It's a bird, it's a plane, it's Superman ... no it's a FLYING DOG jumping from a window and sticking the landing like a straight-up boss!!!
Check out this AMAZING video of a crazy athletic pooch bounding through a window and landing several feet down on the grass below ... and somehow the pup walked away unscathed.
The adorable pooch is going viral after its owner posted video of the death-defying jump ... and she says her dog is doing just great after the wild stunt.
We've all been there in quarantine right ... ready to jump out a window at a moment's notice out of pure boredom and stir craziness ... but this four-legged superstar actually did it ... and lived to tell the tail tale.
The sound before the jump is hilarious, the landing is even better, and the nonchalant scurry down the sidewalk is the icing on this crazy cake.
Quick ... get this dog a cape, a bone and some treats!!!
With a little bit of elbow grease and ingenuity, this grandpa has figured out how to help his grandson cope with quarantine boredom ... a homemade, backyard roller coaster!!!
This guy's gotta be a contender for Gramps Of The Year ... building his grandkid a super sweet roller coaster with his own bare hands ... and the ride looks smooth as hell.
Grandpa's not just handy, he's also pretty ingenious ... check out the trashcan securing the end of the coaster, and the custom wooden wheels on the kid's plastic toy car.
The rest of the building materials are pretty simple -- wood and cinder blocks. But, you definitely have to be a master craftsman to pull it off.
Sure, Six Flags, Disney World and pretty much every amusement park is closed due to coronavirus restrictions ... but who needs 'em when you've got a coaster in your own yard!!!
This is not what Katy Perry meant ... 50 cars filled with folks who seemed to have Independence Day on their minds, blocked traffic on the 5 Freeway Friday night for a fireworks show.
It went down in Norwalk, near downtown L.A. It was clearly choreographed. Unsuspecting drivers had nowhere to turn as explosive sounds filled the night.
Aside from the fact that it's kind of a bonehead move to do this to drivers in the middle of all this craziness, the show was pretty cool.
It went down at around 10 PM and as fast as it started, it was over. They clearly knew if they hung around there would be consequences. It's illegal to set off fireworks in L.A. County with certain exceptions for controlled displays ... and this clearly wasn't one.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. showed up, but a little too late. We're told so far, no suspects.
Pedicures feel good, but they apparently feel REALLY good to this bulldog ... who couldn't resist climbing on top of his doggy groomer as she tried to trim his nails.
This doggone funny video comes from Shampoochie Pet Grooming in Granbury, Texas ... where the pooch was brought in for some maintenance.
Things were going smoothly at first for the young lady groomer, Kali Lander, but as she made her way to the bulldog's hind legs ... he got WAY too excited and hopped on her back.
After mounting the poor girl, who's hilariously pleading for help, the shop's owner made her way over to help and force the forceful pup down off.
Lander says the rascally bulldog is normally a little bit of a difficult customer, but this time was different ... and the funniest thing ever.
Well this is not going to paint a pretty picture of Florida ... nevertheless, just enjoy.
For some strange reason, at least 4 men at a Tampa Home Depot got heated in the loading zone right outside the store Wednesday and began brawling ... using paint cans as weapons.
At one point, one of the tools picks up a shovel or large garden tool and swings it at another ... but the majority of the action is between a hefty paint-covered man and a smaller guy.
The beefy boy charges at the little dude while slapping at him, but the smaller man holds his own and eventually chucks a can full of white paint at him ... forcing a retreat.
The big fella's not done, though -- he attacks another guy with some violent swings before things finally cool down ... leaving several men, the parking lot and a pickup truck sloppily covered in paint.
What's wilder ... the men reportedly all know each other and work together, and declined to press charges. It's unclear what led to the messy mayhem or if Home Depot will take any action against the crew.
So, no charges, no social distancing ... and hopefully no refunds on the paint. Florida on!
A Domino's Pizza delivery guy who let his frustrations get the best of him and dropped a couple f-bombs on 2 teens who didn't tip their driver is now out of a job.
We broke the story ... the father of the 2 kids told us he let his daughter use his credit card to order some grub from Domino's, but when she signed for it, she mistakenly left the tip line blank. When the brother handed the driver the receipt, he was pissed ... and unloaded on him.
TMZ.com
The dad tells TMZ ... he called Domino's that night and lodged a complaint ... the following day both the GM and owner of that franchise called to apologize to him and his kids.
