Stormy Daniels was right ... her strip club arrest WAS a hit job by Columbus PD and there's a chain of emails between high-ranking officers that seems to prove it.

The bulk of the emails were provided by a whistleblower to the Fayette Advocate and they show the arresting officer gathering information about Stormy 2 days before she performed at Sirens strip club in Ohio.

The same officer who arrested Stormy sent messages from her personal email account to her work account with pictures of Stormy with President Trump, Stormy in lingerie and a map to the strip club.

There's also another email that shows the same officer bragging about Stormy's arrest to another officer, saying, "you're welcome!!!!....Thank me in person later."

As we reported ... Columbus PD chief Kim Jacobs said cops screwed up the arrest because the law that prohibits performers touching patrons only applies to dancers who perform regularly at the club. Stormy was a guest performer.

The chief also said it launched an internal investigation to determine if the officers' motives were improper. Stormy's attorney, Michael Avenatti, also weighed in on the discovery of the emails.

Dennis Quaid took a puff on a plane, and broke both the airline's policy and a fellow passenger's peace of mind ... according to a new lawsuit.

A guy named Karl Larsen is trying to drag Dennis to small claims court in L.A., claiming the veteran actor smoked an electronic cigarette next to him in first class on an Air Canada flight from Toronto to L.A. when he shouldn't have ... 2 whole years ago in July.

According to the complaint -- obtained by TMZ -- Larsen says Quaid owes him the cost of a plane ticket for ... well, reasons that are unclear. He doesn't spell out why Quaid should pay him, but he does make note that he's cutting the guy a break -- only looking to be reimbursed the price of a biz class seat (not first class) from TOR to LAX ... at just $3,829.

For the record, Air Canada has a zero-tolerance policy on e-cigarettes on board. Then again ... this thing might be much ado aboot nothin' when it comes right down to it.

We've reached out to Dennis' camp for comment ... so far, no word back.

Stormy Daniels is champing at the bit to destroy a family horse business, of course, of course ... according to a new suit.

A married Texas couple who run Pegasus Eventing claim Stormy's been on the warpath to trash their reputation and ruin their careers due to the deaths of a few of her horses ... but they say her accusations are outright slanderous.

According to the docs ... Stormy and her husband, Glendon Crain, were boarding as many as 7 horses with Pegasus, and one of them named Bailey tragically died in a flash flood in 2015. Stormy allegedly kept working with Pegasus after the flood, but removed her horses from their stables about a year later when another horse named Ziggy suffered an injury in a hail storm.

Pegasus claims, after Stormy pulled her horses and started boarding them elsewhere, Ziggy and another one of her horses died in a freak galloping collision ... which Stormy blamed on Ziggy's injury while at Pegasus.

According to the suit ... Stormy then went on a social media smear campaign against the Pegasus owners, accusing the wife of being "autistic and mentally challenged" and calling the husband a drunk. She also allegedly claimed the couple kills horses with no regret, denies them proper vet care and drugs them.

The Pegasus couple, repped by Christine Renne, says these allegations are all lies, and the lies are ruining their business. They're suing Stormy and her husband for up to a million bucks.

Stormy's lawyer, Michael Avenatti, says the lawsuit is "complete nonsense and entirely bogus."

President Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is no more -- again -- after police say a man smashed it to smithereens with a pickax. That's right ... ANOTHER pickax!

Police reportedly took a man into custody early Wednesday morning after turning himself in to Beverly Hills PD for vandalizing Trump's star. The dude who axed the star reportedly called cops to report the crime ... but was nowhere to be seen when they arrived.

Witnesses and police say the man arrived on Hollywood Blvd. with a guitar case in hand, from which he pulled out the pickax. Then ... he allegedly went at it and crushed the star to rubble -- causing far more damage than James Otis did in 2016.

Speaking of Otis ... it's unclear if he was involved. The current suspect's identity has yet to be revealed.

Between this and George Lopez's fake peeing on the often-screwed-with star ... the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce -- which oversees and maintains the stars -- might wanna consider a long-term solution for this. We still got at least 2 more years, folks.

Safaree Samuels was screwed from the get-go when he was robbed at gunpoint -- not only did he know one of the alleged assailants, but the dudes were tracking his every move before the hit.

Sources connected to the case tell TMZ ... cops found a GPS device which had been installed on Safaree's car before he was held up at gunpoint in April and robbed in New York. We're told it's unclear when the device was planted, but cops believe it's how the robbers pinpointed Safaree.

Interestingly enough, our sources say this tracking technique is one that's been used by authorities in NYC as of late ... and they even think the perps picked up the trick from them. We're told these GPS devices have been getting used more and more in high-profile stickups.

As we reported ... two suspects have already been arrested in the case, one of whom Safaree knows very well. A third man has also been arrested in connection with the crime.

Former NFL star and NFL Network analyst Eric Davis sexually harassed and groped a makeup artist, then confronted her about losing his job over it ... according to a new suit.

