Shameik Moore's studying hard for his role in the upcoming TV series about Wu-Tang Clan ... but he's not yet prepared to win a trivia contest about the iconic hip-hop group.

The actor -- best known so far as the voice of Spider-Man in 'Into the Spider-Verse' -- admits he had a lot to learn when he landed the role of Raekwon in Hulu's "Wu-Tang: An American Saga" ... but it seems he's still got a way to go.

We quizzed Shameik at LAX to see if he can name all the members, and he comes up a few short of the full 10. Check out the video to see who he missed, and before ya laugh ... could you do better?

To be fair, Moore says he's yet to meet the members he forgot, and it's clear he's totally immersed in playing Raekwon ... working closely with the rapper to emulate him as closely as possible.

Shameik also tells us he's become like family to RZA, who's one of the executive producers of the new series.

Soccer icon Michelle Akers says it's absurd to compare the U.S. Women's National Team to the men for 3 reasons: the women make less, have less marketing money ... and still win wayyy more!

The two-time World Cup champ joined us on "TMZ Live" and says the U.S. Women should be paid at least as much as the men, if not MORE, because they've been dominating the sport on a global scale for decades, while the men's team is in a different universe ... just struggling to get into the World Cup tournament most years.  

As you know ... the U.S. Women beat the Netherlands 2-0 Sunday to bring home their fourth World Cup title, sparking a huge debate about equal pay. The women will reportedly bank $260k per player for their big win, while the men would have raked in $1.1 million each if they'd won the whole thing.

Check out the clip ... Michelle not only rails against the huge pay gap, but adds the U.S. Soccer Federation should pour more cash into promoting the women. It's just a smarter investment than the men's team. 

No offense guys, but it's hard to argue with her today. 

Barstool Sports is being sued over its most iconic image -- Sad Roger -- with the guys who allegedly created the shot of Roger Goodell with a clown nose claiming Barstool has been using it without permission. 

The guys behind the suit are Jake Bernier, Kenneth LeMarier and Joseph Bernier ... who claim they created Sad Roger and licensed it to Barstool for a "one-time use in 2015."

The image became the face of Barstool's war against NFL commissioner Roger Goodell when he went after Tom Brady for allegedly deflating footballs during the 2014 NFL season. 

The image was a hit with Stoolies -- many of whom rocked Sad Roger towels at the Patriots 2017 home opener. Sports Illustrated reported Barstool spent $140,000 to give away 70,000 towels that day. 

Barstool has been using the image on shirts, posters and even Christmas ornaments. In fact, New Orleans Saints' head coach, Sean Payton, appeared to wear a Sad Roger shirt after the Saints lost in the NFC championship over a blown non-pass interference call. 

Barstool is still selling the men's shirt under the title, "Clown Tee" for $29.95. 

In their lawsuit, filed Monday in federal court in New York, the alleged creators claim Barstool never got permission to use the image after that one-time usage license in 2015 ... and  they're pissed. 

The guys claim they're entitled to $150,000 for every time Barstool infringed on their copyright -- though they haven't specified exactly how much money they want from the suit. 

We reached out to Barstool for comment -- so far, no word back. 

Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid let the cat out of the bag that they're dating by snuggling at a UK festival show -- but we've learned before they cozied up to music, they played their own music.

Sources connected to the couple tell TMZ ... Anwar and Dua are, in fact, dating, and things started with a mutual appreciation of their respective musical talents. We're told Anwar had relayed he was a fan of Dua -- a friend of his sister, Gigi -- and she was actually a fan of his too.

Dua is a huge pop star, and as it turns out ... Anwar dabbles in his own tunes as well. Our sources say Dua peeped his new album, "Bleach," this year and told him she dug it.

Well, we're told things really started to snowball around early June when Anwar caught wind that Dua had broken up with her BF, and reached out to her for a date. Our sources say the 2 went out, had a good time and liked each other enough to run it back.  

After that, we're told Anwar invited Dua to his 20th birthday party around mid-June -- where eyewitnesses tell us it was obvious to everyone that something was going on between them, as they looked very much so like a romantic pair.

We're also told Dua spent several days in L.A. before flying back to London, where she lives.

