NY Giants' Nate Solder Opts Out Of 2020 NFL Season Cites Son's Cancer Battle

Published | Updated

NY Giants tackle Nate Solder is opting out the 2020 NFL season -- saying it's just too risky to play while his 5-year-old son is still battling cancer.

Hudson Solder was diagnosed with cancerous tumors in his kidneys when he was 3 months old. He's been undergoing treatment ever since.

Just last fall, Hudson had a surgical procedure to remove a tumor -- and also underwent a 3rd round of chemotherapy. Yeah, he's one tough kid.

Nate also battled testicular cancer prior to the 2014 season.

Oh, and Nate's wife JUST gave birth to a brand new baby boy.

The 2-time Super Bowl champion was set to make $13 MILLION in 2020 -- but after weighing the risks, Solder decided the juice just ain't worth the squeeze.

"With fear and trembling, we struggle to keep our priorities in order and, for us, our children's health and the health of our neighbors come before football."

Solder added, "We fully recognize that being able to make a decision like this a privilege."

The 32-year-old lineman says he will miss his Giants teammates ... and thanks the team and fans for respecting his decision.

Solder joins a list of NFLers who have opted out this week -- including Eagles WR Marquise Goodwin, who said he refuses to risk the health of his 5-month-old daughter.

Other players include Patrick Chung and Dont'a Hightower of the New England Patriots ... as well as De'Anthony Thomas and Chance Warmack.

Pro Golfer Camilo Villegas 22-Month-Old Daughter Dies ... After Brain Cancer Battle

Devastating news ... PGA golfer Camilo Villegas has revealed his 22-month-old daughter has died after battling brain and spine cancer.

Mia Villegas passed away on Sunday in Miami, PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan confirmed. Mia is the only child of Camilo and Maria Villegas.

Mia was initially diagnosed in March -- and underwent surgical procedures to try and remove the cancerous tumors found on her brain and spine.

Just last month, the family said Mia was set to undergo a second round of chemotherapy.

Unfortunately, the treatments just weren't effective enough.

"The PGA Tour is deeply saddened having lost a member of our family, Mia Villegas," Monahan said.

"We grieve with Camilo and Maria and our thoughts and prayers are with the Villegas family."

Back in May, Maria wrote an emotional note on IG to her daughter -- saying, "Being your mom has been the greatest gift in my life!"

"I thank God every day for this experience that we are going through together. Yes, it has been the most difficult challenge I have ever experienced but it has also been the most beautiful."

"I am thankful for the lessons. You are the strongest warrior and I am so proud of you, of us."

38-year-old Camilo joined the PGA Tour in 2004 -- and the Colombian golfer has 4 tournament wins on the PGA Tour since turning pro.

Restaurant 'Ken' Confronts Black Mom ... Over 1-Yr-Old Fussing in Public

Published | Updated

MIND YOUR BUSINESS

Two white guys in Las Vegas told a black woman her baby girl needed to pipe down 'cause she was annoying them -- and she recorded the whole disgusting encounter.

This went down at a Japanese joint Monday, where the mother started filming the two men -- we'll call them Kens (Karen gets a day off) -- from across the restaurant. She feels one of the guys was being racist because he'd said something about her 1-year-old daughter making noises -- ya know, like babies tend to do.

The men never say anything racist on camera, but the mom claims they said something before the video started. When the men realize she's recording, they whip out their own phones, and the older guy got out of his chair and accosted the mom and the 2 kids at her table.

Thankfully, one of the staffers finally stepped in and told the old guy to go back to his seat ... and then later, it looks like they're both asked to leave.

MEMPHIS PUTT-PUTT CENTER Wants to Press Charges ... Against Girls Who Went HAM

Published | Updated
Plexiglass Throw
OUT OF CONTROL

The mini-golf complex that became overwhelmed by hundreds of children wreaking havoc wants the teens caught on camera destroying things to be punished in court.

Police officers were already meeting with Putt-Putt Fun Center management in Memphis Monday when general manager Aaron Bos told us he wants to press charges against the girls in the video seen throwing plexiglass and other large objects.