On top of that, we're told the area supervisor and the store manager personally paid a visit to the family's home to deliver some gift cards for their trouble -- a $200 prepaid gift card for each teen, and a $100 Domino's gift card for the fam.
Not such a happy ending for the delivery driver though ... he got the ax.
The owner of the Domino's says the decision was made after reviewing the video and investigating the incident. The owner tells us ... "I am a small franchisee that is locally owned and operated, and we always strive to do what is right."
So, we guess the moral of the story is -- tips are appreciated ... but don't lose your cool, and your job, if you don't get one.
This disturbing video comes from the Middle East, where the insects are swarming on a highway so badly ... it's affecting visibility and bringing traffic to a near halt.
The ghastly sight -- of biblical proportions, some might say -- is scarily becoming a more common occurrence in the Middle East, South Asia and parts of eastern Africa ... where billions of the hungry locusts are threatening to cause famine.
These desert bugs feast on crops in the area and are leaving a trail of destruction and destroying food supplies. Food and health officials are worried the locusts -- along with the COVID-19 crisis -- could lead to more people starving to death.
In a prime example of horrible timing, the locusts are reportedly the worst they've been in decades in countries like Kenya, Somalia and Ethiopia ... and are ravaging thousands of acres of crops in Yemen, Pakistan and India.
To get a clearer picture of how horrific the situation is ... officials reported a layer of dead locusts piled 6 inches high after an area was sprayed with pesticides.
Yuck, yikes and dear Lord!!! Never a good time for a locust swarm, but this is a particularly BAD time.
The eagle has landed in D.C. for 'Tiger King' star Joe Exotic, whose legal team is hoping they can get the President's ear ... and they even got their elevator pitch down to a tee.
Eric Love -- who's heading up the team of top-notch attorneys out of Fort Worth, TX -- came on ''TMZ Live'' Wednesday with a major update on their cross-country road trip down to the nation's capital, in hopes of receiving presidential pardon for Joe from Donald Trump.
He says they've finally arrived, and are out cruising the town parading their huge bus around ... ya know, the one with the piercing "PARDON JOE EXOTIC" wrap on both sides.
Anyway, that's not even the biggest news from their touching down -- Eric claims DT's aware of their presence. Citing his own sources, Eric says Trump and some of his fam know the dealio -- Secret Service does too, apparently -- but there's still no guarantee of getting a meeting with the guy at this point. Not to worry, though ... they're staying hopeful.
4/8/20
C-SPAN
We also asked Eric to dish out a mock 30-second spiel on why Joe should get sprung. Watch ... sounds like Eric's gonna appeal to Trump's sense of being wronged and targeted.
Knowing 45 the way we think we do by now -- something tells us it could work, if he'll listen.
A kid in Georgia chased down a FedEx truck and begged the driver to send his favorite skateboard to his favorite skater Tony Hawk.
The problem? The FedEx driver has no idea where Tony Hawk lives!
So, the driver made a TikTok video hoping the universe would conspire to help connect this kid to his hero ... and what happened next is AWESOME!!!
The kid's name is Cooper -- and he's such a TH fan, he scribbled the skate legend's name on his own board.
When Tony saw the video, he not only sent Cooper a very cool video message back -- but already made plans to ship Coop his own Tony Hawk-used board to have forever!!
The videos are great, they might even make you tear up a bit (in a good way)!
Classy move from Tony. Congrats to Cooper ... but also, HUGE PROPS TO THE FEDEX DRIVER!!!
A Domino's Pizza delivery guy let frustration get the best of him over a zero-tip order ... with video showing him going off on a couple of teenagers, but their dad tells us it was all just a huge misunderstanding.
The father of the 2 teenagers tells TMZ ... he was recently out of town when his 13-year-old daughter back home in Albuquerque called him, asking if she could place a sandwich order with Domino's.
The dad said sure, and he gave her his credit card info over the phone. He says she placed the order, but when the delivery arrived, the teen signed the receipt and left the tip amount blank ... thinking the delivery charge was the driver's tip.
That's where the video starts. The dad said it was his daughter's first time signing for a credit card and clearly she was just confused. He says she handed the receipt to his older teenage son, who then handed the receipt to the delivery man wearing a protective mask ... 'cause, y'know, the pandemic and all.
You can see the delivery guy -- unclear if he's a teenager himself or an adult -- sarcastically tell the teenage son, "Thanks for the tip." The teenage boy shrugs him off, but this appears to set off the delivery guy who calls the teenage son a "douchebag" and tells him, "f*** you, bro."