Erin McParland claims she was hired by NFL Network in 2014, and became the target of Davis' unwanted comments and advances ... including hugging her, rubbing his genitals on her leg and grabbing her butt.

Her allegations were reported on in December, but she hadn't sued until now ... and there are additional claims.

According to the docs ... she went to the company's HR department to complain, and they told her they'd look into it. McParland claims she told them, if any disciplinary action was taken against Davis, to make sure she wasn't around so he couldn't confront her about it.

However, McParland claims Davis was let go on a day she was working, and he was allowed to aggressively approach her afterward ... which she says made her fear for her safety. She also says he was allowed to take a job at ESPN ... where the NFL Network knew she also freelanced.

There's more -- McParland mentions Michael Irvin once grabbed her around the waist while she was working and made her feel uncomfortable. As we reported ... Irvin, along with Davis, Marshall Faulk, Donovan McNabb and others were sued in December by another makeup artist who worked at the NFL Network.

Davis and McNabb have since been fired by ESPN.

Lisa Marie Presley has only herself to blame for her millions of dollars in debt ... so says her ex-manager who is now suing her for $800k he claims she owes him.

Lisa's ex-manager, Barry Siegel, filed new legal docs claiming Lisa twice squandered her father's fortune since she inherited it in 1993. In docs, obtained by TMZ, Barry claims Lisa's excessive spending is what got her into a financial mess and NOT his management of her trust.

What's more ... Barry is suing her to get the $800k he claims she owes him for unpaid work he did before she fired him in March 2016.

As we reported ... Lisa sued Barry back in February claiming she lost $24.5 million after her stock plummeted following an investment into the parent company of "American Idol" ... which went belly-up in 2016.

Ex-NBA star Ben Gordon won't go to jail for his 2017 fire alarm pulling meltdown in L.A. -- but he ain't exactly off the hook either.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... the former Chicago Bulls player was arrested back in June 2017 after witnesses say he freaked out and pulled a bunch of fire alarms at his apartment complex.

LAPD and L.A. City Fire raced to the scene -- but when they realized there was no fire, Gordon was arrested for falsely activating a fire alarm.

He faced up to a year in jail -- but struck a deal with prosecutors in which he pled no contest and, in exchange, got 18 months probation. He was also ordered to pay various fines and fees.

No big deal for Gordon ... who reportedly made $84 MILLION during his NBA career.

The man suing Odell Beckham for an alleged brutal beatdown at the NFL star's home is escalating the war -- now claiming he has proof Odell tried to illegally pay a woman for sex.

But, Odell's team claims it's all BS.

It's all in new court docs filed in California ... in which Ishmael Temple claims he was at Beckham's Beverly Hills home back in January, when the NFL star turned on him and allegedly ordered his employees to beat him up.

Temple claims he suffered major injuries, including broken teeth. He initially sued for $15 mil.

Odell's camp vehemently denied the allegations -- claimed Beckham had no involvement in any violence -- and claimed Beckham was being extorted by a man who filed a frivolous lawsuit.

But, Temple's lawyers have filed new docs -- including an alleged email exchange with Beckham's attorneys -- and it's loaded with new bombshell allegations.

Among them, Temple's attorney claims, "We have evidence of your client offering $1k to sleep with a girl from Arizona visiting L.A. known to my client."

Temple's lawyer also says they have "evidence of drugs of the most prohibited types readily available and consumed at his parties."

In the docs, Temple's lawyer claims he initially offered to drop his case against Beckham for a $225,000 settlement -- but later rescinded that offer. Unclear why.

We reached out to Odell's camp for comment and were told -- "Odell Beckham Jr., through his attorney, denies all of the allegations."

One thing's for sure ... this case is as nasty as it gets, and it doesn't look like it's going away any time soon.

Nashville Predators forward Austin Watson just got a slap on the wrist in his domestic violence case -- after admitting to roughing up his baby mama at a Tennessee gas station.

As we previously reported, the 26-year-old -- who was a first-round pick in the 2010 NHL Draft -- was arrested on June 16 after admitting that he pushed his girlfriend during a heated argument.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ Sports, Watson told police that he and his GF were arguing about her drinking and not being able to attend a wedding when things got physical.

Watson admitted to pushing the woman and cops found red marks on her chest.

Watson was arrested for misdemeanor domestic assault and was facing 12 months in jail.

But, Watson appeared in court on Tuesday and cut a deal with prosecutors in which he pled no contest to the charge ... and in exchange got probation.

He was also ordered to complete a 26-week battery intervention program. If he violates probation, the judge can throw Watson behind bars for up to a year.

If he completes the program and keeps his nose clean, the conviction will be expunged from his record.

Watson scored 14 goals and logged five assists in 76 games for the Preds last season.

The NHL and the Predators have said they were reviewing the matter. Unclear if they will impose a punishment as well.

Stormy Daniels' estranged husband went after her in a violent rage 6 months into their marriage, in front of their little girl ... and the alleged attack got him arrested.

