'Bachelorette' Star Tyler Cameron Family Plans to Honor Late Mom with New Charity Org

Published | Updated

Tyler Cameron's family wants to honor their late mother by starting a foundation in her honor ... and they're hoping to seed the organization with some crowdfunding.

The 'Bachelorette' star's brother launched a GoFundMe campaign just days after their mother, Andrea Hermann Cameron, died of a brain aneurysm at a hospital in Jupiter, Florida. She was rushed to a hospital after suffering the aneurysm, and died 2 days later.

Tyler's brother, Austin, says, "We feel compelled to honor our mother. We are developing a charitable foundation so that she can continue to impact others as she has always done."

He went on to say, "We feel this is the best way to continue her legacy of giving." Andrea regularly volunteered with multiple charity groups, and visited retirement homes to deliver presents around the holidays.

The campaign's goal is to raise $20,000. It's nearly halfway there after just one day.

As we reported ... Tyler was seen distraught in the wake of his mom's sudden passing.

The day after she died, Tyler posted a heartfelt tribute ... a photo of him and his 2 brothers holding her hand -- apparently in the hospital -- saying, "Heaven gained an angel."

Andrea was 55.

THE WORLD HATES ME

"Love Is Blind" star Carlton Morton says he's getting some much-needed therapy after a 911 call from his home following his cry for help over social media.

We got Carlton at Drip Coffee Shop in Atlanta Thursday and our guy asked how he's holding up after catching tons of flak online, and a very public meltdown.

As you know ... Carlton's claim to fame on "Love Is Blind" is not telling Diamond he was bisexual until AFTER they got engaged, leading to an epic spat.

Authorities tell TMZ ... someone at Carlton's Atlanta home called 911 for a non-life threatening injury hours after his scary social media post, and he was transported to a hospital. Carlton tells us someone wanted to check up on him.

Carlton says he's seeing a therapist in hopes of improving his mental health and tells us he's getting death threats on the daily, and feels like the world hates him.

Carlton has lots of regrets, and he's second-guessing a bunch of decisions ... from how he showed Diamond his true colors, to even going on the reality show in the first place.

Carlton's also got a message for his fans, and for his haters.

Nik Wallenda Tightrope Walks Across Volcano!!! Wife Pulls Off Own Stunt

Published | Updated

It seemed impossible ... but Nik Wallenda did the improbable ... walking all the way across a very active volcano and balancing the entire way on a tightrope.

The view looking down on the scorching-hot lava lake was incredible, and it was broadcast live on ABC from the Masaya Volcano in Nicaragua.

Nik somehow managed the 1,800-foot trek across the mouth of the volcano, tightrope walking 2,000 feet above the deadly lava and through strong winds.

You'll recall ... Nik told us last week about his logistical concerns for the volcano, explaining why the acidic volcanic gasses could pose a very real threat to the wire. Walking over a volcano is obviously super-hot too, but Nik was oddly less concerned about the heat.

As it turns out ... the gasses rusted out the tightrope wire in the two weeks leading up to Wednesday's stunt, but it actually benefited Nik by giving him more traction. He also wore a gas mask.

Remember ... Nik told us on "TMZ Live" Monday he was worried about getting in the zone for the volcano stunt because his wife, Erendira, was also putting her life on the line with her own deadly stunt above the same volcano.

Erendira did an aerial ballet suspended above the lava lake, wearing a mask to protect her from the toxic fumes swirling below, with Nik keeping a close eye on her at all times.

Nik said his wife actually gave him a scouting report after her stunt, and assured him he would be fine.

It took just over 31 minutes for Nik to cross the volcano and make history ... pretty incredible.

Nik's now tightrope walked over Times Square, Niagara Falls and a volcano. Amazing!!!

Alex Trebek I Almost Gave Up on Life ... During My Cancer Treatment

Published | Updated
Alex Trebek
I WON'T STOP FIGHTING

Alex Trebek says he almost gave up on life during his battle with cancer, but he's glad he didn't and is celebrating a huge milestone.

The beloved "Jeopardy!" host just gave an update on his health, and there's good news. The one-year survival rate for stage 4 pancreatic cancer is only 18%, but Alex just crossed the 1-year mark!!!

He says he's had good days and bad days and joked that he tells friends the cancer won't kill him but the chemo probably will. He says he's experienced great pain and many of his bodily functions went haywire.