Fast-forward to this past weekend in London, and we saw what we're told was a foregone conclusion ... Anwar and Dua kissing in public at the British Summer Time Hyde Park music fest.

Our sources tell us prior to linking up with Dua in the U.K., he was in France for the Maison Valentino Fashion Show ... but then immediately flew to England to be with Dua. 

So far, it's looking like a long-distance relationship -- but we're told Dua and Anwar are committed to making it work ... for now, anyway.

Megan Rapinoe, Alex Morgan and the rest of the U.S. Women's National Team just touched down in New York City on Monday after winning the World Cup ... and they're clearly ready to party!!

Rapinoe pimp walked off the jet onto a waiting red carpet with a glass of booze in hand -- SWAAGGGGG!!!

The scene was awesome ... the women were singing "We Are the Champions" and showing off their medals and trophy while wearing "World Champions 2019" shirts. 

At one point, one of the players screams out, "I love America!"

Morgan was feelin' herself too ... she grabbed Rapinoe's cup and took a sip for herself!

Of course, the women are still celebrating their 2-0 victory over the Netherlands in France ... where they secured their second straight World Cup championship.

They're in New York now to continue the party -- a victory parade is set for Wednesday morning in Manhattan.

Bizarre situation involving Serena Williams -- who damaged a Wimbledon tennis court during a pre-tourney practice session ... and now she's been ordered to cough up $10,000 in fines. 

Unclear exactly what Serena did to warrant the fine -- though some reports say she used her racket to inflict the damage during a Sunday workout. 

The All England Club -- the organization which hosts Wimbledon -- has meted out a $10,000 fine for Serena which is chump change for her considering she's already made $367,000 for making the quarterfinals. 

So far, Serena hasn't commented on the fine ... but she's never been shy to speak her mind if she feels she's been wronged. 

She's set to play Alison Riske on Tuesday -- and there's no doubt she'll be asked about the incident by the media either before or after the match.  

Kevin Spacey's sexual assault case took a stunning turn Monday ... when the alleged victim pled the 5th during questioning, prompting the judge to strike the accuser's previous testimony from the record.

The actor's lawyers asked the judge in Nantucket District Court to dismiss the case claiming the entire case is now completely compromised after the alleged victim exercised his Fifth Amendment right to not testify during intense questioning.

The judge said he would allow prosecutors time to figure out how they wanna proceed moving forward but reportedly added, "It may be pretty hard to get around this in trial. The matter may well be dismissed for the reason indicated. It's not going to happen today."

Spacey's team also wants the judge to dismiss the case after the alleged victim's mother, Heather Unruh, was supposed to be sequestered but reportedly watched her son's testimony on a TV monitor in the courthouse.

The pretrial hearing largely focused on the the whereabouts of the accuser's phone. Spacey's lawyers want it to examine the phone and the information it holds, but nobody knows where it is.

As we reported ... the accuser alleged Spacey was getting him drunk and grabbing his genitals. The alleged victim said he was texting his then-girlfriend during the alleged 2016 encounter at a Nantucket bar. The string of text messages were included in a recent court filing.

Spacey's team thinks the texts don't tell the whole story, particularly because most of the texts lack time stamps and it's possible the accuser may have deleted other texts that could change the context of the convo.

PETA's celebrating a legal W that it hopes will be a big step in putting an end to using live animals in movies ... and it got some cash to boot.

The animal rights org will receive a "substantial payment" from Paws for Effect, the company that trained the puppy, Shelby, for her starring role in "A Dog's Way Home" ... which came out in January.

We broke the story ... Shelby's owners sued PETA for defamation in February, claiming the organization went on a smear campaign against Paws alleging it had racked up citations under the Animal Welfare Act.

Paws claimed PETA was wrong and was lying, but now the company's officially walked it back and has asked the court to dismiss the case.

According to the legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Paws now says what PETA accused it of was "substantially true" and admits it has "on several occasions over a period of several years been cited by the United States Department of Agriculture for violations of the federal Animal Welfare Act."

Paws offered to pay for PETA's legal fees and then some, and PETA accepted. PETA says Paws has also pledged to not exhibit or broker wild animals as part of its business in the future.

