KFC Marks Nazi Attack with Cheesy Chicken Celebration

Published | Updated

KFC does chicken WRONG, at least in Germany, after the company tried to entice customers to buy a fried breast or 2 in honor of a notorious day in Nazi history.

The chicken co. sent out an odd push notification Wednesday ... "Its memorial day for Kristallnacht! Treat yourself with more tender cheese on your crispy chicken. Now at KFCheese!"

In case you don't know ... Kristallnacht, which translates to the Night of Broken Glass, was a deadly attack on German Jews in 1938, resulting in the death of 90 people and the destruction of numerous synagogues and Jewish-owned businesses.

KFC weirdly apologized, claiming the blunder was "an error in our system." The company claims the automatic push notification was "linked to calendars that include national observances."

Dave Chappelle at 'SNL' Working with Writers, Full Cast ... Rep Denies Boycott Report

Published | Updated

Dave Chappelle's starting his third day of meetings with 'SNL' cast and writers, and his camp says there's been zero talk of an alleged boycott related to Dave's issues with the transgender community.

DC is hosting 'SNL' this weekend -- his first time since 2020, and since the release of his controversial Netflix special "The Closer" ... which sparked protests and much debate over jokes many people felt were transphobic.

The potential issue at 30 Rock this week is 'SNL' now has its first nonbinary cast member, Molly Kearney, and at least one writer who is transgender.

According to Page Six, the show's writers are boycotting, but a rep for Dave tells TMZ ... Dave's first 2 meetings with the staff have been full, and everyone's pitching sketch ideas as they normally do.

One of the writers, Celeste Yim, reportedly posted an Instagram story saying, “I’m trans and non-binary. I use they/them pronouns. Transphobia is murder and it should be condemned.”

Their post said nothing about a boycott. It's unclear if Celeste has been in the staff meetings with Dave this week. We've reached out to NBC for comment.

This will be Chappelle's third time hosting. He previously hosted in 2020 and in 2016, which was memorable for being the first show after the election of Donald Trump.

Dave famously said America should give Trump a chance, but since then the comedian's admitted he was way off.

Tiffany Trump Here Comes the Bride ... I've Got My Marriage License!!!

Published | Updated

Tiffany Trump just checked a major box before tying the knot this weekend, and giving her family something to celebrate ... after a tough round of election losses.

Palm Beach County records indicate Tiffany and her soon-to-be-husband, Michael Boulos, were issued a marriage license Tuesday, Election Day ... and just a few days prior to their wedding this Saturday at Mar-a-Lago.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

The license is valid for 60 days and they have to turn it back into the recorder's office before it expires to make their union all official and such. At this point, it seems everything is moving along right on schedule.

Tiffany's been with Michael since 2018, and they got engaged last winter. She just held her bridal shower this past weekend with her sister, mother and other friends in tow.

This wedding is probably a pick-me-up for her dad, Donald. Many of the candidates he backed for the midterms lost, and Republicans overall didn't fare as well as they'd hoped.

Now, the Trumps might not be out of the storm just yet -- there's literally one making its way to their shores right now. Tropical Storm Nicole is expected to make landfall Wednesday night. We'll see if that upends any of TT's wedding day plans.

CMA Awards Kelly Clarkson, Kelsea Ballerini, Carly Pearce ... Epic Divorcée Performance At CMAs

Published | Updated

The Country Music Awards has some interesting moments Wednesday night ... and one of the baddest-ass moments was divorcées Kelsea Ballerini, Carly Pearce, and Kelly Clarkson rockin' out together.

The 3 singers joined forces for Country's biggest night in Nashville ... bringin' it all for a rendition of Kelsea's latest hit, "You're Drunk, Go Home." Needless to say, the crowd was lovin' it.

TMZ broke the story ... production sources for the CMAs told us the trio was planning the powerful performance last month -- doing a song all about female empowerment, and about guys who hit on women at bars after getting plastered.

As you know, Kelly and Carly both filed for divorce in June, 2020 ... Kelly from Brandon Blackstock after 7 years of marriage, and Carly from Michael Ray after less than a year.

As for Kelsea, she pulled the plug on her 5-year marriage with Morgan Evans -- the 2 finalized their divorce a week ago. She's been very open about how tough divorce can be ... recently posting an emotional confessional from the bathtub.

FYI -- Morgan was in the crowd during Kelsea's performance with Kelly and Carly Wednesday night ... though it's unclear if he was diggin' the tune or took it a little more personal.

Rev. Al Sharpton Takeoff's Death Not Hip Hop's Fault ... Gun Violence an Issue

WE MUST DO BETTER

Al Sharpton is laying into individuals who blame hip hop culture for Takeoff's homicide, and says social media only fools you into thinking rappers are more violent than society, at-large.

