'Selling Sunset' Stars Brett & Davina Back Despite Exiting Firm ... Netflix Green Lit Seasons 4 & 5!!!

Published | Updated

The "thirsty bitches" are back!!! Netflix has given "Selling Sunset" the green light for seasons 4-5 ... and even though stars Brett Oppenheim and Davina Potratz left the brokerage firm for greener pastures, cameras will still be rolling on their pretty mugs.

Production sources tell TMZ ... Brett and Davina will be part of the hit series when season 4 filming gets underway in Spring 2021 despite Brett leaving the family biz to start his own shop and Davina bolting last month to rival Douglas Elliman in Beverly Hills.

It's unclear if cameras will be following them inside their new joints but one thing's for sure ... our sources say cameras will continue to follow their storylines, which is mostly tame when it comes to Brett but definitely fiery -- and even catty -- as it relates to Davina. For the newbies ... she's usually the center of the drama revolving the gorgeous real estate agents, but the drama -- and the fake drama alike -- is definitely NOT exclusive to Davina.

Speaking of the ladies ... Christine Quinn -- who back in September referred to the cast as "thirsty bitches" -- and the rest of the gang are all back. We're told Christine, Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, Maya Vander, Heather Rae Young and Amanza Smith ... along with Jason Oppenheim and Mary's beau, Romain Bonnet, all finalized their deals last week.

Our sources say Netflix ordered a good chunk of episodes for the next 2 seasons ... though at this point filming will begin only once logistics can be figured out on how to safely film such a large cast/crew amid the coronavirus pandemic.

'Wipeout' Contestant Dies After Completing Course

Published | Updated

A "Wipeout" contestant is dead after being hospitalized following a go at the obstacle course ... TMZ has learned.

Production sources tell TMZ ... a male contestant needed medical attention Wednesday after completing the course, and he was tended to by on-site emergency personnel who then called paramedics.

We're told the contestant was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

Our law enforcement sources tell us they got a cardiac arrest call just before noon Wednesday, and medics on set had already started using a defibrillator on the contestant, who was experiencing chest pains after completing the course.

We're told there are precautions and safeguards in place on set. For example, every 'Wipeout' contestant undergoes medical exams before participating. There are also 2 paramedics on-site, plus a safety producer and paramedic coordinator.

'Wipeout' is getting an upcoming reboot on TBS after originally airing on ABC from 2008 to 2014, and TBS tells us ... "We are devastated to have learned of his passing and our deepest sympathy goes out to the family."

The production company, Endemol Shine North America, says ... "We offer our heartfelt condolences to the family and our thoughts are with them at this time."

Alex Trebek Recorded Special 'Jeopardy!' Opener ... Marks World Pancreatic Cancer Day

I WANT YOU TO BE SAFE

Alex Trebek's heroism has never been more evident than it will be on tonight's episode of "Jeopardy!" -- it features a bittersweet message he made just for this day.

When the late host recorded the episode airing Thursday night he opened it by recognizing World Pancreatic Cancer Day ... but didn't make it about himself. Instead, Alex urged his audience to be wary of symptoms and get tested.

What's remarkable about his heartfelt plea isn't just the content, but it's clear from the raspiness in Alex's voice how much he was struggling at the time the episode was shot.

TMZ broke the story ... Alex died earlier this month after his long battle with stage-4 pancreatic cancer, but continued working up until about 10 days before he passed. The episodes he recorded will run through Christmas Day.

Knowing that, it makes Alex's message that much more poignant, important ... and heartbreaking. It should also be the wake-up call he intended it to be.

'Jersey Shore' Star Angelina $20k for Butt Lift Sessions ... All Signs Point to Single?!?

Published | Updated

If you thought "Jersey Shore" star Angelina Pivarnick was single again, you may be right ... because we got the price tag for her new booty, and it screams READY TO MINGLE!

TMZ has learned Angelina dropped $21,600 on a series of butt lift procedures from a go-to doc she and some of the other 'JS' cast members have used in recent years -- one Dr. Tutela, who tells us he's administered three "Bandaid" sessions thus far. That's a helluva lot of dough to spend sprucing up one's caboose, FWIW.

