Kevin Hart Sued by Sex Tape Partner for $60 Million ... Claiming Kevin Was in On Recording Liaison
-
Exclusive
- 31.8K shares
Kevin Hart's sex tape partner claims Hart conspired with a friend to secretly record their encounter, and now she's suing him for $60 million.
Montia Sabbag claims in a new lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, her 2017 encounter with Hart in a Vegas hotel room was all planned by Hart and J.T. Jackson -- his friend who later was arrested for extortion. She says Hart was motivated by publicity ... the need to get more -- especially with an upcoming comedy tour -- and that's why he and JT allegedly hid the camera.
The suit claims Hart allowed Jackson into the Cosmopolitan Hotel suite so he could set up hidden video recording devices to capture the liaison. Jackson was later charged with 2 counts of extortion relating to alleged efforts to get money out of Hart to keep the tape under wraps. Jackson denied ever extorting the comedian.
Hart has repeatedly denied having any knowledge of the recording ... claiming he, too, was a victim of Jackson's extortion attempts. You'll recall Hart later apologized for his infidelity and was adamant nobody should profit off his mistake.
TMZ broke the story ... Kevin and Sabbag got up close and personal while partying at Marquee nightclub in Vegas. Sabbag, who back in September 2017 said she's a crime victim herself, is suing for intentional infliction of emotional distress and invasion of privacy.
We reached out to Hart's rep ... so far, no word back.

LaVar Ball Calls Lonzo 'Damaged Goods' in Argument Over BBB
-
Breaking News
The Big Baller Brand is in a state of emergency ... with LaVar and Lonzo Ball getting in a heated argument over the future of the family business ... and LaVar calling his son "damaged goods."
It all went down when the cameras were rolling for their Facebook TV show, "Ball in the Family," ... when Zo asked LaVar if he'd consider changing the company name in wake of the allegations that ex-partner Alan Foster stole MILLIONS from the family.
"Hell no, I wouldn't change the name," LaVar says.
"I'm just saying, from a marketing standpoint ... I'm just asking a question," Zo responded.
"I’m just saying, BBB is always going to be the name on the fact that it also stands for the three Ball brothers. I’m not changing that s**t at all,” LaVar fired back.
Lonzo tries to get the opinion of business partner Chris Rivers, who's also present during the argument ... and that's when LaVar went off.
LaVar Ball being extremely disrespectful to Lonzo pic.twitter.com/vgYCmg47Wd
— pickuphoop (@pickuphoop) September 16, 2019 @pickuphoop
"I don't give a s**t about his opinion ... listen to me, son. When I come out with a name and then somebody tells me to change it, that’s like me telling me to change your name."
"That’s like people saying ‘Oh, hey, change Lonzo’s name to Alfonzo on the fact that he been damaged goods for the last two years.'"
Yikes ...
Of course ... LaVar is referring to the fact that Lonzo's short NBA career has been plagued with injuries (the Pelicans guard still hasn't played 100 total games yet).
Lonzo says the brand is "demolished" and clearly looks defeated from the argument ... but LaVar doesn't want to give up.
"You're the one that gotta make it grow. I made you guys superstars for a reason. But, if I don't do the things that I'm doing, Zo ... you're just another regular old player."
It's been a rocky few months for BBB ... with Zo's manager telling consumers to throw their ZO2 shoes in the trash ... and Ball admitting his first round of his signature shoes were defective.
Now, with Lonzo and LaVar seemingly at odds -- ya gotta wonder how much longer Zo will put up with LaVar's antics given that he's a grown-ass man who doesn't really need his dad's help with his career.

Mike 'The Situation' Being Out Of Prison Is My Honeymoon ... And My Clothing Biz Is Booming!!!
-
Exclusive
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino won't be running off to honeymoon with his new bride anytime soon -- he knows there's a ton of money to be made -- and he's gotta strike while the iron is hot.
Sources close to Mike tell us the "Jersey Shore" star's The Sitch clothing store has seen record numbers since his prison release. We're told Sorrentino's plan for the foreseeable future is to hunker down in his New Jersey home and manage sales and marketing.
The store caters to men, women and children, and Mike dreamed it up just after his November wedding ... but we're told sales of t-shirts and accessories never really took off until Sitch got locked up. Since his release, those numbers have grown exponentially.
As for no honeymoon .... it's all relative. After 8 months in lock up, being home is like paradise, so Mike's happier than a pig in s**t, and we're told Lauren is just as happy to have him around. They'll eventually go on a honeymoon, but they don't feel it's a pressing issue.
One thing they've put on the front burner ... starting a fam. We're told Sitch and his chick are already doing what's necessary ... which is exactly what Lauren told us she had in mind just before Mike got out.
Mike's also got a book in the works ... a certain money maker. Gotta respect the dude's hustle.
As you know ... Mike came out of prison looking straight-up shredded -- he had plenty of time to lift weights on the inside -- and he's also approaching 4 years of sobriety.
Not a bad situation.

