Bob Dylan Lyrics For 2 Iconic Songs Up For $ale

Published

Two pieces of music history are hitting the open market ... the lyric sheets to a pair of Bob Dylan's most famous tracks ... and they're gonna cost six or seven figures!!!

The folks over at Moments In Time are selling Bob's original handwritten lyrics to his 1965 hits "Like a Rolling Stone" and "Mr. Tambourine Man."

The lyric sheet for 'Rolling Stone' carries a price tag of $1,375,000 ... while the words to 'Tambourine Man' are going to cost $425,000. So ya gotta have some pretty deep pockets.

Bob scribbled the lyrics on parchment ... and you can see a few of his original edits ... plus some cool doodles. Looks like he was feeling the song titles. FYI ... "Rolling Stone" magazine named 'Rolling Stone' the song as the single greatest song of all time. In 2021, the mag downgraded 'Rolling Stone' to #4, with "Respect" getting the top spot.

While both songs dropped way back in '65, they were featured on two different albums. 'Rolling Stone' was on "Highway 61 Revisited," while 'Tambourine Man' was on "Bringing It All Back Home."

We're told Bob's camp sold the lyric sheets to a collector over a decade ago ... and now they're going up for sale to the public ... or at least to those with enough funds to afford Bob's art.

HBO Sued Over Fire on Set ... Our Neighborhood's Now Unsafe

Published | Updated

HBO is being dragged to court over a fire that destroyed a set on a show ... because the folks who live next door claim the blaze ruined their homes.

HBO and the star, Mark Ruffalo, are being sued over the May 2019 fire that destroyed an upstate New York car dealership being used as a filming location for the miniseries, "I Know This Much Is True."

According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, a handful of folks who say they live near the burned down property claim the fire exposed them to harmful toxins and carcinogens, and damaged their homes.

What's more, the neighbors say the production team and HBO haven't done much to clean up the site of the blaze ... they say it's remained an "uncovered and unabated debris pile, toxin spill and wind-driven dust and gaseous dispersion."

The neighbors say HBO and Mark, who also serves as an executive producer are to blame for the fire ... claiming the film set was a powder keg due to kerosene, heating oil and other flammable materials being stored at the filming location.

In the docs, the neighbors say they suffered and continue to suffer physical and emotional injuries ... and they're seeking millions in damages.

HBO had no comment on the lawsuit.

Elon Musk Weighs In on Depp vs. Heard ... Jurors Staying Anonymous

Published | Updated

Elon Musk is speaking his piece on the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial -- this after being sucked into the middle of it -- and his parting sentiment to both is ... turn a new leaf, y'all.

The Tesla chief responded to somebody on Twitter who recapped their thoughts on the trial and the standout moments -- a tweet that you could, perhaps, interpret as anti-Amber -- with EM chiming in ... "I hope they both move on. At their best, they are each incredible."

That's an interesting take -- especially since he dated Amber briefly after her split from Johnny ... and, according to court testimony, also allegedly ponied up fat stacks of cash on her behalf.

On the face of this, you could argue that he sees both of them as deeply flawed ... but also notes a side to each that shines. Weirdly enough, we're not aware of any relationship Elon has with Johnny -- he only spent time with AH, it seems -- so his analysis is a bit cryptic.

As we all heard in this trial ... the COO for the ACLU, Terence Dougherty, testified about what Amber had (or hadn't, rather) donated since making her $3.5 million pledge in the wake of her divorce -- noting they'd only received a small chunk of change from her personally.

Now, Dougherty suggested Elon had donated at least $500k to the ACLU in Amber's honor. Ditto for the Children's Hospital ... another $500k there from Elon too, which also revealed in court. That's upwards of a $1M for a woman he was with for maybe a year. Yeesh ...

Elon was speculated to potentially testify in this case, but he was never called ... neither was Paul Bettany or James Franco, other men who got roped into this thing.

As for where we go from here ... the jury entered deliberations Friday without reaching a decision, so they'll pick it back up on Tuesday to decide once and for all who wins here. Speaking of the jurors -- Judge Penney Azcarate ruled they'd remain anonymous for a year.

She announced that decision Friday before reading the jury instructions -- this, per reports, following her ruling on a motion to do so ... which was apparently filed by Amber.

Shanna Moakler Anyone Wanna Buy a Used Engagement Ring?

Published | Updated

Shanna Moakler's marriage to Travis Barker is long gone, and she's finally decided to cash in.

Shanna's putting the engagement ring she got from her rocker boyfriend back in the day up for auction, and she stands to make a pretty penny.

The 4-carat bling could be yours, if you have a minimum of $51,000 ... that's the starting bid.

She says it's a symbol of moving on ... Travis has found other ways to symbolize moving on, as in marrying someone else.

Shanna told Us Weekly, "I think it is a beautiful piece and truly was my dream ring. However, that chapter of my life is over and even though wearing it at one time brought me great joy, I hope it will find a new home and continue to bring someone as much happiness as it once did to me."

