George and Amal Clooney have reached a milestone -- their 5-year anniversary -- and it seems their key to a happy marriage ... is finding joy in the difficult stuff.

The couple was leaving 4 Charles Prime Rib restaurant in NYC Thursday night on the eve of their big day, and we asked what the hardest part of being married is after half a decade ... and they were VERY amused.

It's hard to tell what's so funny exactly -- the question itself or the possible answers. Truth is, George and Amal both manage high-profile careers while also raising 2-year-old twins ... so maybe it's just humorous trying to narrow it down.

BTW, the Clooneys were joined at dinner by another high-profile couple -- best friends Cindy Crawford and her hubby, Rande Gerber, George's partner at Casamigos Tequila.

Bryce Harper's wife says Nationals fans went WAY TOO FAR with their heckling Wednesday ... claiming they chirped him about his newborn son -- and called it all "classless."

Harper is Public Enemy No. 1 in Washington after he left the team last season to get a huge payday (13 years, $330 MILLION) with one of the Nats' biggest rivals, the Phillies.

He's heard constant heckling every time he's returned to Washington to play his ex-team ... but in their game Wednesday, he says fans just crossed the line with their smack talk.

"I mean, I get it everywhere I go," Harper told reporters. "It’s nothing new, but the last inning -- it’s just not right. It’s just not right."

Bryce's wife, Kayla Harper, took to Twitter to clarify what the fans said ... claiming Bryce was forced to hear trash talk about his son -- who was just born last month.

"When you bring his son or family into it, yes you’re crossing a line," Kayla wrote. "Stick to your overused overrated and Harper sucks chants if you’re really that loser that goes to a game to heckle someone."

"Phillies fans might boo him but they don’t bring his 4 week old son into it. Classless."

Harper truly does get chirped everywhere he goes ... remember, even in his own home ballpark in Philadelphia, he had to tell a heckler to "shut the f**k up" before hitting a giant home run.

Harper says it's all getting a little out of control ... saying it doesn't feel a whole lot different from NBA and NFL players who have also grown tired of hearing the fans trash talk.

"It's just not good and just not right," Bryce said. "Everybody has a platform now whether it's Twitter, Instagram or in the stands. They kind of say whatever they want and that’s just how it is."

Ice-T says people need to relax about his wife, Coco, breastfeeding their almost-4-year-old daughter ... because it's not like it happens all the time.

The 'Law & Order: SVU' star was at the Paley Center in New York Wednesday when we asked about the blowup over Coco's recent Instagram post ... about how her daughter, Chanel, "still wants the boob" and she's seen feeding her on a private jet.

Of course, Internet folks had a field day and bombarded Coco with comments and criticisms ... but Ice-T's not having it. He says people are acting like Chanel only drinks breast milk for nourishment ... which is ridiculous.

Cassie and Alex Fine are officially husband and wife!!!

They got married Wednesday in Malibu, with director Peter Berg officiating. Berg posted, "By the power vested in me ..... long may you ride!"

As you know, Diddy's ex hooked up with Alex sometime after he became her trainer. Diddy believed they were romantically involved while he was still with her, although they deny that. Diddy was also pissed off because he paid Alex to train Cassie.

Cassie and Alex announced in June that they were expecting their first child together. They got engaged on August 27, so no time to plan a big wedding.

"Gypsy Sisters" star Kayla Williams' 1-year-old grandson is on a ventilator in the hospital after a scalding hot bath left his skin covered in second-degree burns.

Kayla tells TMZ ... the terrifying incident went down Sunday morning at her daughter Sissy's home in West Virginia when Sissy's son, Henry, was given a bath by his 7-year-old stepsister. Kayla says Henry's stepsister put him in the tub after letting hot water run without turning on any cold water, and the results were horrendous.

According to Kayla, Henry's stepsister quickly realized what she did and turned on the cold water, but it sent Henry into shock ... plus he was badly burned.

Jamie Spears withstood a fierce challenge by ex-wife Lynne Spears in the conservatorship battle over Britney ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with knowledge of Wednesday's court hearing tell TMZ, Lynne wanted Jamie out as conservator, but the judge rejected her claims. Lynne felt Jamie had done a poor job ... something she's been saying since the Free Britney movement last spring.

The judge decided Jamie should continue on as conservator of Britney's estate, meaning all of her business affairs. As we reported, Jamie has temporarily bowed out of handling the other part of the conservatorship -- taking care of Britney, her medical needs and so on. The case manager Jamie hired -- Jodi Montgomery -- has been appointed conservator until January, and that's when Jamie will retake the reins. He is still taking care of all of her business affairs.

Jamie has said he's temporarily stepping down because of medical issues, but we know another reason is that there's currently a restraining order that prohibits him from having any contact with Britney's kids -- this after he allegedly put his hands on 14-year-old Sean.