Poo Bear $1 Million Burglary Caught on Video!!! Thief Struggled With Safe
-
Exclusive

The burglars who made off with $1 million worth of jewelry at Poo Bear's pad had a hiccup during the heist ... because the hitmaker's safe was too damn heavy to simply carry away.
TMZ has obtained this surveillance video from Poo Bear's security cam at his massive Hollywood Hills crib ... and you see 3 burglars casing the joint before finding a way inside and running off with his valuables.
We broke the story ... the heist was discovered last week, and the bad guys stole an entire safe filled with a treasure trove of bling. We're told one of PB's staffers discovered a smashed window, and when they went inside, the lockbox was nowhere to be found.
In the surveillance footage, you see one burglar struggling to make it up the driveway with the safe. They get to to the base of the driveway, rest the safe on a ledge, seemingly ask an accomplice for help and then strain as they carry it off and disappear into the dark.
Another burglar has a different plan ... pushing a large black box down the driveway. The third burglar takes the easy way out, running off with what appears to be a duffel bag -- no heavy lifting required.
It was a birthday bummer for Poo Bear ... the guy who produced tons of hits for Justin Bieber, Usher and Chris Brown was celebrating his 41st birthday in Tokyo when the burglary went down.
Maybe one day Poo Bear can laugh about the burglar struggling to carry his safe.

We're told it also has VVS hearts and arrow cut diamonds -- and took A YEAR to create.
Of course, the jewelry is a replication of the famous moment when Kaepernick first began kneeling for the national anthem as a member of the 49ers back in 2016.
We're told all of the profits that are made from the piece will be donated directly to the Know Your Rights Camp -- Colin's organization that preaches equality for all.
Bidding starts in a couple weeks ... with the starting price being set at $90k.

Felicity Huffman Prison Life's a Mixed Bag ... Work On Your Tan, But Also Make Your Bed
-
Exclusive
- 8.2K shares
Felicity Huffman won't be doing hard time when she spends 2 weeks behind bars, but it ain't Hollywood glamour either ... she can do some sunbathing, but only after she makes her bed.
The actress has requested that she spend her time in prison at FCI Dublin, in Dublin, CA -- just East of San Francisco -- starting on Oct. 25. If granted by the Bureau of Prisons, she will serve her 14 days for her role in the college bribery scandal at the low-security facility ... and we've got an inside look at what Felicity's life will be like.
Upon entry, Felicity will be stripped searched and then she'll get a jumpsuit, with 3 pairs of underwear. She'll get a hygiene kit with a comb, deodorant, toothbrush and some crappy toothpaste, plus a roll of toilet paper. She better conserve her squares -- Felicity gets one roll of TP every other week, which in her case means the roll needs to last her entire stay.
Felicity will be required to make her bed by 6:30 AM every weekday morning. On the weekends, she'll have to straighten up her prison cot by 10 AM. No maids, of course.
Most of her time will be spent inside, but Felicity can still catch some rays. Sunbathing is allowed at FCI Dublin, but only on the sun decks from 4 PM Friday until 8:30 PM Sunday. BTW ... inmates get at least 1 hour of recreation time each day.
As we reported ... Felicity was sentenced Friday, in what is clearly a spectacular loss for prosecutors.
Prison food generally sucks -- just ask Bill Cosby -- and Felicity will sit down for lunch from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM every day, but she can't leave the mess hall with anything more than a piece of fruit.
Felicity will mix with the rest of the prison pop ... the inmates have a common area complete with TVs, cards and board games. Fair to guess ... she'll be Mrs. Popular.
Hear that??? It's Lori Loughlin breathing a huge sigh of relief.

