Stephen A. Smith deleted a tweet where he rhetorically asked if Kim Kardashian/Kris Jenner were involved in turning tricks -- despite talking about exactly that in his latest podcast.

Here's the deal ... SAS went live Friday night with the latest episode of "The Stephen A. Smith Show" -- where the ESPN personality talks about a number of issues, unrelated to sports. In the one from last night ... he decided to bring up Kim and Kris as a topic.

Specifically, he discussed a clip from back in September -- in which Candace Owens was digging into Ray J's claims that Kris brokered the infamous sex tape between him and Km.

You'll recall ... he went into all the alleged nitty-gritty about what he claims went down way back then -- saying Kris was fully privy to what they were doing, and claiming she essentially orchestrated it all behind the scenes. Ditto for Kim, he says ... alleging she was in on it too.

At the time, Candace talked about that on her own show (again, back in September) ... and she floated the blunt allegation that, in her view, Kris had operated as a "pimp" in that instance. She also called Kim a "prostitute" in that clip ... and now, for some, reason Stephen thought it'd be a good time to weigh in on this himself. Objectively, it's old news.

He got into a little bit of trouble, though ... because, in teasing this episode, he tweeted ... "Is Kim Kardashian a 'prostitute'? Is Kris Jenner a 'pimp'?" He followed that tweet up with yet another, trying to add context, in which he explained that's what Candace Owens thinks.

Unfortunately, the damage was done ... because none other than Patrick Beverly came to Kim's defense -- saying she's a mother, and that SAS shouldn't talk about her like that.

Stephen replied, saying Pat was right ... and attributing his tweet to a "clerical error." He deleted the tweet -- but the actual clip of him talking about this exact topic is still up on YouTube ... and guess what ... the dude appears to somewhat agree with Candace, assuming what Ray J says is, in fact, true ... as he clarifies in his breakdown of her argument.

His sister, who was on as a guest, also kind of agreed on that front. She said if the claims against Kris were true ... she can see where Candace was coming from. She does defend Kim though. All in all ... it's not a great look. Not only do they entertain the topic, but they seem to support Candace's take.

Carlee Russell is now facing criminal prosecution, and it's all because police say she completely fabricated that wild kidnapping story ... prompting a massive, and expensive, search.

Prosecutors in Hoover, Alabama just charged Carlee with 2 misdemeanors -- false reporting to law enforcement authorities and falsely reporting of an incident. Each charge carries up to one year in jail.

Hoover Police Chief, Nick Derzis, said Carlee turned herself in and was released from jail Friday after posting $2,000 bond.

As you know, Carlee called 911 earlier this month when she was driving down the interstate to report a toddler wandering alone on the roadside. She got out of her car and then disappeared for 2 days ... before showing up at her parents' house without so much as a scratch on her.

Since then, police have said their investigation shows there was no toddler on the highway, and Carlee was not abducted -- as she and her parents claimed -- and then Carlee finally admitted it was all a phony story.

Prosecutors tell us they still don't know where Carlee was during the roughly 48-hour period she was off the grid -- ditto for police, who spent tons of money and resources searching for her.

After Carlee copped to the load of BS, her boyfriend slammed her for her lies, and said he's now her ex-BF -- a move that came after he initially defended her, as he also bought her kidnapping lie.

Whatever Adrien Broner did in Las Vegas, he's in DEEP trouble with his girlfriend now ... 'cause he's sharing his most sincere apologies with TMZ Sports -- saying, "None of these bitches got nothin' on you."

We caught up with AB following Thursday's press conference for the Errol Spence and Terence Crawford fight ... and while he's hyped up for the epic showdown, there was something else eating him up inside.

"I got into it with my girl," he told us before issuing a direct mea culpa to his lady. "I wanna say Trea'Jure, I love you, I'm sorry. I don't know what happened. I love you."

We did some digging on the drama ... and it seems like AB might be referring to an interview he did earlier in the day, when he repeatedly asked a female reporter for her number.

Trea'Jure appeared to respond on Instagram ... saying, "Lmao [I don't care] about that damn interview! Adrien is single ok. That's what he's supposed to do tf"

"I hope he gets plenty numbers I'm rooting for him."

