Sam Hunt My DUI Demonstrates ... 'Poor, Selfish Decision'
Sam Hunt has gone public over his DUI Thursday, saying he made some really bad choices.
The country star just said, "Thursday night I decided to drive myself home after drinking at a friend's show in downtown Nashville. It was a poor and selfish decision and I apologize to everyone who was unknowingly put at risk and let down by it. It won't happen again."
Truth be told, it wasn't Thursday night ... it was Thursday at 6 AM. Hunt was in a bar Wednesday night partying with some folks, but the bars close at 2 AM. Cops saw Sam swerving and driving down the wrong side of the road at 6 AM, pulled him over and noticed he reeked of alcohol.
He was clearly wasted ... police asked for his driver's license, which was in his lap, but instead he gave them a credit card and his passport. He did poorly on the field sobriety test and blew a .173 ... way over the legal limit.
Sam was arrested, booked and released. He's already been charged with DUI.

Bizarre scene at a Florida jailhouse Wednesday night ... NFL RB Mark Walton skipped and sprinted past a line of reporters after he bonded out -- all while making weird noises.
The former Miami Dolphins player had been locked behind bars in Broward County after he was accused of punching his pregnant girlfriend in the face and head on Tuesday.
But, Walton posted $10,000 bond ... and when he was confronted by media members outside the jail, his strange actions were all caught on video.
The 22-year-old danced, skipped, made high-pitch noises ... and then sprinted toward a car to take him away from the scene.
As we previously reported, Walton is accused of pushing the woman -- who's 5-weeks pregnant with his baby --- against a wall and punching her "several times" in the face and head at around 4:15 AM ET on Tuesday.
In a police report from the incident, cops say Walton found out about the pregnancy just two days before the alleged attack.
In 911 audio obtained by TMZ Sports, you can hear the woman sobbing over the incident ... telling dispatch, "My boyfriend beat me up!"
Walton has been charged with aggravated battery against a pregnant person -- a 2nd-degree felony which carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison. He's been ordered by a judge to have NO contact with the woman while he's out of jail.
For their part, the Dolphins almost immediately cut Walton after learning of the arrest, saying, "We hold our players to a high standard and take these matters very seriously."
Walton -- who had rushed for 201 yards on 53 carries this season -- is currently serving a 4-game suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy stemming from 3 arrests that all went down earlier this year.

'RHOA' Star Eva Marcille Baby Daddy Says He's Suing Cops ... I Was Targeted and Injured!!!

The father of Eva Marcille's 5-year-old daughter says his black skin made him a target before he got into a courthouse scuffle with cops ... and he's going to sue their asses because he got hurt.
We broke the story ... the 'RHOA' star's baby daddy, Kevin McCall Jr., was arrested earlier this month at the Justice Center Tower in Fulton County, GA after he refused to stop recording video on his phone, and an effort to detain him allegedly led to a sergeant falling down an escalator.
McCall claims he got injured in the chaos too ... but he has a bigger issue with what led to the altercation in the first place -- he thinks he was singled out because he's black.
It's an interesting allegation because according to the Instagram Live video he shared before his alleged physical confrontation with cops ... the officer who told him to quit FaceTiming is black too.
Regardless, McCall believes the fact the cop specifically said "FaceTiming" supports his theory he was targeted ... it's unclear how. He also offers up some excuses why things went south for him at the courthouse ... and why he didn't help deescalate the situation -- no pun intended.
As we told you ... McCall was in court to fight for custody of his and Eva's daughter, Marley Rae, but instead ended up in jail and booked on 5 charges. He's facing 4 misdemeanors and one felony count of criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree.
Before his arrest, Marcille filed legal docs alleging McCall is dangerous and unstable ... and doesn't deserve any increased custody rights with their girl.

The pregnant woman who was allegedly punched in the head repeatedly by NFL running back Mark Walton called cops sobbing and told them, "My boyfriend beat me up!"
It's all in new 911 audio obtained by TMZ Sports, in which you can hear a clearly upset woman explaining to dispatch how the ex-Miami Dolphins player roughed her up Tuesday in Davie, Fla.
During the call, placed about 10 to 15 minutes after the incident, the sobbing woman says Walton had hit her and then left the scene in a car.
What's interesting about the call is dispatch recognized Walton's name right away ... asking the woman if she was talking about "the football player."
Eventually, cops arrived to the scene ... and, per a police report obtained by TMZ Sports, officers say the woman told them Walton pushed her against a wall and punched her several times in the face and head, even though he KNEW she was 5 weeks pregnant.
Cops say they noticed the woman had swelling on her left eye.
22-year-old Walton was ultimately arrested and booked for aggravated battery against a pregnant person -- a 2nd-degree felony which carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
Walton showed up in a Broward County courtroom in cuffs and a beige jumpsuit to face the charge Wednesday ... and was ordered to have no contact with the woman once he's out of jail.
Walton -- who was cut by the Dolphins almost immediately after his arrest -- played in 7 games for Miami this season, recording 201 yards on 53 carries.