PETA's Senior VP, Lisa Lange, adds that the org is "pleased to have one less player involved in such exploitation" and vows to "keep exposing exhibitors' behind-the-scenes conduct until Hollywood ends the use of live animals and embraces the many types of realistic and humane alternatives."

Kendall Jenner had herself quite the girls trip this weekend that brought Greek beach goers a glorious sight ... a flock of tall, beautiful women taking the waters TOGETHER. 

It was a helluva scene Sunday on the sandy shores of Mykonos ... where Kendall, Shanina Shaik, Cindy Bruna, Riley Montana and a few other models got off a tug boat and stormed the beach in their bikinis, ready to play.

The girls were all over each other too -- hugging and posing for tons of group shots as they splashed around in the sea ... only to emerge dripping wet for a little R&R.

There were some dudes in their party -- unclear if they were just locals, or if they'd traveled from the States ... but either way, they were the luckiest guys on the beach by far.

BTW, this is one of the first times we're seeing Shanina out and about since she filed to divorce her husband of one year, DJ Ruckus.

Looks like Kendall is reintroducing her to single life one vacay at a time. 

Speaking of the vacation, Kendall and co. kept the wet vibes going Monday by swapping out her silver bikini for a yellow one as they went diving off their tug boat. 

Disney star Cameron Boyce, who died in his sleep Saturday, suffered from epilepsy ... TMZ has learned.

As we reported, Cameron, who starred in "Descendents" and "Grown Ups," suffered a fatal seizure. We're told his roommate found him unresponsive and when paramedics arrived they could not revive him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

We're told Cameron had been dealing with seizures triggered by his epilepsy. Nonetheless, he was able to work and achieve greatness ... in both TV and movies.

Law enforcement sources says they have characterized it as a "natural death." As bizarre as it sounds -- a 20-year-old dying of a seizure -- the term "natural" refers to conditions in the body which result in death.

Cameron was a working actor since age 11, when he first appeared on the Disney Channel. His credits include "Shake it Up," "Austin and Ally" and "Good Luck Charlie." His breakout role was playing Luke on "Jessie," which ran for 4 seasons.

Cameron's family said, "The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him."

Kim Kardashian West's solution for that Kimono PR nightmare is just that ... Solutionwear. That's the new name for her line of slimming undies.

Kim made the announcement Monday morning but the name isn't all that new, legally speaking. According to docs obtained by TMZ, Kim's company -- Kimono Intimates -- had trademarked Solutionwear back in April. The name was approved for publication last week. 

The new branding is for Kim's shapewear line and other products including lingerie, breast shapers, nightgowns and more.

You'll recall Kim was accused of cultural appropriation for trademarking the word associated with traditional Japanese garments. But, Kim never intended to produce the traditional Japanese Kimono garments.

As we reported ... her Kimono name only applied to her business. The shapewear line -- a collection created to include women of all shapes, sizes and skin complexions -- had been super hyped up before this controversy slowed down the roll out.

Anwan Glover -- who starred in the "The Wire" and "12 Years a Slave" -- has been sitting in a jail cell for over a week now after getting busted on firearm charges.

The veteran TV and movie actor was arrested in Washington D.C. on June 26 and booked for unlawful possession of a firearm -- a misdemeanor -- after cops say they searched his car during a traffic stop and discovered an unregistered handgun in Glover's Jeep. 

According to docs, obtained by TMZ, police were notified to be on the lookout for a white Jeep with a driver who was allegedly brandishing a gun out the window. Cops say they pulled over Glover because his ride matched the description and was making multiple lane changes without signaling.

Officers say they asked Glover if he had any weapons, and he said no. He also said no when they asked if they could search the vehicle but cops did it anyway, claiming probable cause.

The officers say they found a loaded Smith & Wesson MP Shield 9mm tucked between the Jeep's roll bar and roof cover, and then immediately placed Anwan under arrest. 

His lawyers filed a motion to have him released on bail ASAP so he could continue working and supporting his family. They say he denied any knowledge of the gun in the vehicle, and also argued cops had no business targeting him in the first place.

While cops say Glover's Jeep matched the description they were given, his attorneys say that's BS, and his Jeep is totally different. 

G-Eazy's hoping for a little less conversation and a lot more action ... leading to him landing the role of Elvis Presley in an upcoming movie about the music icon.