There are a few complications. We're told Britney hasn't spoken to Jamie since last month when the incident went down between him and Sean. Several sources say they actually weren't speaking even before that.

And, there's this. Several sources say Britney is not doing well. As one source put it, "She goes through cycles, and hopefully we're at the bottom now." We posted this video Friday of Britney at an awards ceremony for boyfriend Sam, and she was so uncomfortable she beelined it for the car before even walking into the event.

Kanye West wants his presence in Wyoming to be known far and wide -- it looks like he's hosting a mega Sunday Service this week, inviting all the townsfolk and their mom.

Ye's forthcoming Service is taking place at the Powwow Garden of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming -- where Kanye now owns a massive waterfront property, aptly named Monster Lake Ranch. Per local reports, the sign now reads "West Lake."

We already know he and Kim have made themselves at home -- getting acquainted with the local wildlife, to the chagrin of the Wyoming Game & Fish Dept. Now, it looks like Kanye wants to properly introduce the Wests to the community, 'cause his Sunday Service is being heavily advertised on a massive digital billboard, as well as on social media.

According to the venue's Facebook post about it, he's bringing out his "80-person choral group" for the performance -- so yeah, Kanye and co. are pulling out all the stops.

Preparations are currently underway for the free and public event, and it looks like they're expecting quite a turnout. Photos obtained by TMZ show a bunch of tents being set up Saturday ahead of Ye's Sunday Service, with catering and special event trucks in tow.

The Powwow Garden has a capacity of about 700 people -- 200 seated or 700 standing according to the Center's website -- but it's unclear how many people will actually show up. FYI, there are less than 10,000 people total living in Cody itself.

It's an interesting move on Kanye's part, as many of his Sunday Services of late have been relatively low-key -- not including the Chicago stop, of course. This appears to be the exact opposite of that -- pretty much a come one, come all approach.

Aaron Carter's family thinks they have the perfect plan in place to get their brother some serious help, but the truth is ... they don't.

Carter family sources tell TMZ ... their hope is that the protective order recently filed by Aaron's brother, Nick, is the ticket they need to get an appointment with a judge. From there, they hope to convince the judge to force Aaron into treatment.

Thing is ... there's no way legally a judge can do anything other than order Aaron to stay clear of Nick. Aaron is an adult and the decision to get help is vested in him and him alone. If he doesn't want help, there's almost nothing the family can do.

There is one thing ... in extreme, extreme cases, the family could go to court and ask for a conservatorship, where a conservator could essentially force treatment and remove any dangers from the home, like firearms. As we've extensively reported, that was the case with Britney Spears and Amanda Bynes, but in order for this to happen, there must be compelling proof the person in question can't care for themselves.

That said, our sources say Aaron's erratic behavior has set off alarm bells within his family, and they believe he's in the grip of a mental psychosis. Aaron's been publicly shaming his brother and dead sister, and his fam thinks it's a huge red flag.

Sources say Aaron's family members were behind the attempts to place him on several psychiatric holds ... something he hinted at on "TMZ Live." We're told they've also reported him to the ATF in hopes of getting his guns taken away. So far, no dice.

We broke the story ... Aaron says he's giving up his assault rifles, but not his pistol and shotgun.

As you know ... Aaron was on "The Doctors" recently, rattling off a laundry list of what he's been diagnosed with -- bipolar disorder and schizophrenia -- and showing off his medications. However, he's since walked back those claims.

Our sources say Aaron's family reached back out to "The Doctors" to see if they could get him help, but we're told Aaron refused an offer to meet with a psychologist. Fact is ... the show can't force AC to accept any kind of help.

TMZ broke the story, Nick Carter and his wife got a restraining order against Aaron earlier this week. Nick says he needed court-ordered protection from his little bro because he claimed Aaron told their sister, "I have thoughts of killing babies."

Surreal scene at Fenway Park on Wednesday ... Red Sox legend Carl Yastrzemski threw out the first pitch of the night to his grandson -- Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemksi!!!

The odds of seeing this moment are wild ... to have Mike be called up from the minors this year AND to have S.F.'s schedule put the team in Boston this season are incredible coincidences.

But, the two squads took advantage of the opportunity -- allowing 80-year-old Carl to hurl the first pitch to 29-year-old Mike before the Giants played the Sox in the 2nd game of their 3-game series.

The video of the interaction is spine-tingling ... Mike has a huge smile on his face the whole time, and Carl -- one of Boston's all-time greatest athletes -- is clearly loving the moment too.

The Yastzemski's shared an embrace in the middle of the diamond after throw ... and when the game ended, Mike called it all "special."

"Honestly, I was thinking about the last time we had played catch," Mike said. "I remembered a time probably during Thanksgiving when I must have been 7 or 8 at his house."

