Joel Osteen Ye & I Taking Show on the Road ... IF It's God's Will, Of Course

Published | Updated

Joel Osteen's making it clear -- he would very much like for Kanye West and him to keep their holy get-togethers going into the new year and all over the country.

We spoke to the megachurch preacher Tuesday in NYC, and asked if he and Ye's Yankee Stadium stop next year is an omen -- meaning, more sermons and shows in multiple cities. Essentially, a national tour. Check it out ... Joel says he'd like that.

Now, he stopped short of a guarantee ... the deets are still being worked out. However, he did confirm at least 1 future location they're working on -- Ye's hometown of Chicago.

JO also told us a little bit about how he and his new partner-in-faith even crossed paths in the first place.

Kanye West, Sunday Service 11/17/19
YE AT LAKEWOOD

As for their potential collabs -- Joel might be on to something by teaming up with Yeezy. Their partnership has already paid dividends and publicity beyond their wildest dreams. You'll recall, Kanye's visit to Osteen's Lakewood Church turned out to be a ratings bonanza -- raking in millions of unique viewers across multiple platforms.

Our camera guy also got Joel's take on a subject that's been on a lot of people's minds since Ye started fully embracing his Christianity -- is he actually genuine about this???

He says he can't judge what's in a man's heart -- much like Montell Jordan told us -- but Joel says his gut tells him Kanye's the real deal when it comes to loving God.

Dallas Cowboys' Antwaun Woods Arrest Video 'You've Got A Lot Of Marijuana'

MORE ARREST FOOTAGE
UPDATE

2:07 PM PT -- TMZ Sports has obtained more police footage from Woods' arrest ... and you can see the Cowboys' defensive tackle admits to placing his marijuana cigarette in his water bottle.

UPDATE

"I was trying my best to follow the rules," Woods said.

Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Antwaun Woods was repeatedly told he had WAY TOO MUCH weed in his car during his arrest last week ... and it's all in new police video.

Woods was stopped in Frisco, Texas on Dec. 3 after cops say he was doing 77 MPH in a 60 zone ... and when officers say they smelled a strong odor of weed coming from his car, the NFL player was in big trouble.

Cops found 2 glass mason jars and a small gold cylinder container full of weed in his 2016 Cadillac Escalade ... and also discovered several pieces of drug paraphernalia.

The officers also say they noticed the 26-year-old had stuffed a small marijuana cigarette into a half-full water bottle during the stop.

In the video of the bust ... you can see an officer tells Woods straight-up, "So, listen, you've got too much marijuana, okay?"

That's when Woods tries to talk the officer out of putting him in cuffs ... saying, "Come on, bro, are you serious?"

Juice WRLD Feds Were on His Trail ... Searched Private Jet in Nov. Too

Published | Updated
UPDATE

7:21 AM PT -- Chicago PD tells us it's now taken over the case of the seized marijuana. We're told CPD has possession of the stash, and will now handle that part of the investigation.

UPDATE

Both the FBI and CPD have jurisdiction at Midway Airport, but we're told the FBI's referring this one to the locals. Translation: the feds punted.

Juice WRLD's movements had been under the microscope of federal agents since at least last month ... and TMZ has learned it started with another private jet search.

Juice's initial run-in with the feds went down on November 18 at LAX ... according to our law enforcement sources. The rapper and his entourage were boarding their flight bound for Sydney, Australia, when Customs Agents conducted the search.

We're told drug-sniffing dogs were all over Juice and co. and their luggage. It's unclear if agents found anything -- we do know the plane was eventually allowed to take off with Juice on board.

TMZ broke the story ... Homeland Security agents, operating under an FBI task force, searched Juice WRLD's private jet early Sunday morning when it landed at Chicago's Midway Airport.

As we reported, cops confiscated 70 lbs. of marijuana and 3 handguns after searching the plane. We're told Juice suffered his seizure -- which turned out to be fatal -- as agents were conducting their search. Our sources say someone in his entourage told cops he had taken several "unknown pills."

