Green Bay Packers tight end Marcedes Lewis is packing up and moving out of his Hollywood condo ... and it's hitting the market for $1.4 million!!!

Of course, the 35-year-old NFL star played in Jacksonville for 12 seasons before joining the Pack in 2018 ... but has always had a place to hang his hat near his hometown of Long Beach.

TMZ Sports has learned ... Lewis is parting ways with his 2,000 square foot condo at the W Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard ... and it comes with a bunch of great features.

The 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom crib comes decked out with a full smart home system, 135" built-in movie screen in the master bedroom, massive custom closets with ceiling-high shoe racks, and a projection screen in the living room entertainment center.

On top of that, the new owner gets all the community perks of living at the W ... like a rooftop pool, fitness center and housekeeping.

If Jake Plummer were on the clock in the NFL draft and needed a QB ... he tells TMZ Sports he'd go with Justin Herbert over Tua Tagovailoa -- and says it's actually an easy choice.

"I would steer away from any damaged goods," the former NFL QB says.

Tua has battled SEVERAL key injuries in his 3-year Bama career ... most notably suffering a dislocated hip last November -- and Plummer says those are just too many red flags for him.

"I would be leery about injuries he's sustained already," Jake says of Tua. "They're not like a broken hand, or a sprained wrist, or something pretty similar. He's working with hips and he's had some problems with his knees, I believe."

Plummer says Herbert, meanwhile, doesn't have nearly the same question marks ... and, in fact, he thinks the Oregon QB might be the better overall prospect regardless.

Jake tells us he's worked out with Herbert in Los Angeles this year ... and has even spent time with him at the College Football Hall of Fame -- and would have no issues drafting the 22-year-old in the top 10.

"He's also a big lump of clay," Plummer says. "And, the right coach, the right system could mold him into what I believe could be almost the future of the QB position."

As for Jake's advice for rookies heading into the NFL after this week's selection process ... he's telling them to enjoy the family time for now -- because the NFL is a straight-up whirlwind.

By the way, Plummer's developed an app with his Ready List Sports company that he believes could help NFL teams develop their rookies MUCH faster than previous years!!

Browns LB Tae Davis says he was absolutely crushed after his great aunt and uncle tested positive for coronavirus ... and tells TMZ Sports their battle inspired him to step up and give back in a huge way.

"At the time when I first heard of it, I was devastated," Davis tells us. "It was just like a blow to me. I just remember just kinda freezing up, not really saying anything and just my mind went racing."

Davis tells us his family members played a pivotal role in his journey to becoming an NFL player ... and following the news, he knew he had the resources to do whatever he can to help those in need.

We're told the 23-year-old donated 500 meals to Meals on Wheels with his grandmother in mind ... knowing there are so many elderly people in need of food during the global pandemic.

When we asked Davis how it felt to give back during the crisis, he points out his loving family kept him focused on helping out whenever he could ... especially after making it big time.

"Without them, they all played a part of me being here today. As a kid, I always felt that if I was ever to have some type of platform, I would try to give back and help out any way I could and this was just the perfect opportunity to reach out and just try to help," Davis says.

Bill O'Brien is sick and tired of hearing about his awful DeAndre Hopkins trade ... and now he's begging fans to stop ripping him for the inexplicable move.

"The best thing I can tell the fans is to please ... I think we have to let it all play out!" the Houston head coach said Thursday. "Let it play out. Let the whole thing play out!"

O'Brien has been slammed for jettisoning D-Hop and a 4th-round pick to Arizona for David Johnson (plus his terrible contract) and some other draft picks ... with fans wondering what the hell he's doing with the Texans' roster.

FYI, Hopkins is arguably the best receiver in the league -- AND he's on a team-friendly deal -- while Johnson hasn't rushed for more than 1,000 yards since 2016.

But, Bill says he's got a master plan going ... and is pleading for patience.

"I would say let's review it a year from now," O'Brien says. "Two years from now. Three years from now. Let's let it all play out."

Bill told reporters he's seen some analytics that have made the trade make sense in his mind ... saying he feels "very good about the value that we got for the trade."

Awesome gesture by Kirby Smart ... the UGA football coach was one of hundreds of people at a local hospital Thursday who cheered on a Dawgs staffer that beat coronavirus after nearly dying from it.