The whole "single" thing might be news to AB ... 'cause in his apology, he made sure Trea'Jure knew he was a faithful, one-woman man.

"None of these bitches got nothin' on you," AB said. "I'ma just be out here jackin' my d***."

Vic Mensa's being sued by an ex-landlord, who claims he's way behind on rent ... but the rapper says the landlord was operating an unsafe building, which led to a terrifying incident for Vic's girlfriend.

Attorney George Georgopoulos filed the suit on behalf of the property owner and claims while Vic was highlighting a flashy lifestyle on social media -- pics of fancy watches and sports cars -- he was failing to pay his rent.

According to the lawsuit, Vic now owes $8,340 in rent and late fees.

Georgopoulos adds, his client “is left holding the bag of paying real estate taxes, maintenance, and other costs for the building while Vic Mensa continues to use and occupy the space without paying rent.”

However, a rep for Vic says the landlord's way outta line here ... telling TMZ the landlord actually "put the lives of Vic Mensa's family in danger, particularly his girlfriend." He points to a March incident when cops say someone broke into the place when his girlfriend was home alone.

Police records confirm a man was arrested and charged for breaking in to the apartment -- and court records show that suspect has also been previously arrested multiple times for battery, and for violating the sex offender registry.

Vic thinks the landlord failed to take adequate security measures around the building despite numerous requests, so he moved out immediately after that incident ... and, yes, stopped paying rent, because he no longer lived there.

Selena Gomez's organ donor says there's no bad blood between them ... but as for their relationship status, it's not so cut and dry.

Francia Raisa was in West Hollywood on Thursday when a photog asked her about Selena wishing her a happy birthday the day before ... which seemed to be an olive branch amid their falling out.

Francia says she got a lot of birthday messages and appreciates everyone who sent one ... but she's not singling out Selena here.

When Selena posted the birthday note on Instagram, Francia was not following her fellow former child actor ... but she's since followed Selena back.

Check out the video ... Francia initially laughs off a question about them being on good terms ... but when asked again later, she tells the photog there is no beef between them.

Remember ... Francia revealed their friendship was broken once Selena said in an interview that the only person in Hollywood she was close to is Taylor Swift.

Francia, who donated a kidney to Selena in 2017, took offense and unfollowed Gomez ... and later claimed she was being bullied online by Selena fans.

Megan Fox is firing back at the people who are blasting her for sharing a GoFundMe for her friend's cancer-stricken father ... saying the haters don't understand the full story or her relationship with the friend.

The actress took to social media Thursday to explain why she is helping crowdfund for her nail technician's ailing father ... instead of ponying up the money herself, as some folks online think she should.

Megan says her nail tech didn't want her money because it would create an uncomfortable dynamic in their working relationship ... and ditto for the woman's other celeb clients.

In her IG story, Megan also questions her haters' emotional intelligence ... and ends by calling them psychos.

As we reported ... after Megan shared the GoFundMe, donations started to pour in ... but some folks questioned why Megan was asking other people for money instead of just covering all the medical expenses herself.

Lando Norris is issuing a mea culpa after accidentally destroying Max Verstappen's Hungarian Grand Prix trophy last weekend ... vowing to be more cautious with his celebrations moving forward.

The 23-year-old McLaren driver -- who finished second in Sunday's race -- went viral when he knocked the reigning champ's new hardware off a platform after slamming down his champagne bottle during their podium party.

Lando initially cracked jokes about the whole mishap ... saying Max should've been more careful with his prize.

But the young star has since had a change of heart ... owning up to his mistake in an interview ahead of this weekend's Belgian GP.

"I obviously had no intention in ever doing such a thing," Lando said Thursday. "I know how much it means to the Hungarians and part of their culture and so forth ... and I did apologize to Max."

Lando acknowledged he probably shouldn't have made funny comments after the incident ... admitting he'd be annoyed if it happened to his trophy.

"I do apologize for it and obviously to the people who put the time and effort into making it, I really didn't mean for it to happen. I'll make sure I'm a lot more careful next time."

