Luann de Lesseps going back into rehab might have shocked fans, but the people closest to her knew she was only pretending to be sober for weeks now ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the 'Real Housewives' star tell us she fell off the wagon at least 2 weeks before Bethenny Frankel announced her 'RHONY' pal was reentering a rehab facility -- the second time in less than year.

We're told friends point to a July 2 pic Luann posted with her ex-husband, declaring she'd been sober for 6 months -- no small feat for someone in recovery.

However, the very next day things fell apart rather publicly at a charity event in the Hamptons. Our sources say Luann made a late and noisy entrance -- disrupting a piano performance -- then was seen hitting up the bar, and hitting on several guys in a very touchy-feely way.

We're told friends think there are a number of reasons she slipped. One being her Christmas Eve arrest in Florida, but more recently she was sued by her 2 adult children for allegedly screwing them out of a trust.

Yes, Farrah Abraham has dreams of becoming a professional wrestler -- and tells TMZ Sports she's got her sights set on squaring off with some of the biggest names in WWE.

FYI, the former MTV star recently inked a deal with World Class Revolution Pro Wrestling -- but, it appears to be more of a promotional thing than an actual wrestling contract.

Still, when we saw Farrah at the Syndicate L.A. party at Jimmy Goldstein's home on Monday night ... she seemed excited about the possibility of throwing down at some point.

"I would probably choose Alexa Bliss or maybe the Bella Twins," Farrah said ... "I think those ladies are great."

She also claims to be a HUGE wrestling fan -- and says a match with Stone Cold Steve Austin or Hulk Hogan would be a dream come true.

Taylor Hicks doubled down saying "American Idol" contestants knew who was getting eliminated because, as he put it, everybody talked ... never mind what Nigel Lythgoe says.

We got Taylor at LAX on Monday night and told him what Nigel, the 'AI' executive producer, said ... denying he gave Taylor -- or any contestant -- the heads-up on results at any time.

First off, she says Colton's too hot to still have unwrapped goodies. She also says his so-called confession is one guys use all the time for sympathy. That said, she thinks it's hurting him more than helping. He did get eliminated on this week's episode, so ... Corinne might've had a point.

As for whether the jock has what it takes to be the next 'Bachelor' ... Corinne scoffs and takes a shot at all of Becca's suitors this season. Bitter ... table for one?

Theresa Caputo's estranged husband, Larry Caputo, is getting cozy with a woman he, ironically, met through "Long Island Medium" ... and yet no one saw it coming.

Sources close to the 'LIM' star tell TMZ Larry has been seeing 53-year-old Connie Stauddy of Decatur, Alabama. We're told they met online when Connie reached out to get a reading from Theresa. They stayed in touch, and have been talking long distance for a few months now.

We're told they're not quite an exclusive couple just yet ... the relationship is very new. We broke the story ... Larry was spotted out shopping with Connie in 'Bama this weekend, picking up some home essentials and perusing the furniture section.

Interestingly enough ... sources say Connie is going through a divorce of her own, so she and Larry have a lot in common right now.

So, this is a first -- someone's complaining about Kourtney Kardashian sharing a hot thong pic ... and that someone is her boyfriend, Younes Bendjima.

Younes took the jealous boyfriend route Monday, posting a comment on Kourt's photo which many are interpreting as major shade. He wrote, "thats what you need to show to get likes?"

He's since deleted his IG burn.

Kourtney and Younes have been dating since last October and reportedly had a brief breakup in March ... and word was there was some tension over Instagram.

Farrah Abraham is going to have to answer for her hotel meltdown in court -- 'cause prosecutors have filed charges against the ex-'Teen Mom' ... TMZ has learned.

The L.A. District Attorney's Office just filed 2 charges against Farrah for her Beverly Hills Hotel arrest last month -- when she allegedly struck a security guard and cussed out cops on the scene. She's facing charges for battery and resisting an officer ... both misdemeanors.

If convicted on both charges, she faces up to 18 months in jail.

TMZ broke the story ... Farrah was arrested last month at The Beverly Hills Hotel after allegedly striking a hotel security guard, who asked her to leave the premises.

CBS didn't unleash the big legal guns after 'Survivor' star Jonny Fairplay allegedly jacked its show's logo ... but the network does wanna have a chat with the former show villain.