Stormy and Glendon Crain, who filed to divorce her last week, got into a heated argument back in July 2015 at their suburban Dallas home, and according to police documents he hurled a large box fan at her. Stormy told cops she managed to dodge the fan, but then Crain shoved her down.

In the docs, Stormy says she went down hard and suffered a rug burn ... and then Crain started punching himself and pulling out his own hair. She told police Crain told her to call police, and added ... he didn't care if he went to jail because he'd hang himself.

All of this went down in front of the couple's 4-year-old daughter. Police say the little girl told the responding officer ... "My daddy pushed momma down."

Crain was arrested for assault causing bodily injury/family violence.

As we reported, Crain got a restraining order against Stormy last week to keep her away from him and their daughter.

The domestic violence charge was eventually dropped in March 2018 because Crain reportedly completed a pretrial rehabilitation program. That was just 2 weeks before Stormy's CNN interview.

The officer who arrested Offset did NOT do a field sobriety test, despite claiming he observed the rapper crossing a solid yellow line and then smelled weed in the car.

Offset's lawyer believes the traffic stop was bogus and the cop's true intent from the get-go was to search the Porsche he was driving.

It's standard practice in police departments around the country to conduct a field sobriety test when a motorist shows a lack of control over a vehicle and the officer has reason to believe the driver is impaired by either drugs or alcohol.

Law enforcement sources in the Clayton County Police Dept. would not comment specifically on Offset's arrest, but say it's often hard to prove in court that someone is driving under the influence.

Fact is ... the courts are littered with cases where people are convicted based on an officer's observations and a field sobriety test. Cops have the option to arrest the driver, take him or her to the hospital, get a warrant and draw blood. That didn't happen in Offset's case.

A high-ranking source in the Clayton County PD tells TMZ, the officers sometimes simply arrest the driver for weed, but Offset had less than an ounce, which is a petty offense. Driving under the influence is a far more serious offense, so the fact that a field sobriety test wasn't done here opens the door to questioning the validity of the traffic stop.

Jenelle Evans whipped out a handgun -- while her son was riding shotgun, btw -- and brandished it at a driver she says cut her off during a road rage incident.

MTV aired video of the incident on Monday night's "Teen Mom 2" and it shows Jenelle slam on her brakes suddenly, start yelling at the other driver ... and then reach for her gun under the driver's seat, and place it in her lap. Remember, her 8-year-old son, Jace, is sitting right next to her.

Jenelle stopped and got into an argument with the guy, yelling, "You were tailgating me, you dumbass!!"

According to the other driver, Jenelle followed him to his house and drove into his mailbox. He then appeared to make contact with Jenelle's vehicle, and that's when she pulled the gun.

MTV opted not to air video of her brandishing the gun during the April incident -- but it's clear they have the footage.

More trouble for ex-WWE superstar Brian Christopher Lawler -- aka Grandmaster Sexay -- who was arrested for DUI and evading cops in Tennessee earlier this month ... TMZ Sports has learned.

According to official docs obtained by TMZ Sports, cops spotted the 46-year-old pro wrestler speeding and swerving around 1 AM on July 7.

Cops attempted to pull him over, but Lawler failed to stop -- because, according to police, he was trying to make it home.

Once Lawler finally stopped, cops say he reeked of booze and had an open 12 ounce can in his center console. So, they arrested him on the spot.

Lawler -- formerly part of the tag team Too Cool with Scotty 2 Hotty -- was taken to a nearby station where he was booked for DUI and evading arrest. Bail was set at $40,000.

The arrest comes just 1 month after he was busted for allegedly running from a hotel bill in Memphis.

Cardi B is joining the chorus in the rap community over Offset's arrest and subsequent gun charges -- calling it a targeted attack from the hip-hop cops ... and vowing to stick with her man no matter what.

Sources close to the "I Like It" rapper tell us she's squarely in her husband's corner regarding his recent Georgia arrest, for which he was booked on two felony gun charges. We're told she's been echoing Offset's lawyer's claim that he was pulled over for doing nothing more than being a rich, successful black rapper.

Our Cardi sources say she's also been doubling down on what the attorney told us ... that the guns found by police did not belong to Offset, adding he doesn't own any firearms. We're told she doesn't believe he broke any laws.

We broke the story ... police say they pulled Offset over for crossing a double yellow line, but his attorney, Drew Findling, says that was just a bogus excuse to bust him. Cardi agrees.

Oh, and get this ... sources say Cardi's been telling friends she wouldn't leave Offset even if he were sentenced to prison.

Offset's been charged with two felony gun charges as well as some misdemeanors, so the possibility of jail time is certainly there on paper.

'Teen Mom' star Ryan Edwards is in a familiar spot -- back behind bars for alleged drug possession.

Ryan was arrested Monday in Hamilton County, Tennessee on an active warrant from a previous drug case. According to jail records, the charge is possession of a controlled substance, and no bail has been set.

This is the second arrest this year for the 'Teen Mom' dad. As we reported ... he was arrested in March on a warrant for violating probation.