The teenage son laughs but reiterates he didn't place the order and appears to shift the blame to his sister. The delivery guy claps back, "Well, tell her. I don't make f***ing money if I don't get tipped ... I just brought you your [order] with my gas."
The kids continue laughing, but the dad makes it clear -- especially in these times it's important to tip service workers. The dad said, "On top of all this, the order was wrong. She ordered a sandwich but received cheese bread. Go figure."
Jason Wahler is lending a helping hand to grief-stricken families amid the COVID-19 crisis with something that goes a long way these days during quarantine ... free therapy.
The 'Hills' star has teamed up with singer Hilary Roberts and her organization, Red Songbird Foundation, to launch a campaign called #GiveGriefAChance just earlier this month, which aims at helping out those who've lost loved ones during the virus.
They're gifting free therapy sessions to those who weren't able to mourn traditionally because of the pandemic, and the mass shutdowns that followed -- which majorly impacted interments and funeral services just about everywhere. Without a proper goodbye ... closure is extremely difficult.
We're told Jason and Hilary have partnered with several master-level therapists from across the country to provide the free services -- which are done via Zoom -- and they're extending the offer through June 1 because it's become so popular.
The gesture compliments another great thing Hilary's doing ... she's donating 50% of the proceeds from her recent single, "Just Let Go," to those same grieving families. RSF has also doled out over a million bucks in scholarships to folks suffering from a number of afflictions, like substance abuse, trauma and mental health in general.
As for the pro bono virtual couch time, people still have about two weeks to fill out an app.
One Costco employee did what a lot of folks might be hesitant to do in these strange times -- putting his foot down over a face mask policy ... and kicking out a defiant customer.
Check out this video the guy shot of someone who appears to be a Costco manager recently giving him the boot when he tried walking up to the registers without a face covering. That's the new safety rule, Costco requires all shoppers and employees to wear one inside.
We gotta give this soldier, Tison, props for keeping his cool in the face of an unruly shopper, who tried shaming him by recording and blasting him on social media. But, Tison explained precisely why he was taking away the guy's cart, and then did exactly that.
The dude behind the camera said he was breaking Costco's rule because it's a free country and he's "not a f**king sheep." The rant didn't work though ... Tison took his crap and calmly walked away.
What's crazier is what happened later ... this pissed off Costco member hopped back online when he was home -- shirtless, no less -- and continued to rail against the "system." He claimed all this new must-wear-masks business is just about control, etc.
Although he was a total jerk about it, the fact is this guy is hardly alone in taking this stance against face masks. Hell, President Trump is pretty much the poster boy for the movement.
Of course, scientists are saying it until they're blue in the face ... the simple act of putting on a mask helps prevent the spread of the virus, and therefore, saves lives.
Apparently, wanting people to live makes you a sheep. Baaa!!!
There's little more intense than watching a high-wire act, but when you add in a daring rescue all bets are off -- thankfully, monkeys are pretty good at this stuff.
This high drama played out in northern India when somehow a little primate found itself in a precarious situation ... stranded on some power lines too far from a rooftop to jump back to safety.
As the baby monkey struggled to hold on and cried for help, its mother got busy working on a rescue plan, and mustering up the courage to risk her own life.
After a couple tense minutes, and another anxious monkey from the pack coming over to watch, the mama finally made the leap -- but she had to abort the plan and reassess.
Her second attempt went much better, though ... and she quickly scooped the babe up in her arms and jumped back to the roof safely. Whew!!
No biz like show biz, but monkey business is pretty damn entertaining.
And, we know what you're thinking -- we know it's the mama monkey, because papa monkey went out for smokes.
2:21 PM PT -- Jason's got a new smile that's left him looking like a new man ... with all his teeth intact once more.
UPDATE
UPDATE
Shortly after posting his corn on the cob mishap earlier the day, JD was spotted cruising around town with a bandana over his face -- which he promptly pulled down for photogs ... flashing a set of brand new pearly whites.
UPDATE
Take care of those, bud ... no more incisor stunts, please.
Jason Derulo's heading back to the dentist, 'cause he's gone and chipped his teeth again -- for real this time, it seems -- with a crazy stunt involving corn ... and a power drill.
The singer was attempting to nosh on some kernels, straight off the cob, by employing what he called a "life hack" -- apparently, people have been stabbing corncobs onto drill bits and pulling the trigger to rotate it and eat it faster. All for the love of TikTok. Really.
