Conor McGregor Charges Dropped In Phone Smashing Case
Conor McGregor is off the hook in his Miami phone smashing case -- prosecutors have dropped the charges against the UFC star after the victim stopped cooperating with authorities.
"The victim of the crime does not wish to return to the United States and prosecute this case," prosecutor Khalil Madani said during a hearing on Monday.
As we previously reported, McGregor was captured on video getting into an altercation outside the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami on March with Ahmed Abdirzak -- who was visiting from the United Kingdom.
In the footage, you can see McGregor snatch the guy's phone, stomp on it ... and leave the hotel with it.
He was arrested hours later and ultimately charged with felony robbery and misdemeanor criminal mischief.
But now, prosecutors say Abdirzak has left the country and doesn't want to come back to aid in Conor's prosecution ... which everyone saw coming from a mile away.
Here's why ... Abdirzak had filed a civil lawsuit against Conor -- which McGregor ultimately settled out of court.
Translation -- Abdirzak probably got a huge payday and wasn't exactly motivated to help put Conor behind bars.
This now clears the way for Conor to negotiate his next UFC fight without having to worry about being unavailable because of incarceration.
Congrats?

Todd Chrisley's Son Arrested on Drug Charges ... & Open Warrant for Threats
-
EXCLUSIVE
"Chrisley Knows Best" star Todd Chrisley's oldest son was picked up by cops in Oklahoma on drug charges -- which led them to find he was also wanted in another state for allegedly threatening to kill his wife.
Kyle Chrisley was arrested last week and booked into Okmulgee County Jail for felony possession of methamphetamine, and was also held on an open warrant for his arrest out of Dekalb County, Georgia. It's unclear if Kyle was still behind bars as of Saturday -- the jail wouldn't confirm with us one way or another.
Regarding the allegations coming out of Georgia -- his estranged wife, Alexus Chrisley, told authorities there that Kyle made death threats against her back in January of this year.
According to the affidavit, obtained by TMZ, Alexus claimed that Kyle had threatened to kill her in a text message exchange, in which he allegedly wrote, "[N]ot before I end you. Im going to the streets I will get my s**t and take care of this problem with you because if I'm not with you nobody will be. Bye Alexus."
Per the docs, Alexus responded, "thats a threat to my life" to which he allegedly answered, "yes :Lexi it was. Goodbye." Police cited other text messages provided by Alexus which allegedly show Kyle pointing a weapon at his head, as well as drug usage.
A judge signed off on the warrant to bring him in around mid-January. Kyle shares a young daughter, Chloe, with a previous girlfriend of his, Angela Johnson, who appeared on his father's hit reality show. Kyle appeared on the USA series for only one season.
Speaking of his dad, Kyle has had a rocky relationship with Todd since at least 2014, when he publicly accused him of using Chloe for diversity ratings -- she's half black.
We got Todd around that time, and he openly told us that Kyle would undergo weekly drug testing, calling it a "necessity."
My son Kyle is bipolar, he suffers from mental illness, he will struggle for life, Yes, the Daily mail prayed on this to sell a story..
@toddchrisley
Todd has also said that Kyle suffers from bipolar disorder, and would continue to grapple with that for the rest of his life.
We've reached out to Kyle for comment, so far ... no word back.

Nipsey Hussle Murder Case Eric Holder's Attorney Quits ... Chris Darden Says 'F*** You' to His Haters
12:32 PM PT -- Darden just joined us on "TMZ Live" where he further explained his reason to back off of the case. He also said that while he's got a lot of haters ... his supporters really show out to help him as well. Darden hopes the same attention that people put into intimidating him off of the case will be used to stop violence in the streets.
Nipsey Hussle's alleged murderer is going to need a new lawyer -- Christopher Darden is quitting the case ... and it sounds like a wave of death threats to him and his family were just too much.
Darden says he's filed a motion to withdraw as Eric Holder's defense attorney. Holder happens to have a hearing scheduled for Friday in L.A. Superior Court, and Darden says it's the last time he will appear in court on the case.
Darden, who famously prosecuted O.J. Simpson in his double murder trial, says he's received death threats since taking Holder's case -- and the flood of hatred reminded him of the O.J. case. As he put it, "Just as they were in 1995-Cowards never change. These days these cowards don’t send letters instead they sit anonymously behind keyboards threatening a man’s mother and children."
Darden hinted he might reveal more in the future about exactly why he's bailing on Holder -- aka "Shitty Cuz" -- but made it clear to his haters that he won't forget ... "To those who issued those threats to my children please pay close attention so there is no misunderstanding. Later. F**K YOU!"
Truth is, Darden's been mercilessly berated ever since agreeing to defend the man accused of killing someone as beloved as Nipsey. One threatening tweet said, "Remember it was written in the book of life that the children shalt suffer from what the parents do."
But, Darden wants to make the point that under the Constitution, EVERYONE deserves a defense in court. He says, "After centuries of a history of black men hung from trees without trial, or after the thousands of cases of black men tried, convicted and executed without counsel ... I cannot understand why in 2019 some people would deny a black man his 6th Amendment right to counsel of his choice."