We caught up with Rev. Al Wednesday in NYC, where he pointed out hip hop is filled with artists who are responsible and actively lift up their communities. He says it's unfortunate the advent of social media helps to amplify violent incidents way more than the good ones.

The Rev accurately pointed out all the other music genres where violence has occurred for decades -- and he largely agreed with what Method Man told us about the Takeoff tragedy.

FIND ANOTHER SCAPEGOAT

The Wu-Tang Clan star was peeved over the slain Migos rapper's passing, and equally annoyed over all the scapegoating of rap.

In fact, Rev. Al is giving hip hop credit for being proactive when it comes to spreading awareness against gun violence.

Late 1980s rap songs such as Stop the Violence Movement's "Self Destruction" and West Coast All Stars' "We're All In The Same Gang" are evidence of that.

Sharpton also recalls R&B singers getting into shootouts before the dominance of rap ... a fact to which superproducer Teddy Riley can cosign.

In 1989, entourages for Teddy's group Guy and New Edition began beefing ... leading to NE’s production manager Ronald Byrd fatally shooting Guy’s security chief, Anthony Bee.

Takeoff's massive memorial is happening Friday in his Atlanta hometown, at the State Farm Arena. The city's showing up in a big way for the Migos star -- we're told fans have already snatched up all tickets for the free event.

Peyton Manning Roasts Eli As CMA Awards Host ... 'Used To This Lack Of Professionalism!!!'

Published | Updated

The biggest night in country music turned into a bit of a roast of Eli Manning -- with Peyton tossing several barbs his little bro's way throughout the evening ... and it was all hilarious!!

The Indianapolis Colts legend was co-hosting the annual CMA Awards show with Luke Bryan in Nashville -- and while a bunch of music stars caught playful shade from the duo ... Eli appeared to find himself as the butt of the jokes more often than not.

In fact, it only took about 10 minutes into the show for Peyton to make his first dig at the former New York Giants star, who he co-hosts his weekly "Monday Night Football" "Manningcast" with.

"Peyton, let me break it to you, I don't prepare," Bryan said during the opening monologue. "I'm just kind of a wing it kind of host."

"Trust me, that's clear," Peyton responded. "So, what you're saying is, this is my worst nightmare. But it's actually OK, because I do a show with my brother Eli -- I'm used to this lack of professionalism."

A couple hours later, Peyton threw some more quills Eli's way while chatting with the Brothers Osborne.

"So, let me guess," Peyton said turning to the country music group. "Your mom makes you work with your brother too, right?"

Eli certainly noticed it all -- and took to Twitter to gripe about his older bro.

"If my math is correct," the younger Manning said, "that is the 3rd shot Peyton has taken at me on the CMA's."

The night otherwise went off without a flaw -- and Peyton was largely lauded for his performance ... baby bro notwithstanding.

PARKING LOT PUNCH
UPDATE

5:47 AM PT -- 11/10 -- Thomas Bryant was booked into the Jefferson County Jail around 10 PM Wednesday and later released on $1,000 bond. As you can see, the councilman posed for his mug shot in his black suit and white dress shirt.

UPDATE

An Alabama city councilman accused of using racial slurs was arrested after punching the town's Black mayor ... and it's all on video.

Police in Tarrant, AL just released the footage ... and cops say the video shows Councilman Thomas Bryant punching Mayor Wayman Newton in the face.

There's a bunch of people who cops say saw the punch, which went down Monday in the City Hall parking lot, with witnesses including the Tarrant Police Department's own police chief. Officers arrested Bryant at the scene and took him to jail.

Police say Bryant was initially charged with harassment, but the charge was since upgraded to third-degree assault.

The dispute reportedly arose from a heated meeting inside City Hall, where Bryant challenged the mayor to step down.

Video shows the guy who took the punch run away before falling to his knees and then getting back up and jumping around.

NBA's Miles Bridges Ex Attempted To Bust In Home With Hose Nozzle ... Video Shows

Published | Updated

New video obtained by TMZ Sports shows Miles Bridges' ex did appear to attempt to break into his residence back in October -- slamming a hose nozzle against the NBA star's door repeatedly as he tried to hold it closed.

The footage was captured on Oct. 12 ... after Mychelle Johnson allegedly brought over the couple's two kids in an attempt to get inside Bridges' L.A. rental home to speak with him.

Bridges, however, said in court docs this week he wanted no part of contact with her -- saying he wasn't allowed to talk to her due to court orders that were given to him after he was charged with felony domestic violence for his alleged role in a June altercation with the woman.

In the docs, Bridges claimed Johnson showed up unannounced through a side gate in his backyard ... and then, after he retreated inside, "kept yelling outside the door demanding me to open it while the kids were calling out to me to let them in."

