Ralph Yarl, the Black teen who was shot in the head after walking up to the wrong house last month, was at a charity event for a good cause ... helping others who have ended up in situations similar to his in one of his first outings since the near-death experience.

The 17-year-old Missouri student was at the “Going the Distance for Brain Injury” run-walk event in Kansas City Monday -- the same city where he was shot 2 times -- including in the head -- just over a month before by 84-year-old Andrew Lester.

Ralph's mom, Cleo Nagbe, told local outlet KMBC she's extremely grateful for the outpouring of support she's been receiving for her son. In regards to the event, she says, "Socially it’s still hard for him. So, I’m glad he was able to overcome this. I pray that he will overcome most of his social hurdles after doing this."

You'll recall, Ralph was attempting to pick up his siblings when he mistakenly approached Lester's home, resulting in Lester shooting the teenager twice ... he's since been dealing with a serious brain injury but is luckily alive after the terrifying incident.

Lee Merritt, attorney for the Yarl family, told TMZ the part of Ralph's brain that deals with emotion and stress was damaged, so his doctor didn't give him the green light to return to school due to all the social interactions.

Ralph also got an invite from Ahmaud Arbery's mom, Wanda, to join her at a 5K race earlier this month, but his fam didn't think the time was right to be in a social setting, especially after the school denial.

Beyoncé's youngest daughter Rumi Carter, was in the stands cheering during a show in Paris over the weekend, but the cheers were for one of her siblings.

5-year-old Rumi was loving it when Blue Ivy took the stage in the middle of the show. She showed off her moves during Beyonce's "My Power" from "The Lion King," following up with some dance moves during "Black Parade."

Rumi and her twin bro, Sir, were sitting with a group of friends and fam -- including proud papa Jay-Z -- as they gave props to their 11-year-old sister. They held up a sign -- "We Love You Blue!"

After the performance, Blue Ivy went back to her seat to the delight of her brother and sister.

Bey's mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson, was also on hand, and gave her granddaughter mad props ... "Last night I saw my beautiful grandbaby (11) dance in the front of almost 70 thousand people! She killed it and was as cool as a cucumber! Blue Ivy Carter ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ No Fear❤️❤️."

Beyoncé kicked off her Renaissance World Tour at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, earlier this month, marking her first solo concert outing in seven years.

The event's set list features various songs from her seventh studio album "Renaissance," such as "Alien Superstar," "Cuff It," "Pure/Honey" and "Plastic Off the Sofa."

Paul Walker's memory is truly living on ... thanks to his brother Cody.

Cody Walker and his wife, Felicia, honored Paul by naming their third son after the late 'Fast & Furious' star, who died in a car crash nearly 10 years ago.

After the baby was born April 30, the couple quickly decided on the name, Paul Barrett "Bear" Walker.  They posted an Instagram photo of the baby held by his 2-year-old brother, Colt Knox Walker.

Cody told PEOPLE ... "This November will mark 10 years since we lost my brother, Paul, and I just felt now was the appropriate time (to honor Paul)."

Turns out Cody is the second member of the Walker family to celebrate Paul's memory. Their older brother, Caleb Walker, and his wife, Stephanie, named their 5-year-old son Maverick Paul Walker after the actor.

In the latest F&F installment "Fast X," which was released this month, Paul is briefly seen in a flashback at the beginning of the film.

Minnesota Twins manager Rocco Baldelli and his pregnant wife will be adding a couple more players to their roster at home ... turns out they're about to have -- of all things -- twins!!!!

The MLB skipper's bae, Allie Baldelli, shared the exciting, and wildly ironic, news on Thursday ... using pics of their dog and their young daughter.

In the images, you can see the couple's toddler holding ultrasound images of the unborn Baldellis around her head.

“BOY TWINS," Allie captioned the pics. "due in september 🤍🙃🤍🙃."

Baldelli currently has his baseball Twins in first place in the American League Central ... but in a matter months, he'll have a whole new set of twins to manage -- and we're sure he's fired up for the task.

Mama June's daughter Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell is still in the middle of her cancer treatments, but she just got a reason to smile -- her daughter's elementary school graduation.

Anna posted a series of photos from the special moment and sang the praises of her 11-year-old daughter, Kaitlyn. Anna took pics with both of her kiddos and her boyfriend, Eldridge Toney, during the special occasion.

She wrote, "I am one proud mama right now and I also can’t believe I am going to have a middle schooler and a second grader give me a minute while I go cry my eyes out. I am so proud of my girls and everything they have accomplished.”

Anna was wearing a light-pink scarf on her head -- remember we broke the story, she was losing her hair due to her treatments to combat stage 4 cancer.

It goes without saying ... it's been a tough several months for Anna, but she has been keeping a positive outlook ever since she was diagnosed with adrenal carcinoma at the top of the year.

A school in Florida has put the kibosh on its younger students reading Amanda Gorman's powerful poem -- the one she read at President Joe Biden's inauguration -- after one parent claimed it was riddled with hate ... also claiming it was penned by Oprah.

The Bob Graham Education Center in Miami Lakes imposed the prohibition on Gorman's "The Hill We Climb," making it available only to middle schoolers at the K-8 school.

