Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are making up for some future lost time ahead of New Year's Eve -- when they'll be apart -- and did so by hitting the slopes with their kids.

The couple hit up Woodward Park City ski resort out in Utah Friday and Saturday with Gwen's 3 boys -- and the whole family was out and about, tubing one day ... and skiing the next. In photos obtained by TMZ, you can see GS and BS in lock step with the teens close behind.

Eyewitnesses tell us the family wasn't shying away from the attention they drew, nor were they opposed to taking pictures with fans ... by all accounts they were pretty cheerful.

Interestingly, it sounds like Gwen was the one going down the hills here -- on Friday, she could be seen tubing with her boys, while Blake looked on and filmed. On Saturday, she and the kiddos went skiing ... and we're told Blake did not attend. Seems she's the active one!

Anyway, like we said ... these love birds won't be by each other's side come midnight next week -- 'cause Blake's booked to perform in Nashville, and she got hired for a Vegas gig.

We recently learned Kevin McCallister was, in fact, loaded in 'Home Alone' -- and now, the Internet has its sights set on Clark Griswold ... and that mysterious bonus check.

A Reddit thread that was recently started dives deep into the question of what sorta dough Chevy Chase's character in 'Christmas Vacation' was expecting, what he ended up getting, and what the hell he even did for work ... which is all left unanswered in the film.

It's not nearly as sophisticated or scientific as the NYT piece that broke down the 'Home Alone' finances, but it's interesting ... 'cause a lot of folks seem to have good guesses.

Based on clues dropped in the movie, one user -- who kinda takes the lead on all the sleuthing here -- suggests Clark was some sort of chemical engineer at a cereal company ... and that his salary at the time likely landed in the ballpark of about $75k-$80k in 1989.

If that's true, these online accountants figure Sparky might've been anticipating a fairly high bonus of about 20%-25% ... do the math, and that's likely a bonus of about $20k or so.

He also mentioned putting down a $7,500 deposit for it already, and hoping the check would cover the rest -- and based on some historical data ... people say the number checks out for pool construction in the late '80s. Clark was hoping for (but didn't get) a five-figure bonus.

Of course, that's not exactly how things worked out -- at first, anyway -- in the holiday classic. Clark gets stiffed by his boss, and his cousin Eddie kidnaps the guy to force him to pony up. In the end, the CEO of the company does give out the bonus -- plus an extra 20%.

In the end, the Internet suspects Clark walked away with about $24k in the end ... more than enough to install the pool and pay for it in full. Not bad for the bungling Griswolds!

Ryan Clark is weighing into all the discourse that's gone on since Jonathan Owens said he was a catch for Simone Biles -- not the other way around -- by saying ... ease up, folks.

The ex-Steelers safety recorded a video addressing the backlash Owens is facing in the wake of an interview he did on RC's pod last week ... in which he described how he first met Simone, how they got together, and who he thought was the lucky one in the relationship.

It came off a little ineloquent at the time, but essentially ... he said he thought he was a catch for Simone -- and that he didn't necessarily "pull" her, but rather ... she pulled him.

JO also confessed he didn't know who Simone was when they matched on an app -- apparently, he wasn't tuned in to her Olympic run -- and says she made the first move.

BTW, as Owens was saying this to Clark and his podcast cohosts -- SB herself was in the room, and she didn't even flinch. The Internet, on the other hand, was up in arms over his comments ... as they felt he was being disrespectful for suggesting he was the prize here.

Simone and Jonathan have each addressed the heat he's catching ... and they both seem to be over it, and not nearly as mad as Twitter was when they first caught wind of this.

Now, Ryan himself is speaking up ... and he's got words for the collectively outraged.

Kim Kardashian seems to have brought the winter wilderness to her own backyard -- 'cause her house looks like something straight out of a Christmas card ... of the Hallmark variety.

The reality star went all out decorating her Hidden Hills property -- which is kind of a theme this year with all the big holidays. Christmas turned out to be no different ... and while the inside of her home is cool, the outside is certainly a thing of beauty to behold.

Take a look ... KK's got a bunch of giant firs lining her entire yard here, to the point that it looks like a forest, of sorts, right there on the grounds. Real or fake ... who the hell knows?