As for why the feds were so keyed in to his late-night flight to Chi-Town? It's possible it had something to do with the intel they'd gathered during the LAX search. Additionally, we're told the pilot had reported Juice's bodyguards for having handguns -- a no-no if they're not packed properly, or if the bodyguard doesn't have a permit.

We've reached out to the FBI for more detail on last month's search, but so far ... radio silence.

Bill Cosby Loses Appeal ... Due to 'Unique Sexual Assault Playbook'

Published | Updated

Bill Cosby's effort to get his sexual assault conviction overturned has been denied ... because the appellate court wasn't buying what he tried to sell.

According to new legal docs ... Cosby's claims about unfair testimony in the Andrea Constand case were ruled invalid. Cosby felt the testimony from 5 other women was bogus because their allegations were more than 15 years old, and too different from Constand's allegations.

The appellate court ruled the testimony from the women was warranted because it established Cosby's "unique sexual assault playbook" ... and spells out exactly what it was.

According to the docs ... Cosby would target women substantially younger than him, invite them to hang out, get them to trust him because of his celebrity status, ply them with intoxicants and then sexually assault them while they were not fully conscious.

The appellate court ruled the trial court in Cosby's case did nothing wrong, and the testimony established the disgraced comedian's predictable pattern of behavior.

The court also rejected additional arguments by Cosby, including his long-held stance that he had a deal with the D.A. not to prosecute him.

As we've reported ... 82-year-old Cosby was sentenced to 3 to 10 years for sexually assaulting Constand at his home his 2004.

If he appeals again ... it'll go to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Cuba Gooding Jr. Sexual Misconduct Claims Piling Up ... 7 More Women Come Forward

Published

Cuba Gooding Jr.'s facing a slew of accusations from 7 more women, ranging from forcible kissing and touching to comments about urinating on him ... according to new legal docs.

The new allegations bring the total number of women who have come forward to accuse the actor of sexual misconduct to 22.

According to docs ... one woman claims Gooding began to kiss her without consent while they were hanging out at Sundance Music Festival in January 2009. She says she pushed him away and reminded him he's married, but he touched her butt and forced his hand on her crotch area, "placing his fingers on her anus" and ripped her tights.

The woman claims he only stopped because she bit his cheek and took off.

Another woman alleges he groped her in Atlanta in 2011 and when she confronted him, he replied ... "I know you want to be an actress; I can ruin you."

And, there's yet another incident in which Cuba allegedly demanded a woman pee on him -- this time in Malibu in 2018, according to the docs. He allegedly told a woman, "You're going to sit on my face, pee in my mouth and pee all over me." She claims these pee comments happened on 3 separate occasions at the same bar over the course of 2 years.

As we reported, Cuba's been accused of this before ... another woman previously claimed he told her in February 2011 to "Sit on my face, pee in my mouth."

THE VIDEO EVIDENCE AT TAO

The new allegations are part of Gooding Jr.'s current case in Manhattan, in which he's been indicted on criminal charges stemming from 3 separate alleged incidents in NYC. He's not charged for any of the claims by the 7 new accusers ... but prosecutors want to use them to strengthen their case against the actor.

As we've reported ... Cuba wants the indictment tossed.

Gooding’s lawyer, Mark Heller, says his client “has and does deny all allegations of criminal conduct.” He says ... “Unfortunately, people come out of the woodwork, making false allegations against Cuba, as often times happens when a celebrity is accused by the District Attorney’s Office in a Public Forum."

Heller adds ... "The spurious, uncharged allegations offered by the District Attorney’s Office are so ancient and outdated and lacking in details and impairs the Defendant from defending against them; thus, it demonstrates that the District Attorney’s Office’s motive in introducing these inflammatory, uncharged allegations is not for any probative value, but to merely gain an advantage against the Defendant and prejudice the Jury against the Defendant.”