We're told management is trying to identify the girls, and they already have some promising leads after combing social media. Sounds like some of the alleged perpetrators might have been bragging about the shenanigans.

Management tells us it will cost $300 to replace the damaged plexiglass ... plus smaller repairs for broken flower pots.

The Memphis Police Department tells TMZ ... one juvenile summons was written for a 13-year-old boy for disorderly conduct and they're still investigating others.

As we reported ... a chaotic scene broke out at the mini-golf complex Sunday after parents dropped off hundreds of kids, who proceeded to go HAM when they couldn't get refunds.

Management is concerned some staffers won't return to the job after the incident -- most are teenagers themselves -- and after seeing the video, their parents might think it's not a safe place to work. Putt-Putt says it's bringing in a counselor for employees.

We're told new safety precautions include adding security guards who will be tasked with preventing parents from dropping off kids unattended. A new policy for minors to be accompanied by a guardian will be enforced.

The community is rallying around the biz ... we're told the phones have been ringing off the hook, with folks volunteering to come by and help clean up the mess and mentioning how appalled they are by the behavior seen on video.

We've also learned more about what set off the chaos ... management says kids were jumping into go-karts, fights were breaking out, staffers felt unsafe and cops couldn't control all the kids, so management shut down the entire complex.

LeBron James' Son Clowns Dad w/ Hilarious Impression ... 'I'm In Literal Tears!!!'

Lebron James' Son
LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON

THIS IS HILARIOUS!!!

LeBron James' 13-year-old son has some serious comedy talent -- feasting his famous dad with an amazing impression of the L.A. Lakers superstar ... and the video is laugh out loud funny!

With LeBron inside the NBA bubble in Orlando, Bryce Maximus -- Bron's youngest son -- decided to show off his impersonation of LeBron meeting someone ... and it was so good, Bron's wife, Savannah, captioned it, "I'm in literal tears!"

Watch the vid ... Bryce, doing his best LBJ, asks his older brother, Bronny, several times how tall he is -- before Bronny finally relents, "I'm 6'2."

That's when Bryce REALLY hams up the impression ... "Dang! You 15 years old, 6'2?! Daaang! You about 6'11" when you came out the womb my boy!!! Yessir!"

Bronny cracked up. Savannah chuckled hard. It was great.

Even LeBron himself had to give Bryce a shout out for the clip ... he shared the vid on social media with crying laughing emojis!!!

Amazing stuff.

Ryan Dorsey Speaks on Naya Rivera's Death ... 'This is So Unfair'

Published

Naya Rivera's ex-husband, Ryan Dorsey, has broken his silence on her untimely death -- and his tribute to her is gut-wrenching.

Ryan -- who's also the father of her son, Josey -- took to Instagram Saturday with a heartfelt post about his ex-wife for the first time since she disappeared and was later discovered dead at Lake Piru, throwing up a photo of her and their boy together along with a lengthy caption.

He writes, "This is so unfair...there's not enough words to express the hole left in everyone's hearts. I can't believe this is life now. I don't know if I'll ever believe it. You were just here... We were just in the back swimming with Josey the day before."

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Ryan continued, "Life just isn't fair. I don't know what to say...I'm thankful for our times and our journey that brought us together and gave us the sweetest and kindest smart little boy we could ever hope for. I remember sometimes you used to get annoyed at me: 'Ryan can you stop snap chatting!' Haha. I'm glad I didn't listen to you because I have hundreds and probably thousands of snaps and videos that Josey will have forever and know his momma loved him more than life, and how much fun we had together as he was growing up."

He went on to say that Josey's presence alone would make any bad times a little less because a piece of Naya will forever live on within him, and by extension ... with Ryan. He added, "(Josey will) never forget where he came from. We miss you. We will always love you. Love you Meep."

