Christina Applegate I Have Multiple Sclerosis

Published

Christina Applegate is sharing devastating news ... she has multiple sclerosis.

The actress revealed the news Monday night saying, "A few months ago I was diagnosed with MS. It's been a strange journey. But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition."

The "Married... with Children" star added, "It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some asshole blocks it." In a separate tweet, Christina said she has a friend who has MS ... for which there is no cure. The autoimmune disease starts with the body's immune system attacking its own tissues.

Selma Blair, who also has MS, told us back in 2019 how she's adapted to life since the diagnosis. She continued acting and was a huge inspiration to others. Some of her treatments included chemo and a stem cell transplant.

It's not the first time Christina's battling a medical scare. The "Bad Moms" star, at just 36 years old, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 and she made the decision to have a double mastectomy. Christina's mom, Nancy Priddy, is also a breast cancer survivor.

O.J. Simpson He Believes His Lies and it's Pitiful ... Says Nicole's Sister

Published

No, O.J. Simpson does not need to fear running into the person who murdered his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and Ron Goldman in 1994, because DNA evidence doesn't lie ... so says Nicole's sister.

Tanya Brown tells TMZ ... O.J.'s recent comments about not wanting to go to L.A. because he "might be sitting next to whoever did it" are absurd and disrespectful, but they prove how delusional he really is.

According to Tanya ... all one has to do is look back at the DNA evidence from the murders, which shows the only blood at the crime scene belonged to Nicole, Ron and O.J.

Tanya says, obviously, she does not believe there's another killer out there, but suggests O.J.'s been feeding himself his own lies for so many years ... he likely believes them now.

She says of O.J.'s recent interview with The Athletic -- in which he added, "I really don't know who did this," but claimed to have a suspect in mind -- he's probably doing it to redeem himself, but it's unfortunate and sad he can't admit his wrongdoing.

Tanya adds at this point in her life, she has forgiven O.J. for what he did and actually pities him. However, she says when he continues to talk about it, it's simply disrespectful to their family and Ron's ... and she wishes he'd let it go too.

Mattel Owners One-Time Barbie Penthouse For Sale ... Lists at Nearly $10 Mil

Published | Updated

The L.A. penthouse once owned by the founders of Mattel -- and the makers of Barbie -- is hitting the market for someone else to live and play inside ... and it's going for a bundle.

The 3-bed, 3-bath condo in the luxurious Century Towers is about to list for just under $10 million after having been enjoyed by interior designer Nicole Sassaman for some years now -- this after she bought the place in 2012 for $2 mil ... according to The Post.

At the time, Sassaman took it off the hands of Barbara and Kenneth Handler -- the children of Mattel OGs Ruth and Elliot, who used to call the place home -- and made it her own sophisticated pad over the years, with echoes of doll vibes throughout ... albeit, nothing close to what you might consider classic "Barbie."

In other words, the place isn't covered in pink and a ton of tacky, plastic decor. But there is some cool Barbie art lying around ... making it way more chic than anything Barbie herself ever stepped foot in for children across America. Bottom line ... the home is a beaut.

It might just be an apartment at its core, but the penthouse is truly a taste of modern-day life -- there are mirrored surfaces in just about every room for great light and sense of space ... and don't even get us started with the views one gets from the balcony area overlooking L.A.

Seeing how it's in a super swanky building to begin with, it's got all the nice amenities one might expect ... a dog park, pool, tennis courts, valet parking, concierge, etc. The works, basically. The listing is held by Scott Segall, Carrie Berkman Lewis from Douglas Elliman.

While the asking price might be high enough to make Barbie herself blush, that's real estate in L.A. right now -- buy low and sell high, folks. Good luck, Nic!

Tyson Fury Newborn Baby Back In ICU 'Keep Her In Your Prayers'

Published | Updated

Tyson Fury says his newborn daughter is sadly back in intensive care Tuesday ... and the boxing champ is now asking once again for prayers for his baby girl.

Little Athena Fury was born on Sunday and needed to be placed in the ICU on a ventilator a short time later.

Tyson and his wife, Paris, had said she was doing well, though ... and on Monday afternoon, they added the baby was off the ventilator and making "fantastic" progress.

But, Tyson shared Tuesday that things have taken another scary turn ... writing on his social media page, "Baby Athena is back [in] ICU please keep her in your prayers."

No further details have been given on the newborn's condition.

The baby is Tyson and Paris' sixth child, and their third daughter. The couple -- who got married in 2008 -- announced they were pregnant with her back in February.

While Athena fights to recover, Tyson has begun raising money for the Alder Hey Children's Charity ... a UK org. that helps facilities treat children.

So far, Tyson's GoFundMe has raised more than $38,000.

Erica Mena YES, I TRASHED Safaree's STUFF After He Cheated On Me!!!

Published

Erica Mena is copping to ruining some of Safaree's property, but says she only went HAM after finding out he was sleeping around ... allegedly.

According to new legal docs obtained by TMZ ... the 'Love & Hip Hop' star admits she damaged her now estranged husband's personal items toward the end of her pregnancy, but she blames her anger on "numerous acts of infidelity."

