Dog the Bounty Hunter Gives Beth's Ashes to Her Fam ... Will Rest with Her Mom

Published | Updated

Dog the Bounty Hunter is making sure his late wife Beth Chapman gets to reunite in the ever after with her beloved mother, who recently passed away.

A rep for Dog tells TMZ … Beth's mom, Bonnie Joan, died in November, and one of her final wishes was to be laid to rest with her daughter. Dog heard about the request and wanted to make it happen.

We're told Dog gave some of Beth's ashes to her sister Melinda, who also has their mom's ashes. The mother-daughter duo had a rocky relationship, but we're told they made sure to mend fences before Beth passed in 2019.

ONE LAST RIDE

You'll recall, Beth died at 51, following a long battle with cancer -- and afterward Dog held a ceremony in Hawaii, where the couple lived part-time, to spread her ashes.

We're told he used ceremonial ashes for that ceremony, but some of Beth's actual remains have been spread in other places that were important to her.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

As for the ashes he still has, Dog tells us, "I understand now what rest in peace truly means. I'm hopeful Beth can now rest in peace."

Erika Jayne Lisa's Departure Leaves Huge Hole ... 'RHOBH' Will Feel It

IRREPLACEABLE

Erika Jayne says Lisa Rinna simply can't be replaced on "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" ... because Lisa's the greatest 'Housewives' star of all time.

The 'RHOBH' star was out shopping Friday when cameras asked her about Lisa's recent announcement about leaving the Bravo reality TV series.

Erika says producers can try, but they won't be able to find anyone who can fill Lisa's shoes. The way Erika sees it ... Lisa is the "f***** GOAT."

When asked if Lisa Vanderpump should return to the show, Erika scoffed ... calling Lisa a "coward" who ran away from the show and couldn't face the music at the reunion ... so, not a good fit in Erika's eyes.

Remember ... Kathy Hilton gave the show an ultimatum ... vowing not to return if Lisa and Erika came back ... and Erika says she respects Kathy for coming to the reunion show despite all the bad blood.

While Erika says she's going to miss Lisa on the show, they're pretty good friends off camera and she says they will hang out in real life ... which is more valuable to her than having an ally on the show.

Bottom line for Erika ... Lisa will be missed and everyone involved in the show will feel it.

Lisa Rinna I'm Leaving 'RHOBH'

Published | Updated

It's curtains for Lisa Rinna on 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' ... she's announced she's leaving the reality show.

Lisa is exiting the Bravo hit after 8 seasons ... telling People, "This is the longest job I have held in my 35 year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series. It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!"

Famous for her one-liners, Lisa joined 'RHOBH' way back in 2014 during the show's 5th season ... and she was not one to shy away from drama.

Lisa's contract reportedly expired at the end of the most recent season, and she's not signing a new deal ... with People reporting she and Bravo reached a mutual decision to go their separate ways.

For 'RHOBH' fans, Lisa's departure should not be a huge shock ... she seemed to be dropping hints during last season that it may be her last ... and that turned out to be the case.

Lisa's exit seemingly spells good news for Kathy Hilton's time on 'RHOBH' ... as we first told you, Kathy recently called out Lisa and Erika Jayne as villains who are desperate to stir up drama, and vowing not to return to the show unless they're gone.

Unclear who Bravo will tab to replace Lisa, but there have been recent rumors about 'RHOC' star Heather Dubrow possibly making the switch to Bev Hills.

Noah Schnapp 'Stranger Things' Star Comes Out as Gay

Published | Updated

"Stranger Things" star Noah Schnapp has come out as gay.

The 18-year-old made the announcement Thursday on TikTok with a video of himself and text that reads, "When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was 'we know.'"

Interestingly enough, he also included the caption, "I guess I'm more similar to will than I thought."

Schnapp plays Will Byers on "Stranger Things" and fan speculation over the years has been that the character is gay, as it's clear he has a thing for Mike Wheeler on the show ... so it seems Schnapp is also confirming the fan theory.

Schnapp and his "Stranger Things" costar Millie Bobby Brown are super close -- the two hang out all the time and have appeared on late-night talk shows together over the years.

Stephen 'tWitch' Boss Private Funeral in Los Angeles ... Bigger Memorial Coming

Published | Updated

Stephen "tWitch" Boss is getting an emotional goodbye from those closest to him this week ... with a larger gathering planned for the future to properly honor him en masse.

Sources within tWitch's inner circle tell TMZ ... the late media personality is being laid to rest Wednesday afternoon in Los Angeles, in what we're told is going to be a small and intimate funeral attended by close family.

