Kim Kardashian's 42nd birthday is all about the fam -- family memories, family videos, a family-filled party ... and even a close encounter with her ex, Kanye West.

Kim capped off her big day Friday by throwing a low-key party at her office space in Calabasas -- Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble, Kendall Jenner and a few close friends all showed up to celebrate.

As for gifts ... we know she got a couple really sweet videos -- one from her mom. Kris posted vintage (aka VHS) footage of Kim from one of her 1st birthday parties ... and added a pretty complete montage that tracked Kim from a toddler, right up to present day.

She also got a pretty creative shout-out from her firstborn, North West.

Kim's daughter posted a TikTok of herself and her mama lip-syncing Becky Hill and David Guetta’s “Remember.” North included a pretty simple caption ... "Moms birthday tik tok."

Let's face it, even for a 42-year-old, your b-day ain't lit if it ain't on TikTok!!!

The only potential wrinkle on Kim's birthday came at North's basketball game. Before her party, Kim was courtside for the game, but so was North's papa, Ye.

Just as at previous games ... the exes weren't sitting far from each other, but they had no interaction. Sooo, birthday crisis averted.

Doja Cat knows how to make an exclusive Hollywood event feel even more elite -- her 27th birthday brought out a huge list of big names, who were reminded this is as inside as inside gets.

The bash went down Friday night in WeHo at the Raspoutine on Melrose -- and the guest of honor arrived rocking an elaborate gold mask adorned with more feathers than your average peacock.

In fact, almost all her guests showed up in masks -- thankfully, not the kind we had to wear during the pandemic -- adhering to what seems to have been a masquerade ball theme.

Adding to the elite air of the event was Doja's birthday cake -- a massive black and gold covered 3-tiered dessert -- which had several Illuminati logos on it.

Inside, guests partied to a lot of hip hop hits, of course, but we're told there was also a lot of 1950's jazz played too, seemingly a nod to the evening's theme -- and DC joked she wasn't letting her age get her down.

'Cause, as we all know, it's all downhill from 27. 😭

Justin and Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner and Shawn Mendes all showed up ready to party -- although it doesn't look like Shawn got the memo on the theme.

Paul Pierce continues to be the butt of the joke after his viral raunchy twerking party last year -- his friends trolled him by getting a birthday cake with a picture from the infamous Instagram Live session ... and it's hilarious!!

Pierce, who celebrated his 45th birthday last Thursday, posted a picture of the cake on Twitter ... which poked fun at his NSFW gathering that led to his exit from ESPN.

On the cake is a pic of Paul -- who looks mesmerized -- pictured next to a scantily clad woman with the words, "Monica come through," and "Happy Birthday Habibi."

"My boys got me this cake fa my bday they play to much," Pierce said on Twitter ... seemingly accepting the friendly jab.

Remember ... the former Celtics superstar posted a video on Instagram showing him having a good time as scantily-clad women twerked on the floor behind him.

Pierce was fired from his ESPN job just days later.

Paul didn't seem too phased by his firing at the time ... posting a video of him smiling and laughing, saying, "Big Things coming soon stay tuned make sure u smile."

Shoutout to Paul for being a good sport about it all.

Stephen Curry took a moment to honor Brittney Griner during the Golden State Warriors' championship ring ceremony on Opening Night -- wishing the hooper a happy 32nd birthday and supporting the efforts to bring her home.

"We want to continue to use our platform and the opportunity to shoutout a very special member of the basketball community -- Brittney Griner's birthday is today," Curry said before the Warriors hung their fourth banner in eight years.

"She's 32 years old. We want to continue to let her name be known. And, we pray that ... it's been 243 days since she's been wrongfully incarcerated in Russia. We hope that she comes home soon and everybody's doing their part to get her home."

Griner, who's been in custody in Russia since February, briefly thanked her supporters during what should have been a special day ... saying in a statement, "Thank you everyone for fighting so hard to get me home."

"All the support and love are definitely helping me."

As for the Warriors, their rings (made by Jason of Beverly Hills) are incredible -- they feature 16 carats of yellow and white diamonds set in yellow gold to represent their 16 wins in the playoffs.