Ryan went on to thank everyone for the outpouring of support, saying ... "I'll just say in closing, be kind to yourself, be kind to others, forgive...forget...don't hold grudges....if you have nothing nice to say maybe try not to say anything. There's peace in silence." He finished, "Time on Earth is precious and you just never know....you never know what could happen. Hold your loved ones close, and cherish the times you have with those you care about."

Ryan was one of several members of Naya's loved ones who went to Lake Piru in the days after her disappearance -- even getting in the water at one point to feel a connection.

They had a somewhat tumultuous 4-year marriage -- Naya was arrested for domestic violence in 2017 after an argument over their kid turned violent. She filed for divorce shortly thereafter.

Elon Musk, Grimes Twitter Beef Over Gender-Neutral Pronouns

Published | Updated

Elon Musk enjoys firsts, and he can rack up another, because he may have had the first twitter argument with his quarantine partner!

It's not entirely clear, but it sure looks like Elon and Grimes were in a heated argument over ... pronouns. Elon had tweeted, "pronouns suck." Grimes replied, "I love you but please turn off ur phone or give me a dall [sic]. I cannot support hate.  Please stop this." BTW ... Grimes deleted her tweet.

So what, pray tell, does this all mean? Well, as you know, Elon and Grimes named their child, X AE A-II Musk. They said they wanted a gender-neutral name so their child could freely choose which to identify with.

It seems -- although it's not clear -- that the dustup between the two may be over the gender-neutral pronouns. Whatever happened after the tweets is unclear ... they may have actually talked it out in person!

Bobby Shmurda Gearing Up for Parole Hearing ... Ready to Drop New Music!!!

Published | Updated

Bobby Shmurda's plan for life after prison includes dropping new music and talking to at-risk youths about leading a better life .... but these plans all hinge on how well his parole hearing goes.

The rapper's mother, Leslie Pollard, tells TMZ ... Bobby plans to tell the parole board next month if they release him, he's going to put his nose to the grindstone in the studio and also stay out of trouble.

Leslie tells us Bobby's been doing a lot of writing since he's been behind bars, and he plans to record his work for Epic Records, the label that signed him.

And, get this ... Leslie says Bobby also wants to produce a documentary about his life, which he hopes will also be used as an educational tool for troubled youth. Bobby's plan with at-risk kids includes visiting them and spending time with them and telling his story so they can avoid going down the path he traveled that led him to spend years behind bars.

As we've reported ... the rapper copped a plea deal back in September 2016 ... to conspiracy to possess weapons and possession of a weapon. The other charges -- including conspiracy to commit murder -- were dismissed. He was sentenced to 7 years behind bars and 5 years probation.

Fast forward to now ... Bobby's weeks away from his parole hearing and he's crossing his fingers. Leslie's support never wavered. She'd visit him every 2 weeks but those visits came to a screeching halt when the pandemic hit.

She speaks to him on the phone often and says bobby's optimistic the parole board will spring him.

Ciara & Russell Wilson New Baby Boy for the Win!!!

Published

Ciara and Russell Wilson just made sure they will NOT raise a loser ... 'cause their new baby boy's name is literally Win!!!

That's right ... the singer and superstar NFL quarterback hubby announced Friday they welcomed their new baby boy and revealed his name is Win Harrison Wilson. The singer posted a touching video on Instagram as she sang the baby boy happy birthday while cradling him in her arms moments after giving birth. Win, born Thursday, weighed in at 8 lbs., 1 oz.

Ciara
CONGRATULATIONS!

No doubt the couple was ecstatic about welcoming their second child together -- Ciara's third overall -- but it was an even special moment Russell soaked up considering he feared not being present for his son's birth.

The Seattle Seahawks QB had feared COVID-19 restrictions would keep him out of the delivery room. But, that apparently wasn't the case ... 'cause dude was in there with camera phone in hand enjoying the hell out of a memorable experience.

Goes without saying ... the kid's gonna have a lot of pressure living up to his name. But, with superstar genes in his bloodline, winning at life should come easy for Win.

Taylor Swift Swoops Kanye with 'Folklore' Surprise ... Leaks Ryan & Blake's Baby Name?!?