We're told there is going to be a larger celebration of life ceremony in the near future, which will be held for close friends and the people who Stephen considered his family.

ELLEN'S EMOTIONAL MESSAGE

Presumably, the larger celebration would include Ellen DeGeneres and staff members from her show -- on which tWitch served as the DJ for years. The folks from "So You Think You Can Dance" would also likely be on the extended list for the memorial down the road.

TMZ broke the story ... tWitch took his own life last month, leaving behind a suicide note alluding to past struggles. Despite issues he was obviously dealing with, there didn't seem to be any sign, outwardly, that something was wrong ... as his death took everyone by surprise.

There has been an outpouring of tributes made in his honor from the entertainment industry and beyond -- including heartfelt condolences sent by Ellen herself.

He was 40.

Nick Cannon Scoffs at Vasectomy Question ... 'My Body, My Choice!

Published | Updated

Nick Cannon has words for anyone who thinks he's had too many kids ... "My body, My choice!"

Nick appeared on CNN's NYE show and the ever-inquisitive Andy Cohen asked him if he'd consider getting a vasectomy. Nick's response was essentially ... not anyone's biz but mine.

Andy pressed the father of 12 ... "Do you want to hit 20?"

Nick was honest, even if the answer wasn't especially satisfying ... "Clearly, I don't have a plan. That should've been clear from the jump."

As we reported, Nick welcomed baby #12 last month. Another great name -- Halo, the little girl he had with Alyssa Scott.

A month before that, Nick welcomed another baby girl, Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa. And in September, he welcomed son Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell.

Two weeks before Rise was born, Nick welcomed daughter Onyx Ice with LaNisha Cole, a 'Price is Right' model.

And in June, he and Bre Tiesi welcomed their first child together, Legendary.

And 2023 has just begun!

Catherine Hicks '7th Heaven' Reboot Ain't Happening ... Times are Different!!!

Published

Catherine Hicks is shutting down any notion of a "7th Heaven" reunion, reboot or remake ... saying far too much has changed, and it just wouldn't be the same. Unless ...

We'll get to her one caveat, but when we caught up with Catherine in Bev Hills, we raised the issue of a possible second coming for her hit family drama.

She pretty quickly shot down any hope of it happening ... pointing to the fact the kids from the show have all grown up. She also made it clear she doesn't act anymore. Instead, she's focusing on being a mom in real life, not just one on screen.

As for her on-screen hubby, Stephen Collins, he'd definitely be out because he's "gone" ... as Catherine very gently put it.

Remember, TMZ got audio back in 2014 of Collins confessing to his then-wife Faye Grant he molested and/or exposed himself to 3 girls between the ages of 11 and 13. He ended up not being prosecuted due to the statute of limitations ... but his marriage went up in flames, and he fled Hollywood.

The last time we talked to Catherine, she talked about forgiveness and being open to the idea of a reunion with the disgraced actor -- but, now it sounds like all those ships have sailed for her.

As far as having a new cast recreate the series, she says there is a way to do it -- just one, and it would require the services of one specific person.

Ryan Seacrest on NYE I'm Takin' It Easy on the Boozin' ... No Shade to CNN Crew!!!

Published | Updated

Ryan Seacrest will be sober as a bat when the clock strikes midnight later this evening -- a rule he's imposing on himself amid CNN's widely-reported alcohol ban for their NYE hosts.

We ran into the 'AI' alum Saturday on the streets of NYC -- this as he was getting ready to go through the marathon that is his annual gig with ABC ... namely, emceeing "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" and helping Disney ring in 2023, which he's done for a while now.

Of course ... we had to ask the guy about his drinking regimen for the night, especially after he publicly sided with CNN brass this week about limiting the network's on-air boozing.

In light of that, Ryan tells us he won't be imbibing heavily while working. In fact, he says he's gonna save the good stuff 'til well after 12:00 AM, presumably when he's off camera. It's interesting he says that ... it would seem Ryan firmly believes in keeping things professional.

It's a bit ambiguous whether that's a shot at Anderson Cooper/Andy Cohen and the rest of the CNN team -- who have a rep for downing shots during their broadcast -- but when we asked RS if there was any shade ... he suggested it was all love for everyone in his position.

While Ryan will be steering clear of booze through most of tonight, all eyes will be on CNN to see if they follow the orders they've been given ... or if they cut loose like years past.

Happy New Year!

Barbara Walters Dead at 93

Published | Updated

Barbara Walters -- one of the biggest and most recognizable news anchors in the world -- has died.

