the conclusion of her ban -- which formally ends on July 28.

And, Richardson is hoping to prove she's still one of the most elite runners in the world at the venue ... saying in a statement Monday, "I'm looking forward to running fast and putting on a show."

Event organizers say Richardson has signed up to compete in the 100 and 200-meter races.

As we previously reported, Richardson had been a favorite to medal at the Tokyo Olympics later this month ... but she was suspended 30 days after she tested positive for marijuana following last month's Olympic Trials.

Richardson explained she had consumed the drug to help her cope with losing her biological mother.

USA Track and Field officials, though, still left her off the team, saying, "All USATF athletes are equally aware of and must adhere to the current anti-doping code, and our credibility as the National Governing Body would be lost if rules were only enforced under certain circumstances."

Richardson told TMZ Sports just days ago that she was at peace with the USATF decision ... saying she's "accepting of it."

NJ Man on Racist Rant Neighbors Bracing for His Return ... Amped Up Police Presence

Published | Updated

The guy who unleashed a racist diatribe on his Black neighbor, and invited protestors to his front door will find more cops outside his house and a community on edge when he comes home.

Edward Cagney Mathews, the NJ man arrested over his viral racist meltdown, has neighbors bracing for his return ... with his HOA telling us they're preparing a beefed-up security plan in case things go haywire -- like they did when he was arrested last weekend.

We're told there will be an amped-up police presence too ... on the block, and right outside Mathews' place, which will be monitored 24/7.

The Essex Place Community HOA tells us they're working closely with prosecutors and police to make sure everyone's safe when Mathews comes home ... which could be as soon as Tuesday, when he has a hearing to decide his bail.

Remember, a huge mob of protestors descended on his home, throwing things at him as cops were taking him into custody.

HISTORY OF RACIST REMARKS

It doesn't seem like the outrage will blow over easily ... as we first told you, prosecutors are digging into past allegations of similar incidents involving Mathews.

NFL's Mike Hughes Vomited All Over Teammate's Car During '19 Stop ... Police Video Shows

Published | Updated

NFL cornerback Mike Hughes blew chunks all over his former teammate Jayron Kearse's Mercedes while Kearse was being arrested for DWI back in 2019 ... and the gross scene was all captured on police video.

The footage was just released to TMZ Sports this week ... and it's pretty nasty -- showing Hughes vomiting multiple times while cops arrested Kearse, Hughes' then-Minnesota Vikings defensive backfield-mate, on October 27, 2019, in Minneapolis.

You can see in the video, after cops pulled over Kearse for allegedly bypassing a barricade and illegally driving on a highway that was closed off for construction at around 3:15 AM, Hughes began throwing up from the backseat of Kearse's car.

In the footage, it's clear as day, as cops detained Kearse ... Hughes continuously opened the rear passenger door and unloaded the contents of his stomach.

The video shows cops saying they believe Hughes was yacking due to having consumed too much alcohol earlier in the evening.

Kearse, meanwhile, can be seen in the footage appearing to bomb field sobriety tests ... and at one point, one officer says in the video the football player failed a breathalyzer test too.

In the clip, cops say Kearse had a BAC of .124, well above the legal limit of .08, so they arrested him -- and when they went back to check on Hughes in the car, they say they found a loaded gun in the vehicle beneath Hughes' feet.

Fortunately for Hughes, cops say Kearse ultimately fessed up to owning the firearm without a permit ... so Hughes didn't end up in any trouble.

Kearse, though, was taken to the station and ultimately hit with five misdemeanor charges, including DWI and possession of a pistol while under the influence of alcohol.

27-year-old Kearse -- who left the Vikings following the 2019 season to play for the Detroit Lions -- went on to strike a plea deal with prosecutors in the case back in February 2020.

He's since signed on to play for the Dallas Cowboys in 2021.

24-year-old Hughes, meanwhile, stayed with the Vikings through the 2019 and 2020 seasons after the incident ... but he was traded in May to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Both Hughes -- a 1st-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft -- and Kearse were teammates in Minnesota from 2018 through 2019.

Wendy Williams on Slain TikToker Owes Apology for Mocking Swavy ... Says His Mom & Brother

Published | Updated

Wendy Williams made light of the murder of TikTok star Swavy on her TV show -- something for which his mother and brother say she now needs to apologize ... because she painted him in a bad light and outright disrespected him too.

We spoke with Swavy's mom and older sibling -- Chanell Clark and Rahkim Clark, respectively -- about the segment Wendy did earlier this week on-camera ... where she introduced Swavy to her audience by comparing social media followers, and throwing up a not-so-flattering photo of him -- this before getting to the lede ... namely, him being killed.

You can see the clip for yourself ... and it's obvious why Chanelle and Rahkim are upset -- not to mention scores of people who watched this at home, who were outraged by her handling of such a sensitive topic. The Millers are in the same boat, as it turns out.

