Halsey's doing her part to keep Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" at the top of the charts by TWERKING to the hit ... while wearing chaps, and not much else!!

Halsey was heading out to a party Wednesday night when she decided to show off her outfit -- cowboy hat, boots and black leather assless chaps. Her ensemble woulda been enough, but then she went and started strutting and twerking to 'OTR.'

It's been a little more than a week since she left the mental health facility she was staying at, and it looks like she's fully back into her routine. It also appears she's caught more of those UV rays she was somewhat lacking the last she was photographed in public.

As we told you ... Britney is still working through some unresolved issues regarding her medication, despite checking herself out of the facility she was at for 30 days.

We're told she'll continue receiving intensive therapy sessions while at home, but this vid's gotta be a good sign that things are getting back to normal.

Good for her.

Brazilian model Caroline Bittencourt leaped into action when her dogs fell off her sailboat ... but, sadly, she drowned while trying to make the rescue.

The deadly accident happened Sunday in Sao Paulo ... where Caroline was on a catamaran with her husband, Jorge Sestini, and their 2 dogs. While out at sea, a huge storm -- with reported winds over 60 mph -- rocked the boat and knocked the pooches off the catamaran into the rough water.

Bittencourt jumped in after the dogs and her husband soon followed, but he couldn't find her. It's unclear if the dogs were ever found. Sestini was rescued a few hours later and Bittencourt's body was found late Monday near a beach.

Bittencourt's 17-year-old daughter, Isabelle, confirmed the death on social media, saying, "We are grateful for the support and affectionate messages we have received from Carol's friends and fans. This energy drive fills our hearts with so much love."