It's the first championship ring to be made up of mostly yellow diamonds -- in honor of the team's "golden age."

They also have a special secret compartment ... which reveals the number of trophies each player has individually won over the course of their career.

There are seven carats of yellow cushion cut diamonds on the bezel to mark the team's total championships in franchise history ... and 43 baguettes in the bridge of the logo on top for Curry's 43-point performance in the Finals.

Brittney Griner is spending her 32nd birthday behind bars in Russian prison ... and her wife, Cherelle, is thanking President Joe Biden and his administration for working nonstop in hopes of bringing her home before her 33rd.

Monday marked 8 months since the Phoenix Mercury superstar was detained for having cannabis oil in her belongings at a Russian airport ... and Cherelle says the separation has been beyond challenging.

"I've felt every moment of the grueling seven months without her," Cherelle said in a video.

Despite Griner's ongoing imprisonment, Cherelle is hopeful the U.S. is continuing to fight for her freedom.

"I want to thank President Biden for the Administration's efforts to secure her release."

"As my family and I continue on this journey, I'd like to thank our friends, leaders and supporters who continue to stand with us and advocate for Brittney's swift and safe return."

As we previously reported, Cherelle opened up about Brittney's mental battles while behind bars ... saying her wife feels like her life doesn't matter anymore, and fears she has been forgotten in Russia.

"Let's share a unified commitment to bringing all Americans home to their families and loved ones," Cherelle added.

With Tuesday being Brittney's birthday, Cherelle is calling on her supporters to continue sending support on social media by using the hashtags #WeAreBG and #BringThemHome.

The government has been negotiating with Russia ... and claims it offered a "substantial" proposal to bring her home ASAP.

BTS might be the biggest boy band in the world, but when duty calls they're just ordinary citizens ... they've been ordered to put down their mics down and serve in the military STAT.

The agency behind the K-pop stars made the announcement Monday ... all 7 guys will be performing their mandatory military service ... and the oldest member, Jin, is up first.

Apparently, Jin has managed to put off going for as long as possible, but no more delays ... he'll serve the full two years.

South Korea requires men ages 18 to 28 to serve for at least 18 months. Jin is turning 30 in a few months, but he'll still have to put in his time.

"Jin will cancel the request to delay enlistment in late October 2022 and follow the Military Manpower Administration's relevant procedures for enlistment," BTS' management said.

The other boys in the band won't be putting it off much longer ... despite some lawmakers asking for them to be exempt, similar to other athletes and musicians have in SK.

Does Usher like surprise birthday parties? F*** Yeah!

The superstar crooner was surprised Friday night when a bunch of his closest star pals came out to say HBD to Mr. Raymond at Nomad Library in Vegas hosted by Amazon Music.

Usher has a residency at MGM, and during his show, Chris Brown, Jermaine Dupri and Anita Baker showed up to perform, wishing the R&B legend a happy 44th. Baker sang "Happy Birthday" ... and she wasn't the only one.

After the concert, Usher got the big SURPRISE at Nomad. Dupri and Bryan Michael Cox were on the 1s and 2s as DJs for the festivities ... but stopped the music so everyone at the shindig could sing their own "Happy Birthday."

As for who showed up ... Polow Da Don, Keith Thomas, Hazel E, Kendrick Sampson, Floyd Mayweather and Johntá Austin.

The party moved to Mayweather’s Vegas skating rink at around 3:30 AM, Skate Rock City, for some late-night skating.

50 Cent is crushing his son Marquise Jackson's hopes at a reconciliation ... and what makes his latest diss even more cold-blooded is the fact it comes on his son's 26th birthday!!!

The legendary rapper responded to Marquise's on-camera olive branch Thursday with a very personalized dig buried in a promo for his ongoing European tour.

In the clip, we find Fiddy in da tub of his exquisite hotel, flipping through TV channels ... only to see Marquise's infamous interview where he claimed the $6,700-a-month child support wasn't enough for him while growing up.

TMZ Hip Hop recently spoke to Marquise ... who says he's willing to put up any amount of money to make good with his dad after all these years.

YK Osiris made a potentially poor choice to engage in a fight with a man looking to knock his head off, but his security guards realized that probably wasn't a great idea.