Check out our interview ... Rahkim takes the lead on explaining why Wendy's words were so hurtful. As he points out -- this isn't just another celebrity news gossip story she may normally cover in her day-to-day lineup ... this is their own flesh and blood, and it's real life for them.

071121_wendy_williams_kal_1
you guys know who this is???

As angry as he is, it's probably nothing compared to Chanelle -- whom, BTW, says she saw her son get shot in Delaware Monday, and was actually with him during his last breaths. She flat out tells TMZ ... Wendy owes her/the fam a huge sorry for discussing her boy that way.

The Millers say they felt Wendy misrepresented Swavy as a thug or as someone who dabbled in the street, and that couldn't be further from the truth. So, they're demanding a full mea culpa ... and a correction for good measure.

Waiting for your permission to load TikTok Post.

Fact is ... the young man was already blowing up online, but his mother and brother feel she exposed him to a whole new demographic in the worst possible way -- tarnishing his legacy.

Wendy doesn't appear to have responded to the backlash just yet.

Disney's Jungle Cruise Ride Update Revealed Coast-To-Coast ... Loses All Signs of 'Natives'

Published | Updated

Disney has a new Jungle Cruise look at its theme parks -- this after catching flak for what some said were racist depictions -- and they did away with any and all offending robots.

The honchos at Disney unveiled this week an update to their Jungle Cruise rides at both Disneyland and Disney World ... which were getting re-tweaked over the past year and change after a ton of people demanded they lose the so-called "natives" along the OG path.

The Mouse House posted a BTS video showing the process of what went into reworking the ride -- and the engineers reiterated what Disney said in a statement ... namely, that they wanted to remain faithful to what everyone loves and remembers about Jungle Cruise voyages of the past, while also being inclusive/respectful/accurate over depicting cultures.

What that, apparently, amounted to in the final product -- based on video they posted of the updated Jungle Cruise ride -- is no trace of the indigenous people that used to be seen along the way.

Most of those indigenous people were portrayed as Black -- but they were also made out to look like what some have characterized as "savages" ... something that's been done time and again dating back to the 20th century. Dr. Seuss even used to portray indigenous people in the same fashion ... always drawing them with super dark skin and exaggerated features.

It appears none of those depictions are still around in the new ride -- but there are still Black people featured. Only now, they're seen as part of the exploration squad ... as opposed to being seen as the scary, cannibal-esque bad guys threatening the cruise passengers.

The call to revamp Jungle Cruise came on the heels of Disney announcing they were also giving their Splash Mountain rides a facelift ... with the OG animatronics also being called racist and perpetuating deep South tropes. They took care of that, and now ... this too.

Up next -- Peter Pan and their Native American robots. Just kidding ... maybe.

American Airlines Lady Taped to Seat ... Alleged Mental Health Scare

Published | Updated

A woman who allegedly had a mental health episode aboard an American Airlines flight appears to have been taped down after freaking out in the air ... and the crew's drastic response is getting some side-eye.

This video was captured by TikTok user @lol.ariee a few days ago, during a late-night AA flight that she says was taking off from the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport and was in the air for about 2 hours. During that time ... a situation unfolded that caused a bit of a panic.

Waiting for your permission to load TikTok Post.

According to the TikToker, flight attendants started frantically running up and down the aisles at around 1:30 AM, locking bathroom doors and securing the scene for something that was happening up near the front. She says no one said anything ... just hush-hush whispering.

Eventually, she says the captain got on the intercom, and told everyone to stay in their seats 'cause of the problem toward the front, which he apparently said they were handling. When they eventually landed, this user captured the aftermath ... a woman duct-taped to her seat, with her mouth also taped -- who was crying out as passengers passed her to deplane.

Waiting for your permission to load TikTok Post.

As the TikTok user exited the plane, she recorded paramedics who were standing by with a stretcher. She later posted other videos saying she'd heard the woman was trying to actually get out of the plane during the flight, and seemed to be having an episode of some sort.

Sources familiar with the situation confirm that latter account to us ... saying the woman was, indeed, going ballistic. But, we haven't heard about her allegedly attempting to open doors or anything. In any case ... people are openly wondering if AA handled this the right way.

If she was actually having a breakdown of some sort ... some have questioned if restraining her in that manner might actually do more harm than good. Of course, others have pointed out that, in a scenario like that, the crew has to do what they must to keep people safe.

Waiting for your permission to load TikTok Post.

As for American, a rep for the company tells us this ... "While in flight from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) to Charlotte (CLT) on July 6, the crew on board American Airlines flight 1774 reported a potential security concern after a customer attempted to open the forward boarding door and physically assaulted, bit and caused injury to a flight attendant." They add, "For the safety and security of other customers and our crew, the individual was restrained until the flight landed at CLT and could be met by law enforcement and emergency personnel."

We've also heard the woman was taken to a hospital for an evaluation, and that she's on AA's no-fly list until further notice. The flight landed successfully without further incident.