Welp, it turned out to be more of a tooth hack than anything else for JD -- who quickly screamed out in pain as he was revving it up, only to pull back and reveal his 2 front teeth got snagged clean off by the spinning cob.
It looks SUPER painful.
TikTok / @jasonderulo
We should note ... Jason had another major missing-tooth incident just earlier this month -- a fake one, apparently -- when he did a handstand by his pool. When he fell in he emerged to show he'd "broken" one of his front teeth.
A word of advice for Jason, who seems to be getting a little too much of a kick outta these gross-out teeth vids ... CHILL, BRO! That, or invest in sturdier chompers. 😬
Video of Ahmaud Arbery getting frisked and patted down by cops in 2017 might say a lot about Glynn County PD's attitude toward black people ... keeping in mind Gregory McMichael was once a member of that force.
The video shows 2 officers questioning Ahmaud after finding him alone in his car, in a Brunswick, GA park in November 2017. The officers asked to search his car, and the scene got intense when he said no and stepped toward his car. The officers immediately told him to stop and get his hands out of his pockets.
Despite the fact Ahmaud immediately obeyed their orders -- and had his hands in the air -- one officer pulled his taser and fired it. Now, the weapon malfunctioned, but Ahmaud was already getting down on the ground anyway.
About two minutes earlier, the officers had asked for ID, and Ahmaud complied and explained he'd been rapping in his car on his day off. When the officer came back with his license, Ahmaud said, "I ain't got s**t on me. What the f**k you f**king with me for?"
The officer told him the area was known for drug activity and then proceeded to frisk Ahmaud for weapons. He had nothing on him, and there was nothing illegal about him parking in the area.
Still, the officer wanted to search his car ... and that's when the attempted-tasing went down ... despite the fact, they already knew he had no weapon on him.
He was not arrested or cited for anything.
The question now ... is the video, first obtained by the Guardian, relevant to Ahmaud's murder? You could argue it shows the Glynn County PD harassing a young black man who was guilty of nothing more than sitting in his car.
Of course, one of his accused murderers, Gregory McMichael, is a retired detective with GCPD, who we know now told police to have at least one resident contact him directly if there was any sign of an intruder.
FEBRUARY 2020
On the other hand, this police stop -- harassment or not -- is a completely different situation from what Ahmaud faced on February 23 ... when 2 armed white men, Gregory and his son, Travis McMichael, ambushed him in the middle of a road.
Neither is active law enforcement, nor were they in any uniform.
6:11 AM PT -- 5/19 -- The man who turned himself in and was then booked in connection to the hit-and-run captured on video is 30-year-old Aamir Mohammed, who facing a bunch of criminal charges ... so say cops.
UPDATE
UPDATE
Mohammed was booked for two counts of aggravated battery (while using a deadly weapon and causing great bodily harm, respectively), one felony count of failure to report an accident/injury, a misdemeanor count of leaving the scene and one last misdemeanor count of driving with a never-issued license.
UPDATE
He posed for this mug shot when he surrendered to police over the weekend.
A Grubhub driver is accused of running over a Chicago restaurant worker after he allegedly threw a fit when asked to socially distance -- now, cops say he's turned himself in.
The wild incident was partially captured on video from Friday evening out in the Lakeview neighborhood, where Angenita Tanner -- owner of Ms. T's Southern Fried Chicken on Chicago's northside -- was seen arguing with a purported Grubhub driver she and her staff had apparently just gotten into it with inside, all because he wouldn't follow directions.
Tanner says the guy showed up to pick up a delivery for a Grubhub customer, but when Tanner told him to wait outside since she only lets one person in at a time ... he allegedly started losing it and caused a ruckus, kicking the door and storming out -- per Tanner.
She, her 24-year-old daughter, Bijan Early, and at least one other employee who whipped out his camera followed the dude to get his license plate and call the cops. An argument ensued as Tanner went back and forth with the guy, while Bijan stood in front of his car.
You can see what happens next here -- the guy is seen accelerating and hitting Bijan before the clip quickly cuts out. According to Tanner, the incident did not end there -- she told police the man completely ran Bijan over, sending her to the hospital with serious injuries.
Tanner says Bijan suffered multiple broken bones and had to go into surgery -- fortunately, it sounds like she's going to recover. Meanwhile, Chicago PD says someone has turned themselves in over the alleged crime. No further info on the perp is immediately available.
As for Grubhub, they condemned the alleged hit-and-run ... saying they've revoked the driver's credentials and are working with cops to provide any necessary info for the investigation.