As you can see ... the treatments are working for Angie -- her rear is, indeed, shaping up quite nicely. BTW, Dr. Tutela says the vials he's been shooting her up with are pricey -- about $600-$700 each -- and Angelina has gotten 12 vials per session! Something's definitely afoot ... no ifs, ands or butts about it.

Well, there's a few butts actually.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Here's the deal ... Angelina's been looking very much so like a non-married woman lately on social media -- even though she's hitched to Chris Larangeira and has been since November 2019. There's lots of pics of her and her girlfriends lately, but not so many with her hubby in frame. That's led folks to speculate they've already split up.

Based on how much she's spent on this new look of hers, that might be the case.

Oh, and we should mention ... Angelina is NOT shy about the fact she's gotten these butt procedures done. In fact, she's documented a lot of it -- and it sounds like it'll be a major topic of discussion on the new season that's debuting this fall.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Anyway, if it is true that she's unattached ... we're sure that new ass is gonna help a ton. Good luck!

Kellyanne Conway 16-Y-O Daughter Claudia Trying Out for 'American Idol'?!?

A SHOT AT STARDOM

Kellyanne Conway seems to be on her way out at the White House, but she could still ride the coattails of her 16-year-old daughter ... who might be the next "American Idol!"

Claudia Conway just teased the fact that she's trying out for the reality singing competition show -- posting a video on TikTok in which she says she's about to audition and was in the process of filming her confessional. Claudia also says she's already met Seacrest 👀.

In her brief clip, Claudia turns the camera around and sure enough ... there's a film crew there. You can also see the 'Idol' logo behind her in what appears to be a soundstage setting -- so yeah, it seems legit. Word is 'AI' is, in fact, filming right now -- out here in Cali, no less.

A couple things about this ... for starters, welcome back to TikTok, kid!!! Remember, it looked like Claudia got grounded from using the app a little while ago after spilling alleged tea on Trump's COVID diagnosis, which her mom did NOT like ... as we saw first-hand.

Waiting for your permission to load TikTok Post.

Looks like Claudia's been back online for a minute now -- but the other question this brings up ... who the hell knew she could sing?!? While we mostly see Claudia lip-syncing and dancing to songs on TikTok -- like so many other users -- she actually has some videos of herself where she shows off her pipes. We gotta say ... she ain't half bad!!!

Now that she's 16 and meets the minimum criteria to try out ... it seems Claudia's gonna get some face time with Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan and Katy Perry soon enough here. Considering her rebellious streak, you also gotta wonder if mama bear knows about this 😅.

Anyhoo, something tells us she's got a TV career in the making -- and we might very well be seeing her get some air time when the new 'Idol' season kicks off next year. Stay tuned!

Kate Gosselin It's Kate Plus $1.3 Million Now!!! Sells Reality Show Home

Published

Kate Gosselin is saying goodbye to the house where her 8 children grew up ... often in front of reality TV cameras.

Kate's found a buyer for her 23-acre estate in Pennsylvania, which became the setting of the TLC show "Jon & Kate Plus 8" after the couple bought the 6-bed, 7-bath pad in 2008 for $1.1 million.

The show later became just "Kate Plus 8" after she and Jon divorced, but she continued to live on the gorgeous property with her twins and sextuplets -- who, BTW, are now 20 and 16 years old respectively! Feeling old?

As you can see ... the 7,591-square-foot home -- about 70 miles outside Philly -- comes with a swimming pool and picturesque scenery. The pool also has a waterslide, and there's a nice patio and outdoor spa and kitchen.

The inside of the house features a chef's kitchen, fireplace, game room and a separate "man cave."

And, shout out to Jon ... the 3-car garage has its own private living quarters -- the perfect spot for an ex-spouse to crash, if needed.

The sale is pending, so not officially sold yet ... but it's just a matter of days before the $1.3 mil deal is finalized. Joey Frey of RE/MAX handled the listing.

'Big Brother' Alum Marcellas It's About Damn Time, CBS!!! Diversity Pledge a Good Start, But ...

Published

One of the most famous houseguests in "Big Brother" history says CBS committing to casting more people of color on reality shows is coming way too late, but adds ... it doesn't have to be too little.

Marcellas Reynolds was the first Black gay man on 'BB' way back in its third season in 2002, and he tells us he's shocked it took the network this long to address what he calls inherent biases on so many of its hit shows ... including "Survivor" and "Amazing Race."