Ex-OSU Coach Zach Smith Arrested After Altercation At Elementary School
6:58 AM PT -- TMZ Sports has obtained the 911 call placed by Smith's wife from the school ... and she says Zach was irate -- "yelling" at the principal until cops arrived.
More trouble for former Ohio State coach Zach Smith ... cops say they arrested Urban Meyer's ex-assistant after he got into an altercation with officials at his children's elementary school Thursday.
The Delaware County Sheriff's Office confirms to TMZ Sports that Smith showed up to Scioto Ridge Elementary School in Ohio to pick up his kids at around 3 PM.
The problem? They say because of a civil protection order with his wife -- who was already at the school -- Smith was NOT allowed to be there until 6 PM.
When school officials confronted Zach ... cops say an altercation took place -- and Zach was eventually arrested for violating the protection order.
Per jail records, Smith was booked at 6:24 PM and has not been released yet.
As we previously reported ... it's been a nightmare past year for Smith -- who was fired from his role as Buckeyes' receivers coach last summer when he was the centerpiece of a domestic violence scandal involving his wife, Courtney.
She accused him of abusing her on several occasions ... and while Zach denied ever getting violent, he admitted things had gotten physical during heated disputes in the past.
The 35-year-old has been out of coaching since his Ohio State departure in July.

Anthony Weiner All the Way Free Next Week ... Leaving Halfway House
T-minus 4 days until Anthony Weiner is back on these streets.
The disgraced ex-Congressman will finally complete his stay at a halfway house on May 14, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons. As we first reported back in February ... Weiner got out of prison, but was not yet a free man. He was transferred to a residential re-entry center in NYC.
Once he's officially out, he'll be under supervised release for 3 years and he'll have to submit to DNA testing with his probation officer. He also must register as a sex offender and pay a $10k fine.
As we've reported ... Weiner started serving his 21-month prison sentence in November 2017 after pleading guilty to sexting with a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina. He was initially supposed to get out in August 2019, but good behavior slashed his sentence 3 months to May 14.
As you know by now ... Weiner resigned from Congress after his sexting scandal in 2011. His NYC mayoral run fell short in 2013 after it was uncovered he was sexting Sydney Leathers under the infamous alias, "Carlos Danger."
The convicted sex offender saw his marriage fall apart after his latest sexting scandal. Huma Abedin filed for divorce just hours after Weiner struck a plea deal for sexting the teenage girl.

Bulls says aside from June and "Cracky Bear" NOT communicating with him ... he claims they've "failed to comply" with their attorney/client agreement.
You'll recall ... the couple was busted for possession of crack cocaine and paraphernalia -- including a needle and a pipe -- while at an Alabama gas station.
While they're not talking to their now ex-attorney, June and Geno still appear to be thick as thieves. Just a few days after their arrests ... they were trying to hit the jackpot at a casino ... and they've been spotted there multiple times since.

'Buffy' Star Nicholas Brendon Charged with DV ... For Alleged Drunken Attack on GF
Former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star Nicholas Brendon has officially been charged with domestic violence after his shocking arrest back in 2017 ... TMZ has learned.
According to court docs filed by the Riverside County District Attorney's Office, Brendon is facing one count of felony corporal injury to a spouse -- which is punishable by up to 4 years in state prison if convicted.
It's interesting ... the DA also filed a notice letting the judge know they're planning on laying out other evidence showing alleged past acts of DV. Prosecutors have also made it clear they're coming for Brendon even if the alleged victim isn't available at trial.
We broke the story ... Brendon was arrested back in October 2017 after cops say he drunkenly attacked his girlfriend at a Palm Springs hotel bar by pulling her back to their table by the hair ... after allegedly yanking her by the arm at first.
Hotel staff called cops, and Brendon was taken into the station for felony DV ... where he posed for this mug. His reps had no comment for us at the time.