Aniah Blanchard Man Witnessed Abduction ... Wife Said 'Stay Out Of It'

What would YOU do if you saw a violent kidnapping in progress?
One key witness in the Aniah Blanchard case says he initially kept his mouth shut instead of going to cops because his wife told him it was best to "stay out of it."
The horrible revelation was just made in an Alabama courtroom Wednesday, where officials are trying to prove Ibraheem Yazeed forcibly shoved 19-year-old Aniah Blanchard into her car on Oct. 23 -- the last night she was seen in public.
Blanchard -- who's still missing and at this point presumed dead -- is the stepdaughter of UFC fighter Walt Harris.
During Wednesday's hearing, officials say the witness saw Yazeed forcing Aniah into her car at the Chevron station and leaving the scene ... but he did NOT immediately go to police. Instead, he confided in his wife who told him it was best to not get involved. Unclear why she felt that way.
Eventually, the witness had a change of heart and went to authorities -- and broke down in tears for not coming forward sooner.
As for the case against Yazeed, prosecutors say they found blood from TWO people in Aniah's car and they want to get a DNA sample from Yazeed to see if he's a match.
During Wednesday's hearing, the judge granted the request -- essentially forcing Yazeed to comply. The judge also denied Yazeed's bond, meaning he'll remain behind bars.
As we previously reported, cops say they found a large amount of blood in Aniah's car that matches Aniah -- and the scene was "indicative of someone suffering a life-threatening injury."
The judge also ruled the case will move forward to a grand jury.
As we previously reported, officials are trying to pin the disappearance of Blanchard on 29-year-old Yazeed ... saying he was the one who took Aniah at a Chevron station in Auburn, Alabama last month.
Yazeed has been charged with first-degree kidnapping in connection to the disappearance.

Here's ex-NFL player Mark Walton -- facing a judge Wednesday while in handcuffs -- and being ordered to stay away from the pregnant woman he allegedly attacked.
22-year-old Walton -- who was cut by the Miami Dolphins following Tuesday's arrest -- appeared in a Broward County Courtroom for his arraignment looking like a defeated person.
During the hearing, prosecutors not only listed the allegations against Walton -- that he beat up a woman who's 5 weeks pregnant with his child -- but also listed off his long criminal history .. and quite frankly, it was really sad.
Walton has been arrested a bunch of times for various reasons over the years ... from weed to DUI, to weapons charges and battery -- and while not everything has stuck, it's clear he's got problems.
Because of his rap sheet, the judge ultimately ordered Walton to stay away from the alleged victim -- no contact, no phone calls, texts, social media, etc.
He was also ordered to surrender ANY weapons he's got and must undergo a substance abuse evaluation along with any necessary follow up.
The judge also set Walton's bond at $10,000.
The Dolphins cut the former 2018 4th-round pick out of Miami shortly after learning of the incident, saying in a statement, "We hold our players to a high standard and take these matters very seriously."
Walton is currently serving a 4-game suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy stemming from 3 arrests that all went down earlier this year.
In 7 games for the 'Fins this season ... Walton rushed for 201 yards on 53 carries.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the 2 guards have pled not guilty to falsifying records on the night in question. They were released on $100k bail.
Two of the prison guards who were on watch when Jeffrey Epstein hanged himself in his cell are now facing prison time, themselves, thanks to their arrest on a federal indictment.
According to new legal docs ... Tova Noel and Michael Thomas are both facing charges of falsifying the logs of exactly when they performed checks on Epstein's jail cell.
The feds claim Noel and Thomas were 2 of the guards on duty on August 10 from 12 AM to 8 AM, and during their watch, they were supposed to conduct 5 scheduled checks on Epstein.
The 2 guards allegedly completed slips stating they made those checks, but the feds say not a single one was actually carried through. According to the indictment, Noel and Thomas were at their desks in the common area using computers ... just 15 feet from Epstein's cell. BTW, they weren't doing work either ... the feds allege they were shopping for furniture and hunting down motorcycle deals and sports news.
The feds claim for a period of approximately 2 hours, the guards were sitting at their desks "without moving, and appeared to have been asleep."
Epstein was found dead at 6:33 AM alone in his cell with a noose around his neck ... according to the indictment. Both guards allegedly fessed up to a supervisor that they skipped their checks.
As we reported ... Epstein had attempted suicide a couple weeks prior in July, which is why he was placed in a special housing unit requiring extra supervision.
Thomas and Noel are now each facing one count of conspiracy to falsify records. That carried a max sentence of 5 years in prison. Additionally, Noel is charged with 5 counts of falsifying records while Thomas only got 3. Each of those also carries a max sentence of 5 years
Epstein's death was ruled a suicide by hanging according to the autopsy, but as we've reported ... his team has not ruled out a cover-up, and at least one forensic expert claims the autopsy is missing DNA evidence.

Elliott from 'E.T.' got one helluva plea deal in his DUI case despite putting himself in serious danger ... although the deal does come with strings attached.
Henry Thomas pled no contest to driving under the influence and reckless driving following his Oregon arrest -- but according to docs, obtained by TMZ, the actor won't have to phone home or E.T. from jail.
Instead of time behind bars, Thomas will enter into a diversion program for 1 year, pay a $500 fine, attend a one-time victim impact panel and have an ignition interlock device installed in his car.
Like we said, sweet deal considering how he got busted. Cops say they found Thomas passed out behind the wheel in the middle of a residential intersection. He was booked for DUI and later released on his own recognizance.
Thomas, of course, is most famous for playing Elliott in Steven Spielberg's iconic 1982 film. More recently, he was in Netflix's "The Haunting of Hill House."

Tyler was ordered to pay a $440 fine. He's got until next week to fork over the dough. And, that's it ... he didn't get probation and the judge did NOT order him to enter into an alcohol treatment program.
That's significant because according to the arrest report ... cops requested "the judge consider the possible sentence of a treatment facility for Tyler Christopher's alcohol issues, as well as consider restitution to [the Uber driver] for the damage to his vehicle from Tyler Christopher urinating in his back seat."
Tyler squared things up with the Uber driver. TMZ broke the story ... Tyler passed out in the back seat of an Uber driver's car and urinated himself on the night he was busted.
Police had received 9 calls about Tyler being intoxicated since September 14. Medical personnel had told law enforcement there was nothing more they could do for him cause they'd already tried to help him ... like when Tyler was taken to a medical center for treatment but, against medical advice, checked himself out on the day he got arrested.