Felicity Huffman Judge Who Sentenced Her to 14 Days ... Says College Admissions System Was Already Broken
-
Breaking News
- 28.3K shares
3:18 PM PT -- The judge in the case said some revealing things that could determine what happens to Lori Loughlin and others. The judge gave credit to Felicity for 2 reasons -- she had "near immediate acceptance of responsibility" for her crime, and she paid one of the smallest bribes.
The judge also questioned prosecutors, who made it clear they wanted to scare the crap out of other parents who might be thinking about doing the same thing. The judge said, "I have trouble with the notion of general deterrence. It doesn't make sense to me."
And, this is fascinating. The judge said she was not swayed by prosecutors claiming the bribery scheme undermined the entire college admissions process, adding, it "has cracks in it with or without what these defendants have done."
1:20 PM PT -- In case it's not apparent, this is a spectacular loss for prosecutors, who at first were clearly gunning for years in prison for anyone involved in the scheme. Ultimately, the people who count -- the Probation Dept. and the judge -- have essentially said the case amounted to a bunch of nothing. 14 days is a huge embarrassment for prosecutors. It would be shocking if prosecutors don't try to cut a deal with Lori Loughlin ... a deal that would mimic Felicity's sentence.
1:10 PM PT -- Felicity just left court. She beelined it to a waiting SUV, without saying anything to the waiting crowd.
12:53 PM PT -- Felicity will have to turn herself in to begin her 2 weeks behind bars on Oct. 25.
12:37 PM PT -- The judge just sentenced Felicity to 14 days behind bars, a $30k fine, one year of supervised release and 250 hours of community service. She'll start her prison time at a later date.
12:19 PM PT -- Felicity now has the floor ... saying, "I am deeply sorry to the students, parents, colleges and universities impacted by my actions." She continued, "I have inflicted more damage (on her daughter) than I could've ever imagined."
Huffman also said, "I was frightened, I was stupid and I was so wrong. I am deeply ashamed of what I have done."
12:05 PM PT -- Prosecutors are not pulling any punches, demanding Felicity get a month behind bars. They've also looped Huffman's daughters into their argument, saying Felicity showed little confidence in her children's academic ability and that they should be angry at their mom.
As for the $20,000 fine and community service punishment Felicity's legal team suggested? Prosecutors say it amounts to nothing considering Huffman is worth tens of millions and enjoys doing community service.
Felicity Huffman's time to face the music has arrived ... she just showed up to court to go before the judge and learn her fate after pleading guilty in the college admissions bribery scandal.
Felicity marched into court with her husband, William H. Macy. She looked stoic, but all signs point to an extremely light sentence ... and she could get no jail time at all.
Prosecutors want the "Desperate Housewives" star to spend a month behind bars for paying $15k to rig her daughter's SAT test. The Probation Dept. has suggested no time behind bars is appropriate, because no one suffered a loss as a result of Felicity's actions.
Our bet ... 30 days house arrest.
It's interesting ... prosecutors have retreated in a big way ... they initially wanted a minimum of 4 months, but reduced it to 1 in the face of the probation report. Prosecutors explained the change by saying the amount of time doesn't matter, as long as there's a message that similar wrongdoers will get some time. Even prosecutors don't believe that -- not the way it works.
MAY 13, 2019
Regardless of the sentence, it doesn't change the fact Felicity pled guilty to conspiracy charges for paying $15k to give her daughter a leg up on her college entrance exam. That means she's now a felon, which means at the very least she can't own a firearm.
Lori Loughlin, on the other hand, chose to fight the charges instead of copping a plea deal. Given Felicity's soft sentence and the Probation Dept. justifying it by saying there was "no actual or intended loss" ... Loughlin may now have the edge.

Backpack donations are kinda becoming Meek's thing ... last year, he helped pass out 6,000 backpacks at James G. Blaine elementary.