Roger Stone The Naked Truth ... Strip Club Gigs Paying My Defense!!!
Roger Stone is under the gun and under-funded for his legal defense -- so, ironically, he's ripped a page out of Stormy Daniels' playbook -- making big money at a Virginia strip club.
Don't worry, President Trump's former campaign adviser remained fully clothed Saturday night at Papermoon Southside Gentleman's Club in Richmond. He was the guest of honor, though ... taking photos with fans and signing autographs ... sometimes right on dancers' asses.
The club's director of special events, Mike Dickinson, tells TMZ ... Roger was paid a flat fee to show up for the night and do quick meet-and-greets with fans. Entry to the event was $25 a pop, and that included a photo and autograph, if you wanted one. All in all, Dickinson estimates Stone was able to raise high 5-figures for his legal defense against a 7-count federal indictment.
Stone was there with his longtime associate, ex-madam Kristin Davis ... who got wrapped up in Robert Mueller's investigation. Stone is accused of soliciting stolen emails from WikiLeaks that could've helped the Trump campaign in the 2016 election.
He's pled not guilty to all the charges -- and touted that again during the strip club appearance.

Vince Vaughn DUI Case Dismissed ... Pleads No Contest to Reckless Driving
-
EXCLUSIVE
Vince Vaughn got a good result in his DUI case ... the DUI and other charges have all been dismissed after the actor pled no contest to "wet reckless" driving.
TMZ broke the story ... Vince was arrested in Manhattan Beach, CA, back in June, after being snagged at a DUI checkpoint. Cops say he was uncooperative when officers told him and his passenger to step out of the vehicle.
Vaughn was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a .08 blood alcohol level or higher, and disobeying a police officer ... all misdemeanors.
The 3 charges were just dismissed, and Vince -- who was not in court but was represented by his lawyer, Blair Berk -- pled no contest to wet reckless -- which is a reduced charge when someone drives with alcohol in their system, but it is not a DUI.
Vaughn will pay a $390 fine -- plus various penalties which ups the payout to around $1,700 -- and he must attend an alcohol ed course, and he'll be on informal probation for 3 years.

Remy Ma Assault Case Could be Double Trouble
Remy Ma's criminal past could come back to bite her, because it means she's facing the possibility of added jail time ... stemming from her latest assault case.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the rapper is under investigation not only for allegedly punching "Love & Hip Hop New York" star Brittney Taylor in the face at a concert last month, but also to determine if the incident was a parole violation.
We broke the story ... Remy turned herself in to cops Wednesday and was booked for misdemeanor assault. She bailed out shortly afterward, and her attorney claims all of Taylor's accusations are lies.
Regardless, the case has sparked a probe by New York State's Division of Parole, because as we've reported ... Remy's currently on parole. She has been since she was released from prison in 2014 after doing 6 years for her connection to a shooting.
We're told the parole authorities are reviewing her latest assault case -- and if she did violate parole ... it could be revoked, and she could get additional time behind bars.
For now, the judge ordered Remy to have no contact with Taylor, and imposed an 8 PM curfew.
As we reported, Taylor's retained an attorney and seems to be prepping for a lawsuit.

- 8.5K shares
Offset is in a heap of trouble because a warrant has been issued for his arrest, and it's a felony.
TMZ broke the story, a week ago Monday Offset was in a Target store in Sandy Springs, Georgia, when a fan eyed him, pulled out his cell phone and tried taking a video of the rapper shopping after he checked out.
The fan, Junior Gibbons, said, "What up, Offset?" and that set Offset off. The video Gibbons shot shows Offset smack the phone out of his hand, and he says the instrument crashed to the ground and broke, shattering the screen. Offset also allegedly told him to "get that f***in' phone out of my face" afterward ... then exited the store.
Junior filed a police report last Friday, cops investigated and got a warrant.
It is a felony because the phone costs $800 -- reaching the felony threshold, and cops say it was intentional.