Most ominous ... Alex says he had extreme bouts of depression during his treatments "that made me wonder if it was really worth fighting on." Scary words, but he says he realized giving up on life would be a betrayal to his wife, God and other cancer patients.

As you know ... Trebek is in the midst of the fight of his life, battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Last May, Alex revealed his tumors had shrunk by more than 50 percent, and in September he announced he was undergoing more chemotherapy.

Though the past year's been incredibly trying, he's been hanging in there and fulfilling his hosting duties as planned ... possibly better than ever too.

This included January's 'Greatest of All Time' tournament, which really seemed to lift his spirits, and he's showing no signs of slowing down.

In fact, our "Jeopardy!" sources tell us tickets to the show to see Alex are so hot right now ... they're booked up through April.

Trebek's also been staying busy away from the game show -- he just donated $100k to the Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission to help out with L.A.'s homelessness crisis.

As for the future ... Alex says the 2-year survival rate is only 7%, but his oncologist told him he's sure a year from now the two would be celebrating.

Emmy Rossum Transforms Into Angelyne ... Pink Corvette Included

Published | Updated

Emmy Rossum is looking more and more like Hollywood icon Angelyne -- but it seems like it's taking a lot of magic in the dressing room and makeup trailer to get there.

The "Shameless" actress was seen Tuesday on set filming for the new Peacock show, "Angelyne," named after its titular lead. She definitely looks the part, with the help of a couple prosthetics.

She also had on a ton of makeup (like the real Angelyne would wear) ... and, of course, the massive blonde wig to really sell the look. She certainly passes as her -- even posing on the signature pink Corvette here for the full effect -- but frankly, she's not a dead ringer.

In case this is the first time you're hearing the name itself, allow us to school you in Hollywood lore for a minute here. Angelyne is a singer, actress, personality and all-around Hollywood socialite who mysteriously splashed onto the L.A. scene back in the '80s.

At first, she became famous from a series of massive billboards showing her posing on top of a pink 'Vette ... with only her name featured in giant lettering -- ANGELYNE. She later started getting booked for this, that and the other ... concealing her true identity for years.

The woman made a career of just being that ... big, flashy, seductive and iconic. People say she's like the OG Kim Kardashian. Looks like her story's coming to the small screen sooner than later.

Mischa Barton Not Coming Back for 'Hills' Season 2 ... Production Sources Say She's Too Boring

Published | Updated

Mischa Barton won't be back for Season 2 of the 'Hills' reboot -- we've learned she's being replaced with someone who's got more spunk ... and a few more Hollywood stories too.

Sources familiar with the production tell TMZ ... Mischa wasn't asked to come back for the new season of 'The Hills: New Beginnings' -- in fact, we're told she's the only one who isn't returning to reprise her role ... everyone else is slated to make a comeback.

The reason ... our sources say producers found Mischa's story line a bit bland, and her personality a little boring. Bottom line, she wasn't bringing much drama to the show.

Now, who MTV brass think will add a little much-needed juice ... the one and only Caroline D'Amore -- the D'Amore's Pizza heir-turned-DJ and one-time Tinseltown socialite. Caroline used to party it up with Kim K and Paris Hilton back in the day, so she's been around the block.

As for Mr. Brody Jenner -- who was part of the OG cast -- he'll be coming back with a much heavier wallet than he started out with. We're told he held out 'til the bitter end, and walked away with a pretty sweet deal ... our sources say he scored around $50k an episode.

New beginnings ... and at least one new face. Bring on that 2000s nostalgia!!!

Mama June's Kids Plastic Surgery For Anna and Jessica ... From Not To Hot?!?

Published | Updated

Mama June's kids are following suit in going from not to hot ... because we've learned they recently went under the knife for a slew of plastic surgeries.

Sources close to the family tell TMZ ... two of June's kids, Anna Cardwell and Jessica Shannon, ventured to Los Angeles Friday for extensive cosmetic procedures ... and it cost a small fortune.

Anna's plastic surgeries included a breast lift and implants -- going from a B cup to a D cup -- courtesy of Dr. Michael K. Obeng. She also got 16 veneers from Dr. Aamir Wahab. All told, Anna's tab ran $47,450.

We're told Anna wants to feel good after having two kids and going through a divorce ... and she felt going under the knife in Bev Hills was the way to go.