Selena Gomez appears to be extending an olive branch to her organ donor and one-time friend, Francia Raisa, wishing her a happy birthday after their recent falling out.

Selena took to social media Wednesday to wish Francia happy birthday, posting what appears to be an old photo of them along with the caption ... "Happiest of birthdays to this special human beings. No matter where life takes us, I love you. ❤️ @franciaraisa."

It's a noteworthy post from Selena ... Francia recently revealed their relationship was broken ... so this could be a sign Selena wants to patch things up.

The outstanding issue ... Francia took offense to an interview where Selena said the only person she was close to in Hollywood was Taylor Swift.

Selena's answer didn't sit right with Francia, because the two former child actors go way back and she donated a kidney to Selena in 2017.

Francia unfollowed Selena after the interview and still does not follow her on IG ... so it will be interesting to see if the birthday post moves the needle.

Bow Wow's getting dragged for allegedly swindling a child rapper outta her hard-earned pennies when she requested a feature -- but he insists there was no deal with him, the kid just got catfished.

The case is currently pending in a Georgia court, but Bow Wow is claiming the plaintiff fell victim to an all too common online scam. However, on social media -- where no one waits for a verdict -- folks went on the warpath against Bow.

TMZ Hip Hop got ahold of the docs ... the suit was actually filed back in March by a man named Steven Roberson.

According to Steve, he wired Bow Wow $3K via Cash App, back in 2021, to guest star on a song for his daughter back in 2021 called, "Daddy's Girl." He says the deal required Bow Wow to record his feature within 2 weeks of getting the payment, but that never happened.

Bow Wow is now defending his reputation, insisting he never conducts business through Cash App and doesn't intend to in the future. He says this incident marks the 3rd time someone got duped by someone pretending to be him.

The DJ who played 50 Cent tracks -- prompting Rick Ross' longtime pal Gunplay to blow his top in da club -- is speaking out, and hoping like hell to squash their beef.

DJ 305 dropped an IG video Tuesday apologizing to Gunplay and his family for the July 19 incident that led to the rapper threatening to "shoot up" club G5ive Miami.

Gunplay had been celebrating his 44th birthday when DJ 305 dropped not one, but two 50 Cent songs "I Smell P****" and "Many Men" -- both with implications of beef and war (although they were originally created as Ja Rule diss tracks).

You can see for yourself how Gunplay took the musical gesture and he went on to explain, and remarkably, own up to his actions that evening.

DJ 305 says he didn't mean any disrespect behind his song selection and hopes to still be cordial with Gunplay and MMG down the line ... as his stage name references Rick's city!!!

Gunplay hasn't responded to 305's mea culpa just yet, but was in G5ive last night to redo his birthday bash after the previous drama.

Tyreek Hill is finally opening up on the June fishing boat altercation that led to a police investigation into the NFL star ... saying Wednesday it was all a "bonehead mistake."

The Dolphins wideout didn't go into much detail about the incident following Miami's training camp workout -- telling a throng of media members, "I'm not here to get into that. I'm here to play ball." But, he did shed at least some light onto the matter.

He insisted that any civil issues arising from the June 18 tiff have been "resolved" ... while adding that he's cooperating with NFL investigators. He also said of the incident, "I just can't make bonehead mistakes like that" -- before telling one journalist, "I hope everything gets situated."

As we reported ... cops initially launched a probe into Hill after a Miami fishing charter vessel employee alleged the 29-year-old receiver slapped him on the back of the neck after he had told the football player and a group of his apparent acquaintances they could not be on his boat.

Hill and his accuser, according to Adam Schefter, reached a settlement to resolve their differences on Monday ... though prosecutors said Wednesday they're still mulling charges.

As for Roger Goodell and the NFL ... they've yet to suspend Hill -- and when the speedster was asked Wednesday if he thinks a ban could be coming this year, he said, "Nah, man. When I'm able to come here and play ball, man, I get a chance to get away from all that."

The Dolphins are slated to open their preseason schedule against the Falcons on Aug. 11.

We now know why Jason Aldean's "Try That in a Small Town" music video was edited ... because the production company skirted the rules and used FOX footage without permission.