Published | Updated

Taylor Swift's taken out 2 birds with one surprise stone -- her album, "Folklore," beat her nemesis, Kanye West, to market, and revealed the top secret name of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' third child ... or so it seems.

So, the thing Swifties are really latching on to with her 8th studio album, which dropped at midnight, is the song "Betty" ... because they think it solves the mystery of Ryan and Blake's daughter. They had the kid late last year, but have never said what her name is.

Taylor's fans theorize it's Betty, because the song also mentions their 2 other daughters ... 5-year-old James and 3-year-old Inez.

Some of the lyrics include, "You heard the rumors from Inez. You can't believe a word she says. Most times, but this time it was true. The worst thing that I ever did was what I did to you." She also sang, "She said, 'James, get in, let's drive.' Those days turned into nights. Slept next to her, but I dreamt of you all summer long."

Keep in mind, Taylor, Blake and Ryan are BFFs ... so Swifties might've nailed this one.

As for "Folklore" as a whole ... Taylor's never dropped one of these surprise albums before, and it just coincidentally (if ya believe in that) came on the day Kanye was supposed to drop "Donda."

Not shockingly, Ye didn't deliver his album today ... so, score one for T-Swift?

Alright, one more "Folklore" theory ... some guy named William Bowery has 2 writing credits on the record ... but he's never written on any of Taylor's previous albums. Fans seem to think it's a new pseudonym she's using.

This theory, of course, will remind hardcore Swifties about the "This Is What You Came For" drama ... after it was revealed she secretly wrote that song under the pseudonym, Nils Sjoberg.

Kim Kardashian Unfollowed Larsa As They Grew Apart ... No Drama or Bad Blood

Published | Updated

Kim Kardashian and Larsa Pippen just aren't as close as they used to be ... and that's what triggered a conscious unfollowing between them.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ ... Kim quietly stopped following Larsa on Instagram at the end of last year when she made a decision to unfollow EVERYONE, and bring her following count down to zero.

We're told Kim felt she needed a fresh start, social media-wise, and wanted to start over by following only accounts of her family and childhood friends -- all to reduce her feed, and keep a clear headspace.

Most folks thought Kim and Larsa were still super close -- until they noticed this week they weren't following each other anymore -- but our sources say the ladies' friendship simply grew apart over time because life got in the way.

We're told there was no drama between Kim and Larsa -- and the rumors floating around LP messed around with Kanye West or Tristan Thompson are not true.

Our sources say Kim is focused on getting Kanye healthy, her 4 young kids, law school and juggling her 3 business. Larsa, meanwhile, says she's focused on her kids, her new fitness line and her "relationships in real life."

Our sources say Kim and Larsa are just in a different place in their lives, and while they're not as close as they used to be, they have no ill will and still stay in touch. Case in point ... we're told Larsa recently visited Kim in Los Angeles.

Larsa's still got a Kardashian following ... Khloe and Kourtney cleaned house on IG just like Kim, but they still follow Larsa on Twitter.

'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Not Filming Kanye's Bipolar Episode ... Kim Shielding Kids Too

Published | Updated

"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" is NOT documenting any of Kanye West's current bipolar episode -- and the order came down from Kim herself ... TMZ has learned.

Production sources tell us ... as soon as Kanye went off the rails, Kim made the decision none of it would be used as a storyline on the show. We're told the series had just recently started shooting again after a lengthy hiatus because of COVID.

Our sources say Kim takes her husband's mental health very seriously and doesn't want it exploited for ratings or good TV drama -- some things are off the table, and this is one of them. That policy extends to her kids too ... we're told production was told not to profile any of them during this ordeal because she wants them to avoid seeing it down the road.

With that said, we're told she and other family members are still filming ... but they're simply following other storylines right now. We're told they were out in Malibu Wednesday shooting for the show.

Here's another thing ... our Kardashian sources tell us online speculation about Ye going seemingly berserk just for publicity for his new album is completely bogus. We're told NOTHING he's doing right now is for attention -- it's all too real.