A NEXT LEVEL PREMIERE

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Kevin Hart and the cast of 'Jumanji' made one helluva an entrance for their premiere ... riding dune buggies down Hollywood Boulevard!!!

Dwayne was behind the wheel and Kevin was riding shotgun Monday night as they weaved through Hollywood before ultimately ending up at the TCL Chinese Theatre. Also riding along were Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas and Golden Globe nominee Awkwafina.

Leave it to The Rock to rock the hell out of a blue suit with metallic gold roses. Seriously, no one else can pull that off.

His longtime companion and new wife, Lauren Hashian, joined him at the premiere looking every bit like a superstar herself. Dwayne's mom, Ata Johnson, also attended.

But, when it came time to strike a pose ... Jack Black blew them all away with tons of karate kicks, jumping, pointing and flipping his hair. Where does he get the energy? Nvm, don't answer that.

Naturally, everyone present ate it up, though.

Ex-NBAer Larry Sanders On Juice WRLD Death ... Rap Has Serious Drug Problem

Published | Updated

Juice WRLD's death is another heart-breaking example of the drug epidemic in rap ... so says ex-NBA player Larry Sanders, who tells TMZ Sports he hopes people can learn from the tragedy.

TMZ broke the story ... the 21-year-old died on Sunday after suffering a seizure. Law enforcement sources say the "Robbery" rapper swallowed a bunch of Percs to hide them from the feds during a drug raid, which could have played a role in his death.

Of course, rappers like Mac Miller and Lil Peep have also died due to drug-related issues ... and Sanders says the glorification of drugs in rap culture is becoming a serious issue.

"I think these kids are starting young and it's getting embedded into the culture," Sanders says.

"It's an epidemic. Hopefully, the kids can learn from these horrible mistakes and make better choices, but it seems like the outcome's the same."

Of course, Sanders has been outspoken about his own battle with depression and anxiety ... and has become an advocate for mental health treatment in the hopes people can explore safer options than self-medicating.

"The conversation is what's gonna be important ... inspiring the youth to be brave enough to talk about how they feel."

Sanders says there's been improvement recently in the music industry and sports ... but says there's more to be done moving forward.

Justin Hartley Chrishell Thinks Money Grab Triggered Divorce

Published | Updated

Justin Hartley's estranged wife thinks the almighty dollar destroyed her marriage.

Sources connected with Chrishell Stause tell TMZ, the "Selling Sunset" star is privately calling BS on the date of separation Justin listed in his divorce filing. TMZ broke the story ... Justin claims in his docs he and Chrishell separated July 8, 2019. By contrast, she says they were together right up until the day he filed ... November 22, 2019.

We know the 2 were seen out in public together multiple times between July and November, so the early separation date is puzzling. We're told Chrishell doesn't think it's all that puzzling ... that the tea leaves point to some sort of deal Justin may have and she believes he just doesn't want her to get a piece.

As we reported, both Justin and Chrishell acknowledge they were having problems, but she says they never called it quits until she learned from TMZ he filed to end the marriage.

And, as we reported, Chrishell's lawyer, Samantha Spector, is asking Justin to pay her client spousal support ... something he made clear he does not want to pay.

We're told Justin is making big bucks in the wake of his success on "This Is Us." Unclear how the spoils will be divided.

French Montana Back in the Game ... After Prolonged Hospitalization

Published | Updated

French Montana is back on the social circuit ... hitting up a hot WeHo restaurant Monday night ... resurfacing in public after a prolonged, scary hospital stay.

French grabbed dinner with his pal, Megan Thee Stallion, at Catch restaurant. They arrived and left separately.

TMZ broke the story ... French was rushed to the hospital last month with an undisclosed illness ... with symptoms that included severe stomach pain and an elevated heart rate. He believes the problems surfaced as a result of seriously overworking.

He was laid up in ICU for 7 days before being moved to a private room. In all, he was hospitalized for nearly 2 weeks.

Doctors have ordered French to bed rest for 30 days. He's allowed to grab some grub, but no working, traveling, exercising, performing or partying ... though, since his new album, "Montana," just dropped.