As for Jessica, our sources say she was 230 lbs and now down to 185 lbs after getting a weight loss balloon in her stomach from Dr. Samuel Kashani. She also got liposuction on her back, flanks and bra area, plus a tummy tuck, all from Dr. Obeng. Jessica's got new teeth too -- 8 veneers from the same doc who operated on Anna.

We're told Jessica wants to be a plus-sized model and meet a man, and she feels the $80,895 surgical makeover will boost her confidence.

Anna and Jessica are now recovering from the procedures at a home in Encino, and when the bandages come off, they'll look a lot different than this pic from last month.

As you know ... Mama underwent an incredible surgical transformation herself and turned it into her own reality show, "Mama June From Not To Hot."

Mama's not looking too hot these days though ... so hopefully, Anna and Jessica don't follow June's exact blueprint.

UPDATE

He adds, "We will love and miss our mother dearly. She will live on through those that she had had an impact on."

Tyler Cameron looks devastated in the wake of a family emergency that has reportedly claimed his mother's life.

TMZ got photos of the former 'Bachelorette' star out Sunday with people we're told looked like close family members. They were dining in Jupiter, Florida at a restaurant called Brass Ring Pub. As you can see ... he appears to be distraught, with a lot on his mind.

At one point, he had his face buried in the palm of his hand. It was a small gathering -- we're told he wasn't drawing attention, and not too many people around even recognized him.

According to reports ... Tyler's mom, Andrea, passed away after being rushed to the hospital Thursday. The ex-reality TV star announced a "family emergency" Friday on social media, saying he'd have to cancel a 'GMA' appearance ... and asked for prayers.

It appears friends of the family are also mourning her apparent death on Facebook, with a few different people sending their condolences to Tyler, his father and his two younger brothers.

He hasn't commented on her status himself just yet. That said, we've been hearing Andrea has indeed passed, but have to yet to definitively confirm it. His rep had no comment.

Tyler and Andrea were incredibly close -- which was well-documented on his social media feed. While she lived in Florida, it looks like she made the trek out to New York back in November to support her son while he ran the NYC Marathon.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

At the time, he wrote ... "So grateful for all of the support that I got from my family, friends, and BN! Couldn’t have done this race with out all of y’all." Andrea herself was a huge supporter of her boy -- and appeared to keep tabs on him during Hannah B's season.

In one photo of them two together, she said of her son ... "I love you Tyler! You are America’s sweetheart!! Thank you for that wonderful experience!!"

She was 55. RIP

Alex Trebek Donates $100k to Homeless Shelter Gets Wing Named After Him

Published | Updated

Alex Trebek proves time and again he's selfless despite his own personal struggles ... this time, lending his hand to L.A.'s desperate homeless crisis.

The beloved game show host donated $100k to the Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission ... a nonprofit focused on preventing, reducing and eliminating poverty, hunger and homelessness. It provides nearly 290k hot meals and 93k nights of safe shelter every year.

Ken Craft, founder and CEO of the org, tells TMZ ... Alex, a modest donor to the org over the years, recently called requesting a tour of a new shelter being built in North Hollywood ... which will house nearly 85 beds, bathrooms, laundry room and a commissary.

Not long after the visit, Alex -- in the midst of battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer -- invited Ken over to his house to talk about the shelter's financial plans. Ken says it was in that meeting when Alex slipped an envelope and said, "I hope this helps a little bit." It was a check for $100k. Naturally, Ken teared up.

Ken says Alex invited him and his wife to a "Jeopardy!" taping ... and during a commercial break, Alex brought them on stage. Ken says Alex told the audience, "I don't normally do this, but I wanted to bring these two people on stage because they are making a difference in L.A."

Alex's contribution will go a long way to footing the bill for hot meals, transportation, on-site medical service. We're told Alex didn't earmark the donation for anything specific ... he just wanted to help fight the homeless battle. Easy to see why Ken says the org will name part of its new shelter after Alex and his wife, Jean.

Alex is one of the most charitable people in Hollywood.  He's not interested in private jets, fabulous vacation houses, etc.  He wants to do good with his money, and donate to a variety of worthy causes.

Just incredible ...

'90 Day Fiance' Star Saves Passed Out, Drowning Man ... Says Friends Stood By!!!