Elon Musk Tiny Baby ... Huuuuuuge Expectations!!!

Published | Updated

Elon Musk is showing off his pride and joy -- no, not the Falcon 9 -- little baby A-12 ... but he's also making it clear the kid's following in big footsteps, so he better get his spoon skills up!

The Tesla and SpaceX honcho posted a pic of himself cradling X Æ A-Xii, (it's pronounced X Ash A12) ... adorable, right? But, Elon's caption -- in German for some reason -- translates to "The baby cannot use a spoon yet."

We're pretty sure Papa Musk is joking because A-12 isn't even 3-months-old yet!!! While we have no doubt Elon sets a high bar for his kids, there are limits ... even for the son of Musk.

On the other hand ... no one would be shocked to see A-12 rocking a headset in mission control for the next SpaceX launch. Kid's gotta learn somehow!

California No High School Football Until Jan. ... Thanks to COVID

Published

It's official ... no high school football during 2020 in California -- the season will now begin in January and could pose some serious issues for multi-sport athletes.

The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) issued a statement Monday, saying most teams can begin to practice in December with a January kickoff date for regular-season games.

Football season in CA usually begins in either late August or early September -- but COVID has obviously thrown a wrench in the usual plans.

Now, the season will run through April -- which could force some top multi-sport athletes across the state to make some tough choices.

Both baseball, basketball and track are now scheduled to begin around March -- and it could be very difficult or even impossible for players to meaningfully contribute in those sports at the same time.

Of course, a TON of major athletes played 2 or 3 sports in high school ... just look at Patrick Mahomes and Kyler Murray who were both big football and baseball guys growing up.

Other Fall sports that have been pushed back include volleyball, water polo, cross country, field hockey, gymnastics and more.

It'll be interesting to see how college recruiting will be affected by the new schedule -- signing day is usually in February, long after football season is usually over.

'Mob Wives' Star Drita D'Avanzo Please Go Easy on My Hubby, Judge!!! Lee's 'An Amazing Father'

Published

"Mob Wives" star Drita D'Avanzo wants the judge in her husband's federal gun case to cut him a little slack come sentencing, and she fired off a handwritten letter to make her case.

Drita wrote to Judge Kovner, pleading with him to show leniency on Lee D'Avanzo because he's a caring family man who needs to come home to his wife and kids.

In the handwritten letter, obtained by TMZ, Drita says Lee is an amazing father to their children who "never missed a soccer game and was very involved in our kids school work and any activities they were involved in. He is a family man and is missed!"

Drita adds ... Lee "has a family that is fully supporting him and hoping he comes home soon!"

Lee pled guilty to gun possession charges in March after the NYPD raided the family home and allegedly found 2 loaded handguns. Drita was eventually cleared of all charges.

Acting Brooklyn U.S. Attorney Seth D. DuCharme prosecuted the case against Lee, and the sentencing hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.

Based on the penal code and the probation department's recommendations D'Avanzo could get anywhere from about 3 to 6 years ... it's totally up to the judge. So, we'll see if Drita's letter had makes a difference.

Joey Lawrence Files for Divorce ... Whoa!!!

Published | Updated

Joey Lawrence is throwing in the towel on his second marriage ... he just filed for divorce.

The former "Blossom" star filed Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court to divorce Chandie Lawrence as they approached their 15-year wedding anniversary.

Joey and Chandie met at Disney World way back in 1993, when he was 16 years old and on vacation. Joey says he invited her on an ice cream date at the Mouse House when they first met and joked about getting married at the theme park.

After Joey's first marriage to Michelle Vella ended in divorce in 2005, he quickly wed Chandie in July and their teenage wedding fantasies became reality as they tied the knot at Disney World.

It's not clear what led to the split, but Joey and Chandie will have to settle child custody and/or support issues -- they have 2 minor daughters, 14-year-old Charleston and 10-year-old Liberty.

Despite Disney's best efforts ... no fairytale ending this time.
