Britney Spears has made one thing very clear -- she loves being back in Vegas -- but there are no plans to make Sin City her temporary home with a new concert residency ... TMZ has learned.
Britney had fans freaking out last weekend when she posted video and photos of herself at the new Resorts World Las Vegas with her fiancé Sam Asghari and best friend/agent Cade Hudson. It was clear, the hotel had rolled out the red carpet for Britney ... with many speculating it could be the beginning signs of a larger partnership between the two.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
We've spoken with several sources close to Britney who tell us while she had a great time, there weren't any talks about a possible residency, and the thought of getting back on stage any time soon just isn't even something Spears is entertaining.
One other thing, it's pretty clear Resorts World would LOVE having Britney as a concert resident, check out the massive billboard they put up in her honor during the trip.
Of course, Britney's "Piece of Me" residency at Planet Hollywood in 2014 and 2015 was incredibly successful. In 2018, Britney announced she'd begin another Vegas residency at Park MGM, but that never happened as things with her conservatorship turned sour.
While we know there aren't yet talks for Britney to return to the Vegas stage, her fans are certainly itching for a performance or new music ... which she's recently teased.
As for her most recent Vegas trip ... Britney stayed at Resorts World's $15,000 a night suite, complete with a private pool, movie theater and a massive billboard dedicated to the singer.

Don McLean 'American Pie' Singer Drops Out of NRA Convention
The National Rifle Association will be without one of its performers this weekend ... singer Don McLean will no longer play at the event after the elementary school shooting in Uvalde.
McLean tells us, "In light of the recent events in Texas, I have decided it would be disrespectful and hurtful for me to perform for the NRA at their convention in Houston this week. I’m sure all the folks planning to attend this event are shocked and sickened by these events as well. After all, we are all Americans."
He continues, "I share the sorrow for this terrible, cruel loss with the rest of the nation."
McLean, the voice behind the 1971 hit, "American Pie," was one of several performers scheduled to take the stage in Houston this weekend -- some of the others include Lee Greenwood, Danielle Peck and Larry Gatlin.
As we reported, 19 children inside a 4th-grade classroom and two teachers were killed when an 18-year-old gunman opened fire with an AR-15.
Of course, there's still a ton of pressure on Texas government officials, including Governor Abbott, to move the event out of the state. Houston is about 250 miles from Uvalde.

Aerosmith Steven Tyler Enters Rehab Band Cancels Summer Group of Vegas Shows
Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has voluntarily checked himself into rehab after a recent relapse.
The group released a statement Tuesday, saying, "As many of you know, our beloved brother Steven has worked on his sobriety for many years. After foot surgery to prepare for the stage and the necessity of pain management during the process, he has recently relapsed and voluntarily entered a treatment program to concentrate on his health and recovery."
Aerosmith was supposed to perform in Vegas for the first time since the pandemic during a residency at Park MGM starting in June, but those shows have been canceled while Tyler recovers.
The good news ... the group remains hopeful they'll be able to hit the stage during the second leg of shows in September, writing, "We are devastated that we have inconvenienced so many of you, especially our most loyal fans who often travel great distances to experience our shows."
Steven's been an open book about his struggles with addiction in the past, but the 74-year-old had been sober for quite some time leading up to the relapse.
The group finished their message by saying, "Thank you for your understanding and for your support for Steven during this time."

Billie Eilish Tells David Letterman About Struggles with Tourette's
Billie Eilish says living with Tourette's is exhausting, and she's had her fill with people passing it off as a joke.
Billie sat down with David Letterman for his Netflix series, 'My Next Guest Needs No Introduction,' and opened up about Tourette's ... something she rarely does.
The 20-year-old singer told Dave, "If you film me for long enough, you're going to see a lot of tics."
She talked about the difficulty of interacting with people who make light of it ... "It's really weird, I haven't talked about it at all. The most common way that people react is they laugh because they think I'm trying to be funny. They think I'm going [imitates tic] as a funny move. And so they go, 'Ha,' and I'm always left incredibly offended by that."
"Or they go [looks around] 'What?' and then I go, 'I have Tourette's'"
Billie went on to explain she always tics, whether it's subtle like wiggling her ears back and forth, clicking her jaw or flexing certain muscles. She said, "These are things you would never notice if you're just having a conversation with me, but for me, they're very exhausting."
Now though, she says she's accepted it ... "I have made friends with it, so now I'm pretty confident in it."

And of course, in true Kravis fashion, they shared a long kiss while Andrea belted out the tune.

Travis Barker Didn't Hurl Homophobic Slur On 'Punk'd' ... Actor From Resurfaced Clip Says

Travis Barker did NOT hurl a homophobic slur when he was getting pranked on Ashton Kutcher's old MTV show ... so says the actor from a resurfaced clip that's stirring up controversy.
Here's the deal ... Kourtney Kardashian's husband is getting slammed online by folks who claim he used the f-word in an old clip from "Punk'd."
In the resurfaced clip, Travis is having dinner with Shanna Moakler when an actor posing as a waiter comes to the table and starts flirting with her, pretending they used to date.
Travis gets pissed and tells the server, "Yeah, she usually dates (bleep)" ... and it sets off a heated confrontation, with the waiter saying he didn't appreciate the term.
There's online speculation the MTV show bleeped out a slur ... but the actor playing the waiter in the episode, Ahmed Ahmed, tells us that's not the case. Instead, he says Travis exclaimed, "f***ing a**holes."
Ahmed says the Blink-182 drummer was totally cool once Ashton came out and let him know he was being pranked.
For those who might not buy Ahmed's story ... he doubts Travis would have signed the release forms allowing the clip to air on TV if he had actually said what people are accusing him of saying.
Ahmed says his friends encouraged him to speak out on Travis' behalf ... and he's got a message for the Internet trolls coming after Kourtney's man.