"Being able to relive that and to go through that again on this type of scale and to have such a warm welcome from everyone was really awesome."

Mike killed it in his debut in the same batter's box Carl used to play in ... so far in the series, he's 3-for-11 with a home run, 4 runs scored and 2 RBIs. His team's gotten both wins too!

Nick Carter says he had to protect his wife and unborn child from his brother because Aaron flat-out told their sister, "I have thoughts of killing babies."

That bombshell allegation is in the restraining order request Nick filed Monday in Las Vegas. In the docs, he says Aaron and their sister, Angel, were talking by FaceTime on August 7, 2019 ... and according to Angel, Aaron said, "I want to tell you something that I never told you before -- I was diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar 2 years ago."

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Angel asked Aaron if he heard voices ... and that's when he made the "killing babies" remark. Angel asked if he thought about killing anyone else, and she claims he said, "I think about killing Lauren Kitt" ... who is Nick's pregnant wife.

Aaron's then-girlfriend, Lina, was there during the convo and chimed in, "Angel, how do you think I feel with him sleeping with a sword next to him?" According to the docs, Aaron got upset and said, "Shut up Lina, you are next on my list."

Aaron and Lina have since had an ugly breakup. Worth noting ... cops were called the day after that FaceTime convo to conduct a welfare check on Aaron. We had reported it was a family member who called ... and in the docs, Angel admits it was her.

In his filing, Nick explains he needs the court-ordered protection from Aaron because he's afraid Aaron will listen to the "voices in his head and cause harm to my family." He also states, as far as he knows, Aaron owns 6 firearms, which he's known to keep "readily available."

In fact, Aaron was on "TMZ Live" this week and told us he had his guns loaded and ready when cops made yet another welfare check at his home this past Sunday.

As we reported, Nick was granted the restraining order which requires Aaron to stay away from Nick, Lauren, their son and Lauren's parents.

Britney Spears is expected to show up in court Wednesday for a conservatorship battle that multiple sources have described as "a fireworks show."

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Britney's mom, Lynne, will ask the judge to terminate Jamie as Britney's conservator. Currently, Britney's care manager, Jodi Montgomery, is the temporary conservator per Jamie's wishes, and he's expected to retake the reins on January 20. But, we're told Lynne thinks Jamie is no longer fit to continue in that role.

A critical piece of evidence is expected to be unveiled during the hearing -- the report by a court-appointed evaluator who spent months gathering evidence on the care Britney has received. The evaluator looked at Britney's primary doctor, Dr. Timothy Benson, who died unexpectedly on August 24, suddenly at age 48. We're told the evaluator put Dr. Benson and Jamie under a microscope, but so far it appears only the judge knows what's in the report.

The good news for Jamie ... the D.A. just rejected a child abuse case against him for the August 24 altercation he had with Britney's eldest son, 14-year-old Sean.

The bad news for Jamie ... he's still under a restraining order that prohibits him from having any contact with either of Britney's 2 children.

And, there's more bad news for Jamie ... we're told Britney's furious at him over his confrontation with Sean where he allegedly laid hands on him. Our sources say Britney hasn't spoken to Jamie since the incident. And, we're told there's a "strong likelihood" Britney will show up in court and support Lynne, with whom she's gotten close with over the last 6 months.

But, there's this ... we're told Lynne will not ask to become Britney's conservator. We know Lynne did not object to Jodi Montgomery as the temporary conservator, but we don't know how she would feel about making it permanent.

Someone involved in the case tells TMZ, there will be "major surprises" in court.

Aaron Carter's ex-girlfriend says he has a warped view of the world right now -- thinking his family is out to get him ... and that his toxic fans are his closest allies.

We got Lina Valentina Tuesday night outside the Dream Hotel in Hollywood, and asked if she was concerned about her ex-BF in the wake of concerns regarding Aaron's prescription medication, gun talk ... and his mental state.

She tells us she truly is, and explains exactly why. BTW, Lina and Aaron dated for about a year before splitting up a month ago -- so she has some interesting insights.

First off, Lina says Aaron's family is not the enemy here -- this, of course, after Aaron's older brother, Nick, obtained a temporary restraining order -- which got aired out all over social media, with Nick claiming Aaron threatened to kill his pregnant wife.

Aaron denied that ... and went on to say he wants nothing to do with Nick or his family. It's just the latest sign for worry in Aaron's life.

He came on "TMZ Live" over the past couple days defending his mental state, claiming he's more than stable ... and, more importantly, NOT going to surrender his firearms. He's had a couple police visits lately too -- with attempts to 5150 him, to no avail.

However, we've learned authorities are looking into a way to seize Aaron's guns for his own good through the use of an obscure California law. Unclear if it'll work.

