3:40 PM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell us Ruiz was arrested for a felony -- supplying narcotics to someone who dies.

3:15 PM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell us the person arrested 23-year-old Donovan Ruiz. Our sources say Ruiz was taken into custody in connection with the overdose death of a Ventura County resident in mid-September. Ruiz lives at Cher's home.

Cher's mansion is the scene of what looks like an emergency -- there's been a massive response from cops, firefighters and paramedics -- but it's not a life or death situation ... TMZ has learned.

According to law enforcement sources ... the Ventura County Sheriff's Dept. executed a search warrant Thursday at the Malibu home, and arrested someone for a drug-related offense. We're told the suspect is the son of one of Cher's assistants.

Witnesses tell us several patrol cars are on the scene, along with a fire truck and an ambulance. We're told the paramedics were there because cops were concerned violence might erupt during the arrest.

We know Cher is NOT at home ... she's on tour and has a show scheduled in Australia.

Post Malone's catching his breath after racing to the studio to collaborate on a track that'll be added to Lil Wayne's forever-anticipated "Tha Carter V" album.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ ... Weezy reached out to the "Rockstar" rapper earlier this week and, at the 11th hour, asked him to be a featured rapper. We're told Post Malone said -- not in so many words -- "DUH!!" and raced to the studio to get it done. He's a huge Lil Wayne fan, obvi.

We're told Post Malone finished his part Wednesday night and the track is being mixed just in time for Wayne's long-awaited album release ... slated to drop at 9 PM PT Thursday.

Our sources say the track featuring Post will be the last one added to the album, which was, as you well know by now, held hostage for years.

As we reported ... the entire world saw Sept. 21 come and go without 'Carter V' dropping, and sources close to Weezy's camp told us that date was news to them since Weezy never once said he was dropping the album on that day. It was pure speculation from fans that triggered different theories.

Wayne set the record straight with a countdown on his website pointing to the final release date. The clock's literally ticking ... just in the nick of time for Post Malone.

9/27 6:36 PM PT -- The full list of items taken after the search of Dillinger's home include "5 cigarillo packets containing suspected marijuana, 2 grinders, mason jar with suspected marijuana, 10 THC vaporizer capsules, the container with the suspected THC honey, and the THC grape drink" ... according to the Cobb County Police report.

Daz Dillinger got busted for allegedly having a bunch of weed in his Georgia home ... and now he's facing multiple felony charges.

Tha Dogg Pound rapper was arrested Tuesday just before midnight at his place in Powder Springs -- about 20 miles outside the ATL. Cops say they found a total of 117 grams of marijuana in his residence ... including in several cigarillo packets and a green mason jar.

Daz allegedly also had 10 THC pods, THC oil, a THC vaporizer ... and a container in his home studio labeled "Cannabis Lean." Cops say the label on the bottle described it as a grape drink laced with cannabis.

He was hauled off to jail in Cobb Country, where he was booked on 12 counts of possession of a controlled substance, and 1 count of possession of more than one ounce of marijuana.

Daz's bond's set at $15k. We're told he's still in jail, waiting to see the judge.

You may recall ... Dillinger had some different issues with police back in early May, after he put a call out to the Crips to "f**k Kanye up" over his favorable comments about President Trump.

Daz claimed cops hassled him over the Kanye threat and we were told they were looking into it ... but it was eventually deemed no big deal.

It's interesting ... last week Daz posted a video where he basically danced on Suge Knight's grave, hours after the ex-rap mogul was sentenced to 28 years in prison.

AJ McLean has all but signed up to be Demi Lovato's sponsor when she finishes up with rehab ... and he's got an entire plan laid out for her if she's listening.

We got the Backstreet Boy leaving Craig's in WeHo Tuesday night and wanted to know if he has some advice for Demi on how she can stay on the right path once she's out of rehab. Remember, AJ's been open about his addiction in the past and he's been on the straight and narrow path ever since.

It's interesting ... our photog asks if he thinks the prison sentence was too long, or if Cosby should've gotten house arrest instead. Stevie's answer seems to imply that he doesn't believe BC should've been thrown behind bars ... despite his long list of accusations.

Rihanna's crib is becoming a regular route for cops, who rushed there for a break-in late Tuesday night -- the second time someone illegally entered the home this year.

Police responded to RiRi's Hollywood Hills home after an alarm went off around 10:30 PM PT. Neighbors told police they saw as many as 3 suspects fleeing in a silver vehicle after the alarm was triggered.

LAPD swarmed to her house -- and we're told it's unclear if they made off with any loot -- but police say Rihanna was not home at the time.

This is the second break-in and the third time police have responded to her home in force this year.

Her house was burglarized in May, when a man had spent the night. He allegedly told cops he was waiting to have sex with the singer. The suspect was charged with felony stalking and burglary shortly after.

And, you'll recall ... cops also raced to the house just last month after her alarm was accidentally triggered.

Looks like her alarm system got it right this time around. Time to follow in Kendall's footsteps, Ri?

Childish Gambino's foot injury must be severe ... 'cause he's postponed his upcoming concert.

Wednesday's show at The Forum in Inglewood, CA has been rescheduled ... and a new date has not been announced.

As we reported ... Childish Gambino injured his foot and cut short his Sunday concert in Dallas ... and he's been spotted in a wheelchair and leg brace during his This is America tour.

Wednesday's postponement is bad news for the singer's fans ... 'cause he's been saying this is his last concert tour ever.

If Cardi B wants her own set for the Super Bowl halftime show ... GIVE CARDI B HER OWN SET ... so says Miguel, who tells TMZ Sports she'd KILL it if given the chance.

Nicki Minaj has paid up her promised $25,000 to former 'Cosby Show' actor Geoffrey Owens, and he's taking the money ... and paying it forward.

Sources tell us Nicki's team recently reached out and sent a check to Owens. You'll remember, Nicki vowed on her 'Queen Radio' show to give him $25k in response to someone attempting to shame him with a pic of him working at Trader Joe's.

Owens made the decision to donate the money, in full, to a cause near and dear to his heart and acting career.

Geoffrey tells us, "I would like to give this donation of 25k to the Actor’s Fund in memory of the late, great Earle Hyman -- who played Cosby’s father, ‘Russell’, on “The Cosby Show” -- who lived his last many years and died at the Actors’ Home, (funded and run by the Actor’s Fund).