Kurt Cobain Smells Like a $4.5 Million Guitar!!! 'Teen Spirt' Fender Sells at Auction
One of Kurt Cobain's most famed guitars is officially in the hands of a new owner, but it wasn't acquired without a king's ransom -- the instrument ended up going for 7 figures.
You'll definitely recognize this one ... it's the blue 1969 Fender Mustang featured in Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" music video, which was also used during recording sessions for the band's "Nevermind" and "In Utero" albums -- so the high price tag of $4.5 million should be no surprise.
Kurt's old guitar was auctioned off Sunday to the Jim Irsay Collection -- yes, the Indianapolis Colts owner -- and ended up going for way higher than its estimated bid of $600k ... which is where Julien's Auctions had it pegged at the outset.
Considering this was one of Kurt's most prized possessions -- not to mention it's a left-handed guitar -- the exponential jump, perhaps, really isn't all that shocking.
What is sorta eye-opening is how many bidders there were -- word is, it was a war of sorts that Irsay walked away from victorious. The guy's worth an estimated $3.5 billion -- so he definitely had the means to snap it up.
As for where the dough for this guitar is going ... naturally, a portion of it is landing in the pockets of Kurt's estate, but another portion is being donated to charity -- namely, in support of Mental Health Awareness Month (May) and the Kicking the Stigma org.

Rihanna Oh, Baby!!! First Pic Since Giving Birth
Here's the first look at Rihanna the mother ... she's been spotted in public for the first time since giving birth to a baby boy.
RiRi ventured out in Los Angeles on Thursday with her bodyguard, keeping it casual with an oversize gray sweatshirt, some baggy black pants and her hair up in a bun as she left her home in West Hollywood and climbed into the back of an SUV.
Rihanna certainly hasn't compromised her style ... rocking her huge gold necklaces, and designer sunglasses.
TMZ broke the story ... Rihanna gave birth to her first child on May 13 in L.A. She and father A$AP Rocky are still mum on their little baby boy's name, and we haven't seen his face yet, but momma's giving the paps what they want.
Remember ... RiRi and Rocky announced her pregnancy back in January, with a photo shoot in New York City, and she proudly showed off her baby bump throughout her journey to motherhood.
There were some bumps along the way ... namely Rocky getting arrested in a surprise bust as the couple's plane touched down at LAX after a romantic getaway to her native Barbados. Law enforcement sources told us the arrest was in connection to an incident where A$AP is accused of firing gunshots at an acquaintance, grazing the man's hand.
Rihanna stuck by her man, cheering for him backstage at one of his recent performances.
Tons of celebs have been congratulating RiRi and A$AP ... including her ex Chris Brown.

Korn's James Shaffer The Temptation to Relapse On Drugs, Alcohol is Real ... Especially on the Road
-
Exclusive
Korn co-founder James Shaffer got real with us Wednesday about addiction, the difficulty of staying sober on the road, and the tragedy that befell Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.
We got James at LAX and asked about temptations when a band is touring, and he says it's a constant problem. James, who has been sober for a dozen years, says he still feels the pull of addiction when others around him want to party with drugs and booze.
He says rock stars always have folks offering stuff, and that makes sobriety difficult.
Our photog asks about Taylor Hawkins' recent death, and James says he's still heartbroken over it, and feels enormous sympathy for Taylor's family and Dave Grohl.
James has an interesting take on how his fellow musicians can manage the pull of addiction as well as mental health struggles ... by creating a community within his profession. James says musicians are sensitive people, so getting support from like-minded people is essential for the well-being of his community.
It's a really interesting, moving conversation.

Billy McFarland, the man behind the infamous Fyre Festival, has been released from prison early ... but he's not completely free just yet.
Billy was sprung on March 30 and was transferred to community confinement. It's unclear whether he's at home or halfway house, but he is expected to stay through the end of August.
As we've reported, Billy originally got hit with a 6-year sentence back in 2018, but he apparently won't be spending all of it behind bars.
You'll recall, Billy organized the notorious 2017 music fest in the Bahamas. He ended up pleading guilty to 2 counts of wire fraud over the disastrous failed event.
If ya need a trip down memory lane ... hundreds of folks were left stranded in the Bahamas, after being promised a weekend-long festival with luxury accommodations, celeb performances and fine dining options.
Of course, that's far from what they got ... settling for tents, a broken down stage and food that included a piece of cheese between slices of bread.
Billy's lawyers first asked for him to be released early back in 2020 ... but he's finally getting a shot 2 years later.

Taylor Swift NYU Commencement Speech Subtly Addresses Cancel Culture
Taylor Swift gave the commencement address Wednesday at New York University ... and there was an undercurrent to her talk that very subtly takes a shot at cancel culture.
Yankee Stadium was packed to the gills as Taylor took the stage and mused she's now a doctor ... after receiving an honorary degree ... she cautioned folks not to make her the go-to in an emergency.
Then she launched into her speech, which was all about her and her life. You could pass it off as somewhat self-indulgent, but there's a theme that seems to challenge cancel culture.
She talks about her cringeworthy moments over the years, and then drops undeniable knowledge on the grads ... that everyone has cringe moments in their life. It could be as superficial as the clothes you once wore -- something she talks about -- but it can go deeper -- much deeper.
Taylor says everyone makes mistakes, and she's always grown from hers and made her life better.
One way to look at this ... we have to tolerate mistakes and allow people to grow, not shelve them. As she said, there were reporters who suggested to her she might end up in pop star jail ... pop star jail is a form of cancel culture.
In any event, the crowd ate it up. BTW ... there's a class at NYU specifically on T.S.'s music.
Congrats grads!!!