Daily Salinas, the complaining parent, filed a complaint in March, claiming the poem could cause "confusion and indoctrinate students" with "hate messages" ... adding a specious claim Oprah was the writer and not Gorman.

After learning about the ban, the 25-year-old poet took to social media to call out Salinas ... saying, “So they ban my book from young readers… fail to specify what parts of my poetry they object to, refuse to read any reviews, and offer no alternatives." She says she's "gutted" that it takes only 1 complaint to get works of art removed.

Gorman now says publisher Penguin Random House is teaming up with PEN America -- an org that defends free expression through literature -- to fight back against book bans with a lawsuit.

Before these two famous sisters were bringing all the drama to reality television, they were just two siblings having a splash-tastic time at the pool, driving themselves to the studios as child stars, and growing up in Beverly Hills, California.

Gervonta Davis is off the hook in his domestic violence case ... prosecutors have dropped the charge against the star boxer, TMZ Sports has confirmed.

The 28-year-old had been facing one count of misdemeanor battery after the mother of his child accused him of hitting her during a wild altercation in Broward County, Fla. back on Dec. 27.

But, officials said the alleged victim ultimately did not want to press charges in the case ... leading to its dismissal on Monday.

The parties "agreed that the defendant had to complete an anger management course and parenting class," prosecutors said in a statement. Once prosecutors received confirmation he'd completed the courses, the case was dropped.

The woman initially told cops Davis had struck her with a "closed hand type slap" ... causing her an abrasion on the inside of her lip. She later, though, walked back the allegations in a social media post, writing, "While the emotions were high I made an unnecessary call to law enforcement in an intense moment while I was frantic."

"Gervonta did not harm me or our daughter."

For his part, Davis has always denied wrongdoing in the case ... saying in a social media statement of his own hours after the alleged incident, "I NEVER PUT MY HANDS ON MY CHILD MOTHER NOR MY F***ING DAUGHTER ARE YOU F***ING CRAZY!!"

Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson works in a building that is kind of an island to itself, but unlike her favorite show, no one gets voted off.

The newest Justice shared her jam during a commencement address to graduating law students at American University in D.C.

She confessed she's a "Survivor superfan," using the long-running show to deliver her message. Justice Jackson talked about the goal of setting priorities and using resources, however scant, to chart your path.

Jackson told the crowd, "I watch it with my husband and my daughters even now, which I will admit it's not easy to do with the demands of my day job. But you have to set priorities, people, and that's exactly the first lesson that I have for you today."

The Justice has watched since Season 2, and had another good takeaway ... "Season after season, the players who tend to do really well are those who appear to come in with the understanding that this game is about existing both in community and conflict."

RiRi just posted a series of topless photos on her Instagram from her first pregnancy ... a photo shoot she's calling "Rub on ya titties."

Rihanna shared seven images from the maternity shoot, and she's wearing nothing but a thong bikini bottom, some bling, and a pair of heels.

In the photos, Rihanna is topless and the only thing covering her boobs are her two hands.

New England Patriots player Ty Montgomery is providing a life-changing opportunity to a group of former foster kids this summer ... sending them to Israel for what is being described as a "transformative experience."

TMZ Sports is told -- the wide receiver will send 11 foster care alumni to the Holy Land for a 10-day Jerusalem Encounter tour ... with the intent to give them some guidance right as they adjust to living on their own.

The trip will include a tour of Israel, reading the Bible, and getting a better understanding of the history behind their faith ... something Montgomery did back in 2022.

Of course, the cause means a lot to Montgomery ... whose mother, Lisa, raised foster kids throughout his childhood.

Montgomery spoke about his decision to help out ... saying, "I want to send these people to Israel because God has asked me to, and I believe this experience will transform their lives."

"Those who have been in the foster care system will always hold a special place in my heart. I know the love they need. I saw it firsthand as my mom raised 17 foster youth alongside me."

"What better way to impact the lives of those exiting foster care than providing this experience of a lifetime."

Montgomery is hoping to make the trip an annual thing through his charity My 10 Percent ... and has already gotten financial support from NASCAR stars Chase Elliott and Bubba Wallace to help the cause.

Kim Zolciak says she's witnessed her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, smoke pot -- and she's afraid for her kids' safety -- asking a judge to step in and force him to get a drug test.

According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Zolciak says she's got serious concerns for the safety and well-being of her 4 minor kids while in Kroy's care ... and she points to his marijuana smoking as the source of her fear.

Zolciak is asking the judge to force Kroy to submit to a five-panel hair follicle drug screen ... and that he not cut or remove any of his hair until the screen is complete.

TMZ broke the story ... both Kim and Kroy filed separate petitions for divorce last week. Both are asking for sole physical custody of their kids ... and Kroy's asking for sole legal custody as well.

We were also the first to report the estranged couple's financial problems, owing more than $1 million to the IRS. In his divorce docs, Kroy asks Kim to retain all financial documents -- including expense reports as well as income and tax records.

Kim states she and Kroy are still living under the same roof with their kids, the same home that went into foreclosure earlier this year ... but you gotta imagine tensions are running high between the two.