The footage shows at one point during their encounter, one of the children handed Johnson a hose nozzle that she then used to hit the door several times in an effort to get into the pad.

Over and over again, Bridges can be heard in the video telling her to stop.

Eventually, according to the court docs, after she couldn't get in, Johnson stole Bridges' dog and left with the children.

The incident was not isolated, according to Bridges, who said in the docs that on two other occasions -- one on Oct. 31 and one on Nov. 5 -- she similarly harassed him and caused him emotional distress and anxiety.

Bridges asked a court for a temporary restraining order from Johnson over it all ... and on Wednesday, a judge granted it. A hearing on the matter has been set for Nov. 30.

Tim Murphy In 'Jurassic Park' 'Memba Him?!

Published

American actor Joseph Mazzello was just 10 years old when he was first cast as Tim Murphy -- the young smarty pants who is intrigued by dinosaurs before getting hunted by them -- in the classic action film "Jurassic Park" back in 1993.

Joe was cast alongside Laura Dern as the adventurous doctor who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty, Ellie Sattler and Jeff Goldblum as the outgoing (and at times cocky) mathematician, Dr. Ian Malcolm.

Joseph reprised his role as Tim in "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" in 1997 and was joined by Julianne Moore and Vince Vaughn.

Shawn Mendes is making a strong case to be Canada's finest export ... for the latest evidence, look no further than these pics of him taking a stroll without a shirt!!!

The "Treat You Better" singer ditched his shirt Wednesday and went on a hike on one of Los Angeles' many trails ... looking like a certified hunk.

Shawn worked up a sweat on his journey ... which only made him look even hotter.

The guy's checking all the boxes here ... flowing dark hair, the right mix of tattoos, six-pack abs, and just enough body hair. Yes, please!!!

Handsome looks aside, it's good to see Shawn looking happy and healthy ... remember, he's not performing right now because he canceled his world tour for a mental health break.

TMZ broke the story ... Shawn told us he pressed pause on his tour to enjoy the simple things in life, along with some therapy, in order to regain his life balance.

The last time we saw Shawn, he was going to church with Justin Bieber, who also put his tour on ice for a mental health break.

Adidas Confirms More Yeezys on the Way!!! But, with Different Name

Published | Updated

Kanye West's Yeezy designs will, in fact, live on at Adidas after all ... but they'll have a completely different title when they drop.

Adidas honchos announced Wednesday the company plans to continue selling more of the Ye-inspired shoes starting as early as 2023, but without a trace of the Yeezy name ... according to Insider.

Adidas reportedly emphasized to their shareholders the company remains the sole owner of the core designs of the current Yeezys in circulation ... including shoe silhouettes and colorways. As such, they feel they have every right to keep hawking them.

Adidas also gave some sobering financial numbers -- noting it expects to lose up to half a billion dollars in annual revenue as a result of ending the partnership with Ye.

Previously, execs said they'd take a $247 million hit, this year alone.

Unclear if they're going to discard the Yeezy inventory they have right now, or retweak and rerelease them. In any case, it sounds like sneakerheads will see "Yeezys" on the market again soon enough.

Adidas had already signaled this move when it first cut ties with Kanye -- explicitly saying the shoe designs belonged to them. Kanye hasn't publicly said anything about that stance or the company's plan to sell rebranded Yeezys.

We know Kanye's griped in the past about ownership. As it stands, at least on paper, he only owns the patent to Yeezy Slides.

FWIW, there are 14 different Yeezy shoe products (sans the Slides) that have been released over the years, and lord knows they've been popular and profitable thus far.

WORTHLESS WITHOUT KANYE ?

The question now is ... are they worth as much without Ye's name attached? We, and Adidas, are gonna find out.

Alicia Keys Not PERFORMING AT TAKEOFF'S MEMORIAL

Published | Updated
UPDATE

1:37 PM PT -- A rep for Alicia Keys tells us she will not be performing. We're told she was invited, but is unable to attend -- as a guest or performer -- due to a scheduling conflict.

Alicia Keys is performing at Takeoff's memorial service this week ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge of the event tell us AK is scheduled to take the stage Friday at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta for the Migos rapper's sendoff. It's unclear how long Alicia will perform, or what exactly she might be singing ... but we do know she'll be there and mic'd up to sing.

Alicia doesn't have any solo tracks with Takeoff specifically, but she and Migos were all featured on Kanye West's last 'Donda' album -- so there is a connection there.

She also posted a tribute to Takeoff after his shooting death, saying ... "This is too much. It's like every day. RIP Takeoff. Sending light to your family and loved ones. We are losing too many too soon!!"

Tickets for Takeoff's memorial are already sold out ... and as we first told you, Justin Bieber is also set to perform at the service.