The incredible scene all went down at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia ... where football team video coordinator Jeremy Klawsky had been the past few weeks fighting COVID-19.

Klawsky reportedly checked into the facility roughly 6 weeks ago, and, according to the Athens Banner-Herald, needed to be intubated shortly after because of complications with the virus.

The 32-year-old battled through it all, though ... and the scene at the hospital when he was finally released Thursday was moving.

Nurses, doctors, Smart and even UGA's athletic director all gave the guy a round of applause as he made it out of the treatment center.

"We are just thrilled that he is home," his mother, Sherry Klawsky, told the Athens Banner-Herald. "The hardest part of when he was on the ventilator is over. He's home now and he can start to get stronger and really move forward."

Brandon Marshall, Stefon Diggs, Jerry Jeudy and Jason Pierre-Paul have teamed up in a big way -- and it's to help the heroes battling the COVID-19 pandemic.

Marshall -- who's been coordinating the charity work through his House of Athlete company -- got the guys together to hit up hospitals down in Fla. on Wednesday ... and the gesture is pretty amazing.

Marshall tells TMZ Sports he's super grateful for what nurses, doctors and other medical personnel have done these few weeks to stop COVID-19 ... so he's giving back in a big way.

With the help of Raw Juce ... Marshall is donating thousands of meals, juices, acai bowls and smoothies to health staff -- and Diggs, Jeudy and JPP have all come along for the ride.

"It's important that our healthcare workers recover," Marshall says ... "We need them to be mentally and physically and emotionally strong for the rest of this fight."

Brandon tells us he believes a healthy diet -- similar to what NFL players eat to recover after tough games -- can help provide that ... so he and the guys are going to multiple hospitals this month to give back.

"Now more than ever," Marshall says, "they need to recover like athletes."

Odell Beckham Jr. didn't win much during the Browns' year ... but he's CRUSHING the offseason -- getting touchy-feely with his smokin' hot GF while hitting awesome trick shots!!

The Cleveland wideout and his model girlfriend, Lauren Wood, headed out to a sick backyard court this week ... and she played the best center we've ever seen during Odell's throwing sessions.

The couple has been officially together since November ... but they were a rumored fling long before that -- and seem awfully cozy during these quarantine times.

Which begs the question ... could she get a ring from Odell before he gets one with the Browns?!?!

Lamar Jackson isn't messing around when it comes to building his brand -- he's already trying to lock up the trademark rights for "Truzz" ... the same words he just had tatted on his chest.

Remember, Lamar's Baltimore Ravens teammate, Mark Ingram, began referring to LJ as "Big Truss" during his insane 2019 NFL season ... and the nickname stuck!

But, someone else made a run on the "Big Truss" trademark -- so Lamar called an audible, made some spelling changes ... and now, he's filled an application to own "Truzz," TMZ Sports has learned.

We know Lamar filed the application back in January -- right around the time he got his new body art.

Gotta applaud his creativity and being business savvy!

The new spelling even caught Ingram by surprise -- who says LJ is a "trendsetter" who has a knack for starting popular trends ... "so 2 Zs it is."

As for LJ's tattoo, we spoke with the artist, Lesly St. Clou, who tells us the ink was done at a private location BEFORE the COVID-19 quarantine began.

Move over, Ezekiel Elliott, there's a new highest-paid RB in the NFL -- it's Christian McCaffrey ... and he's making a whopping $16 MILLION a year!!!

Of course, Zeke took the title in September 2019 after a brief holdout ... securing a 6-year deal worth $90 million ($15 mil. a year).

But, the 23-year-old Carolina Panthers superstar just edged out Elliott with an extension announced Monday ... locking in a 4-year, $64 million deal ($16 MILLION a year).

The guy had been playing outta his mind the past 2 seasons ... and had more than 1,000 rushing yards AND 1,000 receiving yards in 2019.

CMC was previously on a 4-year rookie deal worth $17 million with a $10 million signing bonus ... so it's a big upgrade.

It's a lot of dough for a young kid ... and we're expecting his beautiful Miss Universe girlfriend, Olivia Culpo, will be treated to a nice dinner on the town once the coronavirus pandemic is over.