TMZ's obtained a legal letter CBS fired off to Jonny warning him about using the "Survivor" logo for his podcast, formerly known as "Survival of the Fairest" ... which has since been renamed 'Survivor NSFW.'

CBS says it owns the logo, but what's interesting is the friendly language with which it approaches Jonny about using its logo.

Most warning shots are more threatening ... some examples here, here and here. But, not with Jonny.

In fact, CBS goes out of its way to play nice ... even saying they "appreciate interest in the Series, including a podcast about the Series."

But it's not all sweet talk. According to the letter, the studio has also noticed the season 7 third place finisher is selling apparel with the show's logo. CBS is worried Jonny's logo will cause fans to think the network endorses the podcast.

CBS ends the letter with, "We would like to set up a time to discuss the above with you. Please give me a call or send me an email with your availability."

The estranged husband of "Long Island Medium" star Theresa Caputo apparently has a thing for platinum blondes ... because he's got another one by his side.

Larry Caputo was spotted shopping with a mystery woman at the Bargain Hunt in Decatur, Alabama Saturday ... picking up some essentials and checking out their furniture selection.

Sources at the store tell us Larry and the woman looked very much like a couple -- she often had her hand on his back and shoulder ... and he held the door open for her.

We spoke with Larry last month, who told us he and Theresa have been living on separate coasts for months and were in the middle of divorce proceedings.

He also said he'd moved on and found someone else ... so there's a good chance this is her.

Countess Luann de Lesseps, one of the stars of "The Real Housewives of New York City," has another legal mess on her hands with a lawsuit from none other than her ex and their kids.

Luann's ex, Alexandre de Lesseps, and their 2 adult children -- Noel and Victoria -- are suing her claiming she didn't keep her end of the divorce deal signed back in 2009.

In docs, obtained by TMZ, they say Luann treated herself back in 2013 to a luxurious $3.1 mil pad in the ritzy town of Sag Harbor, NY, but never followed through with creating a trust giving the kids half of the house. That was part of the divorce deal.

Now, they say she's threatening to sell the house and use the cash to buy herself a new crib in upstate NY ... which would mean the kids never got their cut. They want the court to declare she's in breach of the divorce and move forward with an injunction blocking the house sale.

Travis Scott busted a Kanye West ... taking the fam on a retreat before getting the creative juices flowing and starting work on his new album.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ ... Travis, Kylie Jenner and their daughter, Stormi, recently took off to Honolulu where Travis' first order of business was getting some QT with his girls in a massive Airbnb rental. We're told the crib was loaded with Stormi's fave toys, as well as one big toy for Dad -- a recording studio.

The family spent a few days on a private beach before Travis moved on to the second order of biz. We're told barely an hour after Kylie and Stormi jetted back to L.A. ... Travis flew in Nav, Gunna and Cash.

Our sources say the whole crew is in grind mode in the home studio. Travis is keeping the private beach to himself though -- he put up the producers at a nearby hotel.

Dictionary.com got in on the ribbing too -- posting Kylie's cover and the definition of self-made ... having succeeded in life unaided. Many have argued that Kylie had nothing but aid in building out her makeup empire -- ya know, 'cause her family is filthy rich and famous.

Taylor doesn't see it that way though. She says someone can still be self-made with a little assistance ... it all just depends on what you do with it.

Teairra Mari's revenge porn lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend is going nowhere fast ... according to the ex, who maintains SHE leaked their sex tape, and therefore has NO case.

Akbar Abdul-Ahad tells us, although Teairra's going forward with the lawsuit, she hasn't been shy about trying to cozy up to him for some, uh ... well, you have to see his description. Kim Kardashian West isn't alone in her fight to help women in California prison -- the Speaker of the State Assembly is on her side too, but ain't exactly crediting Kim's celebrity for sparking change.

TMZ broke the story, KKW made a visit to a women's prison Saturday ... then made a plea to Gov. Jerry Brown to sign a bill prohibiting male correctional officers from conducting pat down searches on female prisoners.

Before it gets to Gov. Brown, state lawmakers have to vote on it and Speaker of the State Assembly Anthony Rendon made it clear he's supporting the bill ... but definitely not because of Kim.

His press secretary tells TMZ ... "Unlike Donald Trump, the California Legislature doesn’t need awkward photo ops with Kim Kardashian to do what’s right."

It's an obvious pot shot at POTUS for the pic he took with KKW during her visit to the Oval Office to request a pardon for Alice Marie Johnson.