Published | Updated

'90 Day Fiance' star Alex Brovarnik leaped into action and became a real-life superhero while vacationing with his wife, Loren, in the Bahamas ... saving a man from drowning.

The former reality TV star -- whose journey from Israel to the States was documented during season 3 of the show -- was out in Nassau over the weekend when he spotted a clearly intoxicated young man make his way out to the water and begin to go under.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

What happened next was nothing short of incredible ... he literally pulled the guy's limp body back to shore and began trying to help him regain consciousness as a crowd formed. In video of the heroic moment, you can hear the cameraman cheer him on. Rightly so!

Loren wrote of the situation, "My husband was watching a guy who was beyond intoxicated, who was with his 'friends' who just stood there and watched! The man went into the water and about drowned!"

She continued, "We are meant to be in a place in time for a reason! Alex and his friend Sean were meant to be at this beach, at this exact time because if not, who knows what could have happened!" Sounds like the dude eventually came to -- Loren says his life was saved.

Loren and Alex are one of the few success stories from the show. They're married, obviously, and are currently expecting their first child together. Alex also finally got his citizenship all these years later.

Thank goodness he was there. Doesn't look like anyone else was gonna do damn thing 😬

'Love is Blind' Stars Legally Married More Than a Year Umm ... SPOILER ALERT???

Published | Updated

The 2 "Love Is Blind" couples that got married on the season finale didn't do it just for cameras ... they're legit, 'cause we got receipts.

This is where we drop those magic words -- SPOILER ALERT -- just in case ya haven't gotten to the big finish yet for the Netflix series.

If you did, then you know Matt Barnett and Amber Pike, and Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed all said "I do". Of course, y'know how reality TV works ... sometimes they do things just for show -- but that's not the case here. We checked with the Fulton County Court in Atlanta, and a rep tells us they do indeed have marriage records for BOTH couples.

Matt and Amber got married on November 13, 2018. Cameron and Lauren followed 3 days later. We know what you're thinking -- considering the marriages are a shot in the dark, we also checked divorce records and came up with nada.

As rabid fans of the hit Netflix show know by now ... Matt, Amber, Cameron and Lauren were the only couples who agreed on marriage when the highly-anticipated season finale dropped. Sorry, Mark Cuevas.

Anyway, there's a reunion slated for March 5, which is likely when the foursome will reveal they've been real-life married people.

Mazel tov!!! Twice.

Mama June and Geno Hangin' at the Hard Rock ... Chowin' Down on Fries

Published

Mama June and Geno are still going strong, to the clear dismay of her family.

The couple was hanging out at the food court in the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Florida Casino and Hotel Friday night. FYI, it's the same hotel where Anna Nicole Smith died back in 2007.

They ordered a mountain of french fries and went to town on the greasy potato strips.

Eyewitnesses say Mama June was standoffish, but Geno seemed happy somebody recognized him. They weren't staying at the hotel — they were staying somewhere in nearby Boca Raton.

As we've reported ... the troubled reality TV star's been looking the worse for wear lately while on the road with her boyfriend, Geno Doak. Her family's been desperate for her to leave him and get help, but so far ... they haven't had any luck convincing her.

To make matters worse, the couple's been hard up for money. June recently pawned a diamond ring and sold her house for way under value. She and Geno also got booted from a hotel over an unpaid bill.

Barbara Corcoran Not This Shark, Scammers!!! Gets Her $388k Back

Published | Updated

Take note, cyber crooks ... Barbara Corcoran is no easy win!!! Amazingly, The "Shark Tank" star has $388k back in her account, just 3 days after scammers managed to snatch it away.

Barbara tells TMZ the money was re-deposited into her NY bank account Friday, but she needed the help of a German bank to get it back. We broke the story, Barbara's bookkeeper had the wool pulled over her eyes by several hoax emails which instructed her to deposit $388,700.11 in an account in Berlin.

The scammers had used a German bank account because it was part of their cover story. You'll recall, their emails claimed the money was part of Barbara's investment into German apartments.

After we published our story, we're told the German bank got wind of the hoax, and froze the account before the money could be forwarded to Asia. Remember, Barbara's IT people traced the emails to a Chinese IP address.

Barbara tells us her NY bank was also involved in pressuring zee Germans, and she believes our story added to that pressure.

Bottom line is ... Barbara's bottom line is intact.

You've been warned, Nigerian princes -- Corcoran ain't the one!!!