We're told she died at her home, surrounded by loved ones. Barbara had been in declining health for several years.

The legendary ABC broadcaster passed away Friday in New York City. Barbara had receded from public view the past several years, opting to live a private life. She hadn't been seen out and about since at least 2016.

Barbara's 60-plus-year career was in part catapulted by her coverage of President John F. Kennedy's assassination in 1963. She came on-air to report on the story alongside anchor Hugh Downs, giving a man-on-the-street perspective from New York City.

Of course, she went on to become one of the longest-serving journalists in the game -- first working for NBC's "Today" show as a writer and researcher, and working her way up in the network through the '60s and early '70s, eventually becoming their first female cohost.

In 1976, Barbara jumped over to ABC ... landing a job on their "Evening News" program. She was the first woman to anchor a network news show, but her cohost was not having it and it made success almost impossible. Not long after, she became a fixture and regular contributor and the eventual host of the network's "20/20" newsmagazine program and appeared on the show for decades.

Some of her biggest interviews were featured on "20/20," as well as other shows, which included notable face-to-face convos with folks like Katharine Hepburn, Fidel Castro, Monica Lewinsky, Michael Jackson, Patrick Swayze, Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, Oprah, Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, China's ex-secretary of the Communist Party, Jiang Zemin, Vladimir Putin, John Wayne, Mike Tyson, Barbra Streisand, Lucille Ball, Muhammad Ali, Fred Astaire, Henry Kissinger, Ringo Starr, Walter Cronkite, Willie Nelson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Christopher Reeve, Hugo Chavez, Tom Cruise, Anna Wintour, Justin Bieber, Syrian Prez Bashar al-Assad and every single American President. The list goes on and on and on.

If you can think of a famous person, Barbara probably interviewed them, plain and simple.

Her achievements go well beyond just that though -- Walters also co-created and cohosted ABC's popular daytime talk show, "The View," which became one of her main focuses professionally after semi-retiring from hosting "20/20" in 2004. She stayed on "The View" through mid-May 2014, and continued to make guest appearances after her official send-off.

Barbara's final on-air interview was with Donald Trump for ABC News in 2015. Her last public appearance was reportedly in 2016 -- she hadn't been seen much since then. The last time we got her on camera was in 2014 when she graciously signed autographs.

Barbara Walters 12/15/14
THE LAST TIME SHE SPOKE TO US!!!

She'd been married four times and had dated some very high-profile people, including notorious McCarthy-era attorney Roy Cohn, Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, U.S. Senator John Warner, Senator Edward Brooke, Pulitzer Prize winner Robert Neil Butler.

She had one daughter with Lee Guber, Jacqueline Dena Guber.

Barbara was a staple in pop culture too -- often portrayed on 'SNL' by several different cast members over the years. She also once spoofed herself by appearing on 'Weekend Update.'

She was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 1989 and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in '07. Barbara has won countless Daytime and Primetime Emmy Awards over the course of her career, as well as many other lifetime achievement accolades.

Barbara's publicist, Cindi Berger, tells TMZ ... "She lived her life with no regrets. She was a trailblazer not only for female journalists but for all women."

Barbara Walters was 93.

'Clarence' Creator Skyler Page Arrested For Stealing Nerf Guns From Ross Store

Published

Skyler Page, the creator of the animated series "Clarence," is apparently a big fan of the five-finger discount ... he got arrested for stealing toys from a discount department store.

The Burbank Police Department tells TMZ ... Skyler was arrested and booked for petty theft on Dec. 13, when cops say he went into a Ross, grabbed some merchandise, including Nerf guns, and walked out without paying.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, cops say Ross' loss prevention department called police to the store to report the alleged theft ... and after getting a description of the suspect, whom they described as "unhoused." Responding officers searched the area and found Skyler sitting on a nearby wall with a boatload of Nerf guns.

Cops say the officers questioned Skyler about the Nerf guns, and he admitted to taking the toys ... telling cops he didn't have enough money to pay for them.

The Burbank City Attorney has filed one misdemeanor charge of petty theft against Skyler ... and he pled not guilty in court.

We reached out to Skyler's camp ... so far no word back.

'DOG'S MOST WANTED' STAR David Robinson Died From Heart Disease

Published | Updated

David Robinson, one of Dog the Bounty Hunter's partners for years and the star of "Dog's Most Wanted," died from heart issues.

David's wife, Brooke Robinson, tells TMZ ... the family just got the autopsy report back and it says the 50-year-old died from critical coronary artery disease.