The rapper's not among the reported top names up for consideration to play The King in Baz Luhrmann's upcoming biopic, but sources close to the project tell TMZ ... he's making a strong push to join them.

We're told G-Eazy's been in talks with people at Warner Bros. and even had a few meetings, including with the director ... making it clear he's throwing his hat in the ring.

Our sources say G and Baz spent some time in NYC last month, and Eazy made his pitch to show Luhrmann how serious he was about portraying Presley.

He's not been shy about his desire to nab the role of the rock 'n' roll god either -- he shared these Elvis-esque shots of himself a couple weeks back with the caption, "Don't be cruel, to a heart that's true." All he's missing are some blue suede shoes.

So far, Baz hasn't revealed who he's leaning toward casting for the part, but 5 big names -- Ansel Elgort, Miles Teller, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Harry Styles and Austin Butler -- have tested for it.

G-Eazy's clearly hoping to shake things up and land the gig as his big foray to acting, but Hollywood's tough ... and it's possible he might end up at the Heartbreak Hotel -- sorry.

BTW -- Tom Hanks is already set to play Elvis' manager, Colonel Tom Parker, in the film.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello are either really, really, REALLY good friends who hold hands and embrace each other in public -- or they're freakin' dating ... maybe.

The two pop stars -- who recently collabed for their new single, "Señorita" -- were spotted Sunday leaving brunch together in WeHo hand in hand, and in lockstep with one another. They were both beaming, and sure looked like boyfriend/girlfriend.

The dating rumors have been swirling for almost two weeks now -- ever since they put out their duet ... they've been seemingly inseparable, especially through the long 4th of July weekend. SM and CC were reportedly holding hands and cozying up on the holiday itself, and Camila even crashed Shawn's concert on Friday, giving him affectionate praise.

On Instagram, she wrote ... "@shawnmendes you couldn't be more amazing. wow" 

As for whether this is actually a thing or not, the two singers have been pretty tight-lipped. Camila hasn't publicly indicated a relationship one way or another, but Shawn does appear to have denied it himself. Someone asked him flat-out during a Q&A, and he shook his head "no."

Michael Blackson's got a pretty flip response to a black music and art festival charging white people twice as much to attend -- he says this is how it should be for everything.

The comedian's just joking, of course, when we got him leaving Penthouse Nightclub in WeHo Sunday night, but his roast of Detroit's AfroFuture Fest didn't stop there. He tells us it's obviously not right for the festival to make ticket prices higher for white people, but he uses another word for white people -- the "C" word. But, not THAT one. Watch.

In case you missed it ... Blackson's making light of a situation many people didn't find funny at all over the weekend -- the fest hosted by AfroFuture Youth was offering an early bird ticket price of $10 for people of color, but $20 for "NONPOC."

It was met with serious backlash, and rapper Tiny Jag pulled out of the music festival saying the race-based ticket pricing does not reflect her views.

AfroFuture has since decided to make ticket prices equal, claiming it was "For the safety of our community, family, elders who received threats from white supremacists, & youth who were subjected to seeing racist comments on our IG pg."

Charles Manson LIVES ... on in ink, now featured on the arm of a weirdo who made sure to get the mass murderer's burnt up particles poked deep into his own skin. 

Get ready for a morbid body art tale -- 'cause that's exactly what this is. Artist Ryan Almighty tells TMZ that he recently gave one of Manson's longtime fanboys an arm tattoo for the ages -- which featured the real (dead) guy's leftover ashes from his cremation.

Ryan says a friend of his by the name of John Michael Jones -- who claims to have been one of Manson's pen pals before he died -- wanted to get a tat of the killer's face plastered on his arm, so Ryan did him a solid, and then did him one better ... throwing some of Manson's actual ashes into the ink, free of charge. Nice guy!!!!

We're told John drove up from Boston to Ryan's tattoo shop in rural New York -- where he parked it for 6 hours of needling. The ashes were mixed into the ink that Ryan used.

Check out the final product ... creepy AF, if ya ask us. Which is fitting, of course.

BTW, this ain't the first time Ryan's done some strange Manson art. He put together a blood painting of Manson last year (which also featured some of his ashes), which ended up in Zak Bagans' Haunted Museum in Las Vegas.