Rick Schroder Got Off First Arrest ... GF Called it 'Big Misunderstanding'
Rick Schroder allegedly hit his girlfriend in the face and grabbed her hair during his first felony domestic violence arrest, and yet he wasn't charged -- because she refused to work with cops ... TMZ has learned.
According to docs, obtained by TMZ, Schroder's GF called 911 after they had an altercation on April 2 over a video Schroder found on her phone. She told cops he asked her to leave his home and she agreed, but when she went to grab her belongings, he got violent.
She claimed Schroder grabbed her hair and blocked her from the bedroom, then hit her on the face when she tried to get away and she fell on the kitchen table.
Cops on the scene say they saw some redness and swelling on her right cheek, but she refused medical treatment and became "extremely uncooperative and refused to answer any further questions."
Schroder's GF also refused to allow officers to take any photos and stated she didn't want the "NYPD Blue" star arrested.
According to the docs ... officers followed up with her 2 days later and she told them the incident was "a big misunderstanding" and she didn't want to press charges. As we reported, the L.A. Country D.A.'s Office declined to prosecute -- on April 22 -- due to her lack of cooperation ... along with Schroder denying the assault and a lack of sufficient evidence.
Worth noting ... prosecutors don't need the victim's cooperation to charge a domestic violence suspect. Nor does the lack of photos of her injuries necessarily sink the case ... especially if officers have seen the injuries and can testify to them.
We broke the story ... Schroder was arrested again at his home this week and once again booked him for felony domestic violence on the same girlfriend.
If you're wondering ... the evidence from the first arrest could potentially be used to prosecute him for the second.

3:41 PM PT -- Remy just saw the judge -- and her bail was set at $1,500 -- she's expected to post that shortly. Remy's attorney, Dawn Florio, claimed all of the accusations made by Taylor are a lie. For instance, Taylor allegedly claimed the attack happened at 9:30 PM and Florio says there's video proof Remy Ma was at home at that time.
Florio also argued it was suspicious Taylor lawyered up with a civil attorney immediately after the attack.
The judge also ordered a protective order, meaning Remy is not to have any contact with Taylor ... Remy will also have an 8 PM curfew.
It took a couple weeks, but Remy Ma is in police custody for allegedly punching Brittney Taylor at a concert last month.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the rapper surrendered to cops Wednesday, flanked by her attorney. We're told she's been booked for misdemeanor assault.
As we reported ... the "Love & Hip Hop New York" star claimed Remy punched her in the right eye while backstage during the Pretty Lou Benefit Concert at Irving Plaza near Union Square on April 16.
While police were investigating the incident, Taylor geared up to file a civil suit against Remy by requesting cops preserve all evidence of the alleged assault, including surveillance footage.
Taylor's attorney, Sanford Rubenstein, tells TMZ that this is real life, not reality TV, and that Brittney is a victim. He stresses that Brittney "has confidence in our system of justice and will continue to fully cooperate with the authorities."

Soulja Boy Sentenced to 240 Days in Jail For Violating Probation
-
EXCLUSIVE
- 9.1K shares
Soulja Boy was just smacked with a sentence of 240 days in jail and 265 days of community service for violating his probation.
Soulja was in court Tuesday -- and while his attorney said the rapper's had an "awakening" during the last 20 days he's been locked up -- it clearly wasn't enough to convince the judge to let him go easy. Soulja will start the sentence right away ... and has credit for 40 days served.
The judge told Soulja he was originally considering sentencing him to 2 years in state prison but decided to give him some leniency. The judge also acknowledged that Soulja's missed out on business opportunities while behind bars.
As we reported ... the rapper was taken into custody earlier this month after the judge said he failed to do his court-ordered community service and even conspired to falsify evidence he had completed it.
Not helping matters ... Soulja's crib in Agoura Hills was raided in February and cops found ammunition during the search. Cops had initially gone there to investigate a claim by one of his ex-girlfriends that Soulja tied her up and held her captive in his garage.
The ammunition turned out to be the start of Soulja's real troubles. Having possession of ammo is a huge no-no 'cause Soulja's on probation for a weapons case that dates back to 2014.
He bragged about not going out like Tekashi 6ix9ine but the laughter didn't last long ... 'cause he's been held without bail since the April 11 arrest.

Mama June Slots of Fun ... Without Boyfriend
APRIL 2019
Mama June's still trying her luck, putting legal drama and relationship issues aside and hitting up the slot machines ... again.
The reality TV star was spotted last week at the Wind Creek casino in Montgomery, Alabama, firing off some spins on the slots while chatting with a friend. Folks at the casino tell us they aren't sure if she walked away a winner, but she wasn't gambling this time around with her boyfriend, Geno Doak.
That's interesting, because we broke the story last month ... Mama filed legal docs asking the court to allow Geno to return to her side because she's partially blind and he takes care of her.
Doak was ordered to stay away from June due to their domestic dispute and subsequent arrest for crack cocaine in March. Geno allegedly threatened to kill her, which is why he was also booked for domestic violence and ordered to stay away.
3/16/19
The couple ignored the order, though, by hitting up a casino together a few days later.
Looks like Mama June's back at it ... but flying solo on the slots now.