Tim Tebow Rails Against Paying College Athletes ... Rips 'Selfish Culture'
-
Breaking News
- 6.4K shares
Someone check Tim Tebow's blood pressure ... the ex-Florida star just went NUCLEAR trashing the new California law allowing college athletes to get paid -- saying it'll ruin NCAA sports forever!!!
"I feel like I have a little credibility and knowledge about this because when I was at the University of Florida, I think my jersey was one of the top-selling jerseys around the world.," Tim said.
"It was like Kobe, LeBron and then I was right behind them. I didn't make a dollar from it and nor did I want to because I knew going into college what it was all about."
.@TimTebow passionately expresses his thoughts on the California Senate passing a bill allowing student-athletes to have endorsements. pic.twitter.com/W5uBW7ePNm
— First Take (@FirstTake) September 13, 2019 @FirstTake
There's more ... Tebow is FIRED UP -- but first, a quick review of the new CA law.
It's being called the "Fair Pay to Play Act" and it was passed by the CA State Senate this week, allowing college athletes to be paid for the use of their name, likeness and image without being punished.
California Governor Gavin Newsom now has 30 days to decide whether it will be signed into law -- but the NCAA is fighting like hell to get him to shut it down.
Enter Tebow ... who's taking the side of the NCAA -- going on ESPN's "First Take" to declare war on the 'FPPA.'
Tebow says college should be more about following your dreams and contributing to an institution than trying to make a buck.
"I knew going to Florida, my dream school, where I wanted to go, the passion for it and if I could support my team, support my college, support my University, that's what it's all about."
"But now, we're changing it from 'Us' from 'We' from 'My University' from being an alumni where I care, which makes college football and college sports special, to then 'Okay it's not about us. It's not about we, it's just about me.'"
"And, yes, I know we live in a selfish culture where it's all about us but we're just adding and piling it onto that. Where it changes, what's special about college football. We turn it into the NFL, where who has the most money, that's where you go."
Tebow added ... "That's why people are more passionate about college sports than they are about the NFL."
"That's why the stadiums are bigger in college than they are in the NFL, because it's about your team, it's about your university, it's about where my family wanted to go, it's about where my grandfather had a dream of seeing Florida win an SEC championship and you're taking that away."
"And, you're taking that away so that young kids can earn a dollar and that's just not where I feel college football needs to go."
The issue with Tebow's point ... obviously ... is that to a lot of players, earning a dollar is more important than contributing to the legacy of an already rich University.
Tebow -- who came from an already financially stable family -- went on to earn millions of dollars in the NFL and other endeavors.
A huge amount of NCAA athletes don't have that financial stability or promises of fortunes waiting for them after college.
Appreciate the passion, though.

Tyson Fury Money's Overrated 'I've Never Met a Happy Millionaire'

Tyson Fury says he doesn't give a DAMN about money -- telling TMZ Sports he's not boxing for the paycheck because he's never met one single happy millionaire.
"I know a lot of millionaires and I don't know one happy one. Not one," Fury said.
"They're always unhappy because they're searching for more. Material stuff or money will never make a man happy. Man has got to find happiness deep within his soul."
So, why are we talking money with Fury?
He's fighting undefeated Otto Wallin on Saturday -- and if he wins that fight, Tyson says next up is a rematch with Deontay Wilder ... which comes with a MASSIVE PAYDAY.
But, Tyson tells TMZ Sports the money ain't the motivator ... it's deeper than that.
"I'd rather have the victory than money, that's what I'm gunning for. I'm not gunning for his belt, I'm not gunning for the paycheck ... I'm going for his blood."
Fury continued, "It's not about money at all. When you're comfortable in your life, what do a few zeroes mean really anyway?"
"Money's one thing, but you're talking to a KING -- El Rey de los Gitanos!! I am the Gypsy King! The real official Gypsy King!"
Fury says he has millionaires and billionaires lining up to be his friend because they want to be close to greatness ... but he doesn't care because money can't buy happiness.
"Life isn't all about money. Life's about love, passion and being happy. And, if we can do that, if humans can ever do that, then we've cracked it!"

Lori Loughlin In the Market for a Break ... In College Admissions Scandal

Lori Loughlin's going about her normal routine ... just hours before getting an enormous clue about her fate in the college admissions scandal.
Lori was doing a little shopping Thursday at Ralphs in Westwood when a photog asked how she's doing, offering some words of support. Lori was mum, but there's reason for her to think things are looking up.
As we reported, in Felicity Huffman's case, the Probation Dept. wrote a report saying zero jail time would be appropriate since "There was no actual or intended loss." In other words, no one suffered as a result of Felicity paying $15k to rig her daughter's SAT test. What's so important here ... the Probation Dept. said there was no "intended" loss. Fact is ... even if she intended her daughter to get into a college and displace another student, the Probation Dept. doesn't think that's a "loss." That bodes well for Lori.
Felicity's sentencing hearing is Friday afternoon. If we are the betting kind -- and we are -- we'd put our money on 30 days of house arrest.

Mac Miller left behind some very valuable property, including millions of dollars in master recordings.
Mac's estate filed new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, which list some of his assets. Among them ... nearly $5 million in master recording assets, $1.5 mil in music royalties, and $180k in Mac Miller LLC.
The docs also reveal Mac had an extensive jewelry collection, which includes a $31k 18 karat Presidential bracelet, a $20k Rolex and another $14k Cuban link necklace.
He also left behind $20k in household furniture, $15k worth of electronics and a 2009 BMW 5 Series valued just over $6k.
In all, the items total around $7 million.
SEPTEMBER 2019
TMZ broke the story ... Mac died from a lethal combination of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol on September 7, 2018. His assistant found him unresponsive on his bed in a "praying position" at his L.A. home.
Last week, charges came down against 28-year-old Cameron James Pettit, whom the feds allege supplied Mac with counterfeit oxycodone pills that contained fentanyl in a new 42-page criminal complaint out of the Central District of California.
Per the docs, prosecutors claim Mac had asked Pettit for "percs" -- short for percocet, a prescribed painkiller full of oxycodone -- and that the dealer ended up supplying the pills that contributed to Mac's accidental overdose death last year.
Mac was just 26 when he died.