TMZ broke the story ... David collapsed Nov. 30 during a Zoom call and he died in his wife's arms despite lifesaving maneuvers being performed.

David's wife tells us his death has left a void and hole in her life that can never be repaired ... and she says only God knows why David died so abruptly.

David worked closely with Dog on "Dog's Most Wanted" ... tracking down fugitives of Dog's choosing.

Brooke is remembering David for "his smile that would light up the world, his amazing laugh, and just how generous and caring he was."

She adds ... "David was the most genuine and authentic man. We had a once in a lifetime love, and that will continue to live forever."

'Pokemon' Ash & Pikachu's Upcoming Exit ... 'Hit Hard,' Says Original Voice Actor

Published

Ash Ketchum's 25-year arc in "Pokemon" is coming to an end ... and while it seems like a shock, maybe it's something we all should've seen coming -- at least according to Veronica Taylor, who originally provided the voice for the titular trainer.

Veronica tells TMZ ... she was hit pretty hard by the recent news that the popular anime was leaving Ash and Pikachu behind, but after the character was finally named top trainer in the world on the show, the exit kinda tracks.

She says an ending for Ash seemed so distant, but points out how "Pokemon" has taught us so many lessons, one of which is letting go ... and a departure like this would be another great example of that.

For those unaware, Taylor voiced Ash for the first 8 seasons of the show ... and it was announced this month that the new season will introduce 2 new main characters -- but not before 11 special episodes in 2023 to wrap up Ash and Pikachu's journey.

Taylor thinks a cameo in the future is possible, though ... and hopes longtime fans will be just as attached to this new generation.

BTW -- Sarah Natochenny, who is the current voice of Ash, wrote about her character's exit ... saying she'll "keep him present for all of us in every way I can. ❤️"

Valerie Bertinelli Real-Life Crime-fighter!!! I Scared Those Burglars Away!!!

Published | Updated

Valerie Bertinelli is not about to become a crime victim ... because she's got an eagle eye on would-be burglars who are hitting her neighborhood and gave them a big surprise.

The actress/Food Network host lives in an area of L.A. where there have been a string of burglaries, including the house next door to hers.

Well, in the wee hours of Wednesday, 2 guys -- maybe the culprits in the neighborhood -- approached her door at separate times and started scoping out her home. One of the guys was carrying a backpack and several bags. He walks near the camera and apparently spots it, because he beats a hasty retreat. Mission accomplished!!!

The 62-year-old said, "I think he stops because he sees my camera lit up. The other one came an hour before him."

Eddie Van Halen's ex was honest ... "F***ing scary,"

She called the cops, who apparently are still on the hunt for these guys, and is doubling down on precautions ... "I'm installing more motion detector lights and thinking of putting barbed wire on my front fence. And of course my alarm gets set every night."

All good moves.

'SUPER SIZED SALON' Plans To Move Forward With Season 2 ... Despite Jamie's Death

Published

The upcoming season of the TV series "Super Sized Salon" is pushing forward despite the sudden death of its star, Jamie Lopez.

Sources who were close to Jamie tell TMZ ... the show's cast and crew hopped on a call this week with WE tv network honchos and everyone agreed they wanted to continue with the show, with the goal of continuing to tell Jamie's story.

Our sources say nothing is official yet, but there were discussions about making Jamie a multi-season offer before her recent death ... and now they envision some presence of Jamie in season 2 ... using old clips and interviews.

TMZ broke the story ... 37-year-old Jamie was hospitalized last weekend in Las Vegas and died due to heart complications.

"Super Sized Salon" premiered earlier this season on WE tv ... putting the spotlight on the staff and customers at Jamie's Babydoll Beauty Couture salon in Vegas.

Jamie owned 50% of the salon, with her partner and business manager JD Armelin owning the remaining half. We're told Jamie's cut will go to her next of kin. JD is already in the process of buying them out, with plans to give some equity to the other women who work at the salon.

The whole gang was in tow ... North, Chicago, Psalm and Saint. Her friend Tracy Romulus also tagged along to brave the busy day of fun and adventure.

It seems like they all enjoyed spending quality time with mommy ... they were seen riding The Simpsons Ride and spending a lot of time in Fun Land. At one point, Kim and the kids hit up the VIP lounge for snacks.

The day of fun comes after Kim K opened up about her struggles co-parenting with Kanye ... telling Angie Martinez she's gone great lengths to keep all the drama with their dad away from the kids. Of course, she was referring to all the fallout with Kanye, including his antisemitic rants and multiple waves of controversy.

Well, seems like she's doing a good job!!!