Point is, it's damn impressive ... and the extra "snow" she's got coating the ground is a nice touch too. She gave a little tour of the walkway through this gorgeous scene, and it's neat.

BTW, the interior of her crib is decked out as well -- and as you can imagine there's presents all over the place, but especially under her tree(s). In fact, it looks like she might be hosting this year, 'cause there's gifts from all her sisters and whatnot, all uniquely wrapped.

As you can see ... everyone from Kendall to Khloe has different wrapping paper and their own style of furnishing the presents. Kim's of course, is pretty interesting -- SKIMS-covered.

Like we said, the rest of the house is covered in lights and ornaments as well ... but considering Kim's one-of-a-kind interior design -- it almost feels sorta museum-like.

Anyway, just another reason for her to go all out, we suppose -- and she certainly did.

A heavy metal singer met the not-so-jolly version of Santa up in NorCal -- where an insult hurled at the guy's city didn't land so well for him ... although, he did land punches.

A deathcore band called Smack'd Up was recently performing up in Sacramento in what appears to be some kind of low-key show in a warehouse ... and not packed at all. Frontman Matt Kupers was on the mic and apparently got frustrated with the energy in the room.

He stops his gig to chastise the crowd, saying he thought he was in Sac Town and that the audience would bring it. He hurls some expletives and essentially jabs at the residents.

Welp, some dude out in the crowd -- who was dressed as Kris Kringle -- didn't like what he was hearing, and he rushed Kupers onstage ... hopping up and starting to whoop on him.

The fight only lasts seconds, but it ended with Kupers falling over and landing on his ass.

Film buffs have debated whether 'Die Hard' is a Christmas movie or not for years -- but now, a guy who's very familiar with the art is settling it once and for all ... and he says, yea.

CNN's Jake Tapper featured film historian and author Jeremy Arnold on his show the other day, and they were there to discuss his new book -- 'Christmas in the Movies' -- and eventually JT landed on the age-old question ... is 'DH' actually a holiday classic???

According to Arnold, it absolutely is ... but he also explains that the reason some feel it isn't has to do with how they define Xmas movies, traditionally speaking.

Despite that, though, Arnold argues 'Die Hard' has all the tenets of a Christmas movie from the jump -- starting with the fact that Bruce Willis' John McClain is attempting to reconcile with his estranged wife ... that ends up being the backdrop of everything else that follows.

Tapper agrees, and he points to more evidence that 'DH' undoubtedly rings of Xmas throughout -- even though it's obviously an action flick. He actually points to the climax to make his point. Spoiler alert ... he uses presents to kill the bad guy terrorist, Hans.

All this is to say ... 'Die Hard' has all the trappings of Christmas, albeit embedded in a lot of violence and cool lines through a walkie-talkie. Of course, some still feel differently.

Kevin Spacey is back for his annual Christmas-time Frank Underwood shtick, only this time he has big news ... teasing a presidential run, and breaking it to Tucker Carlson.

The actor showed up in TC's latest X interview, which just dropped Sunday -- and yes, he's completely in character as his former "House of Cards" anti-hero for the 7-minute video. While he never outright says he's running for POTUS, he certainly suggests he just might.

Watch ... Spacey (as Underwood) says he's not above stepping into the race at this late hour, explaining that he believes the country needs someone like him during this dark time.

Tucker asks him directly if he's running, but KS stops short of outright committing to it.

Per usual, it's very bizarre ... but it is consistent, which we suppose he gets some kudos for. Spacey's been doing this whole Frank Underwood thing for a few years now -- ever since he was effectively canceled during the #MeToo movement -- and each year, it's weird as hell.

Remember, Spacey's role was nixed from the final season of 'HOC' amid his scandal ... and he's been trying to mount a comeback ever since, with not very much mainstream success.

There's a race in Spain where thousands of people gather each year to run a few miles dressed like Old Saint Nick -- and 2023 was no different ... but it was wild to see.

The 11th annual Carrera de Papá Noel in Madrid went down Sunday, with upwards of 7,500 attendees getting set at the starting line near the Plaza de Colon ... and were off to the races when the gun went off. And yes, just about everyone's dressed like a freaking Santa Claus.

While there were mostly red and white suits out there, you can find some variety if you look hard enough ... including some elf costumes and even some other random ones (dinosaur.)