What's unclear ... if doctors eventually got to the bottom of what caused the elevated heart rate, stomach pain and other problems French experienced that landed him in ICU.

MLB Weed Ban Lifted ... For Minor Leaguers

Published

Weed is now LEGAL in the MLB ... the league is lifting its ban on marijuana for minor leaguers, removing the drug from its prohibited substance list.

As part of the MLB's efforts to crack down on opioid use in and around its league ... it has agreed to stop testing minor leaguers for weed, The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal reports.

Of course, the MLB already didn't test its big leaguers for marijuana ... but the rule change for everyone else is a big deal for the sport.

Previously, minor league players faced a 25-game suspension for a first positive weed test, a 50-game suspension for a second test, a 100-game suspension for a third and a ban for LIFE for a fourth.

Ex-Milwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Jeremy Jeffress is among the list of several current MLB players who have previously been popped for using weed in the minors.

As for the why now ... MLB officials are clearly trying to deter players from turning to opioids to fix their issues -- this after Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs tragically died from an accidental overdose on fentanyl, oxycodone and oxymorphone this past year.

MLB still lists dozens of recreational drugs on its banned substance list ... including cocaine, LSD and MDMA.

Question now ... will the NFL follow suit?

It would be historic ... but Charles Barkley says Becky Hammon should NOT consider the NY Knicks head coaching job because it would set her up for failure!

Of course, the Knicks are in the market for a new head coach after firing David Fizdale last week -- and a lot of people are calling for James Dolan to make Becky the first female head coach in NBA history.

42-year-old Hammon has created a lot of buzz in the NBA coaching world -- she was a 6-time WNBA All-Star before becoming an assistant with Gregg Popovich's Spurs in 2014. Pop has praised her as a coaching star and it seems like it's only a matter of time before she takes a head coaching job.

There are rumblings Hammon is interested in the Knicks job ... but Barkley is warning her to stay FAR AWAY from the dumpster fire that's the Knicks.

"Somebody's gonna give her a chance," Barkley tells TMZ Sports ... "I don't think she should take THAT job. Don't take a bad job!"

As we previously reported, people are pretty upset with the Knicks for axing Fizdale -- with Michael Rapaport calling for a celebrity boycott of the organization.

Long story short ... Rap says Knicks owner James Dolan has ran the organization into the ground and he feels like a celebrity boycott is the only way to show Dolan the fans won't stand for it anymore.

Barkley says he ain't with the boycott but understands Rap's frustrations.

There's more ... we also talked to Sir Charles about Carmelo Anthony's comeback and Lizzo's jaw-dropping thong incident at the Lakers game.

Miss Malaysia at Miss Universe 2019 Led to Believe She Won Best Costume ... Claims Her Nat'l Team

Published | Updated

Steve Harvey and the Miss Universe crew might be trying to dodge blame for the Best Costume blunder, but Miss Malaysia's team is here to put it right back in their corner.

Elaine Daly -- the National Director of the Miss Malaysia org -- tells TMZ that their pageant title holder, Shweta Sekhon, and the rest of her team at MU Sunday night legitimately thought she'd won Best National Costume ... because we're told that's what they were led to believe by show runners, who allegedly never informed them of anything different..

Daly says Shweta was asked to go backstage and change into her National Costume to be showcased as "Best National Costume," which Steve was about to announce.

That's exactly what she did, and we're told Shweta even conducted interviews on the matter -- all under the assumption she was the actual winner. So when SH said Miss Phillipines had actually won, Daly says it's completely understandable why Shweta corrected him.

Fast-forward to Monday ... when we were told by a Miss Universe source that Steve hadn't actually screwed up -- Miss Philippines was the winner, and Shweta simply jumped the gun by assuming just because she was standing out there, she was the victor.