Pennsylvania Legislator Tony DeLuca Wins Reelection ... Despite Death Last Month

Published | Updated

Longtime Pennsylvania state representative Anthony "Tony" DeLuca won in an Election Day landslide -- which has to sting for his opponent, because DeLuca's no longer living.

The late state rep. received 85% of the votes in Wednesday's midterm election -- despite dying in October from a battle with lymphoma.

The timing of DeLuca's death reportedly made it too late to pick a different Democrat candidate, or to reprint updated ballots.

The Pennsylvania House Democratic campaign committee addressed the issue online Tuesday evening -- saying a special election will come soon to fix the error -- but also thanked supporters, presumably for voting him in posthumously.

Many online are pointing to a lack of voter awareness as the reason DeLuca beat Green Party candidate Queonia Livingston ... with others speculating voters simply didn't want to vote for Livingston.

Nancy Grace Rips New Casey Anthony Doc ... It's a Money & Fame Grab!!!

Published

Nancy Grace says the upcoming Peacock docuseries on Casey Anthony is a sham ... she says Casey will lie her way through the series and laugh all the way to the bank.

The queen of true crime joined us Wednesday on "TMZ Live" and we asked her why Peacock is coming out with a series on the woman Nancy called the "most hated mom in America" during the trial for her daughter Caylee's murder.

There's already tons of outrage over Peacock's three-part doc, "Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies," and Nancy says the only thing the network and Casey care about here is making money.

Nancy, who famously dubbed Casey the "Tot Mom," says she was actually invited to sit down with Casey for an interview as part of the docuseries ... but she says she refused when she was told she couldn't grill Casey the way she would in a court of law.

Translation: Nancy wasn't down for a bunch of softball questions.

As you know, Casey was acquitted of murdering her 2-year-old daughter back in 2011 during a trial that got wall-to-wall coverage on cable news ... especially from Nancy, who was convinced Casey was guilty.

The Peacock series is the first time Casey is giving an on-camera interview since her trial ... and a teaser for the doc was released Tuesday, sparking the backlash.

Despite the series' title, Nancy predicts it will offer very little truth and certainly won't bring justice for Caylee's death -- and, instead, it'll be nothing but a "money and fame grab" ... for Casey.

Al Sharpton Kyrie's Not Receiving 'Lashing' ... Antisemitism Deserves Consequences

Published | Updated

Kyrie Irving is facing justified consequences for propagating antisemitic views -- despite some in the Black community feeling like he's getting a "lashing" ... so suggests Rev. Al Sharpton.

We got the civil rights leader in NYC Wednesday to speak about the growing sentiment that KI is being overly-punished and made an example of by the powers that be in the NBA ... even though he's apologized for his controversial comments of late.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

The Reverend says people should denounce bigotry no matter what, and that applies to Kyrie too. He says just because African-Americans have been subjected to racism and mistreatment historically doesn't mean it's okay to normalize hatred of another group.

Sharpton also seems to be hinting that the two shouldn't automatically be conflated.

kyrie irving
DODGING THE QUESTION

Sharpton apparently believes Kyrie's promotions were antisemitic -- and that he's on the side of those who are calling for accountability.

Even though Kyrie has tried walking it all back, some feel it's empty because he's implied the Holocaust is simply a cultural issue important to Jews, rather than an outright atrocity.

Since then, he's been suspended and has met with Commissioner Adam Silver, who's Jewish. But the debate about his treatment rages on, especially across racial/cultural lines.

Radio Guy Poops Pants On-Air ... 'I Just Went In My Pants'💩

Published | Updated

Get a load of this -- a sports radio producer literally couldn't keep his crap together after hearing a joke live on the air ... 'cause he laughed so hard, he pooped his pants!!

Here's the deal -- CBS Sports Radio contributor Shaun Morash was, ironically enough, reacting to a silly conversation about the Philly Phanatic pooping on people's chests ... when disaster struck for himself.

Morash damn near came out of his chair over the joke ... then admitted me made a mud pie in his trousers.

"I just went in my pants," Morash said as he unplugged his headphones and rushed to the restroom.

Naturally, everyone else erupted in laughter.

Morash later returned with his head down ... saying he used a "lot of paper towels" and couldn't look the guys in the eyes.

The most disgusting part came when Morash showed off the damage -- with the crew looking on in horror.

Damon Amendolara, the show's host, said he was glad that Morash found the joke funny ... but was concerned that his colleague couldn't control his bowel movements.

“On the other hand, I’m really terrified of a guy that, if you laugh really loud, can’t control the bowels," said Amendolara. "It’s like somebody dumped a milkshake down his pants!"

Morash explained what exactly happened ... saying, "I laughed too hard up and friction down. Luckily, it wasn’t mega poundage."

Gross!!!