You'll recall, Safaree alleged she trashed some of his gear, including his expensive shoe collection.

Erica's already trying to clean up the mess she caused -- in the docs, she says she's already sent Safaree a cool $4,000 to cover at least some of the damage.

Something tells us he won't be satisfied with that dollar figure though. As we first reported ... Safaree claims Erica did $30,000 worth of damage by pouring bleach on his high-end sneakers, and cutting the laces. He said she went off while she was 8 months pregnant, and 2 days after she'd filed for divorce.

While Erica's now admitting to wreaking some havoc, they're clearly oceans apart on just how much damage was done ...  and therein lies the legal battle.

We've reached out to Safaree for comment on Erica's allegation ... no word back yet.

Pony Singer Ginuwine 'Memba Him?!

After the success of his first album, Ginuwine continued to release platinum albums like 100% Ginuwine and The Life over the next 5 years but hasn't released a studio album for nearly a decade since his 2011 holiday release of A Ginuwine Christmas.

Ginuwine continues to keep the crowd grooving with his live performances and took the stage last week in Albany, with lots of shows planned for the next year.

Guess what he looks like now at 50 years old!

Paul Walker Daughter Meadow Engaged ... To New-ish Actor BF

Published | Updated

Paul Walker's only child, Meadow, is now engaged nearly 8 years after his death.

The 22-year-old model made the announcement not-so-subtly on IG Monday with a quick, fun video of her in a pool somewhere in the desert. She flashes the giant rock on that finger ... and flirtatiously floats away from the cameraman, presumably her fiancé.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

That would be one Louis Thornton-Allan -- apparently an actor himself -- whom she just went Instagram official with last month. It's unclear how long they've been romantically involved before that ... but in any case, it looks like they're ready to walk down the aisle together.

Besides the obvious celebratory sentiment, the other feeling here is ... man, does time fly. It seems just like yesterday when she was 14, right around the time her dad tragically died in a car accident in 2013.

Of course, they were close ... and Paul's death was hard on Meadow. But, she's carried on well -- and has even shown up to a few of 'Fast & Furious' premieres since his passing. She continues to hype up PW's legacy to this day ... always promoting 'Fast' content, too.

BTW, Louis seems to have popped the question here on a special day in and of itself -- seems today's the birthday of a family member of his ... possibly his pops, 'cause he gave him a shoutout online -- in addition to posting more about his and Meadow's baecation.

Anyway, congrats!!!

'When They See Us' Netflix Can't Dodge Defamation Suit By Ex-Prosecutor Fairstein

Published

Netflix and Ava DuVernay will continue to battle Linda Fairstein's defamation lawsuit over her portrayal in "When They See Us" ... a judge just denied their bid to toss the suit out of court.

According to new legal docs obtained by TMZ ... a federal judge in Manhattan ruled Monday Linda's defamation suit plausibly alleged defamation in 5 scenes of the critically acclaimed series about the Central Park 5 case.

Remember ... Linda was the woman who helped prosecute the now-vindicated Central Park 5, and Felicity Huffman plays her in the Netflix series.

The judge ruled several scenes depicting Linda as racist while directing a police roundup of potential suspects in Harlem, withholding DNA evidence from the defense and coercing confessions could prove to be defamatory and can't be tossed out at this stage of litigation.

As we reported ... Linda sued Netflix and the series director for defamation back in March 2020, claiming the show portrayed her as a "racist, unethical villain who is determined to jail innocent children of color at any cost."

Netflix initially called the suit frivolous and without merit and tried to get it tossed by arguing the series is protected by the First Amendment. Although some of Fairstein's claims were tossed, the judge ruled the case could go forward on her claims concerning some critical scenes in the series.

Stay tuned ...

Published | Updated

Prince Andrew sexually abused a teenage girl he met through Jeffrey Epstein ... this according to a new lawsuit.

Queen Elizabeth's son is being sued for sexual assault in federal court by Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who claims she was a victim of Epstein's sex trafficking scheme for powerful men, including Prince Andrew.

According to the suit, obtained by TMZ, Andrew is accused of sexually abusing Giuffre in NYC when she was a minor ... at the invitation of Epstein and his alleged co-conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell.

Published | Updated
UPDATE

2:39 PM PT -- COVID or not, The Kid LAROI was out and about Sunday in L.A. He was masked up with his girlfriend, Katarina Deme, as the 2 visited a Bel-Air spa.

UPDATE
UPDATE

During a live stream, the singer said he and Kat were quarantining together because they both had COVID ... but then he appeared to get a live update that he was COVID-free. So ... it's hard to say what's going on for sure.

UPDATE

The Kid LAROI revealed he's been locked in a room for 7 days because he has COVID ... only to scrub that announcement from his social media a short time later.

The teenage singer revealed the news in a now-edited Instagram caption Monday in which he was celebrating his #1 hit with Justin Bieber, "Stay," and thanking all of his fans for their support.

LAROI, who hails from Australia, wrote that all he ever wanted was to "make it big" in America and show everyone what folks Down Under have to offer.

He then said he hasn't been home in awhile because of COVID, adding ... "which I currently have rn and have been locked in a room for the past 7 days."