Well, Miss Malaysia's camp is calling BS on that. Daly says she tried clarifying the mix-up and got told by someone at Miss Universe that Shweta was just the production staff's choice for Best Costume -- Miss Phillippines won actual online voting -- but the Miss Universe people simply wanted to showcase her at the moment, 'cause they liked her outfit.

Frankly, that makes no sense. Obviously, one would naturally put two and two together and assume the girl on stage was the one Steve was talking about ... which is what Daly explained to us as well, as that's how it came off to them (and the rest of the world).

Adding insult to injury ... we're told the Miss Malaysia team is pretty devastated by the faux pas, as they say they've never won a thing at Miss Universe. Get it together, y'all.

New England Patriots Admit Violating NFL Policy But Deny Spying On Bengals

Published | Updated
UPDATE

7:28 PM PT -- The Patriots have issued a statement admitting their crew violated NFL policy by "filming the field and sideline from the press box" ... but insist it was an honest mistake.

UPDATE

The team claims the footage was ONLY supposed to be used for the "Do Your Job" behind the scenes production  -- claiming, "There was no intention of using the footage for any other purpose."

UPDATE

The Patriots also admit they did not inform the league about plans to shoot the episode -- calling it an "unintended oversight."

UPDATE

"When questioned, the crew immediately turned over all footage to the league and cooperated fully," the team says.

UPDATE

Even though the Patriots insist the production crew is "independent of our football operation" the team says it accepts "full responsibility for the actions of our production crew at the Browns vs. Bengals game."

UPDATE

And, now we wait to see if/how the NFL punishes the Pats for this ...

UPDATE

3:31 PM PT -- Bill Belichick is speaking out about the allegations ... saying his staff has ZERO involvement with the videographer being at the game.

UPDATE

"I heard about this and evidently this is our production people on the TV show that were there and I have absolutely nothing to do, we have absolutely nothing to do with anything that they produce or direct or shoot," BB said on WEEI.

UPDATE

"I have never even seen any of their tapes or anything else. This is something that we 100 percent have zero involvement with."

UPDATE

"This is something you'd have to talk to the production people about and what they were doing, or whatever it was. We have never seen anything that they've shot, other than what has come down on TV."

The NFL has launched an investigation into the New England Patriots over allegations a team staffer illegally recorded the Cincinnati Bengals sidelines during Sunday's game.

Of course, the Patriots were at home playing the Chiefs on Sunday -- but the team claims they sent a video crew to FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland to shoot a behind-the-scenes segment on a team scout during the Browns vs. the Bengals game.

FYI, the Patriots are playing the Bengals next week ... which is why the scout was there in the first place.

But, a Bengals team official believes there may have something fishy going on -- and reported a possible incident to the NFL, which is now investigating.

ESPN's Adam Schefter says the Patriots were credentialed by the Browns (the home team) to shoot that day for a segment called "Do Your Job" which spotlights key Patriots staffers behind the scenes.

Schefter says a team official for the Bengals saw the videographer -- who was wearing a Pats shirt -- and reported it to the league.

The NFL confiscated the video, according to Schefter and they're currently reviewing the footage to see if there was an attempt to spy.

Earlier today, a reporter asked Bengals head coach Zac Taylor about the incident -- and while he didn't say much, Taylor confirmed a league probe into the matter.

Zac Taylor
Bengals' Zac Taylor confirms probe

"I'm aware that there was an incident but the league is investigating it, so I've got no comment," Taylor explained.

The Patriots, for their part, tell Schefter there was nothing scandalous about the incident -- suggesting it was just a misunderstanding.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says the Patriots got pre-game permission from the Browns to shoot but they didn't inform the NFL until after the segment was in the can. That could be why the Bengals weren't in the loop and may have suspected other intentions.

Of course, the Patriots have gotten in HUGE trouble in the past for videotaping another NFL team -- remember SpyGate?

That took place in 2007 when the Patriots illegally recorded NY Jets defensive coaches during a Sept. 2007 game.

Bill Belichick was fined $500k, the Pats were fined $250k and the team was docked a 1st round pick in the 2008 NFL Draft.