Some walked, others jogged ... and a handful sprinted. The whole thing's for charity anyway -- it benefits the Spanish Red Cross -- so there's no real competition at the end of the day.

Now, that's not to say there aren't prizes for those who finish first -- because there are. The first three males and females get a little something ... and so do the first 3 kids under age 12. They go for about 3 miles, and the route takes 'em along Paseo de la Castellana.

The money raised this year, specifically, is going toward training up young people in the Red Cross program ... and to develop jobs for them as well. Never too early to start giving back!

Melissa Barrera is doubling down in her support of Palestine while speaking on the holidays -- and the timing is interesting ... considering the 'Scream' franchise is in shambles.

The actress posted a message to her Instagram Sunday, just ahead of Christmas, and it again put a spotlight on the war going on in the Middle East ... which has claimed countless lives at this point, especially as Israel continues to try and hunt down Hamas.

She threw up a cartoon of Santa on his sleigh passing by a cart carrying dead/wrapped-up bodies -- as political commentary, no doubt -- and she added a very in-your-face caption.

It reads, in part ... "I HOPE THIS CHRISTMAS FEELS... WEIRD. I HOPE YOU CAN'T IGNORE THE FACT THAT YOU'RE CELEBRATING THE BIRTH OF A CHILD WHO WAS PERSECUTED AND TARGETED AND HIS PARENTS FORCED TO FLEE OT EGYPT."

Melissa goes on to say the exact same thing is happening to millions of Palestinians in that same part of the world all these years later ... all while "they are indiscriminately and relentlessly bombed." She ends her message with a simple and blunt "MERRY XMAS."

Of course, her position hasn't changed ... but the fact she's speaking right now is curious, especially since the director who was attached to the new 'Scream' movie she was fired from over her pro-Palestine views *just* announced that he's leaving the project as well.

Christopher Landon broke the news Saturday, saying he exited 'Scream 7' weeks ago without explaining why. What he did say, though, was telling ... writing, "It was a dream job that turned into a nightmare. And my heart did break for everyone involved. Everyone." He added, "I hope Wes’ legacy thrives and lifts above the din of a divided world."

Sounds like he might've bounced over this whole Israel-Palestine issue too -- and many suspect Jenna Ortega did as well ... even though other unrelated reasons were cited.

Tori Spelling might've found new love for Christmas -- 'cause she was hanging out with a mystery stud during last-minute shopping ... and he seems to be cool with her kid too.

The '90210' star was out at a mall just outside of L.A. Friday, and she was rolling with her teenage daughter, Stella, whom she shares with estranged husband Dean McDermott. The two of them had company here ... some middle-aged dude who was part of the pack.

He was seen chatting up Tori and Stella inside the building, especially TS ... staring deep into her eyes. Eventually, he left with them too -- and drove away with Tori riding passenger.

No word on who this guy is, or what his relationship to Tori might be -- there's no sign of PDA here or anything, so it could just be a pal or maybe even a relative. Still, considering everything going on with her these days ... it's interesting to see a new face in the mix.

Remember, Tori just recently talked about experiencing her first "single mom Christmas" ... this in the wake of her splitting with Dean earlier this year. Now, she's not so alone, it seems.

The fact Stella was with them for this outing also speaks to a familiarity that might explain something -- namely, this guy might not be a romantic partner ... 'cause you'd figure Mama Bear wouldn't bring around a fresh fella like this without some groundwork being laid first.

Megan Thee Stallion is closing out the year shaking what her mama gave her -- but she's on theme with it ... which is a nice touch. 🤌

The rapper went on IG Live Saturday and was dressed in a lovely little onesie that showed off all her best angles and curves -- and while she split her time between talking to her audience and doing some beauty work ... she also found time to do some twerking.

We've seen it all before, of course -- and it's great every time -- but here ... her little dance number is very Christmas-y, and we gotta say ... it's kinda making us feel naughty watching!

Anyhoo, there was more that was addressed during the live stream ... including what sure sounds like a shot at Spotify users. MTS says the streaming service is ... well, for kids. Ya gotta wonder if there's a subliminal barb in that somewhere ... something tells us there is.

At any rate, good to see Meg bringing us holiday cheer and an eyeful of body-ody-ody. 👀

Tom Sandoval clearly is no longer radioactive, because the ladies are flocking to him ... again.