Sources connected to the music video production tell TMZ ... back when they were producing the video, the company that produced it reached out to FOX on May 8 and asked for permission to use the 6 seconds of video shot by FOX 5 Atlanta ... showing violence at a BLM rally.

We're told the folks at FOX asked for more information ... specifically the lyrics of the song. We're told the production company sent FOX a link to the song -- which was released May 19 -- but the protocol was to send the lyrics in writing, which they never did.

The music video was released July 14 and the footage was in the vid, projecting on the courthouse behind Jason.

Our sources say a week ago, FOX reached out to the production company and asked them to remove the video to avoid any legal action -- which was described to us as a "polite ultimatum" -- and the production company complied.

So the new, edited video has actually been online for an entire week before anyone noticed.

A field invader during the Wrexham vs. Manchester United game found out very quickly he should've just stayed in his seat ... because moments after he stormed the pitch -- he was decked by security.

The man's wild run during the much-anticipated exhibition soccer game all went down on Tuesday night in San Diego at Snapdragon Stadium.

In the second half of the tilt ... the fan, for some reason, hopped over a stadium wall, stripped off his shirt -- and took a joyride through the players on the field.

Video shot from fans inside the venue shows the man was able to avoid guards for a while ... but once they caught up to him, they plowed him into the turf.

Somehow -- despite the brutal blow -- the guy was able to get up ... though he was eventually led off the field in cuffs.

Judge Greg Mathis got into it with some Los Angeles City employees ... but there are drastically different stories from each side as to just how intense things escalated.

Law enforcement sources tell us an employee from the L.A. Dept. of Water and Power made a report Tuesday accusing Mathis of threatening workers with a gun after a heated confrontation. According to the employee, Mathis got pissed after they asked him to move his vehicle -- words were exchanged -- and things escalated to the point of Mathis allegedly flashing and pointing his gun at the workers.

However, we spoke to Mathis, who has a much different story. Mathis tells us the employees were actually blocking his vehicle in, and he was unable to pull out of his driveway.

Mathis says one of the employees got smart with him when he stood in the street, saying if he didn't move, he'd get run over by their work truck. Mathis took that as a threat, and tells us he informed he had a weapon -- though he says he NEVER showed the gun, let alone pointed it at anyone.

Eventually, both sides cooled off ... and the LADWP employees continued on with their work further down the street.

Shareef O'Neal just unleashed on a troll for blaming him for Bronny James' cardiac arrest ... calling out the distasteful comment in a fiery interaction on social media.

It all went down shortly after TMZ Sports broke the news of Bronny's medical emergency on Tuesday ... with one user referencing Shareef's own heart issues in an awful attempt to poke fun at the situation.

"Bronny started hanging with Shareef and now look," the tweet read. "@SSJreef stay yo ass away from him he’s destined for greatness not overseas 😆"

Shaq's son -- who had open-heart surgery to correct a right anomalous coronary artery in October 2018 -- got wind of the jab ... and he clapped back with a passionate response.

"That is very disrespectful of you to say," Shareef said in a since-deleted tweet. "I’ve been around Bronny for a very long time before this happened ... I’ll pray for you. You need help ... sick that you would even say something like that 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️#dummy."

All that glitters must not be gold -- or pink, for that matter -- because a white-hot argument during a "Barbie" screening took a physical turn, and fast!

The beef went down in Brazil as the credits were scrolling for the Margot Robbie-led film, ironically as Billie Eilish's moving "What Was I Made For?" was playing in the background.

According to folks online, someone in the theater was letting their kid watch videos on a phone during the movie ... and the post-movie blowup is a direct result of that.

It's unclear which person's being accused, but the girl in the pink jacket certainly gets the short end of the stick ... 'cause she was slammed to the ground after one of the angry women stormed up the steps.

It's a pretty wild scene, especially after a flick like "Barbie" ... but as we reported, a separate fight at an AMC movie theater in Florida resulted in a police search.

Remember, police released a video from the Pompano Beach brawl earlier this month, where the MIA suspect shoved a man into a railing, then started beating him while on the ground.

Cops said the victim asked the man in question to switch seats, claiming he was sitting in their preassigned spot ... which is what allegedly sparked the beatdown.