The ring's Cartier, and it's being hawked for sale on Worthy.com. She's gunning for way more than $51k ... more than twice that. She says it's worth $160k, and would love to pocket $120,000.

As for timing ... Shanna says it has nothing to do with the fact er ex just tied the knot with Kourtney Kardashian. She told Us Weekly, "I'm sure people would assume that, but I simply wanted to find a proper seller and Worthy.com is the most professional and I know will give this piece the attention it deserves."

In case you forgot, Shanna and Travis got married back in 2004, they filed for divorce, got back together twice and finally threw in the towel in 2008.

Brian Austin Green Sharna Sells Her Home ... Movin' in with Him!!!

Published

"Dancing with the Stars" pro Sharna Burgess just sold her place in the Hollywood Hills ... because she's moved in with BF Brian Austin Green, as they expect their first child together.

Real estate records show Sharna recently sold her two-bedroom home in Beachwood Canyon for $1,555,000 ... less than three months after putting it on the market.

Sharna bought the place back in 2017, and it's 1,157 square feet with hardwood floors, beamed ceilings and breathtaking views of the Hollywood Hills from every room.

The main level features a fireplace in the living room and an updated kitchen with high-end stainless appliances, plus an eat-in island and an outdoor deck. The bedrooms are on the lower level, and the primary suite has a custom walk-in closet and a private patio.

As we reported ... Sharna is pregnant, making the announcement back in February with a photoshoot with Brian. They began dating shortly after Brian's divorce from his ex-wife Megan Fox. Our sources say Sharna is now living with BAG ... so she's saying goodbye to the bachelorette pad and plans to reinvest that money into another property.

Sharna bought the place in 2017 for $1.1 million, listed it in March for $1,395,000 with Linda Ferrari of Keller Williams Realty ... and sold it fast and for more than asking.

TALK OF THE TOWN

Rolando "Rolly" Romero, boxing star/financial advisor, has some advice IF you wanna make money ... bet the house on him when he fights Gervonta "Tank" Davis this weekend.

Or, "you gonna go broke!"

TMZ Sports talked to the 26-year-old, undefeated (14-0, 12 KOs) boxer ahead of his highly anticipated matchup with Tank (26-0, 24 KOs) ... with the WBA lightweight title on the line.

While both men are undefeated, the bout isn't even in oddsmakers' minds

In fact, Davis is around a -1,000 favorite ... meaning you need to risk a grand just to win $100 on Tank.

The inverse of that -- if you bet on Romero and he wins, you're going to make bank. And, that's exactly what Rolly says you should do.

"Go place your bet, make your money. I get rich, y'all get rich," Rolly said.

"The only people that don't get rich are dumbasses who bet on Tank. You bet on Tank, you're gonna go broke."

The 14-0 boxer is so sure of himself he's suggesting folks put everything on the line ... 'cause he's leaving the ring with the WBA belt.

PUTTIN' IN WORK

"I'm gonna tell everybody to bet everything they got 'cause the thing is, I'd bet everything I got because that's the thing is, I'd bet everything I got!"

But, don't think the advice is free, 'cause once he wins, Rolly wants something back in return.

"Everyone who bets on me is gonna thank me and honestly I hope everybody buys me a nice dinner after this s**t!"

"I'm gonna win. I'm gonna knock him out!"

EVERYBODY WATCH OUT

As for Tank, (as you'd imagine) he believes the fight will go a little differently ... and he told us as much when we talked to him on Thursday.

"It's gonna take some time to break him down because of his body size but he's definitely getting broke down for sure," Gervonta told us.

"He bruises easily. His face was messed up against someone who can't hit -- imagine me."

Who's right? Bout goes down Saturday night on Showtime PPV!

John Salley Defends Kyrie's Vaccine Stance ... He's A Thinker!!!

KYRIE'S THE REAL DEAL

Kyrie Irving has been ripped to shreds over his COVID-19 vaccine stance, but John Salley is coming to his defense ... telling TMZ Sports he tips his hat to the Nets star for standing up for what he believes in.

We spoke with Salley -- who won 4 NBA titles -- out in NYC this week ... and the former Detroit Piston spoke glowingly about Irving, who faced immense backlash this year for refusing to get the jab.

"I think Kyrie Irving is the premier athlete -- professional," Salley said. "I think he's conscious. I think he thinks it through. I think it's very important that people pay attention too, he's not into the lies, the glitz. He's into taking care of his body."

Salley said he knows Irving is into science and does his own research, but because his stance differs from the views of mainstream society ... people hate Kyrie because of it.

"I'm the biggest Kyrie fan," Salley added. "Everything he does, I take my hat off to him."

Of course, Kyrie received a lot of heat for his personal decision to remain unvaccinated despite being forced to miss games ... drawing criticism from the likes of Howard Stern and Chris Rock.