The singer quickly deleted that line in his IG caption, but if it's true -- it means he could have performed at the huge July 29 concert at Lollapalooza in Chicago with Miley Cyrus while infected -- or contracted it while at the festival.

We've reached out to LAROI's rep for some clarification ... so far, no word back.

Simon Cowell on Bennifer 2.0 Wanna Make it Last, This Time??? Do These TWO Things!!!

"LOVE ALWAYS WINS"

There are a couple simple things Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez need to do to make their relationship last this time around -- and Simon Cowell has the one-two recipe.

The 'Idol' vet and music producer was out for a bike ride in L.A. with his girlfriend, Lauren, and their son when a photog asked if he had any advice for Bennifer 2.0 as they head down the couple's path once again some 20 years later.

Now, first off ... you'd think Simon's familiar with Jen after her stint as an "American Idol" judge -- even though he'd left the show by then -- but he had no clue about her reunion with Ben.

Lauren sure did, and insisted she'd downloaded him on all the hot gossip. Before Simon could offer his wisdom, she actually chipped in with her 2 cents ... and then he added a nickel's worth.

You gotta hear Simon's POV on how to make romance work. In classic Cowell fashion, the dude kept it as real as ever with his response. He didn't elaborate much on the why, but it sounds like he's speaking from personal experience.

Here's a hint ... 2 toilets and a sundae will get the job done, apparently.

Britney Spears Request to Boot Jamie Immediately Denied

Published | Updated

Britney Spears didn't want to wait until September to ask a judge to boot her dad from her conservatorship, but the judge just shut down her request.

The singer's request to move up the hearing to sometime this month or to at least suspend Jamie immediately until the final hearing, was denied ... according to a new court order, obtained by TMZ. There's no specific reason given for the legal "no" ... but it was denied without prejudice, meaning she can bring it up again.

But, at the moment, Jamie's going to stay on.

As for why ... typically the issue is whether waiting for the scheduled hearing would cause irreparable harm to Britney. Her lawyer, Mat Rosengart, said Jamie's presence was taking a toll on Britney's mental health, and he says doctors felt that way as well. But, the judge apparently didn't think there was enough proof that waiting would cause such damage.

The judge left the door open ... so if there's solid proof waiting would be disastrous for Britney, Rosengart could re-file his motion.

Bam Margera Sues Johnny Knoxville, 'Jackass' Team Over Firing ... Alleges 'Inhumane Treatment'

Published | Updated

Bam Margera's going after his old friends over his ousting from the 'Jackass' franchise he's been a part of for decades ... claiming he was forced to sign an agreement that he claims amounted to psychological torture.

According to the legal docs ... Bam's suing Johnny Knoxville, Spike Jonze, Jeffrey Tremaine along with Paramount Pictures, MTV, Dickhouse Entertainment and Gorilla Flicks for his firing.

He claims the 3 men pressured him into signing a "wellness agreement" while he was in rehab in 2019 in order to participate in the upcoming 'Jackass Forever' movie ... but Bam claims he didn't have a chance to run it by an attorney.

According to Bam ... the agreement subjected him to regular drug and alcohol tests and he was forced to take a cocktail of prescription drugs that left him depressed and drained, and restricted his ability to travel, work and live his life.

Ultimately, Bam was booted from the fourth installment of 'Jackass' for failing to abide by the conditions in the agreement, but according to the docs ... Bam got the axe for testing positive for Adderall -- something he says he's been prescribed to take for 10 years.

The lawsuit alleges Bam's treatment at the hands of Paramount and the 'Jackass' team was "inhumane" and "discriminatory." He also likens it to Britney Spears' conservatorship case.

HELP FROM THE GREEN QUEEN

As we've covered ... the past few months have been very rocky for Bam, as he's publicly attacked the 'Jackass' crew and had a restraining order filed against him by Tremaine.

He also previously told us he was "tortured" by his former co-stars before he was fired. Bam's suing for damages and asking for an injunction to block release of the upcoming movie.

We've reached out to Paramount ... no word back so far.

Jason Isbell I'm Requiring COVID Vax for Concerts ... I Don't Want Fans to Die!!!

Published

Jason Isbell has a simple reason for requiring proof of COVID inoculation or a negative test result to attend his shows ... he wants people to feel safe and survive the virus.

The country star joined us on "TMZ Live" Monday and told us about the new precautions in effect on his tour, and why he's not afraid to do something that might piss off a large portion of his fan base.

Jason says he just wants concertgoers to feel a little safer in a large crowd of strangers and he doesn't want any blood on his hands ... hence the vaccine or negative test requirements.

Naturally, Jason is getting tons of pushback from country music fans who live in areas with low vaccination rates -- but he's also getting heat from other artists after a year that saw them lose concert revenue.

Jason and singer-songwriter Marc Broussard got in a Twitter war over his COVID protocols ... but Jason says he's just trying to help prevent another shutdown so artists don't have to cancel shows in droves as they did in 2020.

Bottom line ... Jason doesn't want to put more restrictions on fans, but he wants anyone who comes to his concert to feel safe, and the vax is the best way to make it happen.