Reynolds says CBS is on the right track now, but a pledge to have unscripted show casts that are 50 percent Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) isn't good enough.

The reality show alum says more focus needs to be put on making sure there's proper representation behind the camera. He says until this happens, those biases will remain ... and true diversity won't be achieved in the stories being told.

The good news -- CBS did touch on this subject as part of its diversity pledge, vowing to also commit at least 25 percent of its unscripted budget to projects created by minorities ... and set a target of 40 percent BIPOC representation in writers' rooms.

Marcellas really stresses the positive impact this will have on viewers -- especially young viewers from different walks of life who need to see themselves represented.

Published

Vinny Guadagnino's got a reason to fist pump -- a new place to get all of his GTL done after dropping a few mil on a new L.A. pad.

The "Jersey Shore" star dropped a cool $3,510,000 for a slick crib above Sunset Plaza in the Hollywood Hills. The 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom crib features breathtaking panoramic views overlooking West Hollywood, Century City and all the way out to the Pacific Ocean.

Vinny's new 2,685 sq. ft. home is pretty private too ... sitting on a cul-de-sac street.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Each room includes incredible views ... especially the soaking tub in the master suite. There's an awesome picture window showcasing a pool, quaint courtyard and city views.

Seriously ... the place is definitely land mine proof. True GTLers know what's up.

Tomik Der of Ramsey Shilling & Associates held the listing and Feroz Taj of The Agency repped Vinny.

Ice-T Tackling Police, Racism Head-On ... For New 'SVU' Season

Published | Updated

Ice-T says the new season of 'Law & Order: SVU' is living up to its "ripped from the headlines" catchphrase, because it reflects all the police issues so hotly debated this year.

Ice came on "TMZ Live" Wednesday to talk about the premiere of the 22nd season this week, and told us much of what his character, Detective Tutuola, is going through -- not to mention Mariska Hargitay as Detective Benson -- is like looking into a mirror of America's soul.

Police-involved shootings, systemic racism and even the coronavirus pandemic ... they're all part of the new plots. So, yeah ... definitely an art imitating life type of deal, which Ice-T actually appreciates.

He says he's proud to be on a show -- since 2000, BTW -- that isn't afraid to tackle these tough topics. He gives Dick Wolf and the rest of the team major props for keeping the show relevant and up-to-date.

Ice also spoke on the state of affairs in our country as it pertains to these issues -- telling us he sees this new generation as following in the footsteps of great activists before them.

He finds it bizarre that after all these years, we're still coping with the same problems he did 30 years ago -- but Ice says he's hopeful real change is coming.

MSNBC Live Report 'Oh S***, F***!!!' Sorry For On-Air Screwup

CURSE LIKE A SAILOR

NBC's Ken Dilanian is the latest victim of the dreaded hot mic ... unwittingly unleashing a stream of curse words on live TV, but he's got an explanation and an apology.

Here's the deal ... Ken was supposed to be doing a live hit Tuesday on MSNBC about new developments in President Trump's refusal to concede and acknowledge President-Elect Joe Biden, and he cursed as Craig Melvin introduced him.

"Oh, s***, f***," Ken exclaimed while looking down at his phone. MSNBC quickly cut away after the profanity.

Ken's already saying sorry for his on-air gaffe ... he's apologizing for using profanity and says it was a byproduct of technical difficulties. He mistakenly hung up on the control room -- hence the four-letter words -- but didn't realize his mic was still hot.

It's pretty funny, and relatable for folks working remotely during the pandemic. Keep this in mind before your next Zoom meeting.

Alex Trebek 'He Will Forever Be An Inspiration' ... 'Jeopardy!' Pays Tribute

Published | Updated

Alex Trebek is getting a bittersweet send-off from the game show that made him famous ... "Jeopardy!" just said goodbye to the late host with a touching tribute.

"Jeopardy!" executive producer Mike Richards honored Alex before Monday night's episode, pausing to remember Trebek as an inspiring figure and thanking him for everything he did for the show during his long run as host.

REMEMBERING ALEX TREBEK

Mike said Alex "will forever be an inspiration for his constant desire to learn, his kindness and for his love of his family."

As we first told you ... Alex, who was battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer, passed away at his home Sunday morning, surrounded by family and friends.