Dog the Bounty Hunter understands he might need to make serious changes in his day-to-day life if he's going to be around for his family ... this after some tough love.

Sources close to Dog tell TMZ ... family members had a serious talk with him after his weekend hospitalization -- for what seemed like a possible heart attack -- and made it clear something's gotta give.

As we reported, it turned out to to NOT be a heart attack ... still, we're told Dog seems open to making some changes, but nothing is gonna come easy.

For starters ... he has been and continues to be a heavy smoker, which of course, is a leading cause of heart issues. We're told he's willing to try to cut back on cigarettes, but there's no talk of quitting.

TMZ broke the story ... after performing a bunch of tests, doctors determined Dog's chest pain was brought on by stress and blood pressure issues.

Our sources say Dog eats a ton of junk food -- so he's open to dietary changes as well. He's been very candid about his loss of appetite since Beth died -- but his family wants him to commit to getting on a strict and healthy diet.

We're told the family's hoping the health scare will shock Dog into making what they feel are the necessary changes.

Britney Spears' father will not face criminal charges after Kevin Federline accused him of abusing Britney's 13-year-old son.

The Ventura County District Attorney's Office says they found insufficient evidence to charge Jamie Spears after investigating Kevin's claim Jamie had roughed up Sean.

You'll recall ... Kevin alleged to cops Jamie broke down a door on August 24 to get to his grandson and grabbed him by his arms. The Sheriff's Dept. investigated and turned over its findings to the D.A.'s Office.

A lot's changed in Britney's world since Kevin made the allegation. While he was under investigation, Jamie said he needed to step aside from some of his duties as Britney's conservator. He filed docs to put Brit's care manager, Jodi Montgomery, the temporary conservator until at least January 2020.

Jamie said he needed to make the change due to his personal health issues -- but clearly the fact Kevin got a restraining order forcing Jamie to stay away from Britney's children ... would also hamper his duties to care for her.

Nick Carter says his brother, Aaron, has left him with no choice but to seek legal protection after he claims Aaron threatened to kill Nick's pregnant wife and unborn child ... though Aaron says he'd never harm family.

According to the temporary restraining order obtained by TMZ ... Aaron has to stay at least 100 feet away from Nick, Nick's wife, their kids and other family members, specifically their residence in Las Vegas.

Nick says both he and his sister were forced to seek the order against Aaron, "In light of Aaron's increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child."

A rep for Aaron tells us, "I am astounded at the accusations being made against me and I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family."

Aaron responded to Nick on social media after he filed the restraining order, saying he should send a cease and desist letter while he's at it. Aaron adds he hasn't seen Nick in 4 years, and they ain't planning on a reunion.

As we've reported ... Aaron's family has been super concerned with his mental state lately, and the singer has raised concerns over his own mental stability.

Nick says, "We love our brother and truly hope he gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else."

Aaron appeared on "The Doctors" and at least from the show, it seemed like he's suffering from anxiety, schizophrenia, multiple personality disorder and manic depression -- another term for bipolar.

L.A. County Sheriff's deputies recently went to Aaron's Lancaster, CA home for a welfare check ... and he claims they visited him again over the weekend and tried to place him on a 5150 psychiatric hold.

Aaron's been flaunting his gun collection -- he says he owns a 9mm handgun, 2 assault rifles and other firearms -- and we've learned cops are looking into an obscure law that could be used to take his guns away.

Aaron came on "TMZ Live" Tuesday disputing the notion he's struggling with his mental health, and telling his family to leave him alone.

Clearly, the feeling is mutual.

Mac Miller's fortune has officially been totaled up -- and the guy was worth over $11 million ... which will be split among his closest friends and family.

The rapper's estate filed new legal docs showing Mac's wealth has been appraised in full at about $11.3 million, including his personal property and cash on hand. A few of Mac's buddies are going to get a vast majority of his belongings -- including LOTS of jewelry and other cool stuff -- while his mom, dad and bro will get the rest.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Mac's trust left special instructions to give Bryan Johnson all of his clothing and electronics, specifically ... his TV, laptop, iPads, etc. Another friend named Q Chandler-Cuff is getting more than 20 pieces of jewelry ... valued at several tens of thousands of dollars.

His bud, Dylan Rectenwald, will be getting all of Mac's musical instruments and equipment -- MM was a known musician and producer, so he had his fair share of toys, including a $5,000 guitar. He also left a friend named Jimmy Murton his household furnishings.

As for Mac's family, he left them a whopping $5 million-plus in bank and brokerage accounts -- plus whatever else he had to his name.

Mac Miller died of an accidental overdose last year at the age of 26. His death resulted in the arrest of his alleged drug dealer, who the feds say provided him a lethal dose of spiked drugs.