Felicity Huffman Probation Dept. Says No One Was Hurt ... So No Big Deal
-
Exclusive Details
- 5.7K shares
1:33 PM PT -- We just got the Probation Dept's sentencing report, and the reason the Department thinks no time behind bars is fine is because there is NO VICTIM. The report is clear ... no one lost a penny as a result of Felicity hiring someone to rig the SAT test. The Dept. repeatedly rebuffed prosecutors who claim various forms of loss, including emotional distress, harm to the reputation of the schools, etc.
This may be the most important sentence, especially for defendants like Lori Loughlin -- "There was no actual or intended loss." The word "intended" is significant, because presumably Felicity wanted to get her daughter into a university -- something that could displace another applicant -- yet the Probation Dept. didn't feel that was an INTENDED loss. This could help Lori argue there was no loss in her case as well.
Felicity Huffman wants to make it clear to the judge sentencing her -- what she did in the college case didn't hurt anyone, and therefore there's no precedent to put her in prison for even a day.
Sources directly familiar with Felicity's case tell TMZ ... the "Desperate Housewives" actress and her defense team have 2 arguments for her to spend no time behind bars, despite prosecutors recommending a 1-month sentence.
We're told Felicity and co. are pointing to the Probation Department's findings that she should get as little as zero months, because nobody suffered any loss due to her actions. You'll recall, Felicity pled guilty to conspiracy charges for paying $15k to give her daughter a leg up on her college entry exam.
Obviously, Felicity agrees with that "no loss" argument put forth by the probation department. However, in new court docs obtained by TMZ, she also says the prosecution is drawing unfair comparisons between her and other defendants in the case.
According to team Felicity ... the prosecution has cited 2 dozen old cases in which prison time was often handed down to the ring leaders. Felicity says she wasn't the big fish in this scheme, and shouldn't be sentenced like one. In short, she was just a customer of Rick Singer, not a mastermind of his plot.
She cites one case the prosecution is attempting to use as precedent ... where a guy got prison time for hacking a university's system. Felicity says that's an apples to oranges comparison.
Bottom line ... Felicity is hoping the judge recognizes she didn't harm anyone -- especially because her kid didn't even end up attending college this year.

T. Boone Pickens -- the super charismatic billionaire known as the "Oracle of Oil" -- has died at age 91, a spokesperson confirms.
Pickens reportedly died peacefully Wednesday of natural causes at his home in Texas.
You may know T. Boone for being one of the successful oil tycoons in history. You may know him for the BILLIONS he donated to charity.
And, if you're a college football fan, you might know him because the stadium at Oklahoma State University is NAMED after him! In fact, over the years, T. Boone raved about OSU to TMZ Sports!
He told us back in the day the best part of having a stadium named after him is "I'll always have a seat!"
Pickens made his fortune in energy -- he started working in oil after graduating from OSU in 1951 (with a degree in geology) and ultimately built Mesa Petroleum, which he grew into one of the largest gas and oil companies in the U.S. He became a BILLIONAIRE in the '80s.
He later honed his talents as a corporate raider -- and made TONS of money buying out companies. In 1996, he started BP Capital Management, which was also wildly successful.
As for his philanthropic work, he reportedly donated more $1 BILLION to various causes during his lifetime.
Pickens famously donated more than $500 MIL to Oklahoma State -- and the funds were almost evenly divided between OSU's athletics and academics.
Another interesting note ... Pickens had pledged to donate 90% of his net worth to charity upon his death.
Nobody knows exactly how much Pickens was worth -- or where the funds will go -- but should be VERY interesting to see how that shakes out.
He's survived by 5 children, 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Pickens had been married 5 times during his lifetime ... but was not married when he died. He had reportedly been rekindling his relationship with wife #3 Nelda toward the end of his life.
Pickens was also famous for being a host to the most powerful people in the world at his 65,000-acre ranch in Texas ... including George W. Bush, Nancy Reagan, Dick Cheney, Ted Turner and more.
Pickens also penned his 1987 biography, "Boone," and 2008's "The First Billion is the Hardest."