Alex's death was an enormous loss for "Jeopardy!" staff and crew, as well as his family and millions of fans, Mike said, adding Alex "loved this show and everything it stood for."

Mike reminded viewers Alex was in the studio taping "Jeopardy!" only two weeks ago in October, and Alex hosted episodes that will air through Christmas day.

Before the camera panned to an empty game show stage for a moment of silence, Richards once again thanked Alex on behalf of everyone at the show and his fans.

'Survivor' & 'Big Brother' Reality Show Casts Changing ... 50% People of Color!!!

Published

CBS has heard the calls for more diversity on its hit reality shows ... and it's making a pledge to make it happen.

The network says its unscripted shows -- including the uber-popular "Survivor," "Big Brother" and "Love Island" -- will have casts at least 50 percent Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) beginning with the 2021-22 season.

In addition, CBS vows to commit at least 25 percent of its annual unscripted development budget to projects created or co-created by minorities ... and set a target of 40 percent BIPOC representation in the writers' rooms next year too.

CBS Entertainment Group President & CEO George Cheeks says ... "The reality TV genre is an area that’s especially underrepresented, and needs to be more inclusive across development, casting, production and all phases of storytelling."

Cheeks says the network's diversity pledge is just the first step in discovering new voices for content, and it goes hand-in-hand with a production partnership with the NAACP as well.

As you may know ... CBS has come under fire for racial controversies on its reality programs in recent years, especially with "Big Brother." Houseguests were slammed for making a racially-charged joke about a fellow Asian houseguest in July 2019, and there was an n-word controversy the year before.

Likewise, "Survivor" has taken heat for many years for a lack of diversity among its casts ... and alleged favoritism of white players over minority players.

CBS says its sights are set on changing all of that.

Published | Updated

Bert Belasco -- famous from BET's "Let's Stay Together" -- has died ... TMZ has learned.

Bert's father, Bert Sr., tells us his son's body was found Sunday inside a hotel room in Richmond, VA -- where we're told he was about to start on a project for a new movie role. Bert Sr. says Bert was required to quarantine at the hotel before he could come on set.

While the circumstances of his death are unclear, we do know Bert's girlfriend couldn't get a hold of him and eventually asked hotel staff to check on him. We're told when he was discovered, there was blood on the sheets -- the family is awaiting autopsy results.

'SNL' Hilarious Spoof of Election ... Carrey, Rudolph & Baldwin Mock Trump Defeat

Published | Updated

'SNL' was hilarious Saturday night, as Jim Carrey (Biden), Maya Rudolph (Harris) and Alec Baldwin (Trump) mimicked the candidates, but the most puzzling part ... how did the show find the real-life wardrobe so damn fast!!!

The open began with an exhausted Wolf Blitzer throwing to a mangled John King ... both of whom clearly got very little sleep for the week following election day.

Carrey was hysterical ... saying the wait was like having sex with Sting -- but, as he said, what a release!!!

Maya Rudolph has nailed Kamala Harris' speech patterns, but how on earth did 'SNL' find a replica of the Veep-elect in a New York minute?

And, of course, Alec Baldwin nailed Trump. You gotta see his version of "Macho Man." Wow, the Village People were the winners in this race.

And then, there's the victory lap ... well, Carrey and Rudolph couldn't resist.

Al Roker Reveals Prostate Cancer Diagnosis ... Surgery Set for Next Week

Published | Updated

Al Roker's sharing some scary personal medical news ... he's been diagnosed with prostate cancer, but he's taking aggressive steps to beat it.

The longtime "Today" host and meteorologist announced it Friday morning on the air, and said he's going to undergo surgery next week to have his prostate removed. Al said he learned about the diagnosis on September 30 but shared the news now to explain to viewers why he'll be taking off some time for the surgery and recovery.

Al called it a good-news-bad-news situation, saying, "Good news is we caught it early. Not great news is that it's a little aggressive, so I"m going to be taking some time off to take care of this."

Dr. Vincent Laudone will perform the procedure at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC, and said they decided removing the prostate was the better option over radiation.

66-year-old Roker says he hopes sharing the news will encourage Black men to get screened for a cancer that's very treatable if detected early. Al's been advocating for that since 2013, when he and co-anchor Craig Melvin got prostate exams live on "Today."