The "Worth It" singer left Cardi B's star-studded party Tuesday night in WeHo and got in his ride, but a clearly irate man walked over to the Lamborghini Urus, and started screaming all sorts of obscenities at YK. Something about cats ... you get it.

That's when YK opted to hop out and confront the guy! We'll say this ... the security team and had one job, and did it well. They immediately pushed the pissed-off man to the sidewalk, and put YK back in his vehicle.

It's unclear what the argument was about ... the man quickly turned his fury towards YK's security, flying off the handle about going to war, but cooler heads eventually prevailed and everyone went their separate ways.

Someone off-camera commended YK for stepping up to fight -- him being a trained boxer and all, but we're pretty sure his security did the right thing.

L.A.'s been a dangerous place for artists this year -- back in February, Kodak Black was shot a couple of blocks from where Cardi's party went down, and the sad fact is ... YK's shiny necklace could've made him a target.

Here's something you NEVER see happen in Hollywood ... Jamie Foxx rejected at the door of a huge event -- in this case, Cardi B's birthday party -- and you gotta see Jamie's reaction!!!

Jamie pulled up to the WeHo shindig in full Foxxy mode -- stepping out of his white Rolls-Royce, and as photogs swarmed around, he coolly changed from driving shoes to party shoes (they look identical 😂).

Then, the unbelievable happened ... Jamie and his group of about 4 to 5 other people strolled up to the event -- only to return to his car mere moments later! As Jamie walked away photogs asked why the hell they rejected Mr. Life of the Party. He played it cool, not saying a word ... but it's obvious the door guy knew he'd screwed up.

He came running out to the street, telling Jamie it's cool for him to enter -- but Foxx wasn't having it, saying ... "No, we not good. Nah ni**a, it's all good! I love you, but it was too much."

According to a photo agency, Jamie was initially turned away because he had too many guests with him. Let's just say ... MAJOR faux pas on the part of someone at the door.

Meanwhile, Cardi celebrated her 30th birthday inside -- oblivious, we're sure, too what went down with Jamie, and probably won't be happy about it once she finds out.

Cardi B celebrated 30 trips around the sun not only with her closest friends and family, but also with Offset, who has been the target of some recent drama with his former rap pals.

Cardi and Offset entered the rapper's cabaret-themed bash Tuesday at Poppy nightclub in West Hollywood walking arm and arm -- certainly showing a united front. Cardi, dressed in a red flapper ensemble, looked amazing ... while Offset -- dressed in white and red -- looked stoic.

Inside, guests were treated to burlesque dancers, a lip-sync performance from Cardi herself and hours of dancing. At one point, Cardi also took shots in front of party-goers.

As for the drama with Offset, it was last week when his former Migos members Quavo and Takeoff dropped a debut album as a duo.

On one of the songs, "Messy," Quavo seemingly alludes to Offset hooking up with his ex-gf, Saweetie, rapping, "Bitch f***** my dawg behind my back, but I ain't stressin' (Not at all)/You wanted the gang, you shoulda just said it, we would have blessed it (You shoulda just said it)/Now shit got messy (Uh)."

Fabolous wanted to wish his two-year-old daughter Journey a happy birthday ... but was quickly met with opposition from his estranged stepdaughter Taina Williams.

It's a special day for LeBron James -- not only is it his firstborn son's birthday -- Bronny Jr. turned 18 years old!!

The Lakers superstar went to Instagram to post a bday tribute on Thursday, using a throwback photo of him and Bronny during his first stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers ... along with a photo of father and son during their recent visit to Ohio State.

"How is this kid 18 years old today y'all!!??!!" James said in the caption, "I can't deal with it. 🥺🥺."

"I'm so proud of the young man you've become kid! Continue to be YOU throughout your journey because it's simply better that way!"

Bronny is a top high school basketball player (ranked 34th in ESPN's Top 100 in the 2023 class), and LeBron has publicly talked about his desire to play with his son on an NBA team.

Bronny's mom and James' wife, Savannah, also posted a throwback ... an old pregnancy photo for Bronny, saying, "The little nugget that was in here is 18 today."