But, Salley isn't in the same camp -- he says the Nets did the right thing by standing by Kyrie amid the vaccine drama this season.

"You have a guy who didn't get the virus, and everybody who talked about smack about him got it really bad," Salley said. "He had a very strong immune system."

It's unclear if the Nets -- or Nike -- will commit to a long-term relationship with Irving in the future ... but either way, Salley thinks the 30-year-old is an exceptional talent.

"I watch how he plays. His dribbling, handling; he's going to be a Hall of Famer."

Luka Doncic Autographed Rookie Card ... ... Million Dollar Card?!

Published | Updated

An autographed Luka Dončić rookie card with an actual patch from a game-worn jersey is about to hit the auction block, and TMZ Sports has learned it could sell for 7 figures!!

The super-rare card -- soon headed to the PWCC Premier Auction -- is 1 of just 5 copies in existence. The last time a similar card sold, it went for a million bucks.

Officials at PWCC tell us this isn't just any ordinary NBA rookie card ... in fact, reps say the keepsake is one-of-a-kind due to the Emerald color scheme it boasts.

The front of the card features 23-year-old Luka shooting a jump shot ... along with the patch from his Mavs jersey.

Luka, the third overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, has become one of the most effective offensive players in the world ... he's virtually unstoppable.

Dončić, a native of Slovenia, has drawn parallels to NBA legend Larry Bird for his ability to score, rebound, and facilitate at an elite level -- in addition to the leadership skills he displays.

Despite only playing 4 full seasons, Luka is already 10th on the NBA's all-time triple-double list -- with 46 -- behind Bird, who's ahead of him at 9th on the list.

And, PWCC exec Jesse Craig says the card could actually end up being a bargain.

"The question now is if he can win a ring. If he leads Dallas to a championship – or to multiple championships – the demand for his assets is likely to keep going up. To find this card, in this low of quantity, right now is an incredible opportunity.”

Auction begins June 2. Good luck!

Giudice clearly isn't intimidated by Caroline, telling us, "She didn't knock the s*** out of me the entire time she was on the show, that's why I'm still there and she's not." She says Caroline's just using her name for clout, adding, "She's promoting her son's podcast so she talks about me because otherwise, no one is paying attention."

Texas School Shooting Bulletproof Backpacks in High Demand

Published | Updated

Parents are doing anything to keep their kids safe on the heels of another school mass shooting -- and that means an all-new run on bulletproof backpacks.

Former Secret Service agent, Mike De Geus, is the founder and CEO of Leatherback Gear, and he says his company has seen an 800% spike in sales for their fortified knapsacks since Tuesday's shooting in Uvalde, Texas.

Mike, who protected former Presidents Trump, Obama, Bush and Clinton when he was a Secret Service agent, says his brand's backpacks offer the same amount of bulletproof armor he had when he was protecting POTUS.

We're told most of the sales are for a $249.99 Sport One Jr. backpack that separates into two pieces, creating a bulletproof vest in seconds, covering the user's front and back.

Mike says the backpack was designed with active shootings in mind.

Another bulletproof backpack manufacturer, TuffyPacks, says it's seeing a noticeable uptick in sales for armor inserts that can go inside any bag. Owner Steve Naremore says the products are being shipped all over the country, with sales up 300%.

It's interesting ... TuffyPacks is based in Texas and they say they work with several school districts across the country, but not the one in Uvalde, where 19 students and 2 teachers were gunned down.

A third company, Guard Dog Security, says it's seen an increase in demand from consumers and retail partners who carry their bulletproof bags, including Lowe's and Dick's Sporting Goods.

The company's president, Yasir Sheikh, tells TMZ the brand donates a portion of its proceeds to Make Our Schools Safe, an organization founded by the parents of a student killed in the 2018 Parkland shooting in Florida.

Notably, these bulletproof bag sales also surged after that tragedy.

Don McLean 'American Pie' Singer Drops Out of NRA Convention

Published | Updated

The National Rifle Association will be without one of its performers this weekend ... singer Don McLean will no longer play at the event after the elementary school shooting in Uvalde.

McLean tells us, "In light of the recent events in Texas, I have decided it would be disrespectful and hurtful for me to perform for the NRA at their convention in Houston this week. I’m sure all the folks planning to attend this event are shocked and sickened by these events as well. After all, we are all Americans."

He continues, "I share the sorrow for this terrible, cruel loss with the rest of the nation."

McLean, the voice behind the 1971 hit, "American Pie," was one of several performers scheduled to take the stage in Houston this weekend -- some of the others include Lee Greenwood, Danielle Peck and Larry Gatlin.

As we reported, 19 children inside a 4th-grade classroom and two teachers were killed when an 18-year-old gunman opened fire with an AR-15.

Of course, there's still a ton of pressure on Texas government officials, including Governor Abbott, to move the event out of the state. Houston is about 250 miles from Uvalde.