Tom was at the Honky Tonk Bar in St. Charles, Missouri Friday night, showing up solo for some fun. And, fun is what he found.

The "Vanderpump Rules" villain was easily spotted by other patrons, including several women who tried to engage him.  A few took selfies with him, but one in particular cozied up.

The 2 hung out in the bar for a while... at times she had her arm on Tom's shoulder.

They eventually both left the bar together. She told her friends something as they congregated outside the bar and then walked over to Tom. The 2 walked off together on the sidewalk.

Tom's back to being Tom, with the Scandavol seemingly as old as stale bread. He was out this past week belting out songs during karaoke night at the Foxfire Room in L.A. BTW, his song choice was clearly intentional -- "Loverboy" by Billy Ocean!

It seemed earlier this year Scandoval would be like a Scarlett letter on Tom, but as is usually the case ... all the anger went away. There were so many others this year who diverted fans away from Tom.

The downside for Tom ... with the Scandoval ancient history, it takes heat away from the show that lined his pockets with lots of loot.

The biggest benefactor of the cheating scandal ... Tom's ex, Ariana Madix who has cashed in big time and raised her profile.

Donald Trump's guest starring role in "Home Alone: Lost in New York" was not a nod to his talent ... turns out he was demanding the role in return for allowing filming at his hotel.

Director Chris Columbus told Business Insider how Trump drew a line in the sand -- you wanna shoot at The Plaza, then put me in your movie.

Columbus said, “Like most locations in New York City, you just pay a fee and you are allowed to shoot in that location. We approached The Plaza Hotel, which Trump owned at the time, because we wanted to shoot in the lobby. We couldn’t rebuild The Plaza on a soundstage."

Chris said the future President was blunt ... “Trump said OK. We paid the fee, but he also said, ‘The only way you can use the Plaza is if I’m in the movie.'”

Now here's the thing. It seems Columbus thought Trump would be an annoyance to audiences, but it was the opposite ... "When we screened it for the first time the oddest thing happened: People cheered when Trump showed up on-screen. So I said to my editor, 'Leave him in the movie. It’s a moment for the audience.' But he did bully his way into the movie.”

Sophie Turner is back on mommy duty just in time for the holidays ... it's her turn to look after her two children as part of her child custody arrangement with Joe Jonas ... but a family reunion may be in the cards.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Sophie's got the kids through Jan. 7 ... which means she'll probably be celebrating Christmas and New Year's with Willa and Delphine over in London.

But, get this ... Joe is in England too -- he was recently spotted at London hot spot Chiltern Firehouse -- so it appears there's at least a decent chance Joe will get to see the kiddos on Xmas too.

Of course, the big question then becomes ... will Sophie and Joe spend time together with their daughters for the holidays, which are traditionally a family affair?

The girls have been with Sophie since Dec. 16 ... and they're allowed to travel with her in the United States and the United Kingdom ... but the kids have to be dropped back off to Joe in NYC on Jan. 7.

Remember ... Joe had the kids for Halloween and Thanksgiving, so the parents are splitting holiday duties under their temporary child custody agreement as they work through a divorce.

Meanwhile, Sophie was spotted making out with British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson earlier this month in London ... before she had the kids.

Shohei Ohtani is not only rich, he's strategically brilliant, because he figured out an instant way of ingratiating himself with his new teammates, and it involves a Porsche!

The Dodgers star gifted an awesome Porsche to the wife of teammate Joe Kelly. Why, you ask? Turns out she mounted a full-on campaign to get Ohtani to sign with her hubby's team.

Check out the video ... Ashley Kelly is stunned as she peers out her front door and Joe tells her the car parked on the curb next to their house ... well, the car is now hers!!!

Ashley was on a relentless campaign to snag Ohtani, telling her Insta followers she changed the name of her 7-month-old child from Kai to ShoKai. Not true, but funny -- and effective. She did a ton more, including offering up her husband's number as an incentive. An offer Ohtani took her up on!

In turn, Shohei showed his appreciation for the number swap with the brand-new whip.

Shohei can certainly afford it ... he signed a 10-year contract worth $700 million earlier this month, although he's deferring almost all of it for years. It's the biggest contract in the history of sports.
